In the game you can slip into the role of a hero, who you can choose from 4 character classes. At the beginning you have to decide whether you want to start as a magician, warrior, assassin or semi-demon and within the class you can still choose your fighting style.

You are already ready to explore the world of Pangaeu. Unfortunately the glory days of security and unity are over and you are destined to protect a kingdom of your choice against the darkness and the enemy realm.

Whether you start in Caratas or Jerro, you will explore and conquer numerous maps with thousands of other players. You will fight your way through hordes of monsters alone or in a team and explore the world and history of Pangaeu. Your decisions will affect the course of the game, so choose wisely!
Various runs and dungeons await you.

Throughout the game you will be guided by quests that will give you an insight into the past, present and future of Pangaeu. The game story will be entangled across the realms and those who watch out will notice some Easter Eggs.

Can you find the missing realms? Save the baby from death? Reconcile the quarreled families? Conquer the hidden dungeons?

War für die Zeit echt cool mal wieder dieses Metin2 Feeling zu haben. Es Spielen aber zu wenig Leute, was ja logisch ist. Auf Dauer packt es einen aber nicht so wirklich. Der ein oder andere wird sich da aber wieder finden. Am liebsten wäre mir ein Metin2 wie früher nur mit besser Grafik :)

Nein, einfach nein anfang schien es gut zu sein aber es wirkt sehr leer und unfertig ab lvl 21 kein quest oder liebe mehr in denn spiel

Ich danke euch dass ihr eine alte Klasse wieder aufblühen lasst. Ich habe zu meiner Kindheit Jahre bei Metin2 verbracht und es ist komplette Nostalgie so ein Genre wieder spielen zu können.
Ich finde die Risse gut gelöst & auch die Droppwerte von Gegenständen und Gold. Natürlich wird das nach und nach gepatched ( weils schon echt ne Menge ist :D ) aber feier ich sehr.

Natürlich gibt es da und dort Bugs, aber es ist ja aktuell bloß eine Early Access daher verzeihbar :D

- was ich mir wünschen würde, dass es viel mehr Quests gibt, denn aktuell gurkt man noch mit Aufträgen rum, wo man nur bestimmt Monster killen muss. Eine Story wäre schön und die Städte anders gestaltet. Nicht so eingeengt und in Häusern versteckt.

Aber an sich fühle ich das Spiel und spiele es gerne weiter. Freue mich allerdings mehr wenn das Spiel tatsächlich RICHTIG raus kommt.

Inferna ist ein Spiel das deutliche Referenzen und Spieleigenschaften von Metin2 übernommen hat. Wer sich dort auskennt wird auch hier einem sehr schnellen und vor allem guten Einstieg haben. Es steuert sich nahezu 1:1 gleich und auch viele Gameplay Mechaniken hat man so auch nachgebildet. Achtung!: Das ist nichts schlimmes, ich bin ein Fan der gegebenen Möglichkeiten.

Allerdings ist Inferna ein Spiel dem man noch deutlich anmerkt, dass es noch in der Entwicklungsphase ist.

Schlechte Performance gehört hier leider noch zur Tagesordnung, über Frame-Einbrüche, seltene Crashes und generell schlechter Performance im Vergleich zu Genre Kollegen und teilweise merkwürdige Grafik (z.B. Namen von NPCs im Gebäude, da die Decke zu Tief ist und Frisuren und Ausrüstung an sich machen aktuell noch einen Platzhalter Eindruck).

Daher kann ich das Spiel auch definitiv an Leute weiterempfehlen die kein Problem mit: Grinding, Keine/Irrelevante Missionen und schlechter Grafik haben.

Der gebotene Ingame-Shop bietet aktuell nur Gegenstände kosmetischer Natur, die für meinen Geschmack aber viel zu teuer sind. So hat sich der anfängliche Gedanke die Entwickler so zu unterstützen schnell verflüchtigt. Geringere Preise sorgen gerade dann für mehr kleine Käufe, was sich auch lohnen kann. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass bei solchen Apotheker Preisen regelmäßig zugeschlagen wird.

Wer bereit ist diese Kompromisse zu gehen, oder sogar so etwas sucht hat definitiv ein Spiel gefunden, dass er mit Freunden oder Solo über mehrere Stunden hinweg spielen kann.

