Ich habe einen AMD Ryzen 3 3200g mit einer Geforce GTX 960 Grafikkarte von Nvidia und war dementsprechend überrascht das dieses Spiel mit einer super Grafik und mit 60-70fps lief. Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet. Sobald ich das Geld habe werde ich mir die Vollversion besorgen!

Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo

Einleitung:
Wie schon beim Vorgänger hat sich Capcom dazu entschlossen eine Demo zum neuen Resident Evil 3 raus zu bringen. Eine sehr gute Entscheidung und auch eine positive auch für uns Spieler. So können wir sehen ob unsere Hardware passt und uns auch für einen Kauf entscheiden, wenn uns das Spiel gefällt. Mir selber sagt das Spiel weniger zu, aber testen wollte ich es trotzdem. Will auch nur eine kurze Übersicht hier gestalten, da man sich die Eindrücke selber schaffen kann.

Handlung
Wir spielen in der Demo Jill Valentine und bekommen einen kurzen Einblick ins Spiel. Anders als beim letzten Mal, ist es möglich sich Zeit zu lassen.

Pro:

+ guter Einblick ins neue Spiel
+ Grafik ist es ein Meisterwerk
+ top Klang ob es die Stimmen sind oder Umgebungsgeräusche

Contra:

- sehr kleines Inventar und das ist echt nervig
- die Steuerung ist für mich ungeeignet

Fazit:
Ich bin kein Horror Fan und auch die Spiele gehen mir ein wenig aufs Gemüt. Die Filme mag ich ziemlich gerne, dafür das es halt Horrorfilme sind. Allein in der Demo merkt man, dass sich Capcom da wieder ziemlich Mühe gegeben hat. Sollte man sich auf jeden Fall anschauen. Also zieht es euch rein, wenn ihr einen eigenen Einblick braucht.

???? Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo ????

Nach dem erfolgreichen Remake von Resident Evil 2 im Januar letzten Jahres, setzt CAPCOM Co., Ltd. weitere Titel als Remake um und erlaubt es uns, wie bei ReSi 2 auch, vorab eine kleine Demo zu spielen.

Gameplay

Wir dürfen, anders als beim letzten Mal, so viel und so lange spielen wie wir möchten, wobei es insgesamt wenig zu entdecken gibt. So kommt es auch, dass man binnen 30 Minuten eigentlich alles gesehen hat. Im doch recht kurzen Verlauf begegnet einem auch Nemesis. Im Original von 1999 trug das Spiel auch seinen Namen im Titel: „Resident Evil 3: Nemesis“. Wir selbst spielen selbstverständlich Jill Valentine, denn ReSi 3 spielt zeitlich nur Stunden vor und nach dem zweiten Teil.

Grafisch hat man sich natürlich wieder verbessert und reicht an die Qualität des Remakes vom zweiten Teil heran. Davon überzeugen kann man sich, wenn man einen Moment Inne hält und sich die Texturen genauer betrachtet und die Detailschärfe und Detailverliebtheit betrachtet. Grandios! Auch akustisch ist das Spiel wieder hervorragend, wie man eigentlich nicht anders erwarten konnte. Es kommt schon jetzt eine gute und düstere Atmosphäre auf, die definitiv Lust auf mehr macht.

Fazit

Mit dieser kurzen, aber atmosphärischen Demo teasert uns Capcom richtig an und macht Lust auf den Release des Hauptspiels, welches am 4. April erscheinen und 60 Euro kosten soll. Wer sich also ein Bild machen möchte, ob er das Spiel kaufen sollte, der erhält hier eine hervorragende Möglichkeit! Daher eine klare Empfehlung.

Nemesis ist ein gigantischer, sehr gruseliger Gegner.
Dieses Mal hat man kein Zeit Limit und kann sich auch ein wenig umsehen aber in maximal 30min ist es dann erledigt und man will mehr. Mehr Zombies und Chaos.

Das einzige was mich stört ist das kleine Inventar (immer zu wenig Platz) und das ich mit dem Messer nicht recht umgehen kann. Munition ging mir auch nicht aus.

Fazit

Sollte das Hauptspiel wieder so gut werden wie das Demo, dann hat Capcom es wieder Mal geschafft.

I should have just played this instead and left the main game alone. At this point it's common sense and knowledge, but this demo harbors the one and only great part of RE3: the beginning area. It's all downhill from there, and the game turns into Hollywood action movie 101. It's a shame, considering all the potential.

