We just released a hotfix on the beta branch for the Anniversary Update! With this update, we're fixing a bunch of issues that came up since release and were reported to us by the community – thank you ♥
This update will once again only be available on the beta branch – so if you want to try it out, make sure you're on the right version! Go to your library in Steam, right-click on Railroads Online, open Properties, go to Betas, and select "Beta" under "Beta Participation - an update will now be triggered.
The update isn't available for you yet? Please make sure to verify your game files after downloading the update: Go to your library in Steam, right-click on Railroads Online, open Properties, go to Installed files and click on "Verify integrity of game files".

New Features
- Added the ability to control multiple Units [list]
- To gain access to this feature simply couple your engines together then to the rest of the cars
- This is an automatic feature for ease of use
- It works for several locomotives coupled together, no matter which directions
- You will always see the controls of the locomotive in which you entered
- A single engine controls all connected engines [list]
- Brake
- Throttle
- Reverser
- Whistle

Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where first person sliders would not change increments until the mouse button was let go
- Fixed an Issue with brake not applying until higher values
- Fixed an issue where cars would stop a train when trying to couple to them
- Fixed an issue where language options were not saving properly [list]
- Note: some settings are global setting meaning, they are saved meaning settings are saved across all saves until the player changes them, weather, fuel, couplers, autosave, time of day, etc

[*] Fixed an issue where it was hard to select a car or train when it was derailed upside down

[*] Fixed an issue where turning graphics settings to low caused the ground to disappear
[*] Disabled right clicking in the construction menu
- This caused some confusion with players on how to spawn items
- To open sub menus
- Left click on the 4 colored boxes in the upper right of the left menu
- Once the sub menu opens Left click on the item you want
- Right clicking no longer spawn objects or opens menus
- Removed a knuckle from the cook 2-6-0 on the rear of the cab [list]
- Tender now couple properly
- Adjusted front knuckle coupler
- Adjusted front marker lights
- They should no longer fall out of the pockets when derailed
- Takes about 15 seconds to recover 1 sand
- Takes about 10 seconds to recover 1 water

- Steam should now flow smoothly like it did pre-anniversary update

- FPS set by the host for the server will update for clients after a few seconds

- Server list now shows correct ping
- Removed player count, when joining a full server a prompt will be displayed
- Locos and cars paints should match the colors as the host
- Fixed an issue where locos were missing parts
- Fixed an issue where the shay had no collider on the front of the cab
- Fixed an issue where freight lost their hit boxes after being derailed
- Re Added the chair prop
- Re Added the water tower prop

- Added an alternate route to Pine Valley for the iron ore mine to help with early game. About a 3% grade then the final stretch is a slow 6% climb.