Vergesst bitte nicht (EARLY ACCESS) !
-Der vergleich mit Metin 2 ist durchaus berechtigt da die mobs immer zu dritt unterwegs sind man mit der Leertaste angreift und man gezielt viele mobs töten muss.
-Was viele bemängeln ist das man immer nur Monstern xy töten muss aber jetzt mal GANZ ERNST! in welchen MMORPG musst du nicht ständig mobs töten? Nein, man läuft von ort xy zu ort xy oder man quatscht meisten nur unnötig rum was sowieso ALLE nur skippen und man nur spielen will. Ich finde nicht das ein MMORPG ein gute story braucht.
//Was ich genial finde://
-Es ist sehr übersichtlich alles. Das Menü das Inventar die skills und man lernt in paar stunden jede wirklich wichtige Mechanik und weiß wohin die reise geht im spiel.
-Das Schmieden und verzaubern der Waffen und Ausrüstung! Du kannst Theoretisch schon mit Level 1 Schmieden und Verzaubern was mega einfach gestrickt ist! Gold und Stuff die du bei Monstern findest und zack verbesserst deine Lieblingswaffe und beim nächsten mal kommst du stärker zurück geiles Gefühl :D.
-Status punkte! Es gibt 4 verschiedene Stats die man nach jedem Level selbst verteilen kann Vitalität, Intelligenz,Stärke,Geschicklichkeit. So kann man seine klasse nach seinen Bedürfnissen noch mal angepasst werden. Wo gibt es sowas noch?
-Man kann selbst sehr viele hilfreiche Einstellung in den Einstellung einstellen was auch mega ist. Zum beispiel ob es immer tag ist :D finde ich persönlich besser ^^ NPC namen anzeigen lassen und die größe verändern schön durchdacht! ^^
-Es gibt so genannte ''Risse'' die, wenn du nah genug bist eine kleine Horde Monster beschwört die du erledigen musst. Das bedeutet extrem viel loot wenn man es schafft und Erfahrung!
//Verbesserung und schlechte Sachen://
-Wenn man stirbt, muss man 10 Sekunden warten und man kann an Ort und stelle wiederbelebt werden und direkt weiter kämpfen, OHNE VERLUSTE! Mag zwar Anfänger freundlich sein, aber viel zu einfach und man hat einfach 0 Herausforderung. Was schade ist.
-Vielleicht sollte man dann Ausrüstungs Haltbarkeit einbüßen wenn man stirbt? Leider gibt es sowas wie Haltbarkeit nicht. Ich finde das gehört einfach dazu :D
-2 Skillleisten unten!!!!! nicht nur eine! Man kann zwar wechseln jederzeit aber dies finde ich zu umständlich.
-Der Shop ist VIEEEEL zu teuer! Ich würde mir gern ein pet kaufen und auch so das spiel zu unterstützen aber wenn ich sehe das der große weiße Tiger knapp 70€ kostet möchte mein Mund gar nicht mehr zu gehen vor staunen! Das ist ein neues Tripple A Game titel preis! Gutes Spiel hin oder her aber macht es ein wenig Attraktiver!
-Ich würde mir mehr Events auf der Map oder gerne kleine dungeons wünschen, die man auch alleine absolvieren kann um klein wenig Abwechslung zu bringen.
-Eine bessere Lebensanzeige. Ich wünsche mir eine Lebensanzeige direkt über den Kopf der Monstern und bei mir um so eine bessere Übersicht zu haben!
-Berufe ins spiel zu bringen wäre eine coole idee um so mehr vielfalt im spiel zu haben.

-The comparison with Metin 2 is entirely justified because the mobs are always three of them, you attack with the space bar and you have to kill many mobs.
-What many complain is that you only have to kill monsters xy but now VERY SERIOUS! in which MMORPG do you not have to kill mobs all the time? No, you walk from place xy to place xy or you mostly just chat around unnecessarily which EVERYONE just skips and you just want to play. I don't think an MMORPG needs a good story. the game just gets it right and skips the part of the unnecessary talk.

- Everything is very clear. The menu, the inventory, the skills and you learn every really important mechanic in a few hours and you know where the journey is going in the game.
-The forging and enchanting of weapons and equipment! Theoretically, you can forge and enchant what is super easy at level 1! Gold and stuff that you find in monsters and zack! improve your favorite weapon and next time you come back stronger cool feeling :D.
-Status points! There are 4 different stats that you can distribute yourself after each level vitality, intelligence, strength, dexterity. So you can adjust your class again according to your needs. Where else can you find that in other mmorpgs?
-You can set a lot of helpful settings in the settings, which is also cool. For example, whether it is always daytime :D personally, I think it's better ^^ display NPC names and change the size nicely thought out! ^^

-2 skill bars below !!!!! not only one! You can change at any time, but I find this too cumbersome.
-The shop is MUCH too expensive! I would like to buy a pet and support the game, but when I see that the big white tiger costs 70 € my mouth doesn't want to go out in amazement! This is a new Triple A Game title price! Good game or not but makes it a little more attractive!
-I would like to see more events on the map or small dungeons that you can do alone to add a little variety.
-A better life gauge. I would like a life display directly above the monsters' head and with me so that I can have a better overview!

