Es ist ein Game welches einem entspannt.
Genau richtig um zwischendurch ein wenig herum zu hüpfen
um Pflanzen weg zu Lasern und die eine oder andere Kiste zu finden.

Im Hintergrund kein unnötiges Dauergedudel von irgendeiner Musik
die mit der Zeit auf die Nerven geht.....

Einfach hüpfen, Klettern, Lasern und Basteln.

Sehr schönes Game, ich bin froh darüber das ich es erworben habe.

Bitte weiter so.

best rouge-like i've played in a while,beautiful soundtrack,sound design,neon bloom colors,cool enemy designs,played the demo fell in love have over 63 hours on it,now that i got the full? its ooooooooonnn,great game [ edit over 100 hours on the demo lol ]

Really fun but I bought it for the co-op. The dev removed co-op right after I bought it and from what I understand has moved onto a different game. It's sad because otherwise this game had a lot of potential.

the game is rough around the edge and not ground breaking, its ok but still has some gameplay problem... dont expect a good old roguelike where you can spend thousand of hour on it easely. consider it more like a little one time experience.

its ok and maybe a little bit expensive and i suggest to try the demo before buying.

(also the achievement are not working for me?)

This game is so underrated! Want to see a lets play on YouTube? Good luck because there's almost none! The game is so polished, relaxing and fun! Even the wiki has almost no information! This game is so polished, but unknown.

I was in the process of writing a more comprehensive review of this game, but while in the midst of experimenting the game decided to vanish my +30 weapon. Buggy mess that needs a lot of work to be a good game. It has potential but the slog of being able to succeed isn't worth my time. Autolock is bad on a good day, only good use is detecting enemies hidden through the intense darkness.

Quality of life really needs to be improved - pretty obvious with such as crafting recipes only being available with items in inventory, inconsistent wall jumps, can't recycle many items, cannot set a max craft items, and the slow ledge animation without i-frames.

It makes me really upset how great the atmosphere and music is compared to the dog and pony show crafting and combat is. So much lost on a product not ironed out. Seriously dev you're doing good work but this game frustrates me like nothing else.

This defnitely isn't the end of the line for the game and I really am looking forward to it being more polished, it has seriously a lot of potential but the controls are clunky and are even worse on a controller due to the aimed dashing.

The controls are janky. UI is not intuitive. I got frustrated and quit. might try it again later. Wait for a better sale.

EDIT: I was a bit grumpy when i wrote my initial review. I was in a bad mood and couldn't figure out what buttons were what right off and it put me in a worse mood. After realizing dash was shift and learning how to craft the key i feel better and needed to change my initial review. I still have to play more but now have a better opinion of the game. changing to recommended.

This is a very distinct game.

I played the original Himno and I was enjoying it a lot. When I heard about new game that takes place in this world I was very exited and started following the development.

Gameplay

This game plays like good old platformer games. The movement is smooth and very pleasant.
You fight enemies and clear districts from corruption. After you cleared it, you can get your reward and go to the next district, but here is the twist, you can craft weapons and equipment along side with upgrading it.

Notable features

+ Amazing soundtrack
+ Good graphics
+ Nice movement
+ Active development
+ Very good mix of genres
+ Gorgeous atmosphere

I don't recommend this game, if you are someone who gives up quickly. At the beginning, the game is VERY hard and all mechanics are only learnable through trial and error. But if you are willing to take the time to learn the mechanics and die over and over again, you should definitely at least check out HIMNO. It always makes me so happy, when I get home safely with a lot of cool stuff I won't lose and can use next round. Although HIMNO has a few bugs and other issues, it's a really cool and even relaxing game!

Just try it out! Download the Demo, and see if it is something for you!

This is the most raw game I enjoyed, it's definitevely in it's baby steps still, but the core of what it does is actually good, movement feels fluid, exploring is fun and the beauty of the visuals and the music makes for a really relaxing atmosphere, so far the game major weakness is variety, but as it is in alpha thats expected

This is a great game with wonderful ambiance. I played the Demo, and was super excited when this was released. Playing through it is fun and not too challenging, though there is always the risk of losing it all with a death. I have 100% of the achievements, and can't wait until the game is further developed, so I can go back and enjoy new content. Not a very long game, and can get grindy if you're looking for specific materials, but it's one of my favorites. I would highly recommend if you don't mind the occasional grind, and you like roguelike platformers. Otherwise, this might not be the best purchase for you. Himno: TSM is a fun, laid-back combat platforming game with rogue-like elements. The hints of lore, unique ambiance and active development of the game keep pulling me back just to enjoy another run.

TL;DR: Very nice little hidden gem! NEEDS more attention. Absolutely worth the price, sunk 33 hours so far at time of review. Odd little mix of roguelike and persistent progression. Exploration focused, somewhat challenging platforming, very punishing bullet-spam combat. So far I've enjoyed it, though I wouldn't classify it as the pinnacle of gaming yet. Depends on what other content is added.

