Rhythmus ohne Konkurrenz

BIT.TRIP Presents... Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien ist ein Rhythmus-Spiel ohnegleichen, da es die Elemente von Rhythmus und Jump n' Run kombiniert zu einem gut ausgewogenen Mix aus verschiedensten Gameplay-Elementen mit einer kleinen, aber sympathischen Erzählung.

Die Größte Stärke

Das Gameplay ist top und anders. Nach und nach werden Mechaniken erläutert, die Schwierigkeit erstellt sich durch den New Super Mario Bros.-Ansatz; Das Spiel ist leicht, wenn man es nur durchspielen möchte, aber herausfordernd, wenn man 100% erreichen möchte. Man fühlt sich von den Mechaniken im Verlauf des Spiels nicht überfordert, ist aber immer wieder überrascht, wie viel man fähig ist, gleichzeitig anzuwenden.

Die Größte Schwäche

Leider ist diese Stärke auch eine Schwäche. Hat man das Spiel erstmal ein bisschen liegen gelassen, dann fällt es einem sehr schwer, wieder einzusteigen, und man ist dazu geneigt, neu anzufangen, weshalb ich z.B. das Spiel noch immer nicht durchgespielt habe.

Fazit

Der allgemeine Tipp: Wenn ihr darauf Bock habt, bleibt bei der Stange, Runner 2 ist ein unfassbar faszinierendes Genre-Hybrid-Spiel, das seine Niché so gut füllt, dass man sich mehr wünscht. Es ist absolut rund, bugfrei, das Gameplay ist großartig abgewogen und sichtlich durchgetestet, ihr kriegt ein volles Paket für euer Geld. Eine absolute Empfehlung, sollte euch das Gameplay halbwegs ansprechen!

Kann das Spiel einfach nur weiter empfehlen! Schwer, aber machbar wenn man sich zusammenreißt und sich durchbeißt. Denn das es leicht ist, wird oben ja nicht gesagt. ;)

Eines der besten Jump and Run Games die ich für den PC bis jetzt gespielt habe.
Viele Characktere zum frei schalten und eine große anzahl von maps.

Viel besser als der erste Teil. Deutlich fairer, abwechslungsreicher und einige Schwächen des Vorgängers angegangen. Zum Beispiel gibt es nun in jmd Level mind. ein Checkpoint in der Mitte des Levels, was das Spiel deutlich frustfreier gestaltet. Die Rewards sind recht motivierend und regen dazu an, die Level auch mehrmals anzugehen.
Im großen und ganzen ein lustiges kleines Spiel!

Du liebst Jump & Run/ Plattformer und Musik? Dann lies erst gar nicht weiter, sonder Kauf es sofort!

Bit.Trip rennt vom Anfang des Levels bis zum Ende (hoffentlich) mit deiner Unterstützung. Es gilt über Gegner drüber zu springen, unter Hindernissen unten durchzurutschen und das bei feinster Musikuntermalung. Es gibt Gold zum einsammeln, wodurch man andere Leveln freikaufen kann.
Bit Trip bekommt auch ein wenig unterstützung von seinen Freunden, die ebenfalls Freigespielt werden können und auch etliche Kostüme. Die Steuerung funktioniert genau wie sie soll. Es kommt nie das Gefühl auf, dass die Level unfair sind. Wenn Bit Trip ein Leben verloren hat, dann wegen eines Fehlers von mir, immer eines Fehlers von mir selbst. Ausser das Gamepad/Tastatur ist kaputt!

Man sollte es aufjedenfall einmal gesehen haben. Ich liebe es und hab es zu 100% durch mit allen Archivments und wünschte mir, es gäbe kein Ende.

Highscore Liste (Besonders fordern unter Freunden. xD )

Es gibt nichts, dass mir nicht gefallen oder gefehlt hat in diesem Spiel. Also wer auf der suche nach einem J&R Rhytmus Musik Spiel ist, der findet kein Besseres als Bit.Tip 2!

Spitzen-Nachfolger.Grafisch um einiges aufgewertet und um ein paar spielerische Elemente erweitert.Der Wille,alle Goldbarren einzusammeln und das Level zu überstehen motivieren noch genauso wie im Vorgänger.Zudem gibts neue Kostüme sowie neue Charaktere freizuspielen und jede Menge geheime Passagen zu entdecken.

I am an avid achievement hunter by heart and 8 years later I have finally accepted my fate in trying to 100% this game.
If you weren't trying to achievement hunt I would say this game is super fun and just a good game to chill out to for multiple hours at a time just learning the levels and listening to the music.
However if you are achievement hunting... good lord the target practice at the end of each level leads to so much psychic damage i can feel my brain liquifying inside my head.
I truly do like the character options, but I really would like to ask the creators some questions about the stylistic choices of the reverse merman, I just want to talk. If you know, you know but why did they have to make them so big please god it is keeping me up at night.
Good game but I need to wash my skull out with dawn dish soap now.

Significantly better than the previous game, but has new very major issues IMO.

- for completion you are forced to replay levels on easier difficultys. You cant just beat them on the hardest. This is a massively unnecessary waste of time. Every other game in existence will give you lower difficulty rewards and achievements automatically if you complete it on a higher difficulty.

- forced backtracking through previous levels with the whole key vault chest mechanic is stupid, this isnt a metroidvania.

- the ending bullseye minigame is a massive slap in the face. I was able to get it about 75% of the time so it's not like it's super difficult. But if you miss it you just wasted the last 2 minutes of gameplay, and if you succeed you arent really happy, you are just relieved you didnt miss it.

