serves great as pure zombie action shooter although its far away from what resident evil basically stands for.
no inventory management anymore, no survival aspect but fast paced combat with sick bosses.
its still a super great game that offers a ton of content and fun but if youre looking for something oldschool that plays out slowly youre wrong here.

I have about 1672 hours played of this game from playing with friends or on my own, is it the best out of the resident evil franchise? No, but I will always love this game, it got me into the resident evil series after all. I would recommend this game to anyone who would want to play with friends or meet other people, the extra modes are the best part, but I love playing the campaigns as well.

It was a very enjoyable experience.
It's not tense or scary like other RE games, but it's packed with awesome action. All four campaigns were amazing and if you play them in order, you will fully understand the story with Ada's campaign. It was refreshing and nice final touch.
Boss fights were mostly awesome and each Campaign felt just enough different due to pacing and other features.
All in all, easily 20 hours of Gameplay.

Objectively speaking , this game is a mess ! the story feels like it's out of a fanfiction , the whole game is so overdesigned , the music is the most bland military / action movie style soundtrack ever , the villain is a generic asshole , you can talk about the problems for 2 hours straight ! but if you're someone like me , who'd let a lot of things slide by if the game is fun enough and filled with ridiculousness ... give it a shot ! worst case scenario , you'll absolutely despise it and remove it from your account , then burn down your pc and change your identity , so you can wipe it from your past , but if you're into over the top nonsense , this is your s h i t !

It pains me to not recommend Resident Evil 6. There is a reason why Capcom did a soft reboot of the franchise after this game came out. I felt that Resident Evil 4 was prefect in which it kept the horror feel of the franchise and introduced new controls. Resident Evil 5 strayed far from it's horror roots and pretty much became an action game. Resident Evil 6 is Die hard with zombies, plain and simple. Even though you get to play in a zombie infested town like Raccoon City, the horror falls off when you are suplexing and drop kicking zombies left and right. Another thing that I dislike is that Capcom made this into an action game, but ammo is scarce. What gives? I found myself going WWE on those zombies more often because I barely had any ammo.

I felt that Resident Evil 6 was way too much for Capcom to handle and it came out a mess. It plays and controls such like RE5, but you get some extra moves that you can do like sliding and dropping for cover. The set pieces from this game reminds me of something out of a Michael Bay film. I like how this game has several playable characters and different campaigns, but the story does not make sense and is at many times, laughable. I felt that the connecting campaigns and several playable characters was the reason why this game was a mess. On paper, this sounds great, but was not executed well. Maybe Capcom should have just kept it to one playable campaign. If you are a big Resident Evil fan, give this one a try but it is not the best of the series.

This game is a QTE simulator.
makes this game a constant frustration and rips you out of the immersion. i'm on chapter 3 of Leon's story, and I have no idea what's going on, how I got where I am, and experienced about 200 QTEs -_-

I put off playing this game since launch because I read its way more action than survival horror. Back when the game released I decided to give the demo a shot and I'll never forget the moment Leon gets a cop car, drives it like a maniac for less than 30 seconds and wrecks it. I couldnt help but think that it makes absolutely zero sense that a guy with this calibur, training and history cant control even control a car properly.

If youre old enough like me, youll remember way back in the very first game at the final boss...all things look bleak, youre running out of time and there's no possible way to defeat him, but then you get the rocket launcher- the final last bit of hope. That was an epic moment. Fast forward to RE6, and those epic moments are littered so much so that it just become incomprehensible, cliche and utterly ridiculous. I've only completed Leon's campaign, and while it was great to see most of the cast of past RE games return, the sheer amount of insane events that happen had me rolling my eyes over and over. The game acts like these characters arent human but superheroes- youll survive a car crash, plane wreck, being underwater fighting a giant fish and dozens of other events that just make the game look silly...and this is all just in Leon's campaign- there's 3 more campaigns that I believe take place parallel to each other so its probably more of the same for the rest of them.

The hud and inventory system is a mess, one of the worst ive ever seen. You'll also get tons of ammo but burn through it so fast because this game is all about nonsensical action. Its like Michael Bay wrote and directed everything, shaky cam and all.

Then there are the loads of QTE's in the game...but they can be turned off, at least thats what i thought. I used the option to turn them off, but the game still prompted them every time. And there are a LOT of them. Completely unnecessary for this game.

