NFS war einmal das Beste Rennspiel, aber das ist einfach vorbei. Die Steuerung ist ein Graus, das Driften, dieses schlaksige Handling der Autos, diese nervigen Nebengeschichten und Dialoge, die mehr Zeit einnehmen, als das eigentliche Spiel, die Rennen selbst sind unfassbar unrealistisch - da macht FORZA einiges besser und ich kann mich bemühen wie ich will, ich entwickle nach den zwei Jahren, die ich dieses Game auf der Platte habe und immer wieder in gutem Willen anzocke, einfach keinen Spaß daran.

Das Spiel sieht toll aus. Nach NFS-Porsche endlich mal wieder ein Teil der mir gefallen hat. Aber wie immer steckt der Teufel im Detail. Wenn es im Sale ist kann man es sich holen, ansonsten eher nicht. Es hat viele kleine Problemchen die das ganze ziemlich frustrierend macht.

- Diese EA-APP. Ständig poppt sie auf oder schiebt sich beim beenden davor, einfach nur nervig. Vor allen wenn man schnell ne Runde spielen will, der mist aber unbedingt ein Update braucht.

- Wenn man vor den Cops flieht kann man den Motor abstellen um nicht gefunden zu werden. Nur wird es nicht im Spiel erklärt wie man das macht. Selbst in den Optionen hab ich keinen Eintrag dafür gefunden. (Taste G, danke Suchmaschine)

- Ein 1000+PS Auto kommt einen Berg kaum hoch.

- Die Polizei hat Wunderautos. Selbst wenn man 350 Sachen fährt holen die plötzlich mit gefühlten 1000 Sachen auf und rammen einen von der Straße.

- Cops werden einem gerne mal direkt vor die eigene Karre gezaubert.

- Es wird nicht erklärt wie man den Wagen, wenn man sich festgefahren hat, wieder zurück auf die Strecke setzt. Auch in den Optionen gibt es keine einstellbare Tasten dafür.

- Trotz Solositzung wurde ich häufig vor dem Rennen gefragt ob ich gegen Freunde oder sowas fahren will. Warum spiele ich wohl ne Solositzung, EA?

- Habe ein Fahrzeug mit einer Bewertung von 320. Fahre ein Rennen für eine 280 Bewertung und gewinne problemlos. Mache das gleiche Rennen eine Stufe tiefer/schwächer und verliere. (220 Bewertung, gab mehr Geld bei Gewinn) Die Gegner können auf einmal viel schneller fahren und holen mit gefühlter Warpgeschwindigkeit auf)

- Viel zu viel Grind.

- Die besten und schönsten Autos gibts erst ganz am Ende wo man sie nicht mehr braucht.

- Direktes beenden des Spiels geht natürlich nicht. Man muss immer über die Lobby ... trotz Solospiel.

- Es ist nicht möglich sich mit der Maus frei umzusehen. Immer muss das Auto gedreht und gewendet werden. Besonders nervig wenn man Sammelteile sucht.

- In der Karte kann man die Maus nicht zum navigieren nutzen.

Hier hat EA mal seit langer Zeit wieder einen würdigen NFS-Titel abgeliefert.

Grafik: 9/10
Story: 9/10 (Hauptstory leider etwas kurz)
Tuning: 8/10 (gut gelöst, aber ein Hauch zu wenig Möglichkeiten)
Handling: 10/10 (sehr gut steuerbar und realitätsnahes Fahrverhalten)
Multiplayer: 6/10 (sehr oft Server-Neustart - trübt etwas die Spielfreude)
Coding: 7/10 (NPCs blockieren meist grundlos die Straße - insbesondere beim Driften)

Alles in Allem sollte das Game in der Sammlung nicht fehlen.

Sehr gutes Spiel. Super Grafik mit sehr realistischem Fahrverhalten. An sich ein mega Spiel. Leider ist die Rennauswahl etwas gering. Die Rennen wiederholen sich leider oft. Mit freunden macht es sehr viel Spaß.

Ist ganz nice. Sehr repetitiv leider, Charakteroptionen sind leider sehr limitiert. Die Polizeigeschichten sind halt nervig. Die Autoconfigs sind cool, erinnern an alte Zeiten. Grafik ist nice.

Dieses Spiel ist einfach nur dreist! Wenn ich ein Spiel sehe, was 70€ kostet, erwarte ich auch geilen scheiß!. Stattdessen bekommt man für 70€ (so wie man es kennt) Müll. Über das Tuning rede ich erst gar nicht, weil das ist sehr sehr gut geworden! Ab da hört es schon auf.
In der Nacht, versucht man sich als Neuling, RP zu farmen ohne an den Overpowerten Cops vorbei zu kommen. Ohne Weitsprünge (Mods habe ich nicht ausprobiert), sind die Cops nicht abzuhängen. Egal wie krass und eng man um die kurven fährt, die sind immer wieder am Arsch. Da die dir mega am Arsch hängen, ist es ebenso mega abgefuckt, wenn die dir den ganzen Aufwand/Fortschritt, der mal bis zu einer Stunde gehen kann, um dann dafür Ultimative Teile freischalten zu können, den man in der Nacht gesammelt hat, wegnehmen! Wer auch immer sich das im Meeting ausgedacht hat, kam mit so einer scheiße auch noch durch! Im Gegenzug ist der Tag besser, aber ohne RP ist der Tag ebenso scheiße, weil keine neuen Tuning-Teile. Und über die KI will Ich auch nicht reden, weil die in fast allen früheren Teile genau so sind wie in Heat (Stehen bleiben, wenn ein Racer kommt).

Wer sich für Tuning interessiert und in der Freien-Lobby Spaß hat, einfach nur rum zufahren, ist dieses Spiel genau richtig.
Aber für den Rest, würde ich euch empfehlen, das Geld zu sparen oder wenn Ihr es trd. euch kaufen wollt, dann bei einer Rabatt-Aktion.

Grundsätzlich cool, aber:

Bei einer Heat-Stufe von mehr als 2 ist es unmöglich den Cops zu entkommen,
ebenfalls können die Cops viel zu viel Schaden einstecken und viel zu viel austeilen.
Die Bullen spawnen auch aus dem nichts vor einem.

Fazit: so ziemlich alles gut außer die Cops

Spiel prinzip mit Tag und Nacht sehr cool gemacht. Nur bei Nacht kannst du REP verdienen fürs Leveln, Cops chasen dich und umso länger sie dich verfolgen umso mehr REP kannst du bekommen wenn du Nacht schaffst umso höher dein HEAT lvl umso schwieriger wirds sehr cool.

Seit langem mal wieder NFS gespielt sehe keine nachteile zu den alten teilen wie Underground das hier ist schon geiler.

The game is great but to be honest... the cops are just plain annoying. Chases aren't fun, crashing cops isn't fun , and mission including cops isn't fun... it's nothing but a majorly annoying inconvenience.

Paired with a gamebreaking bug that forced me to kill the games process twice- , ironically a mission in which one has to crash a cop, which who knew was nothing but an annoying drag,- this game is just not good in my eyes... I prefer good old underground anyday over this :P

Need for Speed | Heat

Need for Speed war schon immer so nh Sache für mich.
Payback braucht man gar nicht anzusprechen es war ganz klar ein reinfall.
Mein letzter NFS Teil den ich wirklich gerne gespielt habe war Most Wanted auch wenn ich mir hiermit so einige Feinde machen werde ^^
Jedoch finde ich das Heat mal wieder seit einigen Jahren das zeigt was NFS auch wirklich ist. Nämlich ein auf Action-Basierter und Tuning Angelehnter Racer.
Und dies haben sie wirklich bei Heat gut umgesetzt.

Das Setting und die Cops

Die Verfolgungsjagden werden durch die Heat Level sehr anspruchsvoll und können nur mit guten Gelingen auf einem höheren Heat Level bezwungen werden.
Die Cops finde ich hierbei jedoch etwas komisch. Ein Beispiel: Ich fahre eine längere Straße entlang und rechts neben mir fährt ein Cop der mich abdrängen will. Ich geh auf die Bremse und gebe danach Vollgas um ein seitlich von hinten wegzurammen. Warum ist das dann der Fall das dies mir mehr schadet als dem Cop selber? Dies ist auf Heat Stufe 2 geschehen und es handelte sich hier um ein normalen Cop Wagen. Außer diesen einigen Vorfällen ist mir jedoch nichts an den Verfolgungsjagden negatives aufgefallen.

Tuning

Der Meilenstein bei Heat liegt mMn auf jedenfall im Tuning. Noch nie konnte man seinen Wagen so sehr ins Detail bearbeiten und redesignen. Die Folien die man ebenfalls auch von der Community downloaden kann geben hier nochmal den letzten Schubser. Egal ob Porsche, BMW oder Audi letzendlich steht es einem selber offen auf welchen Style dein Wagen angelehnt sein soll und wie du ihm der Welt präsentieren möchtest.

Story

Die Story ist hierbei jedoch zu sehr an die Neuzeit angelehnt. Jeder redet als müsste er der neue Star sein und würde jeden Moment den Follower Rekord auf Instagram brechen. Hier hätte man definitiv etwas runterschrauben können was die Wortwahl der einzelnen Charakter angeht.

Grafik

Die Grafik ist nicht schlecht jedoch ist die Kantenglättung (jedenfalls bei mir) an manchen Stellen etwas eingeschränkt und es kommt ab und zu zu Grafikfehlern. Anderseits sind die einzelnen Shots auf Ultra Einstellungen nicht zu toppen. Die Lichteffekte sind hierbei das Highlight der ganzen Geschichte.

