Es ist Mortal Kombat. Man schlägt sich und darf den Gegner etwas auseinander nehmen (falls man es möchte).
Kann man mal gelegentlich machen.

Gutes Spiel, sogar besser als MK11. Schlechte Bewertung aufgrund von riesigen Gigabite großen Patches mit Werbeinhalten für Mk11 und der schamlosen Preisgestaltung von Spiel und Dlc´s. Soviel Respektlosigkeit gegenüber seinen Kunden verdient einen Boykott: Keine Warner Brothers Produkte mehr.

What is left to say about Mortal Kombat?
It's one of the best fighting game franchises worldwide. This one felt very dark and 'upgraded' the awesome MK9 and put in a far superior story mode and much more different towers and of course completely updated graphics to show even more brutality. (I still love MK9 and hope it comes back to Steam, so more people can play it.)
There are lots of cool (stage) fatalities, brutalities, special attacks, etc. so it has a HUGE replayability.
I can truly say I am addicted to the franchise and this was the first title I've played and it was on PS4 a few years ago. Of course PC has even better graphics and is much more fluent. (FPS)
I still enjoy it very much and there's often a sunday when there is time for 'another round'.

Played it mostly on PS4, absolutely spectacular addition to the franchise. The combos are way easier than in MK9, but allow for more creative freedom with all the variations available, not to mention the run mechanic. It has the best DLC characters by far with only a couple stinkers in the base-game roster (Ferra/Torr & Kung Jin, at least for me, are bland and not very fun characters). While I do in fact prefer MKX models over MK9 models, I think the gore looks a little too... wonky. Most wounds in the game don't even try to look realistic, they're just void-black holes cut out from the model (which looks stupid by the way). Blood spurts and gargling sounds make every fatality feel... bubbly, maybe rubbery even. It's like the characters are made of soap or foam. While I absolutely despise MK11, it has better fatalities by a longshot.
Everything other than the graphics in fatalities looks pretty solid.
Hit sounds are also amazing in this game. You can FEEL the weight of your punches and how strong your combos are.
Overall I consider MKX(L) as the last Mortal Kombat game to stay somewhat true to the OG Netherrealm formula. MK11 feels a bit too similar to Injustice 2...

Mortal Kombat 11 is great but X is easily better. The combat is so much snappier and combos have much better flow. The way the meter is balanced way better and actually fair, I often wonder why they even changed it. I also personally prefer the base roster and DLC fighters too. Can't go wrong with X or 11, but don't dismiss X over its age, it outshines 11 in a lot of ways.

Beat story mode in five hours, so good I couldn't put it down. Even doing the single fights are fun when you have nothing to do. Highly recommend even 7 years later.

if you like fighting games this is something that yes or yes you have to play, the combos that can be done are the most addictive, fatalities, etc etc, its story mode is quite well done, and to play with friends this is not may be missing

the game is very fun and the story is very riveting. But haven't had time to finish it because it's easier to control using a controller, and I don't have one yet. using the keyboard is very uncomfortable. but overall 9/10 fo this games

A wonderful fighting game that has a beautiful story

Mortal Kombat 11 has been out for several years now, and I still consider this game more fun, mechanically. Is it visually superior in presentation or aesthetic compared to MK11? Not necessarily, but visuals have never been deterministic when deciding if a game is fun or not in my eyes.

Just be prepared to get upset learning this game. It beats you down so fucking hard if you don't know what you're doing.

I give this game a no for a recommendation because it is just too sweaty. The buttons are a little easier than MK11 somehow and it is a bit more enjoyable because of that reason. I personally just can't see myself playing game all the time because... it's MK for cripes sake. It's just not my thing. And the graphics are so weird and way different than MK11. Not hating on it, just saying that they could do a rework or something but then that might ruin the whole game, I don't know

How in the world did this game come out before Mk11? Like, jeez. The graphics are so old and bad, lol. You can easily button mash in this game tho. Thats whats different between MkX and Mk11. Skill Gap. You don't need to learn how to play this game because its so easy. I would get this game for the sole fact that its goes down to like 4 dollars, and that's a nice steal. I definitely wouldn't pay 20 bucks for this, but pretty decent. I cant lie. For a game that came out years ago, you'd expect worse.

i have so much love for this game as i remember playing it on my xbox when it first came out. ive only played a couple of the mk games and i must say mortal kombat x is still my favourite overall and is my favourite fighting game i have played so far in my life, i would highly recommend getting this game. oh and also the x-rays and fatalities in this game are just BRILLIANT!!

Be me:

>Play only offline so your friends don't know you play MKX
>Achieve top 100 standing as Sub-Zero player
>Learn that Kano is better
>Play Kano until you hate yourself
>5k hours unmarked
>go to a meetup with friends for drinks
>They want to play MKX
>You don't tell them about your skill
>completely obliterate them with 4.8k hours worth of Kano skill
>They ask you how you got good at MKX
>You tell them you don't know cause you don't play a lot
>They check your hours and believe you are some sort of Mortal Kombat Prophet

10/10 would Kano Ball again

The game is great, but not as good as Mortal Kombat from 2011. A true shame Steam took it down and making us settle for lesser games such as this and 11. Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition is what I personally really want. If you agree, show Steam by liking my review. If you're allowed to do that.

perfect... This is how mortal kombat 11 should have been . Either fight back , or lose . you mash buttons and make mistakes ??? guess what you get beat up ! No hand holding , hard , challenging, takes a long time to master.

Ouh.. Awesome MK Edition with pretty brutal scenes, fatalities and brutalities which are really nice and nicey animated. However seeing the same animation sequences again and again, which are in addition interrupting the running fight could become boring sometimes. The game effects and physic is still nice, but therefore your system should have a pretty good performance. Taking the release date into the consideration, I'd say you would need ultra high performance if you'd bought it those times ;D).

