- tolles Leveldesign
- schöne Puzzle Elemente
- versteckte Dinge
- faire Speicherpunkte
- einfache Steuerung
- tolle Atmosphäre
- abwechslungsreich
- guter Sound

I did not like how the controls were while playing this game. If you are into horror, this will not be scary. Mostly just a bunch of scary music and creepy sounds. Playing without any sound and it's just disturbing images. There are a lot of nice puzzles to solve while playing, so that is a plus. It is frustrating trying to navigate around when you can't be in the dark long, the torch you are given only stays lit for a few seconds and I can't move left or right to turn while walking which makes trying to get through dark pathways extremely frustrating. I just wouldn't recommend this one is all. Maybe you might like it though. I suggest having a lot of patience if you are going to try. I will come back and try to finish this one bc I did purchase it. Just not as nice to play as some others.

Game is too dark ( in terms of visibility ), requires backtracking throughout all the levels and if this game was a book it would only have an intro. Game and the story ends while it just started to tell you what this game and story is all about. This practice to sell you the second chapter from my perspective is not acceptable. Also I do not agree with key features segment in its advertisement, there is no replayability or challenges that put your reflexes at test.

If I turn my monitor off and put a bandage on my eyes I'd see better where I'm supposed to go. It's all pitch black even at highest brightness, I keep falling off the platforms to death and can't move a step because I don't know which task to do and why. And that's just the first scene after the starting tutorial.

Looked promising and immersive, if I could see a thing...

This game has some pretty cool imagery, but the muddy feeling of the controls and the pitch black environments take away any sort of fun to be had. It's also a pain to try to 100% since there's no way to load old saves once you pass a checkpoint thus requiring you to start the entire game over again if you miss so much as a single note.

Standard Unity game with level design where you have to go to place and back to extend game it seems. I don't mind if this sometimes happens, but if it happens too much it seems on purpose. I wonder if people actually completed this game...

Too bad for the devs as i can image some time and effort went into making this game, would be great to see that people like the game you've build, but i think it would be better if they somehow included the players from the beginning?

Ow yeah, and like somebody else mentioned. I got a logitech racing wheel, had to disable that one in windows as they will take that input as well :( Not very well tested it seems.

I realize that this game has an audience, and I admit that the premise is normally something that would intrigue me, but I hate Doorways: Prelude with every fiber of my being. After forcing myself through four grueling hours of torture, I'm wiping my hands of it. I can't understand what the developers were thinking by making the game so incredibly dark. And yes, I had my brightness turned ALL the way up on my monitor, but even then most things were just barely discernible. Wandering around in the dark is not fun. Perhaps if I had a map I might have been more willing to continue trudging through it, but no. There are FAR better games out there that don't require me to wander aimlessly in search of a light source to prevent me from walking into walls or backtracking because I can't make out ANY landmarks. Unfortunately, I've heard the next two games are better, but this one has spoiled any interest I might have had in them. Oh, and no FOV slider hurts too. I spent a full afternoon after playing this feeling like I was coming down with the flu. So if you're susceptible to motion sickness, avoid this one like the plague.

This game relies way too much on darkness to make its puzzles way more difficult than they need to be. For example, there is a section with a memory-type puzzle, where you have to step on a grid of tiles in the correct sequence to pass. However, the floor is completely dark, so you can't even tell which tile you're standing on. Even if you've memorized the sequence, you still have to make leaps of faith in the darkness and hope you land on the right tile.

If it takes you 2 hours to solve a puzzle that could be solved in 10 seconds with the lights on, that's a pretty poorly designed puzzle.