Schlussworte

Im ganzen Paket finde ich NFS Heat eines der besten NFS Teile der ganzen Reihe.
Es verbessert viele Bereiche die in vorherigen Teilen falsch gemacht worden oder gefehlt haben.
Eine solide 7/10 jedoch deutlich zu teuer und man sollte auf den nächsten Sale warten...

Sehr sehr gutes Spiel, eine gute Auswahl aus vielen Autos von vielen Marken und immer viel Spaß mit Freunden gehabt, dabei fehlt mir leider mein geliebter BMW Q5 (Fortnite Edition) und mein Opel Qashqai, aber sonst ein wirklich gutes Spiel. Kann ich nur empfehlen, vor allem für Auto Fans, aber auf euren BMW Q5 (Fortnite Edition) müsst ihr leider verzichten

Das Spiel ist ist einfach der letzte Schmutz!
Der Polizei kann man nicht entkommen, Sie spawn permanet neu nach die dein Auto ohne Probleme kaputt machen egal welche extra Sachen man dazu eingebaut hat zu dem ist Sie gefühlt schneller als das Licht. Das ist echt ein schlechter Witz !!!

Played Undergound back in the day came back for this one since i heared good things.

Am glad i did and i can confirm!

Night mode fuses my nostalgia with updated, slick modern gaming and light mode is a great way to switch things up. Love the chases and progression so far. Can be as easy or hard as you want, change difficulty to fit you relaxed/try-hard feeling.

10/10 would by again, playing it solo and with friends is cool.

I have 30hours of playtime, max. level and basically theres nothing which could make me play the game another couple of hours. Bought the game 4 days ago for nearly 20€. No cap needed I think.

Wer auch immer diese Idee hatte das man unbedingt Heat Stufe 5 erreichen muss um dann nochmal extra Quest zu machen um die letzten Tuning teile zu bekommen gehört ausgelöscht. Es versaut das gesamte Spiel das es nur 1 Auto gibt was Standartgemäß über 400 punkte hat. Die ersten 25 Stunden waren super aber jetzt wo ich seit über 5 Stunden nurnoch Grinde nervt es hart. Da war der vorgänger mit dem Karten besser durchdacht.

Die KI der Polizei ist extrem overpowered, Polizeiautos spawnen direkt vor einem und können auf unfassbare Geschwindigkeiten beschleunigen. Wenn man gefasst wird verliert man praktisch alles was man in der Nacht erspielt hat.

Ein würdiger Nachfolger der Serie. Der Wechsel zwischen Tag und Nacht bringt auf jeden Fall Abwechslung ins Spiel. Es kann teilweise, gerade am Anfang etwas schwierig sein (vor allem nachts den Cops zu entkommen), wenn man den Dreh raus hat jedoch großes Unterhaltungspotential.

Ein kleines großes Feedback über Need for Speed Heat.

Ich kann mir nicht erklären, weshalb Need for Speed die letzten Jahre so unbeliebt geworden ist falls ich hier auf dem rechten Stand der Dinge bin.

Als Need for Speed Fan der ersten Stunde kann ich über Heat nur schreiben, ich finde es Spitze und es macht mir echt Spaß.

Für mich geht Heat wieder in die Richtung von Need for Speed Underground 1 und 2 oder Most Wanted in einem moderneren Setup.

Ich habe mit einem sehr alten Need for Speed Teil auf dem PC angefangen, den Titel weiß ich momentan nicht mehr, dort waren der Mclaren F1 und Jaguar XJ220 meine ich vorhanden.

Danach kam mein erster Hot Pursuit Teil für die Xbox Konsole bevor Need for Speed Underground 1 auf den Markt kam.

Underground 1 und 2 habe ich mehrere Jahre immer wieder gespielt - Auch die Nachfolger wie Most Wanted, Undercover, Carbon oder Pro Street. Hot Pursuit und die anderen Nachfolger.

Bis auf den Vorgänger von Need for Speed Heat hatte ich jeden Teil mehrfach durchgespielt wobei Underground 1 und 2 meine Lieblingsteile der Serie gewesen sind.

Für mich geht Heat heute wieder genau in diese Richtung :

+Das Tuning ist sehr umfangreich und für mich ausreichend gestaltet.
-Auch wenn es nicht so umfangreich wie bei Underground oder anderen Teilen ist.
+Selbst der Fahrer lässt sich optisch anpassen und gestalten.
+Die Fahrphysik ist Arcade-Lastig und macht für mich mit Gamepad sehr viel Spaß.
+Die Grafik bzw. Details der Wagen sind für meinen Geschmack sehr gut gestaltet sowie die Charaktere.
+Die offene Welt in Heat ist weitesgehend befahrbar, was mir auch sehr viel Spaß macht.
+Das Spiel hat wieder eine Story, die mir eine kleine Spannung bietet und Lust auf mehr macht.
+Es gibt die Möglichkeit zwischen Tag und Nacht zu wechseln bevor man seine Tuning Garage verlässt.
+Tags über ist es leichter die Rennen zu fahren oder sonstige Aktivitäten in Heat zu unternehmen
+Nachts scheint mir das Spiel bisher etwas anspruchsvoller gestaltet zu sein, so wie der Name Heat das Spiel wohl bezeichnet. - Die Cops können auf meiner Stufe ( Ich bin noch ganz am Anfang ) wirklich knallhart und schwer abzuschütteln sein wenn es stärkere Autos sind. Ich bin schon 2 mal geschnappt worden und mir wurde die Hälfte meiner Reputations-Punkte abgezogen. Ich verspüre keine Frustration oder ähnliches, es ist cool animiert wenn man von den Cops geschnappt wird und macht Lust auf mehr.
+Es gibt verschiedene Arten von Rennen, das sagt mir auch besonders zu.
+Es gibt einen Solo und Mehrspieler ( Party ) Modus.

Abzüge habe ich kaum welche, die Details der Umwelt wirken an manchen stellen etwas veraltet, trist oder von den Texturen her nicht mehr Zeitgemäß - Ich empfinde es aber nicht als störend oder ähnliches.
Über die Musiktitel lässt sich streiten - Manche gefallen mir und manche nicht, das ist Geschmackssache würde ich sagen.
Meine Kamera Einstellung verzieht sich abundzu unwillkürlich sobald ich im Erkundungsmodus bin und durch die offene Welt fahre, das kann aber eventuell auch an meinem Gamepad oder den Einstellungen liegen.

Ansonsten freue ich mich auf die Story, und auf den Mehrspieler, ich bin gespannt ob ich hier noch ein paar coole Spielstunden haben werde.

Need for Speed : Heat sagt mir bisher definitiv zu und es ist absolut mein Geschmack von Rennspiel. Wer früher gerne Need for Speed Underground gespielt hat, dem kann ich das Spiel von meinen bisherigen Eindrücken her nur wärmstens Empfehlen!

Das Fahren macht zwar Spaß, dafür ist alles andere ein Reinfall. Die Story ist platt, die Charaktere eindimensional und einfach nur cringe. Aber auf die Story lege ich keinen Wert, ich habe mir das Spiel geholt um Rennen zu fahren, da ist mir sowas an sich egal. Aber der schlimmste Aspekt sind die ganzen technischen Probleme. Bis man mal mit Freunden online fahren kann muss man sich nicht nur durch unzähligen Ladescreens durchquälen sondern insbesondere durch die technischen Mängel. Hinzu kommt noch, dass das Spiel mein ganzes Soundsystem einfach abschaltet, sobald ich auf Online klicke (ich habe das ganze Internet nach dem Problem durchsucht, nichts gefunden). Nervig ist auch, dass das Spiel im Fenstermodus konsequent im Vordergrund bleibt, ich kann keine anderen Programme öffnen, die sich auf dem selben Bildschirm befinden. Im Vollbild spiele ich nicht, da der Code des Spiels anscheinend nicht darauf klar kommt und Probleme bereitet. Holt euch lieber Forza, Assetto Corsa oder Payback.

Gutes spiel macht spaß zu spielen und die Autos kann man gut Aufrüsten. Allerdings wird es nach einiger Zeit mit nem 400+ Auto langweilig.

Beautiful landscape, city and details!

I've been playing this game for 32 hours now and I am really amazed.
Personally I played a few NFS games and this one is definetely one of my favourites.
When driving through the cities and countryside you find a lot details like individual drawings, advertisments, stores and more.
No place looks similar to another one. This creates a really nice feeling for just cruising.

Good selection of cars.

What I really like is the fact that they have Polestar as brand in the game. Though I was pretty confused to hear a petrol engine (or similar - am not too much into car engines) though this brand produces electric cars (only).
Moreover you find every typical brand like Mercedes, Ferrari, Ford etc.
I personally wouldn't mind to have some more models but the variety is fine.

Easy and fast story.

The story is pretty short and could contain a little more quests.
After finishing the story line you just do races or fight with the police which sometimes is a little tiring, but okay!

To conclude...

The game itself is not the most difficult one I played in the NFS universe but I still have a lot of fun and just adore the graphics mostly. Recommended for racing lovers who don't want to stress out too much while playing.

Das beste NFS seit Jahren.
Im Vergleich mit Rivals merkt man schon die Verbesserung, macht aber kein Spaß bei spielen wie Underground oder MW früher.
Die sind aber auf dem richtigen Weg und wenn die weiter so machen, sollten wir bald endlich einen richtigen Nachfolger von Underground bekommen.

