Das Spiel ist super. Insbesondere Job Job.

Job job was the the best one because it had user generated results. Everything else wasn't fun, made no sense, or was just confusing to learn and in the end not enjoyable. It could be fun if the games had more user generated games like how job job was. Overall not fun due to it feeling like it was made for middle age moms who think getting drunk off of wine is a personality trait.

Overall: save your money and maybe just pick up some older Jackbox Party Packs. It's pretty evident that they're scraping the bottom of the barrel on new games.

Pros to Party Pack 8:
• Drawful animated is a fun twist on regular drawful.
• Job Job is a fun, new game, that is pretty unique to any previous games.

Cons to Party Pack 8:
• Wheel of Enormous Proportions is a regular trivia game that just doesn't live up to Trivia Murder Party.
• The Poll Mine requires a large minimum number of players. Probably 8 to be worth playing.
• Weapons drawn just devolves into everyone drawing squiggles to try and hide things in the picture.
• None of the good games really justify buying this Party Pack. There are either better games or similar games on previous packs. Even Job Job, while fun, doesn't have enough going on to warrant the purchase of this pack.

This party pack is pretty good! Job Job was probably the favorite amongst my group of friends - just so silly and chaotic. The next great games that followed were The Poll Mine and The Wheel of Enormous Proportions. Drawful Animate was alright, but it was annoying that you couldn't erase or undo. I think Weapons Drawn has potential, but the execution just seemed off and the game was a bit convoluted.

Overall, this party pack is above average and provides a couple great games! I can see this party pack being fun for a lot of people, with some of the games being more enjoyable than others.

A fun and enjoyable local multiplayer game, or even an online game if you are able to stream it to your friends where you are able to play through your phone so everyone can play!
You are able to make it as innocent or as rude as you like, as you can set the rules!

The only downside is that you need friends :P

I could go into more detail as to why I think this is one of the frustrating entries in the series, but you really should not get this pack unless you have more than 4 people to play it with.

Technically you can play 80% of the games with 3 players, but games like Poll Mine were clearly not designed for small crowds even if only 2 people are needed to play it.

Quick Game by Game review:
Drawful Animate is hurt by the fact that you can't erase anything and that the actual drawing experience was a lot better in the previous Jackbox pack's drawing game Champ'd Up
Wheel of Enormous Proportions: This game had the potential to be the next Trivia Murder Party and could have carried the pack by itself with a better balance between luck and rewarding the contestants who actually know the answers to the trivia questions. The trivia portion of the game is as solid as any entry Jackbox has put out, but starting every player off with two slices to put on the wheel was a mistake. I don't know why Jackbox hasn't put out a patch to at least give players the option to make it less luck based.
Job Job: I loved it, but the group I played it with did not.
Poll Mine: This game is good. It's better with a larger group (as are most Jackbox games). However, in this case in especially important based on the game mechanics
Weapons Drawn: STEEP learning curve. If you can get past that, then I think this game has the most potential as it combines a lot of the elements that make Jackbox games fun into a single game. My group got bored and wanted to go back to Trivia Murder Party after 3 games of it and we've never gone back.

In conclusion: There are stronger Jackbox packs out there (especially 6 and 7) and most of them are a lot cheaper as well. Also, I'd highly recommend skipping this pack if the group of people you're going to be playing it with is 4 or fewer.

the jackbox party pack 8 is overall a good pack
Drawful Animate: i say it is much like Gartic Phone animate but people can win and thats the only difference and i guess guessing what drawing it is. 7/10 stars
Job Job: its quiplash but with words from other players its pretty fun and simple. 8/10
Poll mine: its very fun and a lot like family feud where players try to guess the most popular answer. 10/10
The Wheel of Enormous Proportions: ok, its not the worst game its pretty fun trivia game, but i can see why most people dont like it because its too luck based. 5/10
Weapons Drawn: oh yea the funny amogus game its a game where everyone is a murderer and a detective and to kill and solve murders by drawing weapons and hiding clues in them. 8/10
Nitpicks+Suggestions: i wish you could pick your character in games like Weapons Drawn and TWOEP because Job Job and Poll Mine lets you do that.
Final conclusion: 10/10 pack very fun like if you like dislike if you dislike also have good day :)

I think Weapons drawn is one of the most innovative games in the series. It takes from a lot of elements that were great about other games. One of the longest games but is super fun when you figure it out. I also really liked Poll Mine but I think it's easier to play in in person than online. The wheel of enormous proportions is fun if you are looking for something quick paced and kinda luck based. Drawful is just a classic and the animate part makes it more cute/funny. Overall a pretty fun pack.

