Once home to ancient civilisations, strange magic, and stories long forgotten, the island has mostly been left to time.[/p][p align="start"]Your journey begins with a vision when you visit the Rusty Anchor in Port Sarim. A warning of something stirring beyond the sea. It's also a chance for us to lean back into something that sits right at the heart of RuneScape. What is Havenhythe?

[p align="start"]Havenhythe is designed to feel like a natural part of Gielinor. The goal is not to create a piece of content you complete once and move on from. Locations you return to again and again as your adventure continues.[/p][p align="start"]This first release lays the foundations for the island. Over time Havenhythe will continue to grow as more stories, activities and discoveries are added throughout the year. Welcome to Wendlewick

[p align="start"]Your first stop in Havenhythe is Wendlewick, a small village that sits along the island’s shoreline.[/p][p align="start"]This is where you will meet the locals who call Havenhythe home. Among them are the village leaders Adam, Zeke and Esther, each playing a role in the community that has formed here.[/p][p align="start"]Wendlewick isn't just somewhere to find quests. As you explore the village and the surrounding area, you will find small tasks, characters to meet, and stories that help bring the place to life.[/p][p align="start"]Some of these are easy to stumble across. Exploring Havenhythe

[p align="start"]Step beyond the village and you will start to see just how much space Havenhythe has to explore.[/p][p align="start"]Dense forests, hidden shrines, strange caves and quiet stretches of wilderness all sit across the island. Some areas feel peaceful. Others might give the sense that something is not quite right.[/p][p align="start"]For this first release you'll be able to explore several key parts of the island, including the nearby forests, the Hill Giant settlement known as Hollow Hill, and other locations scattered across the landscape.[/p][p align="start"]We won't spoil everything here though.