Bewertung ( 0 - 5)

-Gameplay 4 (klassisch NFS, manche Sachen machen aber kein Sinn was Physik angeht. Sonst macht es Spaß beim Driften und allgemein Lenken/Fahren)

-Grafik 4 (auf Ultra sehen Welt- und Fahrzeugdetails ziemlich schon aus, sogar bei regnen und Nacht)

-Story 3 (meiner Meinung nach ist Story einfach nur langweilig und zu langsam)

-Tuning 5 (einfach Top, Optik sowie Leistung)

Weitere Pros:
- Polizei wieder da und ist nicht einfach von denen zu entkommen, was ich persönlich sehr gut finde.
- Tag und Nacht Modus (Legale und Illegale Rennen)

Alles im allem bekommt Heat 4 von 5 von mir.

Kompletter Müll. Ca. 15 Min Spielzeit und direkt deinstalliert. Ich wusste das es scheiße ist aber als ich dann doch teures Geld aus dem Fenster dafür warf überkam mich fast der Suizid, Bitte kauft es euch nicht

Ich kann das Spiel empfehlen!

Kurzes Fazit:
Das NFS macht wirklich Spaß, schöne Grafik, gute Rennen und auch der Multiplayer ist nicht schlecht.
Zudem gibt es viele Fahrzeuge und viele individuelle Tuning Möglichkeiten.

Allerdings ist die Story im Vergleich zu den alten Teilen, Carbon, Underground..., nicht so toll.

Mir hat NFS Heat ein paar schöne Spielstunden bereitet.

Hi alle zusammen, hier nun auch ein Review zu NFS Heat von mir.
(wie bei allen meinen Reviews erweitere ich es mit der Zeit)

Kurzfazit

Spaßiger gut aussehender Rennsimulator mit netter SP Story, Multiplayer Möglichkeiten inklusive guten Tuning
und Schwerpunkt aufs wesentliche.

Empfehlenswert ja aber ich finde es zu teuer für den Vollpreis, daher empfehle ich auf den Sale zu warten.
Ich habe es im Winter Sale mit 50% gekauft.

Details

Was mir gefällt

Sehr viele Automarken mit unterschiedlichen Modellen die man durch Fortschritt und Erfolge freigeschaltet bekommt.
Die Autos sehen wirklich sehr gut und sehr Originalgetreu aus.
Es gibt nicht nur Modelle der letzten 5-10 Jahre sondern auch echte Sterne am Automobilhimmel
(Aston Martin Db5, 67er Shelby GT500, Ferrari Testarossa, Ford Mustang 1965 uvm)
Hier gibt es alles vom Westlichen Big Block über den 1er Golf, den Italien Stallion bis hin zum ultramodernen fernöstlichen Reis Kocher, einfach alles je nach Vorliebe.
Die Autosounds und Geräusche hören sich ebenfalls sehr gut an.
Sehr umfangreiche Tuningmöglichkeiten. (Felgen, Farbe, Karosserie, Verspoilerungen, Tieferlegungen, Nitro Farbeffekte, Neoneffekte, Auspuffsounds sind veränderbar, Motor, Fahrwerk, Bremsen uvm )
Das Fahrgefühl verändert sich je nach Drift, Race, Offroad Tuning Varianten sehr gut.
Die komplette Spielwelt und die Wettereffekte sind Optisch eine echte Augenweide.
Tagsüber fährt man Rennen und verdient Geld um sein Auto zu Verbessern oder sich ein schnelleres zu Kaufen das man dann ebenfalls verbessert.
Nachts fährt man dann mit dem tagsüber durch Gelb verbesserten Wagen illegale Strassenrennen um sein Ansehen zu verbessern.
Nachts ist die Polizei wesentlich aktiver und wenn man sie im Nacken hat bekommt man dafür einen Heat Bonus (umso waghalsiger man die Polizei abschüttelt oder umso mehr aufsehen man bei einer Verfolgungsjagd erregt umso höher steigt der Heat Bonus, aber wenn ihr euch erwischen und verhaften lasst, ist auch schon mal euer gesamtes Bargeld weg und der Heat Bonus futsch. Also Heiße Reifen und ein wacher Verstand sind geboten.

Was mir nicht gefällt

In der gesamten Spielwelt habe ich noch nicht eine Person gesehen.
Autos fahren rum wo auch Personen am Steuer sitzen aber sonst sieht man keine Menschenseele.
Wenn man ein Event annimmt stehen dann sowohl in der Startsequenz als auch beim Rennen selber die ich nenne sie mal Pappfiguren immer sehr ähnlich Jubelnd am Straßenrand.
Während eines Rennens gibt es dann immer wieder lustige Kommentare die wohl fest gescriptet sind.
Denn welcher Fahrer würde sonst wenn er 800 meter hinter einem fährt sagen : Ha ich bin genau da wo ich hin will, ist das alles was du kannst ? ............. -Ähm ok wenn dir der Auspuff so gefällt ;-)
Die Personen in den Zwischensequenzen wirken leider teilweise etwas Textur arm und Plastisch.
Man merkt halt einfach das die Macher ihren Schwerpunkt auf die Wagen und das Rennen an sich gelegt haben, was gewöhnungsbedürftig für das Allgemeinbild ist aber durchaus in Ordnung für einen Rennsimulator dieser Art.

Alles in Allem macht das Spiel aber echt Laune würde aber nicht den vollen Preis dafür ausgeben.

ALTF4GAMES hatte Recht!!!
Das Potenzial hat EA GAMES wieder einmal überhaupt nicht ausgeschöpft. Ich habe nie ein NFS gespielt welches frustrierender war als es dieses NFS HEAT ist!
Deintallieren musste ich es, um meine Hardware zu schützen weil ich den Rechner sonst aus dem Fenster treten würde, sollte ich mich nochmal dabei erwischen dieses Spiel zu starten.
NFS HEAT sieht nur auf der immer feuchten Oberfläche gut aus - doch dahinter verbirgt sich ein ganz großer Haufen Müll!

Abgesehen von der Musik und der Grafik hat es leider keine Eigenschaften die andere Spiele nicht besser hinbekommen.

- Tuning Möglichkeiten wie in einer DEMO-Version. der Umfang ist ein Witz
- leere, sterile Welt ohne Liebe zum Detail
- Komfortmechaniken fehlen fast gänzlich
- absolut nicht benutzerfreundlich
- KI katastrophal
- Fahrphysik und Logik komplett off
- die Liste ist endlos

Beim Spielen merkt man förmlich wie die Entwickler und der Publisher ticken und das ist einfach nur widerwärtig. Sie nehmen eine hohle Torte, malen sie schön an, kacken dann rein und verkaufen es.
Schon allein die Tatsache, dass sich mehr Gedanken darum gemacht wurde Grind zu verhindern, um die Spielzeit zu strecken und alles mit Reputations-Gates noch weiter in die Länge zu ziehen - dafür aber bei manchen Autos grad mal eine Stoßstange im Angebot zu haben - spricht Bände über die Prioritäten bei EA!

Dieses Spiel ist ein Schlag ins Gesicht des Endverbrauchers. Selbst die 21€ im Sale waren noch zuviel für diese ekelhafte Mogelpackung! Vor Jahren habe ich mir schon geschworen EA GAMES nie wieder mit Geld zu unterstützen - jetzt haben sie noch eine Chance bekommen und es wiedermal grandios verkackt!! Eine Rückhand vom Feinsten haben sie verdient!

An sich sehr cool gemacht, Die Fahrzeuge ,die Grafik Klasse, aber der Story Mode, ist einfach viel zu kurz und damit zu schnell durch. dadurch auch die schlechte Bewertung......Lvl geht bis 50 und mit einem lvl von 34kann man es locker durch haben. Im Angebot kann man es kaufen, aber nicht für den Regulären VK. Dafür hat es meiner Meinung nach viel zu wenig Inhalt

also ich habe NFS schon immer geliebt und gefeiert ... nach langer Zeit wollte ich mal wieder richtig Gas geben aber vergeblich bzw. SO NICHT ...

Mein PC ist wirklich nicht von schlechten Eltern und kann die FEHLER das Spiels aushalten aber das tue ich meinem PC nicht an ...
Sobald ich das Spiel starte springt meine CPU + GPU AUF 100 % ...
es gibt kaum Einstellungensmöglichkeiten, noch nicht mal FPS-begrenzung ...

SEHR SEHR SCHADE ... schon wieder ein Spiel verkackt EA,- danke das Ihr so wenig auf Qualität setzt und einfach nur ans schnelle Geld denkt ...

Passt alles: Grafik cool, Sound cool, Gameplay cool. Erwartet keine Simulation, NFS ist traditionell Arcade. Spannende Rennen gibt es trotzdem. Die Autos sind originalgetreu, das Tuning umfangreich und macht richtig Spaß. Da waren die Vorgänger teilweise sehr viel schlechter.

Einziges Manko dürfte die Langzeitmotivation sein. Die Story ist relativ kompakt, die Sidequests sind auch schnell zu schaffen. Es bleiben dann nur noch Rennen gegen Onlinegegner. NFS World Klasse ist da aber noch nicht vorhanden. Ein 1000 Stunden Spiel wird es bei mir wahrscheinlich nicht werden. Gleichwohl eine Empfehlung!

Ja ne ich ich weiß gar nicht wo ich anfangen soll.