There should be jobs like blacksmithing, collecting, fishing, etc.

An sich ein schöner Nachfolger zu Metin 2. Aber nach über 200 Spielstunden habe ich es nicht geschafft. Einen Gegenstand höher zu machen, als +6. Teils muss ich bis zu 50 Ausrüstungsgegenstände zum Schmid bringe, damit mir überhaut etwas auf +4 - +6 gelingt.
Somit ist es keine Langzeitmotivation, Wochenlang immer an einer Stelle zu farmen, um am Ende alles zu schrotten.
Schlimmer aber, dass es sogar bei den lvl 36 Waffen auf +7 einen Gegenstand braucht, von dem es nur ein Monster gibt, dass alle 15-20 Min erscheint und nur einmal den Gegenstand erwirbt, jedoch 8 braucht für einen Versuch.

Kein pay to win. Aber es ist schon ziemlich deprimierend, wenn es heißt, beim Upgrade hat man eine 80% Chance und erst nach 16 versuchen gelingt. Zudem die Gegenstände dann immer gleich verschwinden.

Das gleich kann ich zu allen anderen Upgrademöglichkeiten auch sagen. Egal ob 90 oder 10%. Für alles hat man gefühlt 10 - 20% und man musst teils den ganzen Tag farmen für die Versuche, die am Ende eh misslingen.

Da spielt man doch lieber wieder Metin 2.

An sich sieht das spiel interessant aus, ist ausbaubar , die Steuerung und das die Kamera nachschwenkt sind Katastrophal, ich werde nochmal reinschauen ,allerdings kann ich es noch nicht empfehlen

Dieses Spiel hat Potential und hat viele gute Inhalte von Metin 2 übernommen und eigene Ideen mit reingebracht. Aktuell hat es aber für höhere Level kaum Content und wenig Langzeitmotivation. Es gibt ne Menge Updates und einen überteuerten Itemshop. Das Spiel brauch noch etwas mehr Zeit und Content und kann dann zu einem richtig geilen Spiel werden. Würde auf jeden Fall empfehlen, dem Spiel auch jetzt schon ne Chance zu geben, besonders als ehemaliger Metin2 Spieler

Am Anfang mag es evtl. verwirrend sein, aber Inferna ist an sich ein super Spiel. Ich bin gespannt, wie es sich in Zukunft entwickeln wird.

Also die Roadmap für 2020 / Q2 klingt ja vielversprechend ,es wird zwar jede Woche gepatcht ...nur leider ist bist dato sogut wie nix davon umgesetzt.
In jetztigen Zustand ist das Game allenfalls ne bessere Demo....es gibt außer bissl grinden um relativ zügig auf 60 zukommen dann einfach nix weiter zutun.(Material farmen lohnt auch nur bedingt ,da derzeit kaum jemand da ist der es einem überhaupt abkauft)Immerhin wurde der Itemshop fix mit neuen Mounts usw. zu utopischen Preisen aufpoliert...irgendwie geht die Reise da in falsche Richtung.

Leider mehr ein Metin2 Imitat als eine Fortführung. Die Grafik ist okay, das Gameplay schnell eintönig und undurchsichtig.
Ingame Shop überteuert. Man hat nur wenig Gefühl von Fortschritt.

Also diese Spiel ist Hervorragend es ist eine ab gewande Version von Metin 2.
Vom Grundbaustein ist es eigentlich wie ein Metin 2 Server Files nur von Grund auf überholt des heißt neue Client,Map´s ,Charaktere, Waffen, Reittiere, Haustiere usw
Stats Metin gibt es Risse zum Kloppen.

Was mir aufgefallen ist was Gleich ist:

Seit langen habe ich auf so was gewartet
Grafik: um vieles besser
Steuerung: identisch

Vergleich
Positive:
-Besseres Level System etwas einfacher( Cira 80 Spiel Stunden = Erkunden + Level hab ich etwa Lv44 erreicht)
-Bessers Schmid
-Bessere Grafik
-Charakter kann man Persönlich gestallten
-Bessere Drop und Mob System
- Ohne großen auf wand bekommt man Reittier net so wie in Metin 2 des man kack quest machen muss
-Günstiges ingame Haustier so wie Reittier für ingame gold
-vereinfachter Shop system
-Gibt kugeln zum Pullen für ingame gold
-vereinfachtes verzauberung für ingame gold
-Momentan net so viele Quest was ich persönlich besser finde

Und vieles mehr
Des ist meine Persönliche Meinug auf dieses Spiel auch wenn es grade mal in der Beta ist ,ist es schon Perfekt, was ich nur so hoffe des es sich nicht so sehr verändert und es zum größten teil so bleibt wie es ist.

