So sorgen z.

Mechanics are poorly explained at best, first 30 minutes of the game had so much rough transitions that it was jarring at best, You're randomly teleported to different spots at any given time that it made the beginning unbearable.

Deeply regret buying this trash

Lots of things to admire about this game.
1. Jumping is fun.
2. Scares the shit out of me sometimes.
3. Doesn't guide your hand, allows and encourages you to explore - both the world and what's within it.
4. Every monster, power, and weapon feels entirely unique.
5. The environments look incredible. I've never seen a world like this before and it gives off such wonderfully eerie feelings!
6. Progress feels rewarding.
7. The music of course is grand.

Great concept, poor execution.

Pros:
+ Great graphics.
+ Good concept

Cons:
- The world is sooooo empty. %90 of the time , I just run, wait for my stamina to fill, run again.
- Enemy movement is just, rudimentary. It's like the game is at alpha stage.
- Bow mechanics are not good. I don't feel the tension when I pull a bow. Maybe instead of right click, we should be able to hold the bow with left click, and then release the left click to shoot.
- The game heavily focuses on your track and sound, but as I've said, the world is so empty, and the enemies don't seem to pursue you, so I don't get the importance. Maybe this becomes more important in the late game.
- Optimization bad.

The game has a really interesting concept ultimately crippled by poor execution and underwhelming game play, making it to a point where the game isn't enjoyable or worth as much as it is even when bought during sale periods where the price can drop significantly.

The game has some aspects that should be highlighted, these include, an interesting concept both for the enemies and for the player character, with the monsters and enemies being based on different concepts that turn regular creatures into really interesting enemies and having a player character whose abilities and skills are displayed in interesting ways such as having the HUD of the game be all contained with in world objects such as the tattoos of the player character and the different notches present on the bow. However this is a far as the positive aspects fro the game go, given that a lot of these aspects that initially seem fun quickly sour with failed execution.

First issue I encountered with the world is the fact that despite being sent in what is supposed to be a forest filled with creatures, the world seems empty, large chunks of my playtime where filled with long stretches of walking through empty woods until an enemy suddenly decide to spawn near me with no real pattern or reason, the only creatures you encounter are the enemies and the placement of the enemies often feels wrong as if the creatures where seemingly dropped at random and not like organics part of the world.

Moving on to the actual enemy behaviour, this aspect of the game-play is extremely inconsistent and often frustrating for the player due to the fact the enemies don't react consistently and often the behaviour doesn't correlate to the things that are happening during the game. As an example some enemies would often rush at you while playing and nothing in the world would alter their behaviour , even getting hit with an attack or encountering an obstacle wouldn't cause the enemy to stop charging, some enemies when injured would just run away sometimes after getting hit while others wouldn't even flinch even if you unloaded the whole quiver at them, enemies don't have a death animation instead jut dropping dead after their health is reduced to zero causing them to just suddenly freeze up upon death sometimes even doing it mid attack which often looks wrong while you are playing. Enemies also don't chase the player despite in game descriptions suggesting the would, running away from an enemy just causes it to stop fighting and forget the player exist even if you don't go very far away. Lastly all enemy behaviour feels the same even when the creatures you are going up against change , all creatures seemingly just rush at the player, then run back and then quickly run at the player once more which makes them feel less they are not actual animals hunting the player down.

Moving on to actual game-play, the lack of an actual UI like in other games makes some aspects of the game unenjoyable because basic gameplay features of other games are locked behind finding powers and other upgrades across the map, one such example is the lack of a mini map or any sort of indicator of when a hostile creature is around, most other games would display a red dot in a mini map to warn the player, in this game this ability is a power that you unlock after a while of walking around and it manifests as a glowing tattoo on the hand that supposedly lights up when an enemy is near, the catch is this indicator of enemies would often light up either when you are already face to face with the creature or will glow when there is an enemy so far away it is irrelevant to the player. There is also no clear indication of player health (or of there is it is so unintuitive I missed it completely) so other than the message telling you to heal after being hit by an enemy it is very hard to determine how much health you have left or how much damage you have taken from an attack. the lack of a health bar on the enemies also makes it annoying to determine what will kill an enemy and if attacks are being effective or not because some enemies will day with a charged shot to the head while some of the same enemy type will take several head shots to drop and the enemies don't display any sing of injury that would indicate their current health after attacks. All of these factors culminate in the game-play feeling inconsistent because some enemies will appear out of nowhere and require all of your arrows to take down while others will die to a single shot.

Lastly it is the story of the game, there is very little mention of the actual story while playing, there is no indication of where the player is supposed to go or why they are going to the places they are going, excluding the initial cut-scene there is no mention of what the player is looking for or why they are looking for it making it feel like you are just wondering through the woods with no real objective and just going from one glowing point to another with no real motivation or indication of being in the right path.

All of these aspects combine make it to where the game is not fun to play and feels underwhelming when compared to what is promised by the premise of the game, if you are thinking of buying the game play the demo and judge it for yourself but ultimately I don't recommend the purchase