I am sure i am not supposed to walk into nemesis 3 minutes in, then running into twenty zombies , whilst he keeps chasing, finally finding a place to hide i literally am in the textures of the building in a creepy grey fog. t is glitchy af even for a demo. oh well.

I enjoyed RE2: Remake so wanted to try this before buying. Because it's a demo, for me at least, the controls and combat felt kinda sluggish and it took a few head shots to take down a zombie, and going for limbs (like knees) didn't work either. I'm kinda on the fence if I will buy this down the road or not, likely will wait for a huge drop in price. Looks great, though. And Voice Actors did a great job from what I heard.

I played the demo here but I have the full version on my PS4. Wonderful Resident evil 3 experience, the gun play is better than RE2, and the graphics are cool, the environment is nostalgic. However the game fails in setting up it's own goals, this should be an improvement from the previous RE3 classic, its not. RE3 classic is still the better game here. RE3 remake takes steps backwards on purpose, I don't understand why ? the zombie models were better in RE2 remake , boss battles were also better in the last game. and For some stupid reason they removed some of the iconic areas in the classic RE3. Capcom why the hell would you remove content ? shouldn't u be adding content to the classic game ? Still I would recommend for RE fans. I am disappointed because this could have been one of the best Resident Evil of all time surpassing all its predecessors even RE4, but Capcom decided not to do that.

I really love Resident Evil games. Graphic is very good, camera angles the gameplay i like a lot. I don't know how it would be in a full version, but in demo you can't control saves at all and the game becomes unplayable. You can't prepare to a moment in a game when you already died and lost many things, and you know you probably need to die many times to understand how to solve the problem. But no, you can't. Somewhere in the start you enter a donut cafe it automatically saves and a lot of things you do to collect bullets, weapons, herbals and other stuff. Than go back and see that a boss appears and one hit kills you, than you need to do the whole thing again and again, repeat the same moves and spend a lot time just for a one moment, to die in a one second.
And you can't save when you want, oh the second time i thought, oh maybe when i destroy those bighead dolls i see a saving sighn, maybe it would remember what i done till that moment, but not. One hit die and do all the steps again.
Game is amazing.
Autosave without control is trash.
Not going to spend more time for it.

-Clocktower
-Park/Cemetery
-Spiders
-Giant worm
-Mercenaries
-The effing choice system
-Alternate ending/Randomized alternate events during the game
-Dismemberment mechanics
RE2R came out in January 2019, this one came out in April 2020, it was obviously rushed.

About 20-30 minutes of game content, but absolutely sufficient for a Demo.

I really enjoyed the whole playtime. What I especially like was the atmosphere and the sidestep / dodge mechanic, which is similiar to the RE3 original.
The graphics look also great and only require moderate PC hardware.

Seems like a good remake at first glance!

So I ran past Nemesis to the fire hydrant. Nemesis disappeared to the thin air immediately after going through fence and popped up right after hosing down fire animation. Yeah it's demo, but if this happens on demo then I guess there will be similar events in the full game. I might buy full game from deep sales in the future to try. But this didn't really make me want the full game. Also feeling was quite too similar to RE2

TL;DR: Amazing demo with great graphics, tense atmosphere, and some horror.

I will be buying the full game.

Graphics: Top notch AAA. My hardware is pretty old but it runs at 60fps on low settings and looks beautiful. Most won't care about this, but the detailed graphics settings menu does a good job of explaining exactly how much your computer can handle. Beautiful animations and set pieces.

Gameplay: Great, action packed, and tense. Not as tense or good as the Resident Evil 2 Remake, but that's comparing great to amazing. There are some glaring issues like the use of an unlimited knife which reduces the tension. And a trial and error feel to the boss.

Story: You get only a snippet in this demo, but it's definitely well-written and gives a good motivation to the main character.

Other thoughts: I get the realism thing but I wish Jill Valentine was hotter, like in the original PS1 version.

Really short demo but actually showed what to expect from the game. Enjoyed the demo and the official. Doesnt matter what other people think or say about it but i do agree that this game should have been a lot longer than the official final product.

Movement feels better than RE2.
Zombies feel tackier than RE2 but the dodge mechanic make things easy ones master.
Nemesis is more of a steamroller than ever.
You can save a lot of ammo by using the barrels and transformers.
Graphics, Characters, Environment and Dialog are amazing.
So far i'm liking it

CAPCOM, maybe a new DinoCrisis??? Please...