Probiert es selber einfach aus wenn ihr damals Metin 2 geliebt hab wird ihr des hier lieben :D

Ab lvl 15 pro lvl ein Quest habe gelevelt bis 23 in der Hoffnung ob da vll neue Quests kommen (Fehlanzeige) ab lvl 23 kamm nichts mehr
Wer nur Farmen will kann sich das antun ich brauche in einem MMO abwechslung ich denke daran wird sich in diesem Spiel auch nichts ändern
Töten,Neue Rüstung,Töten Neue Rüstung und das geht dan immer so weiter *Langweilig*
werd in ein paar Monate vll auch in nem halben jahr mal reinschaun falls das spiel noch existiert ^^.

Großes Potenzial hat das Spiel, Angelehnt an Metin2 Es gibt quasi KörperKrieger und Mento mit Aura kampfrausch Etc, für Early Acces ganz gut, lohnt sich zu testen wenn man Metin 2 mag und generell Mmo Rpgs

Wer früher gerne Metin2 gespielt hat: Inferna ist stark an diesem Spiel angelehnt und funktioniert nach dem gleichen Prinzip. Allerdings sind einige entscheidende Änderungen enthalten: Anderes Design, aktuellere Grafik und auch das Gameplay ist etwas umfangreicher. So kann beispielsweise jeder F2P-Player jetzt auch sein Equipment verzaubern, ohen Geld investieren zu müssen.

Für alle Neulinge: Inferna ist ein mmorpg mit vorbildlichem Kampfsystem (einfach gesagt: Dort, wo man hinschlägt, trifft man auch, unabhängig ob da ein oder vier Gegner stehen) und man verbringt wohl die meiste Zeit mit dem Farmen von Rohstoffen und Gold zum Aufwerten des Equipments. Wer gerne 100te von Gegnern in der Minute erledigt, sollte dieses Spiel unbedingt testen!
Die Entwickler zeigen mit regelmäßigen Updates und Forenpräsenz ihre starke Motivation, dieses (noch im early access befindliche) Spiel stetig zu verbessern und ich bin schon gespannt, was alles in den nächsten Monaten an neuem Content implementiert wird. Kann es beherzt weiterempfehlen. Wer allerdings ein komplett fertiges Spiel erwartet, sollte lieber noch etwas warten, da es sich wie gesagt noch im early access befindet.

Das MMORPG der Zukunft. Ich feier das Hardcore. Wöchentliche Updates machen das Spiel TOP ! Freue mich schon auf den offiziellen Release. Die Entwickler sind total nett im Discord. Empfehle ich jeden der auch Metin2 gefeiert hat. 10/10

Also mir gefällt das Spiel sehr :) Erinnert mich an Metin2, was ich in meinen früheren Jahren sehr gesuchtet habe :D

Ihr müsst bedenken, dass das Spiel noch in der Early-Access-Phase ist und von einem kleinen, neuen Team vertreten wird.
Da muss man selbstverständlich mit leben, dass nicht alles 100% fehlerfrei ist und das Konzept noch ausgearbeitet wird.

Ich finds sehr gut, dass das Team auf die Spielerwünsche eingehen und bekannte Probleme in kürzester Zeit angehen :)

Sehr frühe Alpha-phase - Klar gibt es da Bugs und hin und wieder Laggs
Aber hier mal ein dickes, dickes Danke an das ganze Inferna-Team, man merkt jeden Tag kommt ein neues Update der den Spiefluss sehr viel smoother macht und ich freue mich auf weitere Updates-
-Ein Kindheitstraum wird wahr...

Game is centered around item mall. Each player is forced to have alts to farm lower level materials for making items because you level past mobs and then get no loot from them, but still need what they drop to advance items. Plus each alt needs a mount and a pet, which of course, come from the item mall.

Basically unplayable. i got to lvl 11 and gave up.

There is a lot wrong with the balance and mechanics of this game that make it extremely frustrating to play. Mobs respawn in a few seconds, causing you to be unable to clear the rooms in the crypt, so you basically just get stuck clearing the same room forever until you die. The crypts should be a 'dungeon', aka, an instanced zone that you/your party can clear out, where if you want things to respawn, you leave and then come back again.

Why is the whole place so filled with mobs that respawn in 10 seconds? it's too much to handle at any given moment in time.

As a rogue, my abilities felt totally pointless - it was better to auto attack enemies than use abilities for the most part. Becoming invis was okay though, that is pretty cool. WHY do enemies still attack you for a short time after going invis? this shouldn't happen, invis is invis.

