Spiel hat mir im ersten Anlauf SUPER gefallen!
Inzwischen frustet es aber auch nur noch!
Sterbe gefühlt an Stellen, wo ich nicht sterben sollte.... laufend.
Daher nach 16 stunden inzwsichen ein beigeschmack, der gar kein spass macht

- Mit 2 Km/h vor Baum--> tot!
- mit 2 Kmh einen Stein treffen oder knapp an der Rampe vorbei --> tot
- Obwohl man den maximal zu holenden Speed nimmt, schafft man z.B. die erste Rampe nicht. Man landet und rollt trotz Bremse zurück in die Rampe --> tot
- Rampe (50/50%) entweder zu schnell --> tot oder zu langsam --> tot ! Übrigens auch kein Hinweis.
- Mal fliege ich kaum höher als 2 m, lande sauber, aber er kippt trotzdem um! mal so mal so --> tot!
- Mal brauche ich 70 km für den 1. Boss stunt und mal 50 Km/h Ohne abspringen (in der regel zu kurz)! ?! Was jetzt! Das ist doch völlig random! Geschwindigkeit sauber halten und grade fahren und sonst nur daumen drücken, sodass er nicht durch einen einfachen salto wieder 50 m weiter fliegt oder viel zu kurz! naja

Unbedingt ein Must-have für jeden, der mit dem Fahrrädern offroad fährt und ebenfalls Games liebt. Allerdings können auch Spieler, die nicht viel mit einem Fahrrad etwas an zu fangen zu wissen, dennoch ihren Spaß haben.

Dieses Spiel macht sehr viel Spaß, ist ziemlich realistisch aufgebaut und man kann es gut zusammen mit Freunden Spielen.

Das Spiel ist sehr gut, da man eine Freie Spielwelt hat. Das Tutorial erklärt alle wichtigen Aktionen, die man wissen muss. Außerdem hat man auch viele Welten, die andere Spieler gemacht haben, wie z.B Ninja Warrior.

Sehr cooles Fahrradspiel. In Descenders kann man Tricks machen und auch einen Karriere Modus gibt es. Es gibt auch Mods da wo man noch viel mehr Strecken abonnieren kann. Das Spiel ist sehr empfehlenswert. :)

Gerade wenn man viel mit Fullys zutun hat und selber fährt, kennt man es wenn es draußen regnet, und mann nicht fahren kann. Dieses Spiel hilft einem diese zeit zu überbrücken, sowie hilft das Spiel tricks wie den Whip besser verstehen zu können, und die Angst zu überwinden.

Descenders is the kind of game that you can pick up on a Tuesday night, have a blast with for a few hours, and then put down. Both the procedurally generated campaigns and community-made bike parks make for endless possibilities, and when combined with the game's easy to pick up but difficult to master riding and trick mechanics and solid aesthetic progression systems, this 8 GB game turns into untold hundreds of hours of potential fun.

8/10, real ones play in first person.

rlly fun and quite addictive and even if u have a mid range pc the game isn't very high demand i have a terrible pc that trash and with a few tweeks with res and graphics it run fine and is still rlly fun 10/10

There is a career mode I played through a few times and also speedrunned in around 26min, took me about 8 hours to get it if I remember correctly xD, but the core of the game is in the
bike parks and the community maps you can download ingame, that's where my 50 hours come from.

Obviously not a competitor to the Triple A Riders Republic, but a good, cheaper and more realistic alternative if you are just interested in bikes.

Controller doesn't work. Works flawlessly in other games (e.g. Rocket League), but in this game the inputs keep being ignored. The developers tell you to fuck off when you try to raise it with support.

To sum this game up in one sentence, I'd say it's a racing game designed for people who like things to be slow and strategic.

I feel like this game has the potential to be something absolutely outstanding, but it's been taken in a direction that just kinda goes against everything it should be good at. It could be this time trials race game where you have all these courses that progress in difficulty, and you race against the leaderboard for the fastest times, but instead of being a fast paced time trial type race game, it's a rogue like with randomised skills and procedurally generated tracks? So there's no learning the tracks and getting better at all of them, you've just kinda constantly got to play slowly and carefully due to the rogue-like life system, the unpredictability of the tracks, and the constantly fluctuating capabilities of your rider. I just don't think a system like that really works for a game like this.

