[p]We continue with exciting insights into the development of our Line 186![/p][p][/p][p]This time, we’re taking you to Berlin’s Steglitz district. At the center of attention is one of the area’s most distinctive landmarks: the Steglitzer Kreisel.[/p][p][/p][p]What makes it special is the integrated bus loop: vehicles drive directly into the building, passengers can conveniently get on and off, and then the buses leave the structure again.[/p][p]A true one-of-a-kind in Berlin, which we are of course faithfully recreating in OMSI. The high-rise above the structure has been less fortunate — a permanent construction site for years now — but the Kreisel still remains a prominent landmark in southern Berlin as well as a bustling transport hub.[/p][p][/p][p]At a later stage, we’ll also be showing you images from inside the Kreisel. Work is still very much ongoing there, so the building will receive its own dedicated entry in our developer diary series later on.[/p][p]In addition, we’re sharing the first images from Birkbuschstraße. Here we’re still working on replacing objects and making the surroundings even closer to reality. Typical Berlin apartment buildings in gray, beige, or soft pastel tones define the streetscape. Many small shops and eateries bring the street to life — a detail we will, of course, reflect in the game as well.[/p][p][/p][p]Important note: All buses visible in the screenshots are currently only placeholders used for testing purposes. They do not indicate which vehicles will be included in the final add-on.[/p][p]As always: The images shown are from a work-in-progress version.
