We hope you've been enjoying the game, and are gearing up for the holiday season ahead.


We are thrilled to inform you that Soulstice Update 1.0.3 is now LIVE!

Update 1.0.3 addresses a multitude of adjustments and fixes. Please refer to the Changelog below for more details.

For those with automatic updates enabled, there is no action needed.


Soulstice Changelog for Update 1.0.3:



General:


  • Updated draw distance of environment meshes
  • Fixed collisions of certain level elements
  • General tweaks to UI and menus
  • Tweaked cinematics audio
  • Minor text corrections
  • General tweaks and improvements


Fixes:


  • Fixed issue that might reveal certain character names too early, causing story spoilers
  • Fixed an issue that caused the amount of currency shown in menus to be different from the actual amount the player owns
  • Fixed a potential crash when loading a save game
  • Fixed an issue where certain enemies might occasionally spawn outside of combat area
  • Fixed an issue that caused Lute's kills to sometimes not count toward Challenge goals
  • Fixed an issue with additional score info being shown with wrong data
  • Fixed an issue that, in some cases, caused difficulty to attack an enemy, while another one was locked by the combat camera
  • Fixed an issue that caused a Codex entry to be unlocked early, causing story spoilers
  • Fixed issue that might prevent players from unlocking Achievement/Trophy "We can choose to fight" ("Complete the game")
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from unlocking Achievement/Trophy "Chaos be Damned!" ("Perform all four Rapture finishing moves ") during challenges
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from unlocking all entries in the Help menu section "Progression"
  • Fixed an issue that caused the change of camera lock target to have inverted vertical axis
  • (Xbox Series S Only) Fixed an issue that would cause the game to crash while reloading a checkpoint in Mission 1
  • Fixed issue that might cause the "Preacher" enemy to teleport on the roof of the arena
  • Fixed visual glitches when the player shoots arrows at the "Colossus" boss enemy
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent progression in Mission 17 by causing an elevator to disappear when reloading a checkpoint
  • Fixed an issue that caused enemies to appear partially inside the floor
  • Fixed an issue with Preacher's Ethereal Thorns damaging the player regardless of the active Field
  • Fixed an issue that might prevent players from reaching the crystal at the end of Mission 16
  • Fixed an issue that might cause the HUD to be visible during the intro cinematic of Mission 3
  • Fixed a potential blocking issue during tutorials
  • Removed a wall gap in Mission 3
  • Fixed collision issue in Mission 12
  • Fixed aspect ratio of camera in a cinematic during Mission 23
  • Fixed potential crash when returning to Main Menu after reloading a checkpoint
  • Fixed a rare freeze issue during combat
  • Fixed collisions in Mission 18
  • Fixed an issue that caused Briar's weapons to glow during a cinematic in Mission 23
  • Fixed an issue that caused some enemies to spawn again at the very end of the Prologue
  • Fixed a freeze during mission 21
  • Fixed a rare crash in Mission 9
  • Fixed issue with missing ambience sound effects in some cinematics
  • Fixed a rare crash that might occur when failing a Challenge
  • Fixed a text overflow issue in the shop UI
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Lute from countering one of Preacher's ranged attacks
  • Fixed an issue that could make Briar's model invisible in the Codex
  • Fixed a rare issue that caused Lute's active Field to be seen during cinematics in the Arrowhead boss fight
  • Fixed very rare crash when an enemy was killed


Improvements:


  • (Windows Only) Added an option that allows players to choose between different controller icon mapping (i.e. Xbox Series X|S or PlayStation 5)
  • (Windows Only) Added support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0
  • (Windows Only) Added a setting to allow players to customize framerate during cinematics (will be able to select locked and unlocked framerates)
  • Improved behavior of auto camera lock with possessed enemies: now the lock will automatically switch to a wraith when spawned from the possessed enemy
  • Added new option to automatically advance all story dialogues
  • Added new option to hide all subtitles
  • Improved hints during Echo gameplay sequences
  • Added a setting to manage visibility of enemy locators and camera target in the HUD
  • Added a different input mapping to the Sword's Piercing Lunge (now it can also be triggered with dodge+attack)
  • Added a tutorial for Memory & Echo gameplay sequences
  • Added a tutorial for Lute's Perfect Counter
  • Challenges are now unlocked in the extras menu after the player first interacts with them, without the need to play them from within a Mission
  • Increased player dodge invulnerability frames
  • Tweaked some player attacks to improve attack canceling
  • Sword's Piercing Lunge now prioritizes the locked enemy as target
  • Increased mobility of all of Briar's air attacks
  • Added settings to customize camera distance and field of view during combat sequences
  • Added a new checkpoint in Mission 21
  • Avoided undesired player attack interruption when a Possessed Enemy is hit by chance, while the player is attacking a different enemy
  • Updated keyboard input mappings for menu navigation to improve support for different keyboard layouts
  • Increased time limit in Challenge 8
  • Disabled the possibility to open pause menus while the inventory wheel is open
  • Improved performance of water planes
  • Added some support for Color Deficiency Modes on input device colors
  • Improved navigation of the Challenge Selection from the Extras menu section
  • Tweaked scoring parameters in a combat of mission 4
  • Tweaked configuration of a combat in Mission 17
  • Reduced auto-collect delay of rewards at the end of challenges
  • Restricted Void Crystals to spawn during combat
  • Tweaked some of "Colossus" boss attack damage values
