It's a port from a mobile game...

There is not much to do other then grind the same enemies and bosses all over.

Good to kill some time , but that's about it.

This game is an addictive time-waster. All you do is grind and level up, in the same arenas for 600 total levels. I don't know what happens when you get to 600, having only made it to around 200, but probably nothing. You can fight the final boss at any time past level 15, but all you do is get more powerstones to level up and start over. It's also obviously a mobile port.

Now, if you really just want to mindlessly kill enemies in a Gauntlet-style game, but with arenas instead of levels, this is pretty good. And I actually enjoyed that for a few hours. But honestly it's barely better than playing slot machines to win monopoly money - in many ways, a distillation of modern games to their fundamentals without any illusions of art or story.

If you want to pay less than a dollar to mindlessly consume hours of your life playing a mobile port, then it's an ok game. But I can't give it a positive review, and wouldn't started playing it even for free if I'd known what I was getting into.

They just keep bringing shovelware from mobiles to Steam, aren't they? Even though screenshots may make you expect something Diablo-like, what we have here is yet another one of those crappy “survive the wave” games people usually play while waiting in lines at the airports and drinking their morning coffee. No real end here, no variety, nothing. You finish some stages by killing a certain amount of the enemies, you challenge the so-called Skeleton King, repeat. The more waves you survive before challenging the king – the better your rewards will be. The more money, gems and other crap you'll collect through the rewards – the better equipment you'll be able to afford. The better your equipment – the more waves you'll be able to survive.

Well, you've got the idea. It's the perfectly dull, boring and repetitive game with nothing but grinding in it. Thankfully, this version doesn't let you to pay real money to buy the stuff, but trust me, it doesn't make the game more enjoyable. Grave Keeper is one of those games that make you feel seriously bad about wasting both your money and your time on 'em. If you seriously want to throw away $9.99 / £7.19, you're always welcomed to give 'em to me. I promise to put 'em to good use ;-) But buying this game? Well, even watching your money burn is more exciting then playing this game. You have been warned.

Given the game as a gift.

Was hoping to knock up a few quick achievements or maybe even complete the game. Unfortunately to do so would require a lot more effort than am prepared to invest in the game, maybe another ten hours and that's too much for something that is pretty much shooting whilst running backwards.

Graphics are OK, basic idea also good. What I don't like is the level of difficulty. The game goes from very easy to requiring upgraded equipment and concentration very quickly. And as you progress well the enemy also becomes tougher so you have very brief period of one shot kills followed by having to hit everything twice whilst running backwards shooting. You can hit things with melee weapons and have to do so against crawling enemies (why?) adding another pointless little chore to the game play.

Break point was the level 29 Boss, can't kill it without grinding and all I'm ever going to do is shoot it. If I sink three hours into the game get to level 30 and the same nonsense with that boss.

What could have been a fun game played for thirty minutes is instead ten or more hours of grind. It is over priced for what it is.

The game feels like a mobile clicker and the giant lady is not helping at all. As it turns out, it is free to play on mobile and I can recommend it there, just not on Steam. The controls are clunky and the translation(?) is awkward, as is the punctuation.

As a F2P Mobile game: 7/10
For Steam: 2/10

It's certainly noticeable that this is a mobile port : Whilst the graphics are nice and movement is smooth, the developers certainly haven't taken any advantage of the extra processing power of the PC.

There are also sound effects missing - your character and the shop keeper are the only real things that make a noise. In addition, its a rather repetitive game.

Only get it if its deeply discounted

Refunded. A poorly ported, average quality mobile game. Way overpriced. Avoid unless it's 99 cents.

Not what I was expecting. I thought it would have game play that was similar to other ARPGs, but it's more like a series of arena rooms where a fixed number of enemies spawn. You kill the enemies, go to next arena room. Eventually a boss comes. The english translations are poor, and all in all with the daily missions and store to purchase items with gems, it seems more like a mobile game. If this is what you are looking for, you may find it fun. It performs well and looks fine, but it's not the type of game I was looking for.
