Howl ist ein rundenbasiertes, taktisches, auf klassischen Märchen beruhendes Spiel, das im Mittelalter angesiedelt ist. Allein in einer Welt, die von einer Heimsuchung geplagt wird, die Menschen in Wölfe verwandelt, spielst du als gehörloser Prophet im Angesicht der Gefahr auf der Suche nach einem Heilmittel.

Benutze deine Waffen und deinen Verstand, um zu überleben, und plane bis zu sechs Schritte voraus, um deine Gegner zu überlisten. Während du deinen Angriff planst, schreibst du auch deine eigene Prophezeiung und erstellst während des Kampfes ein fortlaufendes Skriptum.

Die Grafik von Howl wird durch „lebendige Wasserfarbe“ erzeugt, einem einzigartigen Art Style, der die Geschichte während des Spiels in Echtzeit malt. Bahne dir deinen Weg durch eine dunkle Märchenwelt – kämpfe und schreibe, um das Land von der Plage zu befreien.

After two hours of playing I feel pretty done with the game, on one hand I enjoy how basic and simple it is but on the other hand it gets repetitive fast. I have a lot of content left but I'm just not hooked enough to continue.

The art is great and the actual turndesign is awesome, there is logic to all the movement which makes it possible to plan ahead. You can choose to either play it with assist-mode (easier because it gives you all the info for free) or to figure out how enemies will move by yourself. If you make a mistake and die you can just restart, the game is fast and doesn't waste your time.

For me the two hours I spent in the game was alright but frankly the game was not worth my time.

A fascinating little tactics game with simple but fun game mechanics, beautiful art style and an intriguing story line. Plus the game has 4 whole chapters, which is far more content than what I expected from a game of this price!

Great game.

Art is great, the mechanism are simple but the combination are not so much.
The level are great, challenging yet feasible. The difficulty is well balanced for me.
So yes I recommend this game.

Took me around 9h to finsh the game.

Fun puzzler with a nice art style and music. You can fully complete the game and all achievements in under 10 hours. By the end, that felt like a good length for this one. Give it a try.

This is a solid little puzzle game with a really nice and distinctive visual style. It provides enjoyable problem-solving without veering too egregiously into sheer trial-and-error, and it doesn't overstay its welcome.

There's not much to the story, it could have done a better job of explaining its enemy mechanics, and it probably doesn't have much if any replay value, but it was definitely worth the five bucks I paid for it.

Relaxing and cute puzzle/strategy game;
I really like the style as it is quite cute! I think the prize tag is absolutely justified as the fairy tale esque presentation is very nice and overall I'm having a good time playing this- just don't expect the most complex game possible