There is potential for something here, but at the moment, it is far from playable.

beware of this game.. company that made this game copied name from other Cyprus company. Also if you check this company on linked in, you can see that 2 employees are actually the same person.. and the third one is so unprofessional/lazy that her profile details arent even in english language.. also the company details are suspicious too..

and to the game.. its just a Pay to Win extremely boring metin - like game.. many copied assets from metin 2 and made even worse than in the original metin, lol.. never going to play this again. 0/10 worst MMO ever, move along, nothing to see here.

By the way.. 30 euros for 7 days pet which adds 5% speed boost? HAHA. SCAM

There is very few quest, the game just give go and kill this many mobs come back. repeat Nothing attacks you unless you walk into a rift or attack first. real boring game, nothing like Guild wars or Everquest or even WOW

Pretty lame for today's standards but considering it was made by 3 people and is continuing to be developed then perhaps it could be up to some peoples' tastes.

For me though, I've played too many good MMOs to sit here for another 5 minutes pressing space to attack, not having a jump button (even if you can't jump onto things, jumping randomly in town with people IS a necessary MMO staple) and having to click to pick up things, underneath tall grass, which also moves you, when WASD works; all of these are pretty annoying.

This game replicates what Metin 2 does, in every way, you can call it Metin 3;
- The damage numbers are the same
- The mounted combat is important and the only way to grind
- There are rifts instead of metins
- Mouse click to move
- Same questing system
- Same enchanting system
- Same vendor & storage system
- Same character skill & stats & inventory system
- Same keybinds for almost everything
- Even the fkin player-market system is the same

But besides it being a perfect replica, it feels like a cheap mobile game.
It has a major memory leak problem at the moment, after playing for 30-40 minutes the game starts to lag exponentially and crashes.
It's the grindy eastern formula, this game is for very specific people and if you are not one of them you will just play this for 10 minutes before getting bored out of your mind.
There is also very little information about the game in the internet so good luck.

WARNING: The game is a FurMark test that lasts as long as the client is open even if you're in the character selection screen. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if someone finds a miner in their client

I played this game before i got a new GPU on an RX 570 now on RX 5500 XT both couldn't handle playing the game on high graphics inside towns :)

Game seems to have improved since I last played it
So I launch the game again today and go to the character customization screen (new one) it looks nice and many options are there which is a plus

I enter with my old character in town where there are about 15-20 other players (markets not actual visible players with armor)

MY fps is 15 :) on High settings
Keep in mind i'm playing on an i7-8700K and an RX 5500 XT both are very capable pieces of hardware

I bring it down to medium and i'm running on 30-40fps in empty areas finally
I try to go outside the town to grind, I meet a larger amount of players on my way out which crashes my client :) not a game bug but because my GPU was being stressed to 83C :)

The game is nice but doesn't compare to the dead game it's trying to copy
The devs are too busy adding a lot of useless systems and cashshop items they forgot to do basic optimizations to make their game run a bit smoother on 60FPS at least

I do not recommend this game at it's current state, maybe when it comes out of Early Access (I remember someone saying in 2024) maybe then it will be optimized just enough for it to not stress test my GPU every time I launch it

just a bad copy of metin2, not too user friendly, skills and characters are the same as metin2 but with different names, bad npc placement (the store keeper is on the opposite map of the smith, and a shop for every different item type) the missions are bad you can just skip them and you don't waste time on them, no way to directly transfer items between characters on the same account,
the 15 lvl +5 items you get in the first dungeon are good until lvl 36 so don't waste money on upgradingg

Game is not very good. Spawn rate is crazy fast, cant even explore a dungeon. Buggy as hell, and the targeting system sucks. You cant see who your targeting and you have to click on a monster to auto attack. otherwise you just stand there

The game is playable and fun if you like mindless bashing, like myself, but the itemisation is just aweful.

To upgrade your items to a certain point, you'll be asked to bring gold and materials. Those materials are droped by pretty much each and every monster of the game and each type of monster has it's own material. A young fox will not have the same material as a normal fox, for example.

Where's the problem? Well, if the items you're asked to bring are droped by a monster which is 15 level below yours, (turns out it's doomed to be the case for pretty much every set of armors/weapons past lvl 15 because it was designed like that, it's intended!) you can't get them yourself because anything that is 15 level+ below your level just won't drop anything anymore. You either make an alt (one will definitely not be enough though) or buy those items from other players - assuming anyone is selling them - knowing that they will be overpriced. I had a look at the last tier of equipment you can get in the game (lvl 56) and most of the materials required to upgrade it are droped on lvl 20-30 monsters. It doesn't make ANY sense. One of the dev said it will be reworked but, as of now, it is just ruining the game for me. The fact that you can get to max level with a lvl 8 overly upgraded set of armor/weapons proves that this system just doesn't work at all.