Then came the bosses. Theyre all just bullet sponges, and dont react much when you shoot them, so it made it difficult to tell if i was doing damage or not and felt less satisfying. And speaking of bosses, the final boss you have to fight 4, 5, maybe 6 times before he actually dies. Thats just absurd.

Ive played every numbered RE game (not incuding 7 yet) and both Revelations games. RE3 (the original) was probably the weakest out them due to the scope and amount of backtracking in the game, but im not saying its a bad game, just my least personal favorite. This game is by far the worst RE I've played though, and probably will be for a long time.

Over the years, Resident Evil 6 has gotten a lot of bad press for being a poor entry in the RE series, but in my opinion it's been for all of the wrong reasons. Don't go into this expecting a bone-chilling horror game, but rather an intense and fast-paced Left 4 Dead-style action zombie hoard shooter and you will have a blast both solo or with friends.

Even at face value, it's a drastic improvement over the 5th entry in terms of fluidity and AI mechanics, but on a deeper level the game also has some impressively intuitive action sequences that supplement guns, melee, and free movement unlike other RE games up to this point. Actions such as counter attacks, finishers, along with rolls and dives, are all easily executed and feel very satisfying. There is a heavy load of QTE (Quick Time Events) found throughout the multiple character driven campaigns however, and they can be a little bothersome.

Another main criticism is found within the actual story of the campaigns, but I found most of them to be a pretty solid and digestible experience. They all seem to present themselves as a thrill ride of sorts while never being too serious as not to deter from the main attraction of mowing down zombies with your pals.

Resident Evil 6 also carries with it some impressive replay value. Offering a new No Hope Mode was a nice addition to us seasoned players that enjoy the most brutal challenges. In my opinion, unlike other RE entries, the difficulty is not found within clunky movement or awkward scenarios, but rather intensive encounters that require a quick hand (aka the formula to a good hoard shooter in my opinion).

Writing this review at close to 200 hours with 100% Steam Achievements, I can easily say this game deserves a higher spot on people's lists of RE games just given how solid of a package it is.

P.S. Best Mercenaries Mode (and theme) in the series hands down.

Well, I tried, I really did. I trudged my way through Leon's campaign and forced myself through Chris' campaign until I got to a section where merely being nudged by an enemy drops you into the water which is someone an insta-kill. It was after the fifth time in a row of falling into the water when seemingly nothing had hit me when I realized I was not having fun. I was forcing myself to finish this game I do not like, for what? Just to say I did? I don't like leaving games unfinished, but RE6 you did it, you broke me.

There are many things wrong with this game, one being the story. It's really dumb and I hate it. Which is the case for a lot of video games I like because hey, you can skip a bad story, but you can't skip bad gameplay. But in the case of RE6 there are tons of unskippable mini cutscenes. Deal some damage to a boss. Unskippable cutscene of the boss recoiling. To some more damage to a boss, unskippable cutscene of it transforming. Oh and another thing about boss battles, they never end. They really stretch out these encounters that aren't fun in the first place, there's a part where you fight a snake boss, pretty standard for a RE game, but every time you deal a certain amount of damage to it it moves to a new room, and this process repeats five or six times and it's just so mindnumbingly boring. But whatever, people like this game for the combat, right?

The combat is fine, you suplex zombies which while being incredibly dumb is pretty fun. I try to use as little ammo as possible and just punch everyone to death which is effective and indeed fun. The combat is overly complicated, but at the end of the day quite shallow, and it's not enough to carry such a bloated game. I didn't finish the game obviously, but it's about 24 hours long. 24 hours of punching zombies in the face is about 19 hours too long.