Die Story ist 0815 aber gut wer sich ein NFS wegen der Story kauft macht etwas falsch in seinem Leben. Die Hauptstory kann man gefühlt in 1-2h durchspielen, dann gibt es noch 2 Nebenstory’s. Bei denen kann man nicht mal mehr sagen 0815, das ist eher so 0814. Ich denke du verstehst was ich sagen will.

Das Gameplay ist halt ein Typisches Arcade-lastiges NFS es macht spass mit seinem getunt Auto durch die Open World zu heizen. Da brauch man nicht viel zu sagen.

Das Tuning ist halt wie in jedem NFS, da gibt es keine Erneuerung. Seit NFS U2 geht es mit der Reihe NFS nur noch Berg ab. Heck-, Front, Seitenschürze, Spoiler etc drauf/dran ein paar Decals und Farbe ändern fertig.

Was machst man nachdem man die Story durch hat? Wenn du so bist wie ich, der keine Lust auf Online spielen hat, fällt dieser Teil auch weg. Man könnte noch alle 315 Sammelobjekte und alle 120 Aktivitäten machen aber wofür? Es hat einfach kein mehr wert dies Zutun. Jetzt könnte man noch alle Ultimativ und Ultimativ+ teile Sammeln. Dafür muss man aber bei Nacht erst Heat Stufe 5 erreichen. Dafür muss man so im Schnitt 3-4 Rennen machen, dann muss noch ein Rennen machen wo man ein Ultimativ-Teil bekommt und mit diesem muss man noch eine Garage erreichen ohne das die Cops das Auto schrotten. Wenn ich richtig bin gibt es 10 Ultimativ und 10 Ultimativ+ Teile, welches ihr nach einer Nacht bekommt wird per Zufall ausgelost. Du willst einfach nur ein paar Auto’s tunen, ja dann viel Spaß beim Geld grind. Wenn es nur um die Optik geht hält sich das in Grenzen aber wenn du auch Leistung tunen willt sieht das anders aus. Es könnte nicht langweiliger sein, entweder ihr fahrt unterschiedliche rennen oder ihr Springt immer wieder über eine Rampe und bekommt dafür Geld. Jedes mal wenn man Rennen A gemacht hat bekommt man beim Wiederholen von Rennen A weniger Geld. Also man muss unterschiedliche Rennen machen oder man macht ein Rennen und geht in die Garage zurück. Wenn man das macht wird der Counter resetet und man kann das gleiche Rennen wieder fahren. Alles nicht so geil.

Fazit
Ein typisches NFS es macht irgendwie Spaß aber so richtigen Content gibt es nicht.

Feiner Arcade Racer, welcher sehr gut für Multiplayer geeignet ist.

Dieser Teil entspricht noch am ehesten dem was ich von einem NFS Titel erwarten würde.
+ Rennen sind gut und machen auch Spaß
- Driften wurde hier leider komplett verhauen.
+ Settings für die Fahrzeuge sind überschaubar und nicht zu kompliziert.
- Story hätte man sich sparen können
- für Tuningteile muss man sinnlose Nebenaufgaben lösen

Insgesamt macht das Spiel eine deutlich besser Figur als NFS 2015 oder Payback die beide einfach jeweils für sich eine Katastrophe waren. Für den nächsten Titel würde ich mir aber einfach wünschen sich mal Underground anzugucken.

This game is basically Need For Speed: Underground 3 in everything but name.
If it had the name I bet it would've sold a lot more copies and would have been well a lot more loved,
It is really that good!

Ich kann mich den Rezessionen nicht anschließen. Die Story ist flach, die Stimmen gehen mir auf den Sack und die Videos sehen plastisch und billig aus. Das Spiel startet nur einmal nach Rechnerstart und danach wird rumgebugt. Das liegt aber wahrscheinlich an der Steam/Origin-Geschichte.
Die kostenlose Corvette in der Deluxe Edition macht alle platt. Es ist vollkommen egal ob man fast 800.000 für einen McLaren ausgibt. Das ist abnormal unbalanciert und nervt.
Ständig grinden und sammeln damit man die Karren aufbauen kann.
Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher das es bessere Spiele gibt aber für 4,99€ im EA Play-Abo kann man's mal mitnehmen.

Absolute Warnung: EA gibt einen Scheiss auf eure Spielstände, und wenn ihr das Spiel jetzt hier über Steam Installiert mit Origin Spielständen sind diese gelöscht sobald ihr eine Fehlermeldung bekommt beim Spielen. Problem ist seit Release bekannt ( 2019 ) und wurde noch nicht behoben. Einfach mal Lost savegame nfs heat googeln.

Nacher langer Zeit mal wieder ein NFS was wirklich Laune macht und sich auch wie ein NFS anfühlt :) an alle die Sich wegen ihren FPS beschweren, ich habe auf meiner RTX 2070 Super keine Laggs und kann problemlos auf Ultra Settings spielen :)

Das vermutlich beste Need for Speed der letzten Jahre. Kein Underground oder Most Wanted, aber ein wirklich rundes Spiel. Große Auswahl an Autos und Tuning Möglichkeiten. Der Folieneditor ist gewohnt umfangreich wie aus den letzten Teilen. Zur Story kann man nicht viel sagen, im Endeffekt belanglos wie in allen Teilen. Grafik Top, läuft auf meiner RX 590 mit Hoch bis Ultra Einstellungen stabil um die 60 FPS. Papi Mais vergibt 8/10 Maiskolben.

the Graphics are pretty amazing 8/10
the physics and driving is good 10/10
I didnt finished the story yet so I can not say anything about it
but after 11 playtime I still have fun just exploring the world and switch from Day to Night
and I really get the old Need for Speed feeling in this game I love it
I would say I would be way fourther in the story if I didnt have so much fun exporing racing arround miami and getting new cars

NFS haben mich früher nie interessiert. Ich war ein Gran Turismo Kind. Allerdings hat GT schon lange seinen Glanz von damals verloren. GT1-3 waren die Highlights. Vielleicht wird GT7 wieder zu alten Stärken aufschliessen können. Warum erwähne ich das?

Weil mir das Progressionsgefühl und die Bindung zum Auto wichtig ist. Damals musste man seine 1. Gurke tunen, man hatte Spass. Man gewann die ersten Rennen, kaufte sich einen Auspuff. Der Klang veränderte sich dadurch schon damals. Und man merkte jedes Upgrade.

So auch bei NFS Heat. Als grosser Fan von GTA Vice City und als Kind der 80er liebe ich natürlich dieses Setting über alles.

Es macht unglaublich Spass, die erste Karre aufzumotzen und Teile einzubauen. Das optische Tuning ist das Highlight des Spiels. Aber auch der Tag- und Nachtwechsel ist SUPER gelungen. Es motiviert extrem, tagsüber Geld zu verdienen und es dann möglichst auszugeben, bevor man die Nacht startet. Denn in der Nacht kann es schief gehen...die Cops schnappen dich und dein Geld ist futsch. Damit erreicht das Spiel ein wenig nachzudenken.

Das Geschwindigkeitsgefühl ist hervorragend. Die Nitros einzusetzen ist spassig. Die unterschiedlichen Einstellungen machen jede Auto einzigartig.

Die Story ist ganz ok, auf jeden Fall weniger peinlich als bei den Vorgängern (ich habe mir lediglich Reviews auf youtube angeschaut).

Einziger Schwachpunkt ist der schlechte Soundtrack. Ein paar Hip Hop Stücke in der Nacht sind ganz ok aber tagsüber das Latino Gedüdel ist unerträglich. Geschmackssache natürlich, ich fand es grässlich. So habe ich halt mit eigener Mucke gezockt, was dem Spielspass ja keinen Abbruch tat.

Seit 20 Jahren habe ich endlich mal wieder Spass bei einem Arcade-Rennspiel gehabt. Das hätte ich nie gedacht. Die Forzas haben mich alle derart enttäuscht. Gleich zu Beginn erhält man eine viel zu starke Karre. Und der absolute Horror für das Progressionsgefühl: Wheelspin. Nach 1h spielen hat man schon eine übermächtige Karre zur Hand. Nein nein nein so nicht. Entnervt habe ich jedes Forza in den Wind geschmissen.

Aber NFS Heat hat bei mir all die richtigen Knöpfe gedrückt. Endlich! Ein top Spiel und fast überall zu schlecht bewertet!

Das ich sowas mal wieder Reviewn kann zu einem neuen Need for Speed ist echt ein Wahnsinn.
Lange war die Need for Speed Serie einfach Müll.
Seit Most Wanted oder Underground leider nix annäherndes so gut gewesen.
Aber dieses Need for Speed HEAT ist der Hammer.
Grafik das feinste,
Autosound Qualität brutal,
Story sorgt für ein paar Stunden echt intensive Spannung und das Tuning am eigenen Auto ist endlich wieder on fire.
AABBBBBEERRR das Game ist noch lange nicht vorbei wenn die Story durch ist.
Es gibt knapp 150 Autos und alle einfach mal geil zum fahren und auftunen.
Das mit dem Tags über Geld farmen und Nachts REP macht es abwechslungsreich wenn man mal die Nase voll hat von normalen Rennen fahren.
Alles in einem kann ich dieses Spiel jedem NFS Fan empfehlen.
Hut ab , freu mich auf ein noch krasseres ;))))

Vorab: Allein dafür, dass EA sich entschieden hat, bestehende und kommende Spiele auch auf Steam zu veröffentlichen, gibt es schon mal ein positives Review. ^^

Nun zu Need for Speed Heat:

Wer NFS kennt, sollte auch bei diesem Spiel bereits wissen, dass es ein Arcade-Rennspiel und keine Simulation ist. Dadurch eignet sich das Spiel super zum abschalten. Die Story ist nett gemacht, aber eher nebensächlich.