The party game staple Jackbox returns with its eighth release. Does it have what it takes to keep the legacy going strong?

Overview
Party games require two key elements to live up to the expectations of the genre. First, they have to be easily accessible as the minimum number of players to get the game functioning is higher than in most genres. Second, they have to be easy to pick up so that players can hop in and get right to the fun with the least amount of initial investment possible. Jackbox tends to succeed in this regard with most of the games in its collection even if they are a mixed bag at times. The eighth entry in the series carries on the trend with a handful of games that are likely to entertain and disappoint in equal measure. I was lucky enough to have several good friends along for the ride and I’ve decided to rank the contents of this pack from the least impressive to most impressive experiences on offer.

#5: The Wheel of Enormous Proportions
The Wheel of Enormous Proportions is most easily defined as a combination of trivia and Wheel of Fortune. A multiple-choice question is posed to the group with well over a dozen answers. Many of these choices are correct and the player who selects the most correct and least incorrect among them is awarded the most points. The highest-scoring player receives a slice to put onto the wheel that is visited after every trio of questions. When the trivia action moves to the wheel, each player places their collected slices onto it and a lucky player gives it a spin. Whoever’s space it lands on receives a hefty batch of points with a few surprise landings on it to spice things up as well.

Every game is going to be subjectively judged and opinions may vary, though this was the game that the group unanimously decided was the worst in the pack. Trivia is hit-or-miss for me in general and I tend to get bored of it quickly, though it was a perfect storm of issues that lost me on this one. A short time restricted the amount of time that choices could be made and left a couple of the players who were playing on their phones frustrated as those using a browser had a serious advantage. I can certainly get on board with timed trivia, but time trivia that requires you to scroll on a smartphone while simply being point and click in a browser was rough. The wheel itself, the real gimmick of Wheel of Enormous Proportions, didn’t add much to the excitement either and there was a collective groan at one point when a near-win resulted in an entire additional round thrown on. This one’s likely to be a hard pass for me in the future unless someone else gets an urge to play and asks me to join in.

#4: Weapons Drawn
Weapons Drawn is a unique enough game, though where it bogs down is its complexity. Jackbox tends to pull in groups of players who are seeking out something quick, comedic, and casual to play with their friends but this one doesn’t fit as closely as the others as it has an initial learning curve that ends up slowing down the play session for an experience that, quite bluntly put, isn’t worth it even once everyone has it down. Each player is both a murderer and a detective who is tasked with drawing a murder weapon from a prompt. The catch is that a letter from your name is used as your calling card, something that links a murder to you, and you have to hide it as well as you can inside of your drawing. Depending on the letter this can be a particularly arduous task or extremely easy (I’m looking at you ‘I’). Players will then name their own guest they’re bringing to the party and the group will have to figure out who killed each others’ guests by judging the pictures that show up.

Although I wouldn’t say that Weapons Drawn was a bad experience, it wasn’t a thrilling one. It was less casual than the others in the pack and even after the investment required to learn it was behind us, we felt that we were mostly done with it before we’d even reached the end of our first run. If a murder mystery party game is what you’re looking for, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere at plenty of other places that do it better.

#3: The Poll Mine
Although my opinions have been a bit harsh, The Poll Mine comes in at number three and acts as the turning point. Each player is assigned to one of two teams that were named by the players themselves and takes off on an adventure where each location tasks them with answering a question in the form of a ranked poll. Teams then guess where the different answers ended up in the ranking in order to acquire the most torches with correct answers.

This one was a hit with most of the group and I could definitely see jumping back into it in the future. It’s a good time guessing how your friends voted in the ranking and the variety of questions keeps it fresh. There’s a strong interpersonal element that wasn’t in the previous two entries that made this one stand out as a fun experience that has you continually guessing how the rest of the players lined up their choices in a particularly subjective poll.