If I wrote about everything I don't like about this game I'd be here all day so I'll just wrap it up with some bullet points. The enemy design is bad. There's an enemy in Chris' campaign that looks like a dude with ostrich legs, and this used to be a horror franchise. There are sections of the game where you're forced to walk at a snail's pace and follow people around, in what's supposed to be an action game. The graphics are somehow worse than RE5, there's a lot of flat textures that are really noticeable once you get close to things. And the game is way too dark. I hate co-op - I believe games are meant to be played alone in a dark room, but this game treats you like an idiot for not wanting to play with some rando. Every time you start the game you have to turn off the online feature as if the game thinks you must be some kind of weirdo for wanting to play what used to be a single player franchise single player. A lot of people defend this game because of the co-op, as if all these problems I listed melt away when you're playing with a friend. I can't speak to this but to me it would seem co-op would amplify this game's problems, such as the unskippable content. All in all this is one of the worst games I've ever subjected myself to and it's dumb and bad and I hate it and never want to so much as look at it again.
Intro
Resident Evil 6 is a game that blends both action and horror but fails in both departments. It was an anticipated sequel back in 2012. However, It failed as both a sequel to Resident Evil 5 and as a game on its own. The game is disappointing in many aspects, including gameplay, story, characters, and mechanics. This game is probably one of the worst Resident Evil titles that I have played. I will detail below all the issues the game has, and why I can't recommend this game to anyone unless you want some mindless co-op fun because outside of that, the game offers nothing of what you expect from a Resident Evil title.
Gameplay & Mechanics
The gameplay and shooting mechanics in Resident Evil 6 are quite similar to RE5, so there isn't much difference in this department. RE6 continues with the same co-op element from RE5. You have four campaigns, and each campaign has two characters. You get to choose to play with one of the characters while an A.I or an online player can play with the other character. I never played this game with an A.I partner, so I can't comment on how good or bad It is. The game is extremely over the top to the point of ridiculousness. Enemies aren't fun to fight and are there only to annoy you as they continue to mutate when you kill them and have to waste a lot of time and resources to kill them. They aren't fun to face or even challenging; they're just there to timegate you as much as possible. There are certain areas and missions where you can't even avoid them. You have to kill all the enemies you see to progress through the story. This mechanic goes against most of the previous RE games, where you were able to avoid enemies most of the time to conserve ammo and resources. I also want to point out that the Ada campaign doesn't really do co-op properly as it's meant to be played solo, they give you the option to play with a partner. Still, that partner is basically invisible and has no role in the story. He's just there to tag along with Ada and shoot enemies. Still, he can't interact with anything, which is quite disappointing.

The menu system in this game is quite terrible and convoluted. I have no idea why it was designed this way because It's tough to navigate through. Similarly, the item management menu is also a mess and isn't as good or as user friendly as the previous RE titles. You also get various weapons in the game, but sadly all four campaigns share most of the same weapons, so you don't get many unique weapons with each of the different campaigns. Everything ends up feeling similar and familiar as you play through them, and the only thing that will be different is the characters and some of the locales.

The boss battles in RE6, to say the very least, are mostly all bad and are annoying to face as you face them numerous times throughout each of the campaigns. Each campaign has its own boss, but you fight them so often that It gets tiring and boring to face them for the fourth or fifth time. There isn't much variety or challenge when facing them.

The game is also extremely padded because, throughout the campaigns, the main characters meet each other at specific points in the game, and help each other throughout the mission. You have to redo all these missions when you play the other campaigns. I feel that these missions are there just to pad the game and add length, as they bring nothing to the table other than making you go through the same level but with different characters. It's Capcom's way of cutting corners and making the game feel artificially longer, which is just disappointing.
Story
The story in RE6 is disappointing as well. I'm not going to pretend that the previous titles of Resident Evil were amazing masterpieces when it comes to story, but at least they were good enough to fit their own narrative. However, with RE6, the game's story is ridiculous and is way over the top that you can't help but laugh at how the story unravels and how the characters react to what's going on. There are so many pointless over the top action cutscenes that make you roll your eyes and ridicule their absurdity. The story has crossovers with each of the characters in all of the campaigns. Still, these crossovers are mostly pointless and do nothing to improve the story or narrative, as the characters only meet briefly and then never meet each other again.

The characters in RE6 are also as bland as the story. Many of the characters are either dumbed down or just outright generic that almost none of them shine. Even returning characters like Leon or Chris don't feel like their previous incarnations and are dumbed down to fit the plot. The story, in general, is a major snoozefest.
Graphics & Sound
For a 2012 game, Resident Evil 6 doesn't look bad at all. I think the graphics are quite good for its time as I have played Deadspace 3 recently, and the game was released in 2013 and looked worse than RE6 in the graphics and texture department. I will also point out that the monster mutations and animations are pretty well done and are unique. So I can praise RE6 on this one.