Die Grafik ist sehr gut, die Fahrzeuge schön detailliert und es gibt etliche Tuning-Möglichkeiten.

Wer also ein Rennspiel sucht, welches man alleine oder natürlich zusammen mit Freunden, zum abschalten nutzen möchte, ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben.

Wenn man vergleicht wie schlecht die vorherigen Teile der Need for Speed Reihe waren (Rivals, etc.) kann man dieses NFS wirklich verdammt gut spielen.

Es wurde an Kleinigkeiten gedacht, die ich cool finde. Zum Beispiel, dass man während der Cut Scene Gas geben kann, der Auspuff knallt und die Zuschauer weg laufen. Die Sounds sind grandios, die Grafik ist unfassbar. Die Wasserreflexionen, die Wettereffekte, die Stimmen der KI, es ist ein rundes Ding.
Die freie Fahrt tagsüber von der in der Nacht zu unterscheiden ist ein geniales Feature.

Ich kann jedem Straßenrennen Fan nur ans Herz legen, dem Spiel eine Chance zu geben.
70€ hätte ich nicht ausgegeben, im Sale die 28 sind vollkommen in Ordnung.

Need for Speed™ heat

Pros:
- Excellent car selection
- Very good visual effects
- Very good graphics
- Exciting story
- Best system for car customization of all Need for Speed parts

Cons:
- The cops get aggressive way too fast, and at night it is sometimes impossible to escape the cops (no matter how fast and how far you drive), and if you get caught they take away some REP and money.

Personally I think Need for Speed Heat is one of the best games of 2020. It has advantages as well as disadvantages like any other game, but the advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages. I give the game a rating of 9/10.

- Fahrphysik auch schlecht
- Es ist unmöglich von der Polizei zu entkommen (was jeglichen fälschlicherweise vorhandenen Spielspaß verschwinden lässt).
- Grafik und Performance von dem Spiel sind überraschend schlecht für ein so aktuellen Titel

Würden die Autos sich nicht einigermaßen vernünftig anhören, das tunen von selbigen Spaß machen und es eine relativ große Auswahl an Autos geben, gäbe es meiner Meinung wirklich GARKEINEN Grund das Spiel zu spielen.
Kaufen würde ich das Spiel DEFINITIV nicht zum vollen Preis. Bei einem Sale kaufen oder so billig wie möglich über einen anderen Anbieter.

Gutes Spiel im gesamten, ich mag das man so viele verschiedene Tuningmöglichkeiten hat und mit den verschiedenen Rennsorten auch abwechslungsreich hat. Allerdings ist die Story für meinen Geschmack zu kurz.

Need for Speed Heat ist ein rasantes Renn und Geschicklichkeitsspiel. Die Grafik ist zeitgemäß doch auch die Steuerung und der kräftige Sound können mich überzeugen. Die Rennen sind nicht zu schwierig und die Verfolgungsrennen mit der Polizei können mit einem schnellen Wagen leicht gewonnen werden. Ein flottes kurzweiliges Spiel mit schönen Autos zum fairen Preis.

Ich spiele NFS seit Most Wanted 2005! 2015 fing es bei mir an, die Spiele nicht mehr ernst zu nehmen, wegen einer Story die einfach nur schlecht war und 2017 probierte man es mit einem schlechtem Action Film. Doch dieses NFS bringt in mir wieder Gefühle hoch, die ich seit Most Wanted nicht mehr hatte. Ordentliche Polizei KI und Tuning auf dem höchsten Niveau. Ohne viel zu Spoilern, die Story finde ich sehr gelungen, doch wirkt ab und zu absolut Cringe. Dieses NFS, kann ich nur weiter empfehlen! 10/10

Need for Speed Heat is a fun racing game with an interesting storyline.
Palm City has been put together with great care and is therefore the ideal playground for speed freaks.
The difference between day and night is like the difference between, well, day and night. Everything neat during the day, raw and dangerous at night.
Your sworn rival is the city police and the game has succeeded in making you hate them.
The best thing about this game, however, is the collection of wonderful cars and all possibilities in customization, even exhaust sound. Within arcade racers, NFS Heat is the best car porn out there.

In that regard, Need for Speed Heat follows a very similar route, with the twist being the difference between day and night racing.
In daylight, races, drift events and the like are organized on closed roads, with which you legally earn money to expand and brighten up your car collection. After dark, however, there is only illegal racing through traffic and you earn reputation points to grow the range of cars and parts.
Important detail: at night the police are extra alert and agents will act increasingly harder as you try to reach a hiding place with more hard-earned points in one piece.

The real Need for Speed feeling is also reflected in the racing style. With more than 200 km/h the car can drift through a corner or hit huge obstacles and just keep driving.
In an arcade world this should be possible and it can be done better than ever in Heat.
Walls, large trees, lampposts. You can drive it all over without taking the speed out of your car to an extreme.
The racing is wonderfully smooth, the setting is right, the cars are right, and it's an excellent homage to the thickest games in NFS history.
On the one hand, my nostalgia gauge is once again richly filled, on the other hand, NFS Heat really just feels like a new classic that combines the best of the past with today's gameplay and graphics.

Game used to work fine 3 days ago, now the EA App crashes when launching and refuses to work.

EA is a big cancerous lump on the pc gaming landscape and I hope they go bankrupt very soon.

just remove EA games from steam if the game needs EA launcher to launch the game. I can't even play this game in single player (offline mode) whenever i want. Totally unplayable when you want to play w/o internet connection.

Need for Speed Heat. Where do I start? If you're looking for an action packed game; with a wide range of customisation and vehicles to choose from. This is it. Need for Speed is more of an arcade style racer game with good driver feedback. It has a lot of different customisation options to build cars uniquely to each and everyone's taste. The game is fun to play and can keep you hooked with having two different styles of reward systems, one being Reputation and the other being money. Each has a different purpose and ideally you're required to try and maximise both. The game has a Day and Night mode. Which helps differentiate which type of reward system you're aiming for. However, when driving at night. There are tons of cops. The higher your heat level rises, the worse it gets. Cops in this game can be quite difficult to escape from and become annoying more so later in the game. This game is meant to be fun, open world cruising, many small tasks to do around the map like speed traps, collectables and jumping through billboards.

This game is not so accurate when it comes to behaving like a car simulation game. On PC the keys are not analogue so, when driving or braking. You're almost doing it at 100% which is annoying. The game supports controllers. However, I found using a PS4 controller did not fix the issues I had. The game is worth it if you're able to pick it up on sale. Paying full price for this game does not seem worth it.

Overall, the game is fun, challenging and action packed. But can be quite repetitive and tedious. Because it has online multiplayer option, playing with friends makes it fun. Checking out different car builds and racing others online. Playing the solo version can become boring overtime. Due to the games races becoming very repetitive.

The origin application needed to launch this game is crashing. The controller / pad support is laughable, EA is aware of issues but in their consideration it is not worth to investigate. Not optimised for PC platform. Generally poor port of console game.

Best Need for Speed since Underground 2, amazing customisation variety, although physics are still quite floaty, the game asks you to drift through every corner this makes every car feel kinda same-y, At the time of writing this review i have just under the 3h of playtime, dont let that deceive you, i went through this game once already. EA is getting closer to that perfect Need for Speed.

Edit.1 Forgot to add, soundtrack kinda sucks, alot of trap while playing at night, this game desperately needs Drum and Bass, Neurofunk even, the style of the night setting in this game yearns for darker and faster vibes.

I liked very much in this game it is a huge freedom od tuning a car, a game on the network and open world.
What I didn`t like very much is the too short plot. Graphics are something new.

Gameplay / Story

An unknown racing talent wants to move to the top of the underground scene in the glittering neon metropolis of Palm City based on the US city of Miami - but needs local support to do so. And a mobile pedestal. Because, of course, as a rookie you don't have your own car. And no apartment. And no friends either. Once you have decided on one of the generic hipster characters that can be exchanged at any time, the first route after the action-packed introduction leads to a well-known mechanic in the city who willingly provides one of his vehicles. This is followed by the usual procedure: You increase your account balance by successfully participating in the Speedhunters Showdown in daylight and you increase your reputation in illegal street racing including car chases with the cops in order to make a name for yourself in the scene and with advancements in both other vehicles and vehicles Unlock tuning parts.

If you leave the garage, you have the choice whether you want to make the streets of the city unsafe by day or night. In NFS Heat you can find normal street, offroad and drift, which offer you different rewards.

Hat man sich für eine der generischen und jederzeit austauschbaren Hipster-Figuren entschieden, führt nach der actionreichen Einführung der erste Weg zu einem bekannten Schrauber in der Stadt, der bereitwillig eines seiner Fahrzeuge zur Verfügung stellt. Danach folgt das übliche Prozedere: Man erhöht den Kontostand, indem man bei Tageslicht erfolgreich beim Speedhunters Showdown teilnimmt und steigert beim illegalen Streetracing inklusive Verfolgungsjagden mit den Cops seine Reputation, um sich in der Szene einen Namen zu machen und mit Rangaufstiegen sowohl weitere Fahrzeuge als auch Tuningteile freizuschalten.

