But first, we want to take a moment to say something personal: We never thought that one day our own board games would be standing on our shelves. Seeing Dorfromantik as a physical game is still something we’re very grateful for. Being able to work so closely with such talented board game authors is a real privilege, and we’re thankful for every step of this journey.

This is the classic Dorfromantik experience on the table: calm, cooperative, and focused on building beautiful landscapes together. Our original tile placement system, just a little more campaign-driven than you know it from the digital version.

A more competitive take on Dorfromantik, where you face each other directly and compare your results. Both players build their own landscapes with identical tiles.

Sakura introduces a new biome and a different atmosphere, while keeping the familiar Dorfromantik feeling. A Japan-inspired setting with cherry blossoms and rice fields.

Board Game News: What We’re Working On

Now for the news.

Some of you may have already heard that we’re working on [b]new content for the PC version[/b] of Dorfromantik, and that a [b]mobile edition[/b] is currently in the works. But we haven’t talked much yet about what’s coming next for the [b]Dorfromantik board games[/b], so let’s change that!

We’re currently working on [b]several new Dorfromantik board game adaptations[/b]. After Duel and Sakura, another [b]major Dorfromantik board game title[/b] is coming later this year.

[b][u]Release Timing[/u]:[/b] The main concept is already in place. Now we’re diving into the design work. We’ll be showcasing the game [b]this autumn at SPIEL in Essen[/b], Germany (public fair for board games). The event is scheduled for the end of October.

Alongside the major game, we’re also developing [b]several new smaller editions[/b], each bringing fresh ideas and new ways to experience Dorfromantik. ????