The sound design is nothing special, nor is it atmospheric, there is not much to talk about when it comes to sound design. It's just okay.
The Good Parts
The only good part about this game was the co-op. It does co-op pretty well, and for a co-op game, it was entertaining. The game also made me laugh many times at its ridiculousness, I don't know if you'd consider this as a positive, but hey gotta give the game something.
Conclusion
Resident Evil 6 is a disappointing game. There's not much to say. The game fails in almost everything that it offers. The only thing that works well is the co-op component.

My overall rating for this game is a 5/10. I can only recommend this game if you have a friend and want to play a mindless third-person shooter co-op game, then this game could be fun for you. However, if you're expecting something great or at least something as good as the previous Resident Evil titles, then I suggest avoiding playing this game altogether.

Underrated gem. its no survival horror, but the 3 campaings, on their best moments, are increibly bombastic, and all 3 have great final bosses and setpieces, at their worst it drags a bit, but its no biggies, and its incredibly fun with a good friend.

but its biggest strength is its gameplay, this is not RE4 part 3, you can dodge, roll on the ground, and have a variety of melee attacks, its a fantastic third person shooting experience, with a lot of things to master, and game modes that support that playstyle.

the lack of HUNK is concering, but you can mod him in.

PROS:
The action and narrative are well paced from start to finish
Large repertoire of movements that respond well to control
Truly memorable cinematic moments
The 4 campaigns are very different in design and content
Story mode spans more than 20 hours
The Mercenaries is very entertaining thanks to the wide variety of enemies

CONS:
Bad implementation of the coverage system
The camera has occasional problems
It's not always clear what to do against bosses and the amount of damage you're dealing is rarely reflected.
Very linear scenarios
Doesn't appeal to fans of early Resident Evil games

The important thing is that each campaign offers something specific for each type of player, or in other words, if you were a fan of Resident Evil 4, you will feel identified with the adventures of Leon; If you tolerated what RE5 offered, you will find that Chris offers the same; Meanwhile, Jake brings a whole new approach to the formula. To fully enjoy the plot, it is not necessary to follow an order, so you can choose the one that makes you feel more identified; And if you are not used to shooting games, we recommend starting with Leon. This variety guarantees that the more than 20 hours it takes to go through all the sections of the story remain fresh, although of course, they are components of the same proposal, so not all are differences.

Flowchart tl;dr recommendation:

-B-Movie : The Game more into substances than old rockstars
-Just play it in co-op and enjoy the fireworks

(Begin walloftext)

Resident Evil 6 was released in 2012 as part of the long-running Resident Evil franchise. The series has varied between campy B-movie survival horror to campy B-movie action game-ish survival horror to campy B-movie action game and anything inbetween. RE6 is what happens when someone decides to mix all that together with flavour du jours, design by committee, and mix it in a blender. The end result is a mildly unexpected crackpot of flavours, both good and bad.

RE6 gameplay follows up from its recent predecessors. It keeps up mostly RE45-ish gameplay while improving certain aspects: smoother control, being able to strafe as opposed to tank controls in 3D, more variable interactions (and downsides of single key for everything) and essentially minor quality of life changes rather than stiff, fixed aspects that were present in 4 and 5. It is perhaps the first modern RE game where control feels slightly more practical. Depending how well one utilises new functions one can do at will as opposed to forced QTEs, the game can feel rather easy without being as arbitrary as previous entries. And speaking of QTEs, there are plenty of press X not to die -moments so it is another tradition they certainly kept alive here.

RE6 has four campaigns in total, all featuring differing styles and overlapping story made of spaghetti. You have Leon's campaign which is just slightly more in line with traditional, zombie style RE with 0.1% more focus on avoiding enemies and not nuking everything in sight, Chris' campaign which is akin to cheerful bastard child of so-called modern military shooter and B-film quadruple cheeseburger where you want to nuke everything in sight, Jake's campaign takes minor inspiration from generic stealth section elements where the AI wants to nuke you as much as possible, and finally there is Ada's campaign which combines every campaign into one giant overflowing pasta dish. Every single campaign is available from the beginning, but would I recommend playing them in order as the game is frequently keen to outdo itself in true Ed Wood fashion. Just get someone to play the game with and enjoy the rollercoaster of spaghetti outbreak.

