SpeedRunners ist ein kompetetiver Platformer für 4 Spieler mit Enterhaken, Power-Ups und interaktiven Spielfeldern. Renne, springe und schwinge herum, schieße

Raketen und hänge dich an Gegner fest, um sie aus dem Bild zu hauen!

Mehrfache Probleme mit der Steuerung, gespiegelt und sehr schlechte Hitboxen. Ausserdem hat der Host manchmal mehr Geschwindigkeit als alle anderen.

It's a beautiful game which has been tested pretty well. While mapmaking I experienced how incredible everything has a purpose and works beautifully.
I can´t imagine how any 2D game will ever have better graphics than this masterpiece. And that´s a fact.
It's just a sick game.
Also es ist gut.
Realistic game which is also fun in multiplayer mode.

Great little free running racer! There's a bunch of different characters and each one looks and feels different. It has a short but fun campaign mode to rip through and then you can run some multiplayer or challenge a buddy. Good variety of options to help ease you into the mechanics, and everything feels nice and tight. If you enjoy platforming games you will probably love this!

i love the game and have a lot of pros and cons

Pros
- the game has a whole cast of characters that look and play differently.
- it is different from other racing games because of the 2D view.
- you don't know how good you are at first so you can change the difficulty level to suit you easy slow, medium slow but smart, hard your speed and unfair fast.
- campaign is simple, fast moving and fun.
- 2 DLC packs have youtubers, pack one has markiplier and 3 others and pack 2 has pewdiepie and 3 others.
- the final DLC called civil dispute has 4 new characters.
- the last pro is the team and different modes - you can have rockets fly down on you as you pair a dog with a cat and a space man with a space girl. Crazy fun!

Cons
- it is repetitive - at the end of the day it's only a running game.
- the story's last part is not as hard as the 2nd and 3rd parts, still it is easier than the 1st part.

Overall it is a fun game 4.9/5 and it's super cheap!

Good value for the price. So much fun with friends, power-ups can change the tide quickly and the AI is pretty good. Unlocking characters and power up types is the only real progression but feels good. Too many locked off as paid DLC tho.

The campaign mode is pretty tough and requires some grinding but I didn't mind, you feel like you're so close to winning every time! When someone falls off screen, it triggers Sudden Death and the screen space slowly gets smaller, making it harder to keep up with 1st place - very intense!

The highest difficulty is called Unfair....and it really is. Jeez. If you get good and want a challenge, try the campaign on Unfair. You will hate your life, and laugh.

For a fun little party game, 8/10

holy fucking shit ALL THE YES. gift it to a friend, or bring them over, or just use Parsec/Steam Remote Play. this is what true childhood-like game experiences are.
think of Mario Kart 64, but instead, it's a 2D platformer that controls super fluidly, has tons of neat tricks if you learn game mechanics right, and has amazing music as well.
if there's anything to critique at all it's the samey-ness of the levels, but even then it has support for Workshop maps so 1. more creative maps, and 2. get ready to exploit the previously mentioned mechanics to their extreme.
Played it after forever, laughed so hard i cried. 10/10

Speedrunners is one of my favorite multiplayer games of all time! I would clumsily describe the gameplay as Parkour-meets-Mario-Kart-meets-Spiderman. The mechanics are so fluid and it feels great to be zipping, jumping, and swinging across levels at high speeds! The music is well-scored and really sets the tone for how hectic the races can be.

Multiplayer is definitely where the bulk of the fun lies but the single player experience isn't too shabby! That being said, the 'story' is mostly just multiplayer matches with bots as opponents. The higher difficulties give the NPC characters an edge as far as base speed and item efficiency but even the highest difficulties can be bested with some clever item usage ;)

My only gripes with the game are as follows:
- I'm too good at the game relative to my friends so they never want to play. T__T
- There hasn't been a sequel announcement.

Speedrunners is a terrific value and I definitely recommend getting the 4-pack when its on sale.

If you like sidescrolling platformers then this game is great, however it's only really playable with other people who are also new, as the skill ceiling is so insanely high that you could have thousands of hours and still have lots of room for improvement, and because of that reason I have a hard time literally recommending SpeedRunners to my friends to actually play, as in a game with most people, they will die in three seconds, but if you can find newer players to play against, or if you buy the game with somebody (like a 4-pack), then it's very fun and likely that at least one person in that group will go on to play for hundreds, or even thousands of hours.

If you have the money for it DEFINITELY buy this game. Especially if you have friends who play it, it is a lot of fun(though you might lose a few friendships mwahahaha)! Super fun to play anytime, the story mode is hard so it'll take you a while to pass it on all diffs. Overall great game

I loved this game, i played it alot. It's a shame that the game is practically dead at this point. 200+ players on during the week and if you're lucky maybe 300+ people. Good luck having any fun though unless you're already a god at the game.
I would have gave this a positive review a couple years ago now. If you want to get more players i would suggest putting it on discount and maybe do a couple free weekends as well. Majority of the playerbase moved on (including me).
Unless you're playing with friends/party then go ahead and buy this. If not then skip this one.

SpeedRunners is fun to play against your friends, bots or both if you like to. It is simple to join your friends and there have been no connection issues so far. There is also a workshop with custom maps if you got tired of the official maps. The only feature one could miss is the ability to change some controls from hold to toggle and vice versa. Overall, a solid game for both casuals and veterans with a high skill ceiling.

A dynamic, interesting and fun multiplayer arcade game in which the goal is to overtake rivals (computer AI or a real person). The raner's arsenal has power-ups that are picked up at the level, as well as a hook that allows you to move faster on certain platforms or get to a different route on the map. There are 9 maps available in the game so far, on which there are various traps. At the beginning of each map, there is a chance that a wheel appears with different conditions for passing the level (the speed of runners increases, armageddon from missiles, etc.). Although the game is on early access, it is still gorgeous and it allows you to kill an hour with friends. I'm looking forward to the next updates :)