Also, monsters can drop chests which can be opened with keys you must buy in the cash shop to get skins. Ok, a bit weird to use a mechanic you'll mostly find on FPS games but, why not? In FPS games, though, even if you don't get the skin you wanted, you can still use whichever skin you got. In this game, a chest will drop a skin for a single piece of item out of : 4x 2 armor sets (5 pieces/set), 4x 2 weapons (2 per class). You roughly have 25% to get anything useful for your class, then a 50% chance that the skin is for the item level you're currently using because there's two different item levels in the same chest. What the heck is this?

The game is awesome. It took me a few hours to get used to everything and i'm realy glad i stuck to it. The game is absolutely wonderful for my taste. I would recommend everyone to at least spend 4-5 hours to get used to the game. The comunity is friendly, you can always ask a question in the global chat and you will get an answer. Even though the game is still in development, the devs are doing a marvelous job in updating, balancing and making the game better, respect! What i love about the game, is that you don't need to commit your full concentration to it to play it. For the ones that love min-maxing their characters, you will have that here also. The game has depth for the ones that love to squeeze out the max out of their chars AND also offers a very satisfying experience of completion to the casual players. There is no pay2win in the game, the item shop only offers cosmetics to the players that want to buy things with real money and support the developers.

I strongly encourage people to give the game an honest few hours before deciding to continue to play or stop completely. The game will only get better and more beautiful.

Hi, like I've promissed in my feedback for Aplha - I'm keeping an eye on the progress, and here are my thoughts about it so far:

Well, it's definately a progress since the early Aplha (nice to see frequent updates, and the actual improvements in the textures, graphic, animation); but...

> The perspective is still strange. The optical distortion is not fixed, and that is a huge problem (at least for me).

> Some models (NPC) have a distinctive borders of textures.

> Combat is still a bit clunky.

> Character movement need an improvement, the running animation is like a meme.

> Some weapon models also look like a meme (for example a short sword), while some others are quite well made (like a daggers).

> Character customization. There's a huge improvement in that regard, but hairstyles and hair textures need a hard re-work, forehead and eyes also need some more tweaking; rest is passable at this point (but overall - more textures, recollor possibilities, etc.).

I hate leaving a thumbs down for an indy dev...but....

So having played so many mmorpgs, and watching decent ones die, good ones die, and the bad ones struggle wither then die. A game like this just doesnt do much more than hook a small group and die off. This game in its current state has nothing i can see as a redeeming quality to it. Its a mmorpg made with free unity assets (probably not all but you get the idea) which sort of reminds me of all those free unity asset zombie games that popped up and all died off.

I really just dont know where to start with this, i know the devs take feedback well even if negative...

The movement needs work, its like this is a top down isometric game that somehow they jimmied the game engine to give 3D camera movement and WASD movement but its forced and the game seems to want to always revert to its isometric click to move orgins. It just feels awful to move.

Combat: it couldnt be more basic and rudimentary.

I cant speak for gearing and itemization as i just couldnt bother to play that long when the basics dont work and are not enjoyable.

If you are going to chase an ancient game, youll need to bring more than comparable graphics and a lesser combat system that what existed in 2005 when metin 2 inspired you. I honestly think you could buy a premade MMORPG from unity and just reskin it and it would be far better off than what currently exists....but then it would look like every other $3 game on steam.

I like the idea of a mob grind almost-arpg mmo but ive yet to see an example of a small indy dev team doing anything that improved over time when it comes to mmo games.

I want to believe but there is nothing here, unless you can get fluid movement, fun snappy combat, and good itemization to farm.

The game still has a lot of improvement to be done but it is going in the right direction.
I hope that the developer team never gives up on the game and that manages to create something like an updated metin2 and on a greater scale.
If the dev team is able to that I think the game will be successful in a great part.
That would be great for me and I believe there are some thousands of players that would love that too.
I suggest creating a Kickstarter campaign or a Patreon to collect funds for game improvement.

i mean i played metin2 a lot back in the day. i mean, trust me, A LOT..
So this game picked my interest and didn't fail to surprise me.
it is still a rough on the edges and i am sure they are updating regularly and improving day by day. so i have my hopes up.