Glad I tried this on free weekend so I can remove it from my wishlist. It's not bad, it's just not for me.
Somehow I was probably expecting an experience closer to say Tony Hawk games, this is not it.

If you want to get the best experience of BTT , that's the probably the best one for the price point

Insane Sport Game

It's one of the very few sport games that managed to bring something new to the table; Rogue Like elements.
Now I bought it bcuz of that and Procedural gen on it's own but I stayed for the very good feeling of riding that magnificent bike. Now In Real Life I got a Skate bu damn has this game made me consider riding a Bicycle.

Ony downside is that it doesnt have nearly enough tricks, they're similar in they use the Skate/Spiderman Games tricks formula but they should expand on it, also using a Stunt Bike removes the ability to Can Can and that's very sad :(((((

Super reminiscent of the SSX/Dave Mirra games to me, slightly reminiscent of SKATE too. Highly addictive. Makes me wanna go back to SSX3 and see how it holds up.

This game is great though, I've put 9.2 hours in just the first two days owning it. The future looks promising too assuming the devs stay with it (and that's not to say there isn't enough content already, there is). Apart from some slight oversights, the only features that I really hope are added in the future are pegs and grind obstacle, an option to enable player collision, and lastly an actual race gamemode. This game is all about style but I'm a little surprised that a proper race mode isn't available.

Descenders is an incredibly fun BMX racing game with a good variety of tracks and different locations. There are plenty of jumps and tricks to do and they are easy to do with excellent controls. Keyboard controls are easy to learn and play with. There are a lot of customization skins to unlock which are all done just through playing the game. No microtransaction crap here.

The devs still add content to the game and there is a good variety of game modes to play. Career, Career Plus, Freeride, Daily Challenges, Bike Parks and mods. When you play through your career you will see other players and if you get disconnected you just continue playing. It doesn't interfere with your progress at all.

The soundtrack is excellent and helps make the game relaxing. This is a game you can just jump into and play weather its for a quick 10 minute gaming session or an hour long one.

An amazingly fun game with plenty of challenges, tracks to play, lots of customization, easy to learn controls and an awesome soundtrack. Descenders is a must play.

Besides that , its a great game that feels very rewarding without being a huge time sync. You can hop on for an hour or so and have a alot fun and actually make progress. The trick system play similar to the Skate series, where you use stick position and bumper combos to pull off a variety of tricks. As far as progression its rogue-like, you can only crash so many times in a run before you go back to start, although you will get cosmetic items based on points at the end of the run. There are multiple levels that you unlock, plenty of bike-parks to cut your teeth on and have fun with. Plus a very solid soundtrack to accompany you throughout the game. Worth the full price in my opinion!

Extreme thrillseeking.

Descenders is an intense stunt-biking game with procedural level generation. Thrust into the seat of a bike, players must survive treacherous landscapes and catch the biggest thrills, whilst trying to avoid being pasted against the ground.

Take in the scenery at over 60 miles per hour.

It’s a looker, this one. I especially commend the boosted saturation which makes everything pop on-screen, and enhances contrast in most situations. From lush, flowing highlands to snow-covered peaks, at first glance it’s a pretty title. However, procedural level generation has its shortcomings: the stages aren’t very populated with detailed objects, while the terrain presents several odd tessellation artifacts in raised corners and ridges. Ground textures are mostly serviceable, though some degree of tiling is apparent, and post-processing is on the mixed side – moving object blur extends beyond its confines, leading to smearing wheels, and depth-of-field is sudden with little ramp-up. There’s also something up with the fog effect, as distant terrain looks gray through the haze - most jarring when in bad weather conditions.

Ah, but while it might not look quite the best, it does run really well. A locked 60fps at 1440p on my Ryzen 9 3900X, 64GB RAM, 1070 Ti, Windows 10 Pro system, and on all graphical settings cranked to the max – no stability issues to report.

