Choose your Leader
You can pick a new leader each run. As leader, you're responsible for keeping your party alive as you battle the hordes. You wield the most powerful skills, so choose wisely and your other heroes will have your back.
Grow your Party
Your camp starts small with a handful of heroes and grows as you explore the world. Winning a run unlocks new areas. Failure sends you back to camp to pick a new leader, upgrade your party, and try again.
Heal, Control Crowds, and Resurrect
Combine different heroes and items to use skills like healing and crowd control. When heroes fall in battle, try to help them up. If they're SLAIN, visit a cemetery to resurrect them.
Explore to Find Objectives
Your quest is to escape The Hand. You'll need to find the towers and gates that keep your party locked inside the world of Helmscape. Along the way you'll uncover hidden dungeons, open glorious chests, and ride some surprising but familiar mounts.
