Game Performance
[i]We’re testing out a fix for reported graphical stutters on Steam using the “tech-test” branch.[/i] [i]To help us test this update:[/i] [i]Right click on Brawlhalla in your Steam library, select “Properties”, navigate to “Betas”, and select “tech-test – Testing new engine tech”. Then, navigate to “General” of Brawlhalla Properties, and in the launch options text field enter “-framefix -setfps 240”. (Change 240 to whatever the maximum hz your monitor is capable of, generally 144, 240, or 360.)[/i]
Skirmishes
[i]Skirmishes will be a type of in-game event that splits players into several personal preference themed teams called “Factions” to compete against each other for points called “Influence.” Players earn Influence for their Faction when playing Brawlhalla, and players get bonus Influence for their Factions by playing Ranked against the opposing Factions! The Faction with the most Influence when the Skirmish ends is the winner.[/i] [i]Skirmishes will not be a new Game Mode. It’s a whole new thing. When you log in, you will choose a Faction and get Items based on that faction, like a Title and an Avatar. The winning Faction will get special versions of those Items. Skirmishes are limited time Events that will last around 1-2 weeks, and each Skirmish is a unique theme with unique rewards. We are looking to launch the first Skirmish in October and we’ll have more information on it as we get closer to the date.[/i]
UI Refresh First Look
[i]Viewers of the stream got a first look at the first ever major Brawlhalla UI overhaul! [/i] [i]After last year’s refresh of our logo and branding we were inspired to link the in-game UI with this new aesthetic. You’ll notice Legend splash arts in Legend select, a brand new look for the top right player menu, new fonts, all new buttons, and many many other things.[/i]
Damage Numbers
[i]This highly-requested new opt-in feature will give an option for players to toggle on a view that displays how much Damage their Legend has taken. On-release this option will be available to select in the top right Player Menu.[/i]
BCX 2024

- Xull – With legendary physical strength, this Axe and Cannon wielding Orc Warlord is ready to challenge everyone and everything in Valhalla!
- Thor – Finally entering the ring, Thor, God of Thunder, makes his appearance in the Grand Tournament with his trusty Hammer, Mjölnir, and his powerful Orb.
- Mirage – An occultist, martial artist, and spy, this agent uses the powers of magic and time-travel along with her Scythe and Spear to take down her foes.
- Azoth – Devoted acolytes bring this brilliant and ruthless lich lord to life again (and again) in Valhalla to do battle with Bow and Axe.
- Lin Fei – A defender of the innocent and teacher of the lost ways. She is a great teacher who has developed her own fighting style, the ‘Way of the Iron Dragon,’ which utilizes her Cannon, Katars and an ancestral dragon-spirit.
- Thea – You’ll usually find Thea kicking Asgard with her Battle Boots & Rocket Lance in Thundergard Stadium. She’s second to none in Brawlball, Dodgebomb, and all of Valhalla’s Eternal Sports tournaments.
- Jaeyun – The legendary mercenary who has traveled across the Old Kingdom on the back of his dragon turtle companion Imugi, Jaeyun has discovered new riches and sights in Valhalla! He brings the Greatsword and Sword to battle in the Grand Tournament.