Amen break your bones.

To keep the gushing short, the soundtrack is two hours of licensed, liquid drum-and-bass provided by the record label Liquicity, and the zen-like atmosphere it provides is absolutely brilliant. It does, sadly, become repetitive, moreso if one does not enable the “shuffle music” option; each region otherwise only plays a small set of the music. Voice acting is very limited, with the most you ever get being your rider’s cheers, whistles and grunts whenever you either nail wicked tricks, or fail spectacularly at them. And when you do fail, the simple yet effective crunch sound effects will let you know how badly it hurts them.

A bit harder than riding a bicycle.

Though the header isn’t to say it feels bad to control. At least with a gamepad it’s nice; keyboard controls might need rebinding when they’re so complex as to almost require three hands. Be mindful of the absence of a dedicated reverse function – if you end up facing the wrong way, you’ll have to do hops and turn in place.

Anyway, fittingly for a bike, you can perform all kinds of stunts with relative ease, especially when aided by ramps, a bunny-hop, and a good bit of speed. It’s the fact there’s very little protection from impacts or bad landings which makes surviving difficult. You’re more than welcome to do a moon-jump and flip dizzyingly through the air with such flair that even your rider cheers, or attain such a velocity as you shoot through the trees, that your eyes water from the fantastic sense of speed.

Mistakes hurt, and Descenders makes sure you know it. Your rider’s fairly fragile on multiple accounts. The regular career spans four environments, with multiple stages to traverse and pick from. An alternate career, labelled as “Career Plus”, has a very similar progression in significantly different levels. Almost every track is procedurally generated, with different properties such as steepness or the density of stunts, in addition to other modifiers that can impede vision or traversal. That aforementioned health can also be replenished by completing secondary objectives on each route, which comes at a considerable risk, like with many other things in this title. Also, a small number of nodes are fixed in design and carry unique secondary objectives, such as reaching a flag perched atop a construction yard.

A true descender!

Successfully clearing boss jumps, located at the end of each biome, helps unlock shortcuts to later levels. This can act as good practice for the deadly challenges that await your rider. Meanwhile, score enough rep in a single run and you can hire additional crew members from a random pool, to boost your riding capabilities, change up terrain generation, or scout additional stages and prevent negative modifiers. The balance of the crew members is a little dubious, as rarely does scouting prove useful, while enhanced bike riding is most valuable.

Outside of career modes, there is the option to generate a level with custom parameters, participate in once-a-day leaderboard runs on career biomes, enjoy specific multiplayer lobbies, or venture through custom bike parks. The last one is most interesting, given their more free-form nature and lack of penalties or risks to your overall goal of reaching the finish line. Also, the Bike Out series of parks are supremely difficult obstacle courses.

Long term goals revolve, one way or another, around customization. You’re drip-fed clothing or accessory items after each run – win or [strike]lose[/strike] rekt, and for completing various milestones. A color picker for the many palette swaps of clothes would’ve been nice, but even with that small complaint there are a ton of items to earn throughout your playtime.

Helping with that are the sponsorships, and the Grand Tour. With the former, completing specific daily goals bumps you through a team’s tiers and showers you with goodies. Meanwhile, the Grand Tour encompasses everything about the game’s mechanics and offerings, and also rewards with even more stuff. The rarest stuff, of course, is awarded only for scoring massive rep on your runs.

A full career run, without dying, can be done in as little as two hours, but it is only a small part of the game. Its content can easily stretch to beyond 20 hours.

An extreme thrill.

Descenders is a splendid sports game. Breakneck speeds and dizzying stunts await those with a love for freestyle, an addiction to danger, and a gamepad.

If you enjoyed roguelike or extreme sports games, you will like this game. The game is just straight up fun. This is not a racing game, it's a freeride downhill biking game. You can choose whether you played it safe or take the risk to do the crazy stunts you want to do. The developer is also constantly updating this game with new stuff like cosmetics or new bike parks or even a whole new challenges. This is really the best biking games to have ever existed.

