Das Game ist Atem beraubend, Das es so ein Game zu dieser Zeit gab, und Heute immer noch so gut aussieht, Spitze. Schade das es War of the Rosses nicht geschafft hat. Aber dieses Spiel ist eine Mischung aus Team Fortress und Red Dead Redemption. Oder auch ganz nah dran ist Fistful of Frags. Sieht auch ein wenig aus wie Borderlands für den Abend in einer spaßigen Runde immer ganz witzig. Nur um auf manchen Servern zu kommen brauchte ich den VPN von Windscribe. VPN Server Frankfurt... um mich mit dem Spiel Server zu verbinden, vorher konnte die Verbindung manchmal nicht hergestellt werden.

Sieht gut aus und würde sicher Spass machen - Punkte erobern und die Stellung halten. Zwei Server waren online, aber keine Spieler.

Nur zufällig habe ich das Spiel entdeckt und ich habe mich schon auf ein schönes Ballerspiel mit Western-Story gefreut. Das Spiel ist jedoch schon älter und so kam es, dass ich zwar nun dieses coole Western-Ballerspiel mein eigen nenne, aber so gut wie nie einer Online ist um zu Spielen.
Vermutlich macht das Spiel richtig viel Spaß. Ich denke, dass bei dem Preis das Spiel wohl kaum noch einer kauft. Mit free2play, könnte man sicherlich noch ein paar Spieler anlocken. So scheint das Spiel jedoch langsam in der Versenkung zu verschwinden.

Auf Grund der fehlenden Spieler, kann ich leider keine Kaufempfehlung geben.

Das Spiel ist ein reiner Multiplayer-Shooter im Western-Stil.

Ich kenne das Spiel nicht in seiner Zeit der Erscheinens (2010) sondern erst jetzt (ich weiss gar nicht mehr, wie ich es bekommen habe). Jetzt gibt es fast keinen Spieler mehr auf den Servern.

Daher kann ich nicht viel mehr sagen, als dass es wie eine schlichtere Variante von CoD aussieht. Wem das Western-Ambiente liegt, könnte dort vielleich Spaß haben.

Es gibt verschiedene Modi und Karten, wie aus anderen, ähnlichen Spielen und vier Klassen von Akteuren.

Momentan lohnt sich ein Kauf aber nicht. Es gibt nichts zu tun. Nur darauf bezieht sich die Wertung und (fehlende) Empfehlung.

Eigentlich ein schönes und gut zu spielendes Spiel.
Die Grafik ist gut und das Waffenhändlich fühlt sich gut an. Mehrere Klassen und ein paar schön gestaltete Map. Definitiv etwas für Wild-West-Ethusiasten.
Leider stirbt das Spiel einen langen, qualvollen Tod durch das Fehlen aktiver Spieler. Man wartet zum Tei leinfach Minutenlang auf ein Match, das man dann 1v2 auf einer 8v8-Karte Spielt.
Ich empfehle es trotzdem in der Hoffnung, dass mehr Leute im Sale zuschlagen und es vllt doch wieder mehr aktive Spieler werden.

Teilweise wenig Spieler. Eher nur durch die Werbung von Fatshark die 100.000 Keys verteilt haben. Ansonsten wurde das Game deswegen vor Monaten negativ bewertet.

Gut das es mehrere Spiemodis gibt, die alle Spaß machen. Auch paar Charakterklassen sind verfügbar.

In Lead and Gold kann man nur mittem in einem Match Ränge aufsteigen, die einen verstärken.
Sowas wie ein Klasseneditor gibt es nicht, oder ein Allgemeines Level aufsteigen wie in Call of Duty auch nicht. Also reines von 0 anfangen, was aber auch positive Dinge hat. Das jeder mit den gleichen Vorraussetzungen startet und mit den selben Waffen. Dieses System kann aber auf längere Zeit nach hinten los gehen, da es langweilig wird/werden kann.

Ich hatte auch einige Probleme auf Server zu kommen. Bzw es waren auch nur 3-4 Server da, aber kam nach paar Versuchen nur auf einen. Ich weiß nicht ob es an mir liegt oder ob es ein Problem vom Spiel ist. Hier werden Server von Spielern gehostet.

Im Angebot für paar Runden aufjedenfall cool, wenn genug Spieler online sind.
Was nach ein paar Monaten sicherlich nicht mehr so sein wird und wieder wenig Spieler online sein werden... Deswegen beim Vollpreis, Gameplay System und Spieleranzahl negativ. Alles andere ist top.

Spaßiger Wild-West-Third-Person-Shooter. Teamspiel wird hier besonders belohnt mit Boni die durch die Auren der Mitstreiter z.b. höhere Zielgenauigkeit oder höheren Schaden erlauben. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Ich gebe 4/5 Dynamitstangen.