The offline challanges are fine and you might have some real fun playing the gameplay, especially if you are a MK fan. Unfortunately the community feels like a rip of a couple ooold players, which are mostly really unfriendly to beginners and I after playing around 100 online matches I had only 1 or 2 competitors not have been playing around 5000h+ on that game They might even flame on noobs when they win. Just imagine the floods of some of them who lost against a noob like me XD

Nevertheless and especially for MK fans, I recommend to give this game a chance. It worth anyway and there is still a chance for me (if I keep playing) to meet some relaxed people to play with =)

Most important tipp, before you start playing and get used to play wrong. Take your time on the settings and do enough practice available in the training mode in order to learn basic movement, punches and kicks, combos, charactar special moves and attacks and basic techniques like holding distance, throwing, block, break combo. You will safe a bunch of time =)

This game had annoying ads for MK11 added.
They constantily pop up, and what is worse, if you want to play in oflline mode, you can't since the game is not being able to load the ads and it hangs waiting them (you wont be able to even reach the first menu).
You already own MK11? they'll pop up anyway.

After a bumpy initial roll out, the Faction Wars component seems to be mostly working as intended — though the reward for participating in faction-based battles feels like little more than a well-meaning distraction. Faction Wars just doesn't add a compelling reason to invest more time in Mortal Kombat X beyond the game's other competitive fighting modes.

-Online PvP : Pretty Bad Because of Extremely LONG wait time (in ASIAN servers)

Best looking Mileena yet. Sub-Zero is still chill af. I dig the new mechanics. Bug girl's design is wild and I hate her but in a good way.
Look, it's Mortal Kombat, you either like it or you don't. It builds on MK9 pretty well.

I used to enjoy this before the sequel got released. The story is one of the best in fighting games... the visuals, sounds, details are just delish. Now, it demands users to often download gigs of pointless updates and serves loads of ads about a game I can't get (restricted to be sold in the country due to local laws). Get MK11 if you can or the Komplete Edition prequel. I strongly recommend to pass this one.

Mortal Kombat in its glory days. The gameplay is fluid, although animations may seem clunky, To see what I am talking about visit SugarPunch Design Works on YouTube. However, great story and wacky combos make this a great 2D fighter to play.

TWICE i've had to download a 18gb update that does absolutely nothing but include adverts for MK11. You might not give a damn whether or not MKX gets bad reviews anymore, but you certainly wont be getting any money from me in the future.

well its finally come to this has it, the AD-Apocalpyse is upon us, just another useless update for MK X, that implements AD's now for MK 11, well thanks Nether realm and Warner Bros fuck heads, i just now went and uninstalled, plus you also ruined MK 11 by turning the game into a live service, now you ruin MK X with filling it with ADs for MK 11, fuck this game and fuck you

it was good before, thought of finally completing the story mode, but now they have added addition space just for ads for mk11. straight from 36gb(last time i played) to 73gb now. Will not recommend right now.

Mortal Kombat X spans across generations of combatants and conflicts across the realms. It's been years since I played a new story in the series but I will never forget certain characters and their values. The transformation of old rivalries into alliances and the rise of greater heroes is told in such a fantastic way. There is such a feeling of satisfaction in seeing beloved characters age and made whole as many have realized their true potential in both identity and purpose. The cutscenes are some of the best I have seen for a fighting game and the quick time events embedded in them actually give some feeling of control. Fighting is presented in a form that is familiar but manipulating the environment is one of the most clever additions that I noticed. The game frequently switches the framerate cap from 60 to 30 which can be a little jarring at first, but it never detracts from the experience. If you are looking for a true continuation of the series that taps into the heart of what Mortal Kombat is all about, then choose your destiny. Game on.

your opponent will enter a wavering state and the announcer will utter the immortal words: FINISH HIM.

Not as bad as mk11 as the gameplay part actually required you to learn the game and it didn't make fools of the fans as much but now they stuffed it full with mk11 ads with A 20GB PATCH. 20 GB FOR ADS.
Disgusting, don't give this trash company anymore money until they get fucking shit together. Won't happen anytime soon since they're going broke.

WB suddenly added a 20 Gigabyte patch to 5 year old game (the patch is so large because of how the files were created), with the largest change being shoving ads at its players at almost any opportunity for MK11. MK11 isn't even as good as MKX, so they shoved ads into MKX to bring it down to 11's level

Why would they do this? How is this legal?

15GB update to plaster ads all over the game. Treating your customers like garbage isn't a very good marketing strategy. I don't really play this much, so it's not a huge loss, but it really does ensure that I won't ever be tempted to pick up MK11 in future.

Love it, have a lot of hours on PS4, but if you buy this for online play, youre a bit of a twit. Get some real life mates and have a blast necking each other.

Still the best fighting with the more improved gameplay, a big variety of characters. The plot is good at start, but closer to the end it turns into a teenage hollywood movie.

This is the first time I tried playing a Fighting-Game and I really wasn´t disappointed! The Game is great to play when you have friends coming over and just want some quick-action, 1v1-gameplay. Fights are decided in a BO3 (Best of Three) and the many characters offer a variety of different playstyles. I finished the story and it was a great way to try out new characters, experiment with combos and to have a quick overview of the many different combat aspects of the fighters. Whilst I haven´t tried out the multiplayer yet i can already say that the Krypt (which is basically an interactive shop) has unique artworks, fatalities/brutalities, new outfits and fanart to unlock and is very interesting for collectors.

Overall this is a very fun game to play and the best way is to play it with some friends at a Gaming-/Drinking-Evening!