I've had Descenders for a while now. I play it on occasion, usually trying the bikeouts. I recently bought Riders Republic because the reveiws made it look like Descenders with a AAA budget as well as skiing and wingsuits. Riders Republic is an amateur F2P game wearing the blood-soaked, stolen clothes of a premium title. If you want some good downhill action with MTBs and you're deciding between this and RR, go for this. It's better in every way. In fact you can probably purchase this and Steep for about half the price of RR and get a much better experience than that game offers.

In Descenders it will take a bit of time to get used to the controls but once you do, you'll be popping tricks left, right and upside down. It's great fun, the right amount of challenging. Procedural generation keeps things fairly fresh and the rogue-lite elements keep you on your toes. It's also updated fairly regular and the bike parks are really fun. My only real gripes with the game are that you can't remap the controls on a controller and there's a weird film grain thing. Though, these things barely detract from the experience. Buy it if you like MTBs and think they're severely underused in videogames these days.

i love mountain biking and personally really enjoy this game. Theres tons of things to do in single player campaign but i wish the muiltiplayer was more perfected, its not very easy to join another friends game. i also wish i could join my xbox friends hopefully that feature will be added in the near future, otherwise this is a great fun game overall and really fun with friends.

There are some very real Downhill Domination vibes while playing this game and I am LOVING it! :D

Definitely my favorite trick and free ride game on Steam at the moment.
The racing is fun but not what I purchased it for.

CONS: I really only have two cons but they are big ones...
1.) **EDIT** THIS CON IS NOT TRUE. YOU CAN IN FACT SET SPAWN POINTS DURING FREE PLAY! Cannot set spawn point during Free Play. This means you are guaranteed to spawn at 1 of 4 spawn locations no matter where you crashed. This is very sucky because if you find a really fun spot and crash, you have to ride all the way back to that spot to try again. Crashing is exciting and part of learning, but being unable to set a spawn point to repeat said learning is NOT okay.

2.) There is NO way to go in reverse, AKA take your feet off the pedals and walk the bike back a few steps. This makes it very difficult to properly line up your bike and get it in the right position to do the tricks and free roam the way one would like.

All in all, Descenders is a great game and if this con I listed is addressed it would be perfect for open world tricking and riding.

MTB and DNB what more could you want. This game is great fun, the game-play is good and the controls are smooth, there are plenty of levels to roll through, some harder than others but all fun, minus the forest, I hated that. The customisation is good, you can choose jerseys, bikes etc but they need unlocking as you progress and they do so randomly , a shop system would be nice to have. The soundtrack is fantastic and fits the game-play perfectly, I also recommend playing with a controller. Great game.

This game is really great. If you played any of the Skate games growing up, this is built on a pretty similar open-world platform, just with mountain bikes instead of skateboards. I played this game during a free play weekend a while back and put 12 hours into it in 2 days, so I bought it and have no regrets. Great game to play if you're wanting to just kick back and take a break from grindy, intense games.

The gameplay reminds me of skate 3 where I can just jump in and goof around or i can actually follow the campaign its addictive and fun with anything you do and if you have friends who play it, it makes it 10x better ive never put 100 hours into a game without noticing. When I first finished the game I thought to myself that the game was quite boring. Regardless I kept coming back and damn this game is addictive - Perfect mix of bike simulator and a rougelike. All my praise to Turbosquid for making this masterpiece and keeping it fresh with updates.

Love this game. Does everything right and very little wrong. Great gameplay, lots of community content, lots of in-game content, easy to run, and a lot to learn. You can really improve your skills.

To the devs, make some more mods into official bike parks!

Watching gameplay footage did not do this game justice for me. The thing that isn't captured in the gameplay footage is the snappiness of the inputs as well as the polish on the physics. Add these two things together and you get a very fun game. Add to that lots and lots of different environments to unlock and explore and you get a lot to come back to for more playtime. The multiplayer is a nice touch too!

This game is groundbreaking, with incredible graphics and a great gameplay feel.