Verlässt man die Garage, hat man die Wahl, ob man bei Tag oder Nacht die Straßen der Stadt unsicher machen möchte. Je nachdem stehen unterschiedliche Events zur Auswahl und auch bei den Story-Missionen hängt ein Zugang meist von der Tageszeit ab. Und nicht nur das: In der Regel benötigt man auch einen bestimmten Reputations-Rang, weshalb man nicht selten einen leichten Grind auf sich nehmen muss, um in der mäßigen Geschichte rund um korrupte Cops und Streetracer-Helden voran zu kommen, bei der immerhin die gute deutsche Lokalisierung positiv hervor sticht. Beim Kauf von Fahrzeugen und Tuningteilen muss man sich ebenfalls in Geduld üben, denn zum einen ist die wachsende Auswahl ebenfalls an den Rang gekoppelt und zum anderen ist die Anschaffung nicht gerade billig. Hinzu kommt, dass es z.B. Felgen und Reifen nur als Zweier-Set gibt.Was die ansehnlichen Licht- und Wettereffekte kaschieren ist, dass Palm City eine langweilige Stadt ohne große Höhepunkte ist. Tagsüber badet der regennasse Asphalt in reflektierendem Sonnenlicht, lugen Lichtstrahlen frech hinter Wolkenkratzern hervor und Palmen werfen lange Schatten in die Straßenschluchten. Das sieht toll aus, noch sehenswerter sind aber die Nächte in Palm City. Blau-Pinke Neonbeleuchtung weist Rasern den Weg, bunte Rauchsäulen markieren Startpositionen und die LED-Beleuchtung der Karossen zerschneidet die Dunkelheit des Betons. Doch das wunderbar anzuschauende Lichtspektakel ist kalt, beleuchtet letztlich eine leblose, austauschbare Welt. In NFS Heat findet man normale Street, Offroad und Drift, welche dir verschiedene Belohnungen bieten.

Well, its on sale, why not try it?
I bought this game hoping it is a NFS i can enjoy but soon after i had to realise there are some things that totally went wrong in this title. Prepare to get overly salty with this one.

1. Racing is Arcade and Fun. Somehow in Day and Nightracing the AI sometimes seems to ride a Rocketship rather than a car. Even when i used my Nitro it felt like the AI Cars sped up, just so i could barely catch up to them. On the other hand if i drove my car into a Corner or took a wrong turn and had to reverse onto the track, the competition seemed to have taken a quick nap so i could catch up, except the Number 1 Boss AI on first place, happily floating on the Spaceship it got towards the finish line.

2. Cool Cool Cool. I can demolish alot of the sourroundings and cut corners. Except sometimes you get busted by a minute little Detail that was ankered in the ground by a 40 foot Giant living underneath the Earth and holding on to it with all its weight. Your car will flip, it will stop going from 200 to 0 in 0.1 seconds, other times youll just lose 100 km/h for cutting a corner because you drove through an invisible wall of cling wrap. Very nice, thats how i like to lose a race.

3. Night: This is the part that got me so salty, i could be stored in a museum for the next millenia and id be gucc.
Heres the problem: You need Rep for unlocking most Upgrades to tune your sweet ride, you get rep by racing at night and you get the money by racing at day. If you get busted after doing 3 races at night you will get next to nothing in Rep and you will lose at least 10-20% of the cash you earned during the day.
How to not get busted?
Drive 2 races max per night ( dont know if this gets better in later stages of the game)
if you drove a third race and got a Heat count of 3, congrats. Enjoy wasting your time by outrunning 4 cop cars minimum. Just to get rammed to death after a 15 min life and death struggle to save your freshly earned Rep points. Prepare to get frustratingly close to escaping the Death Platoon Police cars just to take the wrong turn driving into a freshly spawned cop car, sealing your inevitable end and invoking aggression and frustration you have never felt before in your life.

4. The worst part about this experience is. Even if you get your Rep and tune your car etc. You get no real sense of accomplishment through the trials and tribulations you face for it. You drive the car knowing you will get a good load of frustration while enjoying the liveless streets of Palm city.

If you like Getting over it, or have plenty of free time to pour into a game which knows how to trigger you can purchase this title. Hell maybe its fun with friends, but i wouldnt recommend buying this title as a singleplayergame. ( Buy only if on sale)

Another brilliant NFS game! I was really impressed with NFS Payback and boy oh boy, this one is even better!!

Everything is beautifully put together, the story*, the world, the sounds and music, the cars. Just perfect.

You get to pick over 130+ cars, customize them the way you want to, wrap them up and shine on the streets of Palm City by day or race them against the cops by night.
The whole music soundtrack is so so good, it almost felt like i was driving in those streets myself with windows down and harm out of the window.

*The story was good but i feel they could have developed it a bit more, and that's the only less than perfect aspect, although it takes around 10h to complete, the time fly by when you are playing it.

This is hands down the best Need For Speed game since Hot Pursuit 2010.
The game uses the same mechanic as Rivals, when you get caught during a cop chase, you lose part of your XP and a % of all your bank account (raged a couple of times when i saw that i had lost 700k)
Night time is a high-stakes, adrenaline fueled, non-stop game of cat and mouse. You're the mouse and there are a lot of fast and aggresive cats, and even an armored cat.
The game has 100+ vehicles to choose from, and the customization is holy fucking shit, the best since Underground 2.
There are a lot of really nice supercars, but fuck that, you can race anyone with a modified Volkswagen Beetle '63 going beyond 350kpmh with butter-smooth handling.
The story is okay, not good nor bad, just enjoyable.
The graphics are fucking amazing and with the integrated photomode you can quickly take stunning action shots of your cars.
Sadly there is barely any content when you get all, and this game isnt too hard to fully complete, but it is totally worth your time if you enjoyed previous (good, fuck you payback and 2015) NFS games.
If you see this on sale, go for it and dont even think about it.

I enjoy this game alot.
You can play with your friends on consoles ????

A step up from the previous NFS:Payback game but still NOT the Underground we all have been waiting for.

Most interesting aspect of this game is: Cops + Vehicle Sound Customization.

You can swap engines and utterly change how it sounds or you can fine-tune the exhaust sound.
Also you can change turbos and they all sound unique and satisfying!

Played this game for 8 hours on release but never bought it until it came to Steam.
I'm glad I've waited all this time ????

- You can't roll windows down and wave at your friends like in the intro
- Putting sound system in car doesn't make a noticable change ????
- Some songs just repeat over and over again so you end up turning off game music ????
- Not enough car customization like we had in Underground a decade ago.
- Photo mode doesn't have all the features from NFS 2015

Controls are very similar to previous 2 games but different compared to all other sim racing games.

I strongly advise this game to anyone who likes Need For Speed stuff. ????????

Game is fun for the most part, most of the fun to be had is in the side objectives. Once I completed everything in the game and did all the unlock-ables (achievements aside) I never logged back into the game. There isn't a reason to do so either.

If you want a driving/racing game where you can turn off your brain and go autopilot this is what you're looking for. Story definitely isn't compelling, and there isn't much of an incentive to do it besides progressing the game.

Forza Horizon 3 and 4 are better than Need for Speed Heat. Horizon has more cars, more music, better gameplay and a better multiplayer experience. However, if Need for Speed Heat is ON SALE and you are waiting for Forza Horizon 5, then playing Need for Speed Heat becomes interesting to play. You will see how far behind Electronic Arts is when it comes to racing games.

Is a bit more realistic approach, a little less Need For Speed!

+ Beautiful graphics
+ Great gameplay after a couple upgrades
+ Lots of upgrades and customizations
+ Good size map with lots too do and explore
- Damage physics are very poor, tank vehicle - smash through everything
- Rains way too much
- Night cops are motherf*ckers (angry face)
- Night experience can be ruined by those motherf*ckers

NFS doing a solid C+ impression of Forza Horizon. It's a pretty decent way to spend a dozen hours or so to at least see the main campaign through to its conclusion, but there are enough issues to make me hesitant to stick around for much longer than that.

Hopefully the next NFS can continue to improve upon this foundation. If they cleaned up the slightly muddy graphics and texture pop-in and made the garage and part inventory easier to manage, they might actually have a genuinely great game.

If you're gonna get it, get it on EA Play. Or a heavy discount, do not pay full price.

It's not a bad game, it's mediocre, nothing really stands out.. The campaign is cringey, so just skip those cut scenes, people claiming that this is the best NFS or that it compares to old school ones, or even 'Need For Speed Underground 3 reskinned haha' - it is not. I still remember the map of NFS Underground 2, how individual it was, the soundtrack on top of that is one that I haven't forgotten to this day. I still remember roaming the streets in Undercover, ramming all the police. Police chases were fun and not a chore, their cars weren't built like literal tanks. The maps were memorable, the games were special, if you have that expectation, this will leave you feeling let down.. This is yet another forgettable experience delivered by EA.

This however, feels forgettable.. Same goes for the Need for Speed original reboot. I keep giving it a chance and I guess tha's my fault but I just miss how I used to feel.. I want that feeling again.. I want THAT game again. And I'm sure many relate.. The music is sub-par - only real good songs are in the garage and most of which, were already on my spotify playlist lol. The racing is kinda blah, they tried to go the realistic way and to take away from the arcade-ey feel and it's left them in this weird purgatory of a place, where it's neither good nor bad.. The story is.. well, who plays an NFS game for the story, pls stop trying to shove the cringe down our throats. Graphically, it's pretty but Forza is prettier, but that's opinion more than anything.

