Space Junkies ist ein unglaublicher, Jet-Pack-getriebener VR-Arcade-Shooter, bei dem man durch feindliche Orbits fliegt und extreme Kämpfe bestreitet!

Das Weltall war noch nie gefährlicher als in der Dirty Bowl! Sterben geht schnell und der Tod lauert überall, während man sich durch die orbitalen Arenen („Orenas“) kämpft.

Tolles Spiel, jedoch sind hier keine gar keine Spieler mehr online, somit nicht mehr spielbar, außer man hat Lust auf Bot-Games.
Trotzdem, Daumen hoch.

Sehr Cooles Spiel und Frisches Gameplay, Spielerisch erinnert es ein wenig an Unreal Tournament.
Leider ist noch etwas wenig los, aber selbst im 1 vs 1 oder gegen Bots macht es durch die vielen Spielmodi Fun!

Also ich habe das Spiel nun etwas gespielt und meine Meinung nach, lohnt es sich noch nicht das Spiel zu kaufen. Es gibt einfach noch zu wenig Inhalt in dem Spiel. Allerdings hat es durchaus Potential was richtig gutes zu werden. Aber erstmal abwarten.

Pro:
Schöne Welten. Das Ambiente passt und ist stimmig zu der Musik.
Handhabung: Es lässt sich von der Steuerung schön spielen, nur die Waffen zu bedienen, bedarf wohl etwas an Übung.

Contra:
Noch wenig Spielinhalt.
Die Server sind nicht belebt. Man sucht schon länger nach Mitspielern.

Eines der witzigsten VR Spiele die ich bis jetzt gespielt habe !!

Ich kann es auf jeden Fall jedem empfehlen der auf Multiplayeraction steht und eine VR Brille besitzt.
Schade ist allerdings das es keine Singleplayermissionen oder Ähnliches gibt. Ich hoffe das für dieses Spiel noch Updates kommen.

DO NOT BUY. abandoned multiplayer-only game with no active player base. It was some decent fun while it lasted, it was like quake but in VR and in space. Now you can't play because there's nobody to play with.

I don't now because it's dead. But if ubisoft gave more love to this bad boy and advertised it well again with the new patch, maybe even a decent quest port and cross play. This game would be worth it. It's polished and fun just no one to join.

no one plays and the people that do rage quit before the game ends lol
been playing this for a year now and nothing has changed, the devs have no control over the project anymore and Ubisoft is leaving it to die. this is probably one of the best VR games I've played, but I mean this: don't even get this on sale.

nobody to play with and it's pvp only. regret purchase. rip 4.5 bucks

+ polished and fun PvP game
- not enough players. usually nobody in the lobbies

worth on sale if you buy with a friend.

I have a rule I always downvote games that require installing a 3rd party launcher. this requires installing uplay.

Extremely well made VR shooter, prolly the best ever made in my opinion.
The gameplay is very Quake-like and very fast paced, however it is still very suitable for VR beginners.

However, sadly the game was abandonned by the devs, so some of the existing Bugs where never fixed.
This leads to empty lobbies, which currently makes up a very lonely multiplayer experience :/

Uplay issues. Seems like all my Steam linked games were removed from my Uplay account. Now I don't have access to any of my games by UbiSoft. Reached out to their support and they refused to link the game to my account even though I showed them receipts. Stay away from UbiSoft.

I don't think this game is really horrible but it's basic and there's not much to do in it. You move around in space shooting people with cool guns but that's about it. I don't think this game is bad but it's definitely not something I would recommend unless you love or want a multiplayer game to either play with friends or play with random people

Everyone is complaining about the Index controllers not working, well they do. If they do not work when you start the game all you have to do is this:

1: Close the game and close Steam VR.

2: Open the game.

3: Steam VR will open on its own, put on your headset and turn on your controllers.

These simple steps work for me, I hope they help you.

This game is good if you have friends getting it but the overall player base is non existant when i first got it i got into games with a breeze but now (1 year later) I came back to no one i waited 30mins and still no one joined dont waste your money unless you have someone to play with

Played the beta and was fun so I bought it, tried to play it today and it does not run.
Same issues as others, seems it doesn't actually work with the Index controllers.

I dont know what happened but I tried playing space junkies on my valve index and I tried to accept the agreement but trigger and any other buttons wouldnt work, please fix this game for valve index.

I just got through the tutorial and 1 match against the bots and this game is as good as anything else I've played in VR, except for the fact that I wasn't able to find a match(early evening on a monday). I bought it on sale at the humble store for 4 bucks and even if I can't find anyone to play with it was worth it. The guns are all unique and seem like a good variety for different play styles, and the graphics and sound were on point. It'll really be a shame if this game doesn't get a better player base(although I'm sure there are people to play on the weekend). I'm astonished that this game isn't more popular than the other shooters out there, it really seems like a well made game.

