Howdy all!

We have been working on an update that:

A. Greatly reduces the lag when entering new areas
B. Fixes the crash that can occur during sleeping or entering a new area

These issues have required some foundational refactoring to fix, and we've had to replace some graphics related systems. So given the size of this change, I am first pushing the update to a beta branch. We'd be extremely appreciative if you try it out and let us know how it goes! You can leave us your feedback either through the forums, bug reporter, contact@eastshade.com, or our discord.

To play the beta build, you have to right click on the game in your steam library and go to the "Betas" tab, and select "beta" from the dropdown.