It's a fun little game that operates similar to a Shroud of the Avatar or Elder Scrolls Online in terms of how zones operate. You get into a big area that has a town or locations to walk through and talk to NPC's or complete quests and then instanced areas that operate as dungeons or delves [easy dungeons able to complete solo or in group]. It is almost a successor to Metin2 in my opinion though Metin has more skills and content for gear and combat but this is an EARLY ACCESS game so don't outright cross it off your list. There is enough in the world to complete and the early game is like any mmo which gives you some base story and give you a few fetch and kill quests before you hit a level and new zone and then things get more serious. IMPORTANT- On top of clicking and click dragging you can WASD without changing options but I do go through what this click to move function adds and how it's more unique. The character creator is nifty for an indie mmo so you can customize your character on a more personal basis though eye and hair color is minimal but I can deal with that. Combat is like Metin2 where you auto attack or manual attack through the space bar and you have some basic skills that you need to level up for bigger damage. I haven't got to late game so I can't tell you if there are enough skills to get pass one skill bar but it's EARLY ACCESS so it's not a final decision. The mobs are plentiful and so is loot though you get loot in a way you may or may not be able to use or it's too weak but there are times where you get insanely great stats and the crafting/upgrading is just the standard across the popular MMOs out there. You can set up merchant stands like other older eastern MMOs [Metin2 and Onigiri come to mind] and collect major profits if you sell at the right price or good enough stats.

There are problems with this game that are minor or major depending on what you view as important. The mobs are plentiful but not varied when you start out so you will get sections of the zones of one kind of mob and they may range from [for example] Fox, Hungry Fox, Angry Hungry Fox. Though it may or may not be a huge problem later on the starter zone is set up like this though it does have a couple dungeons/delves to go through with many mobs but they are also challenging so it can be fun and helpful to burn heavily through levels to get you viable for the complex content. The map and click to travel is different than most MMOs where you can click or click and drag to move and the further your cursor to your character you will see a faint white dotted line that indicates the direction you go for more precision and you can click on the map and it will auto path you to the click [mini map or map screen] and it will navigate around obstacles and will go around buildings or rocks or mountains but if you click in game to walk it will just walk straight into objects and if it cant slowly slide around the geometry you might be stuck. For combat it doesn't seem too in depth but it also kind of is depending on how fast you can level, how fast you can learn, and how you play the game. You start with 6 skills at level 5 and have two choices of class types but they don't seem too different minus how the skills operate. You got a buff, a shield or health skill, and two AOEs and two single targets that may have splash damage. When attacking mobs they are group in threes so if you hit one you have two more charging and if you attack another in a different group you have 6. The cooldown is normal but most MMOs either have 1 skill with fast cooldowns on top of melee or you have many more skills to use to rotate so you survive and fight more. Not too big of a problem for the latter or a huge problem if you want more theatrical combat or faster combat. I don't have too big of an issue with armor being as every piece has a different look and there are quite a few that are obtainable in the beginning but my problem with gear are stats. Typically MMO merchant NPCs in the early game have the best gear to buy at a high-ish price and even the best quest reward or loot drop in world are equal too the best to buy or just below the best stat gear a merchant has but the third main quest you do in Inferna gives you a +3 weapon that beats every weapon the merchant has. I know it is upgraded but early game you can't upgrade right away and need to be like level 5 or 10 to get a decent base staff and the problem with upgrading comes back as it is really hard at the start. Though it is the start so it's not a fun ending issue so I can look pass that. Other than that I don't have too much of an issue with the game because I can let go the problems based off the build of the game and it being Early Access with plenty of updates which I think come every week. If you liked Metin2 or the feel of older more action packed Eastern MMOs I suggest playing this. It costs nothing but a couple hours of time before an honest conclusion can be made and I recommend it. If you enjoy the game you should think of donating or buying a premium item like a Pet or Mount. This is a first time players review. If information is inaccurate, let me know. If it is, then that is the games fault for not having a good UX.
After 30 minutes of playing, I finally hit level 5.
Why is this important? I picked the Wizard class expecting to deal massive amounts of damage with cool spells. That wasn't the case. I spent the first 5 levels (30 minutes) beating foxes and wolves with my staff and hands. You can't even begin to use magic until level 5.

So after 5 levels and half an hour of work, I got my first spell! FIREBALL! That was super underwhelming. My staff did more damage than any of the 5 spells I got. I put my 5 levels worth of stat points into Intelligence since it said it would increase magic damage. I don't even want to know what the base damage would be without those extra points.

Also anytime you interact with anything or any NPC, it makes this perverted inhale/exhale sound. I had to turn the sound off since it was so annoying.

This game needs a lot of work before I would consider playing it again. If I pick wizard, I don't want to act as a monk the first hour. The character creator needs a lot of work. I made my toon look great and when I got into the game, it wasn't at all what I picked.