Why? The creme of the crop that truly cultivates RE6 is the general plot and structure. Over its lifespan the series went from medical company going for super soldiers to other convoluted masterplans to plans to take over a country to common bioterrorism and how to handle it with maybe tint of politics thrown to the mix. Yet enter RE6 where it is as comprehensive as the efforts of few kids in kindergarten end up making epic story where armoured T-Rex swoops in with helicopters from the Moon to save the day from giant rats and sharks while Captain Boulder rolls down the hill through radiation and they all enjoy a sandwich at the end in a tea party on Mars except space raptors interrupted the tea party and sent them back to Earth so they can continue their nefarious plans by telling raptors had feathers so they would fly to space and avoid extinction. Then someone pitched it to be produced and backed by serious budget and production values by passionate team. Thus RE6 is bent in trying to outdo itself constantly to the point is beyond ridiculous. Combine this with masterfully campy and serious B-movie atmosphere, functional and action-packed gameplay that has enough explosions to rival average Michael Bay film, and suddenly it is one of the most bafflingly entertaining, confusing, nonsensical, yet weirdly functional mishmash that can only happen by happy accident. Or under influence. Or having absolutely no idea what they were doing. Or all combined.

I am not sure if calling the game the most entertaining trainwreck ever made even makes justice. Ironic novelty or not, between functional gameplay with sometimes more inventory management puzzles than the old games combined and the batshit insane plot and presentation, it certainly is something amazing and all I can still say is, play it with a friend and enjoy the even more amazing experience of what the fuck is even going on anymore.

The game is good has huge storylines each chapter take 1 hour but the thing i don't like is the respawning enemies that get triggered by approaching specific areas and the ammo getting wasted on the infinite spawning cause i'm running around to explore locations to figure out how to a mission or trying to find all rooms for ammo... boom i triggered the same thing for enemy spawning i guess i'm gonna waste my ammo again i guess i'm f u u u u u u c k e d .I really do like the storylines but stuff like that just bring down the game and it makes it unfun.I will try to finish it everyones story knowing that scuffed thing. Also after 20 hours of gameplay i never succeeded to dodge properly with keyboard.

As a co-op game, it's one of the most fun games and don't anyone tell you otherwise.
As a good RE game, I really don't care. I like it the way it is.
It's fun, cheesy, and bugs are just like comedy but not game braking. you have 4 stories to go through and higher difficulties need more teamwork.

If you never played it before I advice you to play in the order of: Leon story > jake story > chris story > Ada story
As there are skill upgrades in game be sure to work your way up to higher difficulties. don't start no hope with no skill upgrades or you will have a bad time.

Also there is so much to compete in it with your co-op partner. who has the better accuracy or who gets a better score/rank.

As a fan of Co-op online or split screen, this game is a must have in my book. buy whenever it's on sale and give it a try with a friend.

It is no secret that I love Resident Evil. I would wear RE-themed diapers if I found them.
This is a good game. In terms of mechanics and graphics, it is, without a doubt, better than its predecessor.
I love playing co-op, I love the costumes, I love the voice acting and character development.
It is the most ambitious title of the series, bringing back classic characters (like Chris, Leon and Sherry) and introducing new ones (like Helena, Jake and Piers). It's a shame Capcom threw them away like they did with Carlos, Sheva and others.

Although, it does feel rushed, and it deviated from RE's essence in order to appeal to a broader audience, enhancing the action elements introduced by RE3, 4 and 5.
I hate the opening act... And throughout the game we have to press buttons like we're stupid...

Leon's campaign is the best, in my opinion. The others are OK. Some good moments, many silly ones.

This game is goofy as s h it. I guess it's the same thing as RE5 except WAY worse and WAY goofier. The story is weird and out there, some things don't make sense to me, most of the campaigns itself have a noticeable dip in quality (EXCEPT Leon's), but I can't help loving the action with the diving/rolling, in Leon's campaign it felt like a John Woo flick of sorts. Is it the worst game in the mainline series? YES. Is it an awful RE game? YES. Is it a bad game to have fun with a friend? NO. Play this game just to have fun. But for the hardcore RE fans, I get you.

Pros:
Leon's Campaign
Goofy Action
Sometimes funny by how absurd some stuff is

Cons:
Noticible Dip in Campaign quality after Leon's campaign
It is not scary at all
Jake is the biggest fucking dork I've ever seen in my life

I don't know man, there's not much to say about this. It wasn't the worst thing thing I ever played. I had a blast, a laugh, had fun with my friend who I cooped with.

