Hellish Quart pre-alpha v.2025.11.17.1
OPTIMIZATION:
- Heavy UI graphics now load from disk in realtime, which makes loading shorter
- Some UI elements are now packed into atlases, saving memory and loading times
- Textures now stream to save video memory on low-end hardware
- Options are now integrated into the Main Menu level, which makes accessing them instant
- General cleanup: got rid of references to characters on levels and scripts to avoid loading them into memory unless needed for an upcoming duel (except Story Mode - work in progress)
FIX:
- Marie, Marta: fixed an IK flinch when killing someone with a thrust in HEMA mode
- Isabella: corrected trajectory of side combo animations
- fixed some textures and sprites which size was not a power of 4 (the compression was broken)
- fixed some jerky camera movement blends
- fixed many minor issues
TWEAK:
- Jacek: his attack power no longer is modified by Stamina
- Jacek: sword edge detector moved forward a bit to prevent detecting blade hits with the back edge
- Connor: a bit better Idle to walk blending
- Kalkstein: a bit more muscle power for better sword trajectories