A complete and udder mess, no matter how much i try to fix it, the games ALWAYS crashes and runs like garbage. I wanted to keep this game and play it, but due to the fact it never runs, its basically unplayable, getting a refund. Total waste of money.

I would say that this shooter is second only to Pavlov. It does everything you would want in a VR Unreal Tournament. Don't be fooled by people saying DEAD GAME. Matches are up to 4 players and most of the time you can find someone to kill. Even if you can't there are good bots here which is more than you can ask for in most of VR multiplayer shooters.

'Quake in space' arcade FPS. Still ok on sale against bots or pvp via discord.

Controls and weapon handling are quite intuitive. Map design, sounds and graphics are fun.

Most people seem to have given negative reviews, because the game is somewhat devoid of players (with bad reviews possibly even furthering that very fact) or because of the requirement of the fabulous Uplay launcher to play (which in itself is sometimes buggy). The game itself is pretty solid, though.

This game was fine until Ubisoft decided to screw us with their loader. It outright refuses to load unless I run it from their loader now, which defeats the purpose of this game even being on Steam.

This game was good when it was on sale and there was a big community.

A week later the development team announced they would stop updating the game.
The community is gone.

I played the Beta, which was actually super active, and this game is actually insanely fun. Great maps. creative weapons, smooth controls, it all comes together very, very well.
However, this game has now completely died. So much potential, and I sat in the matchmaking lobby for an hour and not one person joined. Even for the $5, the game is a barren wasteland, essentially a $20 waiting sim. Don't get the game, even if it's gaining more traction again with the sale, it'll die right back down to nothing a month from now.

I bought this game because bhaptics has this listed as a compatable game! Please redo the update with bhaptics intergration! It was working before and bhaptics told me your latest update removed the behaptics heptic feed back from working with the game!! More developers neeed to integrate the behaptics into the games it's an amazing experience! plz fix with update ASAP

A LOT of people will say this game is dead which is false, there will always be atleast 1 player in a lobby, and playing a 1V1 with randoms is such a great time.
I do not recommend it without a sale tho, catch on sale for 5USD/10USD

Yeahhhh seems pretty cool. I suck though, and original Vive controllers don't help since the game relies on touchpad clicks. Will have to perform surgery [again] to add extra padding so clicking is detected better. Worth a shot if it looks fun to you. Not sure if the community is active, but there's at least bots to play with.

The reason why barely anyone plays this is because it requires a Ubisoft Client install and login. Plus cosmetics are locked behind loot boxes. If those things does not bother you to the point it insults your life soul, I recommend to still get this game if you're willing to match up with other VR Players on Discord communities. The gameplay is fluid and top notch!

Why was this ever over $5

If you wanted another multiplayer VR shooter that you know isn't Pavlov I'd say pick up, especially if you wanted something on the more arcadey side.

Pros

+ Fun quick
+ Crossplay
+ Fairly straight forward
+ Solid maps

Cons

- over priced
- limited content
- populations kinda low but it is kinda picking up with the sale
- a tad glitchy. I had a game where I pretty much couldn't leave the spawn.

Should you buy meth for junkies?

Um yeah if it's sale for 5 bucks for the amount of content you're getting.

Not recommended. Game is entirely dead, sat in the lobby for an hour trying to get in a game. No one was on. No ability to play with bots either. Regretful purchase.

I have no idea why people did not buy this game and make it a huge success. This game is super fun. This is in my top 3 list for VR games. You would have to be crazy not to buy this game when its on sale for $10 or less. Its sad that development has stopped on the game and that fewer players online can make you wait on a multiplayer match. Its true the match system is not very good and gone are the days of playing for hours with full teams of people. But its still a great game. Bot matches are actually basically identical to multiplayer matches but without the chat.

This game is really fun! I would recommend playing it sitting down on a swivel chair so you can really enjoy the 3D movement. The game is such a blast to play, really fun combat and the overall game design is like a slightly whimsical Quake.

I just got it but have not seen too many people online. I hope it picks up though because I would play this everyday!

Get it on sale! Too good to miss this one.

Game is very high quality, the animations, music, and presentation are on-par with what you would expect from a normal game by an AAA company like Ubisoft. The game is very satisfying, and it does not leave me motion sick as I had been worried about. I picked this game up on sale for 5$, and I would have spent 10$. The game is DEFINITELY worth the $20 pricetag, however, the playerbase is dwindling as it is a VR title. The lobby size is a max of 6 people. All of my rounds have between 3-6 people in them, though waiting fort the full 6 can take a minute or two, but thats ok because the waiting lobby is very fun with several things to mess around with. Overall, the movement and animations of this game combine to make a very exciting experience for VR and I hope the playerbase stays as it is or even increases. I dont see myself putting this game down any time soon as long as everyone else feels the same way.

People complain that this game us too expensive? Well this is what we've been asking for. A polished AAA game for VR. And at 40 this game is a steal. Most fun I've had in VR in long time. I hope they keep adding content to this game. We need to do our part and play these games when they come. Because they don't come often