Like a lot of reviewers have said before, no one is playing this anymore.
I did have the luck of finding a couple of players. It's not the same as playing a battle, but it's good enough to 'feel' the game.
It's not bad. It's very fast. The characters move fast, shoot fast and die fast. I died a *lot* of times.
And well it has cowboys. It feels refreshing to leave the Call of Duty settings once in a while.
I wouldn't recommend buying it with so few players, but I'm giving it a positive because it is a good game.

I bought it on the condition that it will have an active server but the game unfortunately does not have an active server it is dead the only way to play this game is if you are lucky and a friend has bought it if in the future the developer gives life to the game I will change my critique.

I have to agree with every other review of this game I've read. It seems like it could be amazing as a f2p game. otherwise, its completely dead and too simple/unrefined to justify spending money on it.

Dead multiplayer (with not many maps either).
There's no bot support (except for one awful survival mode in one map) and no single-player content.

Online Only and Dead Since 2011

This game was release on April 8th, 2010, and if you don't know it other than from the screenshots and video clips you might have looked up, you might think it would be a good buy. I myself have owned it since launch over a decade ago and although the game looks great and the gameplay is on point and enjoyable, it just never caught on and built an audience. It has a TF2 feel to it, different classes to play, a variety of playstyles apart from just a vanilla deathmatch, but something just never clicked with people and the game was essentially dead within a year. Even back then, in 2011, you could go onliine and see every server completely empty. And this being an online only multiplayer game, that makes it a complete waste of your time and money. Do not buy it and get something else instead.

PS- Steam related sites that show how many people are currently playing a given game, like SteamSpy, actually block people from seeing how many people are and have played so far today. The only thing you CAN see is that the average user has accrued 0 hours and 00 minutes of playtime in the last two weeks. Despite the attempt at obfuscation, the truth still shines through. There was no Rust-style revival, the game has been dead, and remains dead.

PPS- This is a re-print of a review I left myself on NewEgg.com on their digital store. They've listed the game as part of their digital game sales that activate on Steam and I kind of find their attempts to actively sell a game which essentially has zero value to be a bit obscene/offensive/infuriating. I don't know if the profit margin for the keys to the game are huge but even if NewEgg only has to pay back one cent of the $1.99 they are asking for I find it pretty sad/embarrassing-for-them/also-infuriating that they feel the need to stoop so low to make a couple bucks/a dollar ninety-eight.

Well, at it's time, I had a server for this. I was great fun, me and my friends played. It's a total shame the devels did not push this game more forward and build on this. As of right now, I think more people play Space Invaders (1988) then this. It's dead and abandon. I recommend waiting til this if FREE. Don't waste your cash.

Gameplay / Story

The principle of the game is that two small gangs each with five members compete against each other. You shoot the floppy hats off your sweaty skull with colts and shotguns, steal sacks of gold from the mine, blow up wells with powder kegs or take a predetermined sequence of strategically important points. So everything as you know it from somewhat older genre representatives like Call of Duty and what they are all called. A class can be selected when respawning; Each one has a custom-made weapon and a special ability: the western hero with slouch hat, e.g. can fire quick “fanning” bursts of fire with one hand over his Colt.

1-)Bring the game back to life for all the people who are ready to enjoy it. (We'd love you if you did this)

Pros-

#1.Good graphics

#2.Team oriented

#3.Some cool maps

#4.It feels like I'm in a western movie

#5.I like the 4 characters to choose from

Cons-

#1.No voice chat.The game came out in 2010 and this is a minimum requirement for multiplayer games in my opinion.

#2.There is not enough characters to choose from.I would of added a medic character that could be the only one who could revive and heal.I also would of added native american characters.I think it would be cool adding a bow and arrow character and a tomahawk throwing character to name a few.

#3.You are forced to be in 3rd person mode.They should of at least given the player the option to not choose that in the options menu.

#4.There is not enough servers and people playing the game online.I doubt this game will ever gain the popularity to change that in it's present condition.

#5.No taunts,no sprays and no clothing selections.There is not even a way to allow your character to talk to other characters for fun or strategy.I'm talking about when you push a button/key and than your character talks.Shooters from 2002 could do that.

#6. No story

The Bottom Line -

Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West could of been as good as Team Fortress 2.It could of easily been one of the best western shooter games ever made.In it's current condition it is half finished and shallow.I paid $5 on steam for it and it is worth about that.

This is an amazing game and is very fun to play, however literally no one plays this game anymore. make a smart move and go free to play, I mean it's been at least a few years and no one plays, so just put in an item shop so you make money.

I recieved this game for free yes. The developers gave a way a ton of codes. I was able to snag one. Now let me tell you, this is one of those games that you should actually check out. I have way to many games I got for free that I never downloaded that just sit in my games list. This is one you should check out. It is a very smooth gameplay. Character control can get a little buggy sometimes. But shooting is smooth, the game runs smooth. Imagine Red Dead Redemption MP remade with more of a cartoony graphics look. I would have to say.. Good job!