It feels like a budget Forza Horizon. If steam had a meh button, I'd use that.. because I would still recommend it to anyone who wants to see it all for themselves, hell, people may even enjoy it, I know I didnt hate it, its not a bad game.. Just, disappointing if you had expectations. I will still sit and wait for my Need For Speed Underground 2 remaster.. If I die before that happens, play it on my behalf, thx

I never played any NFS game after completing Carbon but boy am I glad I took a shot at Heat. It scratched my Itch to play Most Wanted. It delivered what I thought would be Most Wanted with a modern look. This is as close as it gets to a Most Wanted Remastered. The Cop AI is not only good but angry in this which makes them very hard to deal with but defeating them gives the same satisfaction that Most Wanted delivered.

The handling feels good. Initiating a drift is simple but satisfying, the camera angle while drifting only adds to the cool factor. Speaking of cool looking, the character customisation unleashes the exaggerated swagger with the use of branded clothing. The car customisation is as awesome as ever but community made liveries make It so much more.

The open world is filled with a lot of side stuff and collectibles, completing the additional driving stories rewards with unique cars. Sadly, some of them offer under-levelled parts which do not spark joy. If you want to collect each and every car here then be prepare to grind, as for me, I completed the story(which was decent with some Epic moments) by only buying 3 cars.

The 58 songs selected for this are absolute gems. I am still vibin to em as I am writing this.

First of all, I gotta say this game is visually beautiful. There are a lot of graphic options to optimize, so far it's best NFS in that aspect. Does this game run well? Well, I can only speak for myself and so far this game runs better than NFS Payback & NFS (2015). Loading screens are really short even on HDD and I don't even mind watching it because of great music and cinematics.

Atmosphere is really nice. Rain textures, day & night cycle, lights, reflection, ambient, cars.. is all visually impressive. Palm City is stunning.

Music is okay! I really loved the beats. Different songs for day & night to make the vibes better and music blends in with other sounds which makes it even better. Sound in general is really good in this game.

There are a lot of cars to choose from, but no Supra? That's kinda disappointing. Tuning and handling the car is really easy. There is a lot of customization. You can choose to play online or solo. I liked the option that you can choose your own character out of 10? characters and customize their appearance, finally a more immersive NFS. Voice acting is well done.

Activities are similar like NFS Payback. You can destroy billboards, complete jumps, drifts and speedtraps. During the day you complete races to earn money. During the night you can earn REP (level up). When you race at night you increase Heat and police will pursuit you on sight and higher Heat will make pursuits more difficult (unless you go to garage and end the night which resets the Heat). If you get caught you lose a lot of money. Police is very difficult in this game and you will want to avoid them at all time. Makes the game more alive and challenging.

Verdict: This game is just as fun I had when I played Underground 2 and Most Wanted, just add Supra and it will be perfect!

I finished the main story line in one session.
Kinda got addicted. I am not normally a fan of driving games but this game i really enjoyed. Thank you very much, looking forward for the next game in the series.

The main reason for me to play any game is to have fun and entertain myself and this game delivers that, so this is the only reason for me to recommend it, cops can give you a real hard time if don't have the right car to get away with and this is awesome, customization is as great as you would expect from a NFS game, overall sounds are also great for a arcade game, but that's where the good points about this game ends.

Handling model is just terrible (not to say something worse), feels like a mobile game at best, racing experience is bad, cars feels like they weight 10 tons and are glued to the ground for some odd reason and NO, I don't want this to become a simulator, just a bit more realistic, Forza Horizon games have an amazing handling model, physics and they are still pure arcade games.

DRIFTING, Jesus Christ I never thought I would see something that is even worse than drifting in The Crew 2 until I played NFS Heat, drifting in this game is HARDER than doing it in REAL LIFE, it is unrealistic, uncontrollable and boring, total SH*T to be honest.

At last, I had fun playing it, story is short but entertaining, if you are a casual racing game player you will truly enjoy Need for Speed Heat.

Get it on a massive sale since the developer was forced to abandon the game thanks to EA's great practices. They hype up the game for a year and suddenly abandon it because they just don't feel like updating it anymore. This has been the issue with Ghost Games whose staff is mostly in Criterion Games. They develop a game from the ground up only to be forced by EA to release the games on an unreal deadline.

TL;DR-Offers 30 hours of decent entertainment. Just don't buy it at full price.

Detailed:
EA has been producing Need For Speed games in this weird bubble where they think that are the only racing game that exists. That said, Heat is better than the other NFS games that have preceded it in recent memory.
It offers decent entertainment for 30 hours or so, with good enough customisation, alright racing and some multiplayer. They did try to push the MMO aspect of the game, but it seems to fall short, because I only encountered an online lobby with more than 1-2 people once.
Taking each aspect of the game one by one:

The Campaign Story: It's ok at best. There is nothing stellar about the story, but nothing too bad either. Dialogue is a little too cringe maybe.

Cars: There is a decent selection of cars, with some charming oddball cars. However, you will soon find out that you need only approximately 3-4 cars to beat the campaign with ease, so there is no real requirement to diversify your garage. The drift and offroad story lines are lackluster and offer little to no incentive (covered later).

Modifications: The modifications are good. There are many real life bodykits and wheels you can choose from, made by actual companies. The wrap editor offers good control and option to customize your paint and decals, and the community wrap section is great if you want to save yoursef the hassle. There are some really nice wraps there.

Progression: Continuing from the point above, the campaign can be beaten with 3-4 cars. Money is available very easily, with races 4-6 minutes long paying out very big dollars. However, there are only 3-4 races that offer this. The older races on the map, that unlock as you increase the performance of your car, don't really scale their performance requirement or payout in relation to your current vehicle. Another aspect of progression I find very egregious is the loot at the end of the drift and offroad side-missions-spun-into-a-story. These events require, towards the end, a performance rating of 300-320 out of a maximum of 400, but the rewards for beating these events are around 140. At that point, I have no need to use that prize vehicle ever, as my current vehicle that I modified to beat this style of event is many-fold better than the rewarded car.
Another major issue here is the end game activities, or the lack thereof. There is no reason for me to grind out races after finishing the campaign. The night races that unlock at heat 3 and heat 5 have only so much they can offer, and get monotonus after a very short time. Other than that, there is no real end game here.

Gameplay: The driving is very arcade, but the game seems to favour drifting than braking and turning as far as going the fastest around a bend is concerned. This almost punishes you for having a car with maximum grip. However, the cars towards the other end at full drift spec will slide if you even breathe on the steering, making them very hard to control. The MMO aspect adds no real value to the game, other than racing against other players.
One point I'd like to highlight here is the cops. At lower levels, the cops are so overpowered you will cower in fear. However, once you reach performance 300+, they become so easy to deal with, its not really a challenge. EA has been unable to strike a balance for the cops that feels like it is easy enough for someone learning the ropes, but difficult enough for someone that has spent significant time in the game. The AI drivers in the races are also very lackluster, and seem to be just filling in the spots at the race.

Graphics and Sound: The models used for player cars are great and very detailed. The NPC cars however, are not as good. It doesn't really crop up as an issue if youre driving at speed, but deeply affects immersion if you're stationary. The world design is decent, and has a good enough mix of roads to drive on.

All in all, this game is decent, but not at full price. If you're spending AAA money, you're better off spending it elsewhere. If you get the game at a discount though, its an alright buy that works good in its isolated environment. Too bad Forza exisits on PC, and got more things right than this.

Needs private lobbies. If 5 people are roaming at night and screwing with new players, how are we supposed to play the game? Trying to find a new session doesn't work, they're still sitting there in souped-up trucks smashing into you so you can't go anywhere.

The game is just a griefing simulator if you go into online, and I don't think they have any intention on changing that. Stay offline, which means no playing with the friends I wanted to play with... I guess it's back to GTA for us, because we can create private sessions there at least.

Heat is the best Need for Speed game ever made. This is coming from someone who really loved Underground back in the day. I don't like numbered ratings, but there should be plenty in this review to give you the chance to form your own opinion. Also note that although this game has been out for a while, it’s still being updated.

The style this game has is just unbeatable. Its audiovisual fidelity is fantastic, but it's the way that everything is animated, and the way the game smoothly transitions that really gets me. For instance, the way the music changes when you head out of the garage while keeping the beat going. I can't tell you how good these details actually feel.

That being said, this game's visuals are sometimes held back by sharpening and grain effects. This isn't something you're likely to notice a lot as the game is beautifully stylized, but you should know these effects can't be removed in the options. The only way to get rid of them if you want soft visuals in scenes where the sharpening is too intense is downloading a mod. I have tested said mod and believe me when I say it's not worth it. Because of the way the game's visuals were built from the ground up to rely on sharpening and grain, the mod makes everything incredibly bright, to the point that if you're facing toward the sun you won't be able to see a thing.

The way the cars look, feel and sound is outstanding. There is a ton of customization options you can use from the very beginning, and plenty more to earn along the way. You can quickly download skins for your cars from the community or take the time to make your own and upload them for others to enjoy. You can change not only the engines of your cars but also swap out smaller pieces within them for better parts. And the most expensive upgrade with the most horsepower isn't always your best choice, it all depends on what you want to do with your car. You can even modify the sound of your exhaust to your liking. In addition to your car, you can also customize your character’s appearance. It's a great experience all around.

