Sehr kurzes, kostenloses Point-and-Click. Da der Flashplayer nicht mehr offiziell unterstützt wird, wurde das Spiel nochmal mit verbesserten Grafiken Remastered und aufpoliert. Spielzeit ist ungefähr 15 Minuten.

The beginning of an amazing series, that manages to be relaxing and frustrating at the same time, while letting you solve beautifully drawn puzzles.
What i would give, to play those games for the first time again...

Entdecke die Anfänge der Samorost-Serie im originalen, knackigen Abenteuer des Weltraumgnoms, das im Jahr 2003 veröffentlicht wurde. Die neue Version kommt mit überarbeitetem Sound, verbesserter Grafik und neuer Musik von Floex.
Soweit der Herausgeber.

Schaun wir uns das doch mal etwas genauer an, weil es sich lohnt genau hin zu sehen, bei diesem skurrilen Game.
Point & Click in 2D und ausgezeichneter Grafik. Musik die man nicht abschalten kann. Ich war drum und dran das ganze Game deswegen abzuschalten, hab mich dann aber entschieden einfach die Kopfhörer ab zu nehmen. Die Minigeschichte die hier dargestellt wird, kann man einfach nur genießen, weil so absurd sie auch sein mag, sie ist sehr gut. Die Darstellung der Handlungen und Begegnungen sowie auch das ganze Ambiente ist ungewöhnlich gut gelungen. Es gibt kein Text, keine Erzählung und auch keine Hilfe. Aber Halt, es gibt die ESC Taste, diese schaltet das Game in ein kleinen Fenstermodus. Das braucht ihr auch um gleich daneben eine Guide laufen zu lassen. Ohne bezweifel ich das ihr das Spiel überhaupt spielen könnt. Ich habe diese ganz hervoragende benutzt:

Teil eins ist zur Zeit Kostenlos, Teil Zwei müßt ihr dann bezahlen, wobei eine Rabattaktion den Kauf in Richtung lohnend verschiebt. Teil drei ist dann aber schon recht happig vom Kaufpreis her.
Wie dem auch sei, dieses Game bringt gute Laune, die noch lange anhält. Ich habe nun länger für das schreiben des Reviews gebraucht als für das spielen des Games.
Diese halbe Stunde Spaß, empfehle ich euch.

Samorost 1

Discover the beginnings of the Samorost series in the original, crunchy adventure of the space gnome, released in 2003. The new version comes with a revised sound, improved graphics and new music from Floex.
So much for the editor.

Let's take a closer look, because it's worth looking closely at this bizarre game.
Point & Click in 2D and excellent graphics. Music that you can't turn off. I was just about to switch off the whole game, but then decided to just take off the headphones. The mini-story presented here can only be enjoyed because as absurd as it may be, it is very good. The presentation of the actions and encounters as well as the whole ambience is exceptionally well done. There is no text, no narration, and no help either. But wait, there is the ESC key, this switches the game into a small window mode. You also need that to run a guide right next to it. Without a doubt, you can play the game at all. Part one is currently free, you have to pay for part two, with a discount campaign moving the purchase towards worthwhile. Part three is then quite steep in terms of the purchase price.
Anyway, this game brings a good mood that lasts for a long time. It took me longer to write the review than to play the game.
I recommend this half hour of fun.

A lovely little interactive experience that is somewhere between a point and click adventure and a hidden object game.

You play as a space gnome who must embark on a daring Armageddon style mission to divert an asteroid that is on a collision course with his home planet.

The game is presented through a series of nicely animated but largely static scenes. There is no immediate control of the main character, rather it is a search of the screen to discover interactive elements that will progress the game and the story further.

A few of the interactions may cause some confusion to inexperienced players but fans of the genre will likely play through in a matter of minutes.

Art direction is fantastic. Whimsical is almost a derogatory word it's used so often. I'll say this instead, the art direction could be summarised as Terry Pratchett meets Terry Gilliam. The collage style nature of the scenes gives it a very nice homemade quality that adds lots of charm.

Similarly the sound design is largely a DIY effort, with most of the effects being generated by the human voice. It's another nice touch that again adds to the general feeling of good vibes.

Continuing on the theme of good vibes, the soundtrack is provided by Floex. I understand that this is a remaster of an original Flash game. I don't imagine Floex provided the music for it, but here the music is absolutely fantastic. That is, if you like a bit of electronica and psychedelic ambient.

It'll only take you ten or fifteen minutes, but you might just want to play it a second time to make sure you didn't miss any of the fun little character moments. A perfect introduction to Amanita Design and what they are all about.

A very fast but fun experience. Amanita's first game has very interesting ideas and manages to get the player interested! Although the second and thirs game of the series are much better (obviously, they cost money), I'd recommend this piece of art to everyone with a steam account!

I honestly do not see the hype around Samorost 1. I understand it is free, although the game is literally a demo.
The entire gameplay consisted of randomly clicking items, hoping for an interaction. I have purchased the entire franchise Samorost 1, 2 and 3 and to be totally honest this game felt extremely different.
Not only due to the short gameplay of 10 minutes, but the randomness and quirkiness of this game compared to the sequels felt as if the devs were on drugs while developing this game.

