Started as a mobile game, you can now play your favorite Digging Game right on your PC. Adapted to better fit the possiblities of a desktop screen but still featuring the popular gameplay elements of Robo Miner.

Enjoy endless digging fun
In Robo Miner you control a mining robot which is capable of drilling down the surface. Your order is to find the ultimate diamond located somewhere in each level. On your way you will find different types of ores and crystals providing you with instant cash. Spend this earnings to upgrade your robot to dig even deeper. Each Level will let you dig deeper and find more valueable ores.

You have to be careful where you dig and keep your robot from cave-ins and other dangerous blocks. Use dynamite to make your way trough undrillable blocks and find yourself using parachutes, scanners, ladders and pillars to get back to the surface and recharge your batteries. How deep can you get?

Schon am Handy geliebt, jetzt auch auf Steam!
Ziel ist es, mit dem kleinen Roboter unter der Erdoberfläche nach einem Diamant zu suchen. Dabei muss man immer wieder an die Oberfläche zurück, um eingesammelte Objekte im UFO des Roboters zu lagern.
Ich liebe es, wenn Entwickler gute Handy-Spiele auch für PC entwickeln.

Schon als App bekannt (dort eigentlich kostenlos) macht es aber auf dem PC auch einen Riesenspaß. Die Steuerung geht auch über Mouse - das gefällt mir. Ansonsten gilt es, in einem zufallsgenerierten Level einen Diamanten zu finden. Dabei gibt es nur einfache Sandschichten, die abgebaut werden. Zu beachten sind Felsen, die nicht abgebaut werden können und auf das gerade abgebaute Feld unterhalb fallen und den kleinen Roboter vernichten. Geht der Roboter wieder Richtung Oberfläche, baut er automatisch Leitern, die aber auch nur begrenzt vorhanden sind und damit nicht genug, kostet jeder Abbau und jede Bewegung auch noch Energie und davon gibt es auch nicht unbegrenzt. Wenn der Roboter wieder die Erdoberfläche erreicht, erhält er wieder Leitern und Energie. Noch zusätzliche Updates, die gekauft werden können, erleichtern einem auch noch den Weg. Trotzdem ist jeder Zug ganz schön Denkarbeit: reichen die Leitern noch? kann ich Stützbalken zwischen zwei Felsen setzen, um einen besseren Rückweg zu haben? Energie? Wo sind Fragezeichen, die mir Vorteile bringen? Wo ist Kohle, dass mir neues Geld zum Kauf von Updates bringt? und letztlich muss ich auch noch aufpassen, nicht zu viel zu wollen und keinen Rückweg mehr zu finden.

Ein tolles Spiel, das sein Geld wert ist, wenn man es mal am PC spielen will.
Als App auch kostenlos zu bekommen. Aber gerade die Mousesteuerung am PC ist schon bequem.

It was just recompiled to run on pc-s. No effort put into proper adaption of the interface.

This game is the definition of a great time killer.
Gameplay is simple, intuitive and addictive.

But the game is deserted by the developer. He promised on the forum that an option to make custom keybindings will come, but nothing since then.

That's why I don't recommend buying this game.

This is a highly addictive game and it looks kind of easy. It isn't at all. You think you got it but suddenly, one ladder short. The gameplay is very straightforward. Easily controlled and intuitive. I would definately not call it a great game but quite amusing and brain cleansing.

Well.. been playing for 50 damn hours, up to a level 13 mine, have developed carpal tunnel severely in my left wrist and all I want to do is to find the next diamond. My wife is thinking of leaving me, my kids have forgotten me and several AAA games are waiting to be played. I hate this game. +1 will play again, and again, and again. Great time killer.

Great little time killer.

The aim is to dig and dig until you find the 'missing' gem: finding the gem completes the level and you move onto the next level which seems to constitue a deeper mine.

Be warned you have limited energy and ladders (which you use to get to the surface) - these are refreshed by making contact with your 'base', being a UFO. You can upgrade ladders, power and your drill etc by making money from mining coal (the brown blocks with black specks)

It's fun - and cheap.

Not a very enjoyable game. I can somewhat understand it being OK on a mobile device when you have some time to kill on the bus or train but it is a bit silly to run it on a pc.

First of all, there is not really any music to acompany the robot, which I think is a bit sad! The little guy is on a mining trip, he could atleast whistle a merry tune!

The mechanics are a bit simple and dull. There is a prize somewhere that you need to find but there is no real challenge of getting the prize. Yes, you run out of energy and equipment but is super easy to just hop back to the surface and replenish everything instantly without any cost.

As long as you keep a lazy eye on the energy level and can count to 9 (amount of ladders to get back up again), then you can beat the game quite easily. The levels are just a matter of time then. I did not play a whole lot of it, as I got bored with it within 5 minutes of playing this. Not a good sign for a game, I feel.

Not a very enjoyable experience, I'm sorry to say.