*There are nine worlds to explore
*There are hundreds of items to collect
*You can even create your own paths in an editor if you want.
*There is also multiplayer so you can play with your friends, if you have any that is? But otherwise there are a lot of people in the game that you can join and have fun with.

Overall the game is a good time-killer, you can even have a fun session with friends. Dont expect any realism though, the closer we have in real life is the Red Bull Rampage)

What I am feeling double about is the difficulty on career + sessions(its like an extreme mode in a shooter game which unlocks after the main story. I mean its overkill. My hands are like sausages anyway.

Easy to pick up, satisfying to master. There's fun at all levels of play, and I still haven't felt so far that there's a definite peak in skill, especially with each level being procedurally generated and offering some new unseen combination of features on each roll.
Having been a life-long fan of the SSX series, Dave Mirra games, and Downhill Domination, Descenders feels right at home in my mind alongside them, albeit less arcadey. The same flow-state and rush of landing a satisfying line is there, and improvisation is greatly encouraged through both the granular controls and boundaryless levels.
It does feel like it lacks in game modes and features, so if the core gameplay isn't your thing, there won't be much to shake it up or convince you otherwise. That said, the replay value for those who do take hold is surprisingly deep, and I find myself still dropping into freeride for an hour or so every week.

This game is a great way to turn off your brain and have fun for 45 minutes at a time. It does a great job of making you feel the speed and the curves and the height of your jumps.

Absolutely recommended. If you're on the fence but you think it looks pretty fun, go for it -- it's a really fun game.

This game is my new relax/kill time game. I've had my eye on it for the past year, picking this up was the best decision and WELL worth it's regular price and FOR SURE worth it when on sale. Super addictive, easy to pick up but hard to master gameplay. No transactions, plenty of content, great developer support, and a dedicated player base. Great soundtrack to accompany you in the forests while riding your bike enjoying the beautiful views. Definitely worth checking out, support this game!

Descenders is a real gem of a game. It is highly entertaining, and doesn't demand huge amounts of time. It is simple to learn the basics, you can progress through the career mode by just shooting down the mountain without any tricks. Adding in tricks to your runs, on the other hand, adds a lot of complexity. Support for mods adds another element as well, since there are tons of user made maps and such. All in all, I highly suggest trying it!

What can I say? It's just amazing! I love the calmness of this game and I love the fact that I can completely lose myself playing this. It also has the best OST I've ever heard. It does everything Steep does, but better and even more! Absolutely amazing. Only downside is that there is no way to chat with people. 9/10 amazing game.

Wicked game, bought it coz I do MTB in real life, cant do the tricks I can do in this game in real life though lol yet.. casing fucking tripple flips and such, jesus. but one day maybe, but this game is great its almost perfect.... almost... its just missing one ... thing, where I can't make a bike in the game look like my real life bike at home. it doesnt need to perform the same, I just wish I could change colours/add decals etc to make one where it looks like my real life bike, churchur

One of my favourite couch games. Great fun in short spurts. While the rewards aren't really there and the game has a difficult curve it's part of the appeal. Normally this would put me off a game like this. However this is perfect for couch gaming, sitting with friends and watching them suffer through understanding the game. Good stuff, the developers are very active with the community which is great to see.

Being reminiscent of Downhill Domination and in search of a new downhill MTB game, I found Descenders. Its actually remarkable how you can take such a good engine, pleasing graphics, and smooth gameplay and still find someway to ruin it. Rather than a career mode with unique tracks or real life locations, they decided to have basic-environments that random generate tracks that have absolutely no soul or fun. And on top of that, there is a life-system! If you fall you lose a life, and you know how to gain lives? Soul-less randomly generated objectives. The career mode discourages you to do anything on the trail trick-wise, punishing you for literally anything other than rolling to the bottom. They have made career mode an abysmal experience that feels like you're watching paint dry just to unlock the fun areas.

This biking game is incredible. There's a lot of replay value due to the procedurally generated maps. Not only that, the devs are really involved in the game's community, and actually supports players. (Wow! What a concept!)

There's a lot to love from this fast pace racing game. Highly recommend!