If you have 10 minutes to spare and want a somewhat fun, short experience than honestly this game is not too bad. It sets up the universe for the Samorost franchise. Although personally I could not recommend it. I believe the reasons this game is so highly recommended is due to the other games, and what they were able to achieve.

Overall, you can not expect much from a free demo from 2000 but compared to the sequels, I just can't recommend it.

Super short, weird but really unique point and click adventure. I played Machinarium back on the the PS Vita and I'm glad that they continue to make games with their unique art style.

For a game which lasts roughly 10 minutes, I can't say much.

It's Samorost: it set the foundation for the whole series and it evolved in a beautiful way.

I recommend playing it with a good pair of over-ear headphones, you won't regret it. Floex is always on another level and it shows, as music is the perfect example of ambient, curious and humorous.

And, of course, I recommend playing the whole trilogy. It only improves from here!

This game is a small yet quite charming point&click adventure game where you are trying to save your planet. Puzzles are really simple and the game is insanely short but that does not mean this is a bad game. I can only say one thing and that is i have no idea what i just experienced. Its free and it takes around 10 mins to finish so give it a try.

Free to play game. A basic point and click adventure puzzle game with average graphics, about 20 minutes gameplay from start to finish, and pretty easy puzzles.. but a big thank you to Amanita Design for releasing this for free, nice to be able to play the whole Samorost trilogy now on Steam.

Recommended just because it's where Samorost all started, and it's free to play, and Amanita didn't have to release it for Steam, or even release it for free... but they did (round of applause!!).

Short but sweet, a must play for Samorost fans - 5/10

Samorost 1 is a pixel-finder puzzle game. Beat it in 15 minutes using a mouse. Difficulty is easy.

The art style is cute, and the game has an old-school Flash game quality to it. Think pictures of funky, misshapen woodland except with little people super-imposed on it and parts you can move. It doesn't tell you where to click so you need to search around.

I'd say this is kid friendly, with exception to one weird dude with a hooka. So Kid Friendly in a Monty Python sense.

It's Freeeee.........!

In my most humble opinion, Samorost 1 is worth it. Short, imaginative, and an all around fun romp.

Samorost is a very simple, extremely short point-and-click puzzle game, the first game from Amanita Design. Players guide a small gnome as he seeks to divert an asteroid on a collision course with his home planet, solving each puzzle scene with a series of single-object interactions. There's a charming artistic style here, with lifelike backdrops over which a handful of interactable objects are superimposed and the puzzles are logical and enjoyable to solve, but with only six scenes the game is over all too quickly, taking a matter of only 20 minutes or so to reach the end.

I distinctly remember playing this game when I was a kid, but at the time I couldn't get past the first screen! I'm glad it's been remastered and put on steam for everyone to play. For me it was a huge nostalgia trip, but for new players it's a quick little experience that shouldn't be skipped.

An older game but worth the short time to play. It's beautifully drawn, charming, and wonderfully creative. I played the free version . Whimsical would also describe it. It's unique, and I would recommend it. No hard puzzles, or violence, just a trip to a few trippy worlds.

one of my favorite point-and-click flash game series that i still remember from my childhood, mainly because of the game's aesthetic, the usage of objects that you may encounter everyday to create an environment that feels alien and otherworldly - and it does such a great job at it! i'm very happy they didn't let the game die with flash.

This game reminds me of point-and-click adventure flash games I used to play. The music is a bit odd (I don't really care for the ambient soundtrack), but I like the art style: a mixture of surreal, creepy, and cartoon-ish. It's very short and took me around 11-20 minutes. I don't think I would buy the sequels though.

I have a soft spot for any type of media that presents itself from an abnormally small perspective. That factor, combined with rather original setting composed of goofy bug-like creatures on some dirty and moss covered miniature planets, make for a stellar setting which the art nails. The exception to this is the out of place on human faces which are pasted on some of the creatures within this world. This artistic exception definitely give the game a rough-around-the-edges look which is an odd contrast in comparison to the wonderfully illustrated environments. However, that is rather nit-picky but it does make the title visually look amateurish. I am pretty sure the developer even step away from this artistic choice in future titles, but I haven't played those to find out.

In terms of gameplay, I guess you could call this title a point-and-click adventure if you stick strictly to the standard definition. However, this game feels much more like an interactive playground to me due to the very simplistic puzzle. It never really felt like I was solving any problems but rather that I was clicking around and exploring the environment which was enjoyable and relaxing.

Overall, I really enjoyed the 10 minutes that I spent charmed by the art, world, and relaxing gameplay of Samorost 1. Definitely a great place to start from and glad the developer put in the work to remaster the title and make it available for free! Looking forward to playing the other games in the trilogy.

Well this was just cute and fun. Little space gnome adventure, free and takes about 15mins.

I started playing this because I was interested in what looks like a surreal horror game of theirs about to come out that I saw at one of the E3 videos this year, Happy Game. I played the demo for that and another, saw that this little game was free too. I'll be closely following this studio now, as they seem to be consistently putting out cute (or scary) little casual point-and-click adventures. I saw that there are two more installments of Samorost too. Overall I enjoyed myself.