It's odd because it has a persistent base world you can store equipment in and customize, but the rest is very roguelike - you take whatever you decide to bring with you to these realms; you have limited ways to return to the home-area with all your stuff intact, the only guaranteed one being beating a boss. Death returns you to base with no stuff except yellow gems - aka money; which are only used at occasional vendors in you find exploring. So essentially you can choose to stow your stuff and come back kitted out after farming a bit which I'd say is required to beat the extremely punishing bosses. Otherwise, it's a mostly chill - occasionally incredibly stressful - little exploration platformer. Can't wait for more

Be forewarned; the first judge (major boss) can be extremely hard (seemingly unbeatable without powerful equipment). Practice the fight with some throw-away weapons a few times first, then I highly recommend farming the first few levels and bosses; stock plenty of health potions; and get a good bow or other range weapon well upgraded; a shield or other good equipment is a must. Use X to auto-target shots to get dashes in easier (or change the control scheme off default, but you'll be limited to octo-directional dashing). If you haven't noticed, your dash has i-frames. I've yet to try controller, the game may actually be easier with it.

As someone who definitely spent more than 10 hours in the original game (it takes a while to get to district 250) I can say with confidence that this is better. One small problem I have is the complete and utter lack of a tutorial, but the game is in alpha so that doesn't matter. The progression is slightly finicky but despite that It is good. I have been having a blast with it, no I'm serious, help me, I haven't played anything with my friends since I bought this, I already cleared all the current bosses but I am still trying to figure out THEGODDAMNPOWERSYSTEM so I can upgrade my sword and backwheel to even ungodlier levels. 10/10 would reduce my social life to ash again.

P.S. - backwheel is absolutely broken, please keep it that way.

P.P.S - good gam yes, verr good gam, bes gam

P.P.P.S. - enemies are a bit repetitive and the turrets in the ice area are the bane of the entirety of my existence, please dev I am B E G G I N G you please add more types and/or just more enemies in the future, I wanna run from a massive horde of robo-worms, with this godly movement system.

I am... (I won't dare say it) a fan of this publisher.
It all started with the fact that I just found a site where I could take part in the drawing of games and by the way a couple of them won ;)
Then I found out that the studio puts out their own games and got interested in them...
I can not in my opinion about Himno praise such games as: Fantasy Blacksmith or Garbage or Little Dungeon Stories. These are interesting games that amazed me (I bought them only at a huge discount of at least 50%) but now we are not talking about them... I just wanted to tell you that I have something to compare it to. Himno reminds me two of my favourive games - Terraria and Enter the Gungeon, combined together and with new additional mechanics. And that's the main reason why Himno appeared in my collection. I especially liked the UI and the inventory/crafting system in the game, it looks very cool. The combat system and music are just as good. But the bosses could have been added more. In the end, I would like to say that if you like roguelike games, then this game is exactly for you!

Great game to add to the collection and worth every cent
Movement is smooth and satisfying
Combat simple yet challenging
Death... inevitable and very costly!
Sense of progression is there, so far it seems like a slog, but I can see it getting easier as you get better at the game

Only negative so far is the lack of online Multiplayer.. plz mr dev man.. Love your game, would love to love it along with some distant friends

It's best played in short bursts, but if you just want to turn off your brain and relax, here's your chance. with only one goal: explore the districts and find their exits

????️ Gameplay
The game revolves around walking and jumping around the various districts. The districts are always procedurally generated, so no two districts will ever be the same. It’s a perfect choice, especially considering that the game is about exploration. The levels consist of both floating and moving platforms, surfaces that invite wall-jumps, teleporting and a layer of water at the bottom of the screen. Falling into the water at the bottom or getting destroyed by exotic creatures, hostile machines. are the only way to die.. That being said, falling into the water or getting killed by turrents or creatures causes you to restart your run. That can be a bummer, but it’s nice knowing that that’s the only way you can die.

Beautiful graphics, great variety of moves, awesome gameplay, and fascinating ost, everything of this makes Himno a very good game. Everyone will find something for himself, you want a chill exploring- ok ya got that, you wanna some good ol' enemies with their own patterns to fight- that's your lucky day then because they're also here! What can I say, at a pretty good price you'll get a game which will provide you hours of fun but also will get even more content with time. Definitely worth playing!

This is to increase awareness of the game:

This game is worth purchasing and playing; the atmosphere is so chill and interesting and the mechanics are great. I love moving around, collecting resources, and figuring out how to defeat the enemies. It doesn't pull what I consider to be a cheap trick with some roguelites where everything seems or is unbeatable, instead the first few sections are to get you used to the mechanical flow and understand what is expected of you in each level. If inclined, I may flesh out this review. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

The silent melody adds a lot of interesting mechanics to the core of the first game. You still go platforming through levels with great atmosphere but now there is a sense of progression outside of them, since you have a base which you can change however you want and a character that can also evolve through items and upgrades. There is also combat, looting and crafting added seamlessly to the levels so there are a bunch of different ways to enjoy the game.
