2025 begann zwischen den Mächten der Wettlauf um die Erforschung des Weltraums. Eine große Anzahl von Raketen wurde in den Weltraum geschickt, um mehrere große Raumstationen zu bauen. Das Hauptziel war die Untersuchung von Asteroidenmikroorganismen. Auf einem der Asteroiden wurde ein gefrorener Organismus gefunden, der zum ersten Mal harmlos erschien.
Nach einiger Zeit begann er sich zu entwickeln und er brauchte einen Träger, ein Mann kam zu dieser Rolle, ist nicht schlecht! 90% der Stationen waren mit einem unbekannten Virus infiziert, der Evolutionsprozess setzte ein, in kurzer Zeit waren nur noch wenige Menschen da.

Sie übernehmen die Rolle des Propagandisten Nicholas, der der Befehlshaber der Spezialeinheit ist, im Trupp "Alpha". Gott rette dich!

Optisch ist das Spiel in Ordnung, damit hören die positiven Sachen aber auch schon auf.
Die Gegner sind absolute Schießbudefiguren, da hätte man auch Pappschilder aufstellen können.
Ich habe das Spiel auch im ersten Level abbrechen müssen. Es wird da eine Zahlenkombination für ein Schloss verlangt, die ich einfach nicht finden konnte. Ich habe einen Teil eines Matherätsels gefunden, das dafür benötigt wird, doch ich hatte einfach kein Bock in den Gängen weiter zu suchen. Es sieht alles gleich aus und ich habe mich ständig verirrt. Sonst wäre ich hier in max. 15 Minuten mit dem Spiel fertig gewesen.
Ich habe bei einem anderen YouTuber geschaut, doch der Code hat bei mir nicht funktioniert.
Ich kann gar nicht in Worte fassen, wie sehr mich so was nervt. Einfach nur als stumpfes Minigame ohne Rätsel hätte das Spiel sogar einen Daumen hoch von mir bekommen. Aber es muss unbedingt so ein Mist eingebaut werden, um die Spielzeit künstlich zu strecken und die Spieler wie dumm durch die monotonen Gänge laufen zu lassen.
Spart Euch das Geld. Da gibt es bessere Shooter für lau.

I have a pretty high tolerance for indie jank. I've played through and found enjoyment in games like the Ghostship series, Putrefaction, Solarix/Reframed, Chasing Dead, etc.

However, Doom in the Dark is barely a game. It's basically a bunch of zombie and alien assets with simplistic A.I. (just move in a straight line towards you) dropped into a grid-like maze map, with no real flow or sense of progress. There are also only a couple of levels, too, and no real win condition. The gunplay is very poor, it really feels like The Slaughtering Grounds level of quality.

The receptionist is cute, though (in a low budget LovesLab kind of way), so that is one (and only one) thing this game does better than 99% of AAA games being released in these modern times.

if you're looking for a creepy Vibe creepy music and Zombies in Space recommended game especially if you can try to get around $2 I will give this a 4 out of 10 no story

Don't let the shiny screenshots fool you like they fooled me - I normally quite enjoy even low budget, generic FPSes but this
game simply has no enjoyable gameplay whatsoever. It's a shooting gallery with repetitive corridors where the only problem you can face is running out of ammo.

Nice graphics but horribly unpolished and pointless, you'll lose interest in five minutes. Just a first person shooter cobbled together quickly it seems, pits you against zombie cosmonauts with no story or point at all. Weapons sound like peashooters. Controls so annoying it's funny, you can't even strafe and there's no key binding that I could find. Even if it's going for a dollar when you're reading this, don't waste that dollar. Donate it to a good cause. This isn't a good cause.

So first of all I liked the gun play and the atmosphere was very creepy.
I'm not so sure about how hard it is to kill the zombies but that's not a problem.