- much like the 1st game, the levels are very repetitive and samey, and there are a LOT of them

The best BIT.TRIP game in the series by a long shot. Sorry Runner3.
The only complaints I can think of are:
• Feels too easy at times, even on Rather Hard
• Levels often feel too same-y, although this could be the result of Runner3's...existence.

If you had to get one game in the series, get this one.

I first played Runner 2 in 2014, and a mere seven years later have actually completed it.

If you ever find yourself in a bit of a sadomasochistic mood pick this one up for a good time. If you're into rhythm or other types of precision games Runner 2 is a must play - do not be fooled by the surface veneer of childish fun and cheer, this game will test you.

If I had to pick some nits, and I do, I'd have to say the synchronization between the beat of the music and your ingame actions often isn't as tight as it could be, but yes I suppose this is prolly one of the best auto runners ever made; I just really wish it had some more variety in the music.

I never thought I'd say this about a game in the genre, but the narrative is totally brilliant and it lovingly oozes inspired passion out of every pixel. The devs really cared about this game, and it shows.

Runner 2's diabolically demented dodgy uncle Thumper is also highly recommended if your hobbies include stress sweating.

Great 2D-like platformer. The game music blends effortlessly into the button presses that after couple of rounds, your hands take over while your brain just enters a trance like state.
Perfect game to unwind for an hour or so, after a long day.

They added checkpoints!

When it comes to the visuals the game looks good and adds some nice touches to the enemies if they get hit by you failing to jump or duck.

But why i can't recommend this game is because you can't rebind the controller inputs and the music is not my taste because it seems to be based on the same 4 (just picking a random number here) notes/beats.

Bit.Trip Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is a mouthful, but a title that is worthy because this game takes everything from the original Runner and adds new dimensions to it. With a very unique presentation, the visuals and audio are really impressive, enhancing gameplay more than ever before. In addition to all of the old mechanics that you expect, new variations are introduced as you progress through each world. The system for scaling difficulty and challenges has much greater depth than in the original. That means this game has the most content ever offered in the Bit.Trip collection, strategically layered to increase replay value. Unlocking new playable characters and collecting outfits for them is a really nice bonus, my favorite being Atlas from Portal 2. With a new checkpoint system introduced into the game, there really is something for everyone from casual to hardcore. If you are a fan of the Runner series or new, this trip isn't just about the future legend of a rhythm alien, it is yours to run like you've never run before. Game on.

BIT.TRIP Presents… the longest title in my steam library. Runner 2 has many improvements over the original, and not just graphically. A world map, difficulty options, checkpoints, way more pleasant music, and Charles Martinet narrating to boot. Runner 2 is weirder than its predecessor, but much more enjoyable, and far more accessible. Even on hard difficulty Runner 2 isn’t nearly as frustrating as Runner 1 could be at times. It’s still as worth the time as the original, but if you feel demoralized or defeated, it won’t prevent you from proceeding all the same.

Played this game entirely with a fight stick controller. I really think more people with fight sticks should try this game, because it really makes you feel like a badass when you beat hard levels with this thing. The only thing that kinda sucks is the fact that i can't use the right stick without disabling the left stick controls, but that's only with my fight stick.

If the devs ever read this: Please consider at least trying this game with a fight stick, and you should realize that this would be a perfect game for an arcade cabinet scenario. I can totally picture going to an arcade (or even a dave+busters) and seeing Commander Video along side gauntlet and street fighter. Thank you.

Runner 2 is how you do a sequel.
It improved in everything. The difficulty, the level design, the characters, the graphics, the music.
The gameplay is similar if not better than the first Runner.
This game is a must play if you're a fan of rhythm-based platformers or just platformers in general.

Runner 2 is a super trippy game. if you are seeking to play casually, you can adjust the game to easy and have a great experience. if you are seeking a challenge, you will not be disappointed either. the gameplay is simple in the sense of there being few controls, compared to other games. but it is deceptively simple, as you'll need to be quick to react and build muscle memory to get through the more challenging parts of the game (not so much in easy). the soundtrack to Runner2 is one of the best i've heard -- it changes as you progress through the level, instead of being a simple loop track -- and the sound effects have a very musical quality that compliments the soundtrack. i can personally recommend this game, i've enjoyed every minute playing it.

A runner game that actually is fun to play, Runner 2 combines nostalgia with modern graphics in this game that catch us with it adicting tune..............no regretes buying this one, and having lots of fun with this game.

So, this game has me in two spots - both of which say you need to play this game.

First off, this game is gorgeous, fun, and sounds glorious. The music is relaxing, yet nuanced enough to build tension. There have been plenty of times where I've played, and then realized that I'd been holding my breath for 45 seconds due to the mounting tension of the music coming to a crescendo.

On the other hand, it's one of the most logically designed games with a smart difficulty ramp up that, fuck, really gets hard as hell the farther you go. It's almost like the designers looked at what made old games great, put their own spin on it after dropping about 47 tabs of acid, and proceeded to vomit forth one of the most charming and enjoyable games I've ever played.

I mean, shit, there's a character named Hamburger Whetfahrt in it. And a fish with gigantic, swinging, bulbous testicles. What more could you ask for?

People say skyrim has good value for money because its cheap and will entertain you for 100's of hours. However, time is resource too, and considering the condensed fun in this game and the low cost; this is the best purchase ive probably ever made.

Buy the game, load it up, and run my friend, run...