This game brings something new to NFS in the form of its day and night cycle. Whenever you leave your garage, you can choose whether you want it to be day or night. As long as you're racing in the day, it will never change to the night, but you can elect to change it at any time in any place. I really love the way this works because you never have to wait around for day and night activities to become available. This works even in online play, so that players are separated according to their chosen time of day. During the day, you can engage in official, organized races to compete for money. At night, you can race through traffic in the streets for reputation, which also means you’ll have to deal with cops. You can outrun them, you can crash them, or you can hide from them. The more nighttime activities you complete, the more your total earned reputation multiplies. Hold it for too long and you might not be able to cash it in. This creates a lot of intense moments, and it’s also the only way to earn the best parts for your car.

As for your car choices, there’s a huge assortment of cars you can pick from, and whichever you pick, the deep customization options will let you make it your own. The lowest car can compete against the top tier if you equip it a certain way, so don’t be discouraged if you want to keep a car you think looks cool. You can. The game even lets you pick your difficulty for all races involving the AI, and you won’t be penalized for putting it on easy. If you want to test your skills before going against other players, hard difficulty will always have one racer who moves at lightning speed so you can gauge how fast you’re going. In Heat, the most important thing is that you make clean corners and retain as much speed as possible doing so, so player skill trumps top speed. Using a controller also give you a huge advantage.

In case you’re more interested in drifting, Heat has you covered there, too. This time around it works differently from previous games, and lots of people have problems with drifting. The thing is you can’t just take any car and drift with it. You need to carefully select what you put in the car to make it capable of drifting, and even then it takes some practice. You can pick whether you want to drift with your brakes like before, or with gas, which feels far more fluid once you’ve become accustomed to it.

Although you can pick any car you want and modify it to do whatever you want it to do, some cars will be better for some things. If your goal in this game is to enjoy daytime and midnight racing on a huge map with loads to do, either solo or with friends by your side, this will never be an issue. However, if your goal is to compete against other players online, there are very few choices you have when picking your car. Most notably there is the infamous Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 2.8. If you pick the right engine and parts for it, it’s unbeatable. The way it accelerates and then retains speed after corners because of its incredible handling makes it better than even the most expensive cars in the shop. On paper this doesn’t seem possible, since it doesn’t have the horsepower or the top speed of those cars, but I can confirm it’s actually the fastest car ever. I’m not a huge fan of what the car looks like, even when customized, but that’s the price you pay for being competitive.

Alongside regular and drift races you also have lots of other things to do in Palm City. This includes story missions, side missions, black market missions, and finding various collectibles. All of these will give you various rewards ranging from parts and customization options to whole cars, and surprisingly I found finding the collectibles quite fun as it shows you parts of the world you would never have noticed otherwise. It gave me a deeper appreciation for this game. Of course, it’s not obligatory for you to do if you don’t feel like it, and the customization options locked behind finding them likely won’t hold your creativity back. The things I sometimes found annoying were the small activities scattered around the map, particularly the speed traps. If you're a completionist, you’ll eventually run into these. The issue with them is that Heat has a ton of traffic, and some of the roads around Palm City are too narrow to overtake. You basically have to try and try again until finally there is less traffic in your way so you can gain some speed, and then hope a truck doesn’t come out of an intersection and block your road completely. Cars also have a tendency to brake right in the middle of the road after coming out of intersections. It’s almost funny how often that happens. Almost.

The story missions have a little bit of everything, and they remind me a lot of Fast and Furious storylines. It’s cheesy but it’s good. My only complaint is that it’s too short, so the characters don’t have enough time to become memorable. The missions won’t unlock new parts of the map as was the case in Underground, but they will show you around the map. You can actually explore the entire map right as you start the game up, although some activities won’t show up until you reach a certain reputation level. If you’re interested in social play, you can always just ignore the story missions.

All in all, despite my complaints, the game leaves a really good impression. It's even better than Forza Horizon in my opinion because of the way the cars feel, the UI design, and all the stylized details NFS Heat has. It's also only 4€ if you get the EA Play subscription. You can cancel it as soon as you buy it so you don't get automatically charged next month and wait and see until you're sure you want it again. It will give you full access to this game, not some trial version, and many other titles. When the subscription ends you don't get to keep access to NFS Heat, but you do keep all of your game progress.

This game is so dissapointing, at least its better than need for speed payback which was arguably one of the worst nfs games ever. It had horrible catchup, a horrible story with bad characters and the worst map ive ever seen. This game has some cool features like great car customization, a decent selection of many cars, great car sounds and cool character customization. Sucks that the handling is shit, the difficulty setting doesn't seem to change anything, the game runs like shit on pc and is buggy, the story is once again so forgettable and all the cars and menus are completely recycled from need for speed payback. I recommend playing this game if you have EA play but don't pay 60 euros for this half assed game.

The good: The gameplay is fun, graphics are gorgeous and sound design is great. A wide variety of car selection and a great customization system, thanks to community-made decals/wraps and performance options. You might be overwhelmed by the amount of collectibles and activities in the game but they are very do-able and short.

The bad: The game goes for an outrun aesthetic but the soundtrack is latino music, and not particularly my taste since I don't like reggaeton and trap. The campaign is short and comically badly written. Low variety of race types: only sprint (normal and Hot Pursuit), circuit and drift events.

Overall a 7.5/10, best NFS since 2012. Get it on sale only because it took me around 31 hours to 100% the game.

This game is a nice mix of GRID-like race mechanics, in a GTA-like shiny environment with a Fast'n'Furious-like gangsta feel to it. The graphics is amazing, the difficulty is playable and I don't have to pay real money to win in races. Kind of reminds me of NFS: Underground. Sometimes I wish I had more Nitrous boost with the possibility of regulation how much of it I actually use. Although this game has real car and environment damage, sometimes it is too forgiving, which can also be a good thing.

The solo offline story only has 4 chapters, but if your goal is to get all achievements, the game time may be worth the price.

I still have to try playing Online.

Great game, but the PC port pisses me off. If you have a Dolby Vision display, kiss HDR goodbye cause unless you like staring at a black screen and just hearing audio, the game is unplayable so have fun with that. Also my save game keeps getting reset. I beat the game but then like a few weeks later my progress reset, hen I started playing through it again and it just reset again today. If you have a PS4 or Xbox One, get this game on that instead, or don't get the game at all so EA don't get any money because I'm sick and tired of their bullshit!

good open world racing game just like all the need for speeds before it this one is great with a nice story line and alot of racing buy new cars upgrade them and get on the road

Need For Speed: Heat is in my opinion the best NFS in the last 10 years. I played over 50 hours on Origin when it released. It takes a lot of the strengths from previous games and removes MOST of the weak points. For instance it takes the fun, varied and busy open world from Rivals, and combines that with a much higher stakes experience at night with cops on even more roids. Plus you only get 3 repairs for your car at night, unlike in Rivals where you could infinitely repair yourself. I do like how they split the XP into night, and money into Day. This does make for a very simple progression system that lets you choose what you want to work on. They did away with the awful, atrocious and crappy upgrade system from Payback and simply... let you buy the upgrades you want. Crazy, right? Plus customization is really well done, let's you choose and customize nearly every single cosmetic option on your car.

I will say the Day races get pretty boring after a while, especially since only a few races give very much cash for beating it and they tend to be really long, circular, simple tracks. It takes a bit of grinding day races if you want to afford a really expensive car + upgrades + customization. However, if you go for a car you really want it's worth it.

Night racing is where the games becomes so much fun. The atmosphere and music is top notch. You start off simple at Heat Level 1 where only basic cop cars chase you, at that point you can often wreck them by steering aggressively side to side or by leading them into an obstacle. Level 2 you get slightly more improved cops, you might gain 1 or 2 more chasing you at the same time. Level 3 is where the difficulty spikes and you may find yourself getting chased by Corvette's and spikes getting dropped. At this point you had better have a plan in mind because you start taking massive damage, with only gas stations to repair yourself or a one time use repair kit.

Level 5 the game is absolutely nuts, you need a top of the line/max upgraded car to even hope to outrun anything. Helicopters, spikes, 5 - 10 cops chasing you, roadblocks, and even Rhinos (armored trucks) trying to smash you ends in an extremely chaotic and brutal chase. As promised, it's incredibly high stakes because you can gain multiple levels of XP by surviving but if you crash, or get busted, you lose EVERYTHING.

Another point worth mentioning is the awesome variety of cars, complete with many classics from previous games. For instance I was absolutely JAZZED to see the Countach return from NFS High Stakes, in addition to the Diablo SV. The classic Murcielago from NFS Hot Pursuit 2, as well as other ones like Dodge Viper, Corvette Z06 and others. Just such awesome call backs to previous glorious games that really bring out my nostalgia.

Overall NFS Heat is nearly all good, I do wish they kept the ways to fight back against the cops from Rivals, as you mainly have defensive tactics in Heat. However it does mean you need to focus on racing better and being strategic instead of just spamming a button to EMP a cop or something. Soundtrack is mostly great, especially at night. It's the best option you have for modern NFS at this point, I think.

What's the point of EA putting games on Steam if they're backdoors to install and force the use of Origin... oh that IS the point. The Origin integration does NOT work, but before you even get to experience its failure it has to migrate your steam friends list to Origin because they want to tell their stock holders and investers, more people play with their friends on Origin!

There are several of us that have un-answered support issues with the game just not launching, some are resolved by running Steam as Administrator but if that doesn't work then just get a refund. None of us should need to run our videogames as Administrator anyway, this whole situation as a consumer is frustrating and un-necessary. Also, its not steamlink compatible, so even if you wanted to chill on the couch and play a racing game away from the keyboard, you can't. Basically this is a horrible purchase, don't do it.