I did not like this RE of the series. The story was super bogus. It felt like it was all over the place. The graphics are mediocre. The game play is kinda trashy. I could sit out here and point out 100 flaws but hell I am not getting paid for it. I give it a 5/10.

It only worth it if you pay super cheap to play the game like under 7 dollars.

This game gets a way worse perception than it deserves. It's not Resident Evil 4, for sure. However, it does a great job at being it's own thing, at really pushing the action zombie gameplay to a high level with a pretty great B-level story that doesn't take itself too seriously.

It's honestly a lot of fun, and there's a huge amount of content involved with multiple campaigns and casts of characters that completely changes the feeling of the game. For example, Leon's campaign is probably the most true to the original Horror formula, and feels noticeably different to Chris' action romp, whereas Jake's reminds of Resident Evil 3's Nemesis. If you stop comparing this game to what it isn't, and accept this game for what it is, it's a great game. It's also got probably the best mercenaries mode out of the entire series, due to the added combat depth made possible by the shift in gameplay style. The Co-Op and zombie invasion 'agent hunt' features are great as well, and this is one of those games that only improves with multiplayer rather than detracts like Resident Evil 5 became.

Honestly, this game gets a bad reputation, but in reality, for what it is, it's one of the best games in the entire series. There's nothing that compares to this one. Resident Evil 5 didn't know what it wanted to be, stuck between this and Resident Evil 4. This thing is very much it's own beast.

I re-bought the game to piss off the haters, this game is good. Stop taking your drugs so you can realize that. Just because the game isn't horror-based doesn't mean it's not good. If Capcom want's to branch out and try other genres with the franchise, so be it.

If you have the money, this game is worth it.

Resident Evil 6 offers action, spectacular storytelling and enjoyment without complications. There is so much to explore, some campaigns have more exploration than others. Good things I like:

- Shooting, melee attack, finish moves, action.
- Characters design.
- There are Left 4 Dead 2 boys and girl.
- Third-person camera in this game looks best I think.
- The HUD looks modern (though it covers the middle of the screen when I change weapons or stuffs).
- Co-op mode.
- Leaderboard.

(Bad) things I do not like:

- Quick Time Events.
- Running, racing parts in Chris and Jake campaigns.
- Sometimes the game forces the camera to look like the classic RE which makes me get hard to move control, and it always happened when I was in a hurry.
- Too many cutscenes that interrupts the playthrough.

After all I recommend the Mercenaries modes (with/without No Mercy suffixes) which have all the good things I mentioned above. I would not solo the campaigns again, where the (bad) things appear a lot, I need a teammate to have fun in there.

I have mixed feelings with this game, it's an action oriented game rather than survival horror. To make this review quick I'll rate every campaign with some commentary.

Leon: the best out of the bunch, fair difficulty, it's playable, awesome cutscenes and action sequences, but with flaws here and there surrounding the gameplay. Leon Kennedy is awesome, enough said, 7.5/10

Chris: a more annoying and more difficult campaign, lots of enemies and an annoying final boss, i hope you saved some bullets cause i beat it with merely ten shots left, whoever thought it was a good idea to screw around with the camera angles can die in a ditch, 6/10

Jake: i'd like to point out that the timeline is inconsistent, lots of enemies, little fun. A really bland attempt, and nothing new to offer. Ustanak is basically another version of Nemesis and the fights against him have unresponsive controls and the giants in the game are basically another form of El Gigante. Didn't really enjoy this one. 5/10

Ada: were they on heroin when they made this? Too many enemies for the amount of bullets they give you, for a more action oriented gameplay, conserving ammo is not something that you should worry about, so why the overwhelming amount of enemies. Carla was a pain to beat and the chainsaw dude can go to hell. I did not enjoy this one and found it painfull and agonizing, 2/10

They should have just focused on making one awesome campaign instead of making four different ones that just suck harder than the last. I say skip this one or just get to play Leon's campaign.

Great replayability, awesome characters (with great chemistry between them), funny dialogue at times, suspense, and very fun in co-op. Especially because the campaigns can be played entirely in co-op. You don't need the DLCs, but they definitely add to the online aspect of the game - and if you like unlocking achievements, then you'll need them. But just the base game alone is worth the purchase.
To be honest, I'd rather see more of this than the new releases. This type of combat gameplay was more polished than previous RE titles. And there is so much to expand on with the characters introduced in this one. I hope it gets revisited someday and isn't entirely scrapped.
