Thank you for playing JR EAST Train Simulator.
It took about one year from conception to implementation!
Today, Tuesday, May 27, we implemented a randomization of signal indications on 16 of the existing distribution routes!
Signal Indications Change for the Same Driving!?
For more information on signal indications, please check out the following!
[h3]【Until now】
The timing of the signal change by the preceding train was controlled based on pre-created data. However, because the signal present is always fixed, the timing of the signal change is the same no matter how many times you drive, and once you learn it, it has become uninteresting.
This time, we have added randomness to these changes, making driving more realistic by changing the timing each time the player drives.
【This update】
Because the delay of the preceding train is now a random event, the signal indications will change every time the same train runs on the same timetable (Due to randomness, delays may not occur)。 This allows players to enjoy different operating conditions for each play, even on the same schedule. Note that the same signal will not be displayed each time the train is operated in the delayed setting section, and it is not possible to redo the operation. Even if you select a station again from the pause menu during operation, a new signal opening time will be set.【Points of Attention】

【Major highlights of the route】
- Keihin-Tōhoku・Negishi Line:From Minami-Urawa,The train will catch up with the preceding train , increasing the number of times it approaches the pattern. This will be a test of your skill in braking without compromising riding comfort.
- Chuō Line Rapid Service: The 602H Commuter Special Rapid was originally jammed by the train ahead, but it has more frequent deceleration, caution, warning, and stop signals. More careful speed control is required by anticipating the train ahead.
- Senseki Line: The train ahead may be delayed to a degree not seen in the normal schedule, and the ATACS feature may cause the train to stop near the train ahead.
- Saikyō Line・Kawagoe Line: It is set up up to Ōmiya. It often catches up with the preceding train between Ōsaki and Ikebukuro.
- Keiyō Line: The player must avoid hitting the pattern as he/she will receive a caution or stop signal before Tōkyō Station.
- Nambu Line・Tsurumi Line: Because of the short interval between closing signals, the train is operated by watching and anticipating the signal ahead. Since the opening time of departure signals is not displayed at non-time check stations, player may have to wait a long time for the signal to open.
- Utsunomiya Line: The 3520M Rapid "RABBIT" is preceded by the "CASSIOPEIA" Sleeping Limited Express between Kuroiso and Utsunomiya and the "HOKUTOSEI" Sleeping Limited Express between Utsunomiya and Koganei, and may approach these trains. (Both are now out of operation) You can driving between the discontinued Sleeping Limited Express.
- Yokosuka Line: More often than not, you will be forced to stop before Musashi-Kosugi Station.
- Ōme Line: The train is almost jammed with trains ahead of it and cannot go very fast. Please adjust your braking to arrive at the time check station on time.
- Tōkaidō Freight Line: A change in signal indications can be seen from the Tsurumi to Musashi-Kosugi area.