It is so an emotional experience. For every Metin gamer is it a dream. Sure ist only in alpha and there is a lot to do. But every week after a patch you see a diference. And it gets better and better. Im enjoing every minute in the game. I realy love it. Just give it a try!

NOTE: You have to take this game for what it is when you decide to play or review it. This game is VERY obviously inspired by the METIN games of times past, and i think it does a good job at recreating that vibe. The game advertises that it's in early development and that's very obvious. There's a lot of annoying and tedious things which could be fixed with some simple quality-of-life updates, and as the game has been updated every week for the last several months I'm sure they will get around to the less important things soon.

Here's some feedback for the developers:

1. The camera is terrible. I understand having multiple movement schemes, but I think you should allow the character to choose between WASD/Click to move and have a special camera for each mode. It feels very clunky and somewhat ruins the experience.

2. Selling items is very tedious, please allow us to just group-select items that we want to sell.

3. Targetting and movement in PvP is very annoying, perhaps for the reason mentioned in #1. I think if the camera wasn't rotating as I tried to click on my target things would be fine.

I enjoy the game play and don't mind the grind, but the environment fills empty with little feeling of exploration at this time in the first few map areas I ventured too. I hope a better feeling of adventure is add to the game.

As somebody who played metin 2 a lot, I actually really enjoy this game so far. The major difference between metin 2 and this game is that this game is not even close P2W compared to M2 official server (for example, enchanting items can be done without using real money..). The graphic is different from M2 and I hope there will be some good looking items at higher levels. The progress in this game feels to be a bit faster compared to official M2 and i like it.

* There are only two things so far that bothers me. 1. skill effects need some work. 2. optimisation need to be a bit better. ( going to city is a bit too laggy)

In the end, if this game is made by only 3 developers, looking at their road map it looks like they are working hard. I wish them good luck and I hope that they will keep with great work. :)

This game IMO deserve more attention. I am in the beginning of my journey in Inferna and i can´t wait to explore more.

This game is a pleasant surprise. I just challenged another player to a duel and it was great fun (I lost). Combat is smooth for the most part and engaging. I was really surprised by how feature rich this game is with only a few developers. Lots of nice interface options. A few little tweaks and they could really have something here.

if you liked metin 2 this is what you are looking for, its early state of game but promising already, free to play without pay 2 win. you can get some little boosts with money but nothing exaggerated.

+a lot of fun farming and upping stuff
+a lot of fun trading and making money
+learning the dynamic economy for your advantage
+a lot of helpful players

it isnt about getting to the highest level but getting some good equip with maybe some magic buffs on it etc. it does not feel grindy since every 5-10 levels you can focus on farming other things. getting to know the market by farming things that are demanded is a lot of fun.

i really hope to see more of this game, with more dungeons more stuff to do, but it is in early access and fun already.

Metin3 VERIFIED!?!?

Please support and develop. Avoid much evolutions/Pay2win elements, keep it simple old school without any RNG pets or anything that will affect PvP etc.

This project has a future.. In good hands, It can be a gold mine!

Is this the futuristic Metin2? Is this the Unofficial Metin3? Yes, it is!.

GOOD, very similar with metin 2 ,it is a copy, has you can see in trailer , with some bugs in movement and a little slower the action, the graphics are better, making it slower, in old pc , degrade the graphics for a better performance ( you make the game normal but a little slower in comparison with metin 2) , but i think in general, its better that metin 2 , because has improved chance to drop stuff ,upgrade is a little easier, weapons it seems do more damage ,easier in general.
After level 25/28 , leveling starts getting a little harder , but i was watching videos of youtube of ppl level more that 50 and seems ok , there are maps that are free and other stuff of easy improvement to help, but of course ,game stars getting harder and slower to level.
More easy ,That metin 2 for sure ,and another thing ,don t have to pay to level like in metin 2 after level 60 or something ,that was a desgrace .
For pvp i don t try it yet , but maybe it is a little slower , not so good (perhaps, NOT SURE) or maybe you just need to degrade you graphics or maybe you need a better pc .( I don t try it 100% yet, so i don t know for sure.)
ITt is important to say, that i am comparing with metin 2 becaue its is a copy like and metin 2 in my opinion , evan with , bad staff ,THE GOOD make it ,the best mmorpg free ,by far that i ever play it , no one can compare it ,because the item upgrading , diferent armor, few skills with speed and good image,good kiling mobs control ,pvp in wars or solo ,opurtunity of battling ppl from diferent nations(from game) , and mutch more make it ,unike and the best.
Even if you try comparing with payed games i dont believe that there are better because as i said before ,the stuff you can do, in this game , you cant get, on other games .