#2: Drawful Animate
The silver trophy goes to Drawful Animate. In this one, players receive a secret text prompt and have to draw it before the game begins. However, these pieces of art have a unique twist to them in that you’re drawing two frames that become an animation to be viewed by the group. These are revealed one at a time and the non-artist players submit their own fake prompts in an attempt to trick the others into voting for theirs instead of the right one. Points are awarded both for guessing the correct prompt and for having others vote for the false one that was added to the mix.

This was the game that felt the most like what I expected from Jackbox. It was fun and full of hilarious results hand-crafted by the personalities within the group. There was plenty of room for individuality and it was used to its full potential. I’m already getting the urge to play this one again and I would say that most of the conversations that have taken place since we ran through this pack have revolved around Drawful Animate.

#1: Job Job
The standout game this time around is the job interview “simulation” Job Job. Players compete as candidates for a position by answering a variety of icebreaker questions in their own words. Once these answers are submitted, they’re chopped up into their individual words and thrown together into one large batch. They are then distributed amongst the players so that they may answer new questions using only these words. They can be placed in any order, though players no longer have the ability to type in their own at this point. Points are awarded both by having your own words picked to create the new answers or by having your Frankstein-monster of a sentence voted as a better fit than the other player’s that it’s lined up against.

Job Job was a pleasant surprise as it checked all of the boxes for what I wanted out of a Jackbox game while also being something new. Everyone got a kick out of the sentence restructuring and guessing which players certain words in the jumble had come from. It was a tough call between Drawful Animate and Job Job for the top spot, but Job Job pulled off the win due to its uniqueness.

Verdict
The Jackbox Party Pack 8 lives up to its legacy with a few strong entries that are great additions to the collection overall. It’s likely to offer hours of fun for just about any group of players who are looking for a hilarious, personalized party game experience. That said, I would recommend waiting for a sale as it’s not the cheapest party game out there and there’s at least one entry that gets old before you’ve even finished your first game of it.

Thought it'd be hard to top Pack 7 but Pack 8 absolutely nailed it with the Job Job and Weapons Drawn minigames

Dearly wished there was an eraser or undo in the Drawful Animate minigame.. And an ability to save the profile pics we end up spending more time on than any other animations!!!

I also wished the game was more accessible for people who aren't american / don't know about american pop culture for the 2 trivia games..

Overall, it's a hella lot of fun!!

This is my favourite Jackbox Party Pack yet.
As always, there is a variety of games fit for all types of people. This pack especially, while having comedic games such as Job Job, does not rely on the formulaic comedy-games that are included in every pack. In fact, my group's favourite was The Poll Mine - a survey based/'how well do you know your friends' style game.
We don't hate any of the games in the pack; it is the only pack that has no drawbacks for us.

If these games seem like something you would enjoy, Jackbox Party Pack 8 is definitely worth the money!

Jackbox 8 isn't as strong as some of the other packs but it's still worth the money.

Like all the party packs, they are usually good fun! This pack fell just a tad short for me. Still, I recommend it because we did have fun playing this.

Drawful: Animate is just more Drawful, and I'm not the biggest fan of it. It's a great concept, but again, it's more Drawful. Also, why the heck did we lose the eraser? That's an unnecessary challenge added. Please give us erasers and more colors.

Job Job is easily the best game of the pack. You answer interview questions using other people's prompts. It gets INCREDIBLY hilarious at times. Definitely worthy of lots of replays.

The Poll Mine is surprisingly enjoyable. You answer survey questions and you have to guess which are the least/most popular amon your entire group of players. Easily a fun one because you can see how people think!

Weapons Drawn is really fun with the right group. You draw gifts, weapons, and murder! You have to throw people off your trail while also finding murderers using a letter in their name as the clue to the weapon. If you love a good mystery, then you will love this one.

Keeping in theme with each pack having a dud game...

The Wheel of Enormous Proportions is a game you need just the right people to play. It's entirely random who wins in the end even if you do well with the questions. Granted you can get some HILARIOUS responses to your questions, but it feels like this game is by far the weakest game in this pack.

It's still worth the $30 in my opinion.

Probably the best party pack to date. Almost every game is solid and fun (except Wheel of Enormous Proportions). Drawful animate is a welcome update to a classic, Poll mine is a fun reimagining of Family Feud, Job Job takes what works about Joke Boat and makes it easier to be funny (I recommend extending timers), and weapons drawn was a lot less complicated than I thought (so it worked just fine via Discord). The only stinker in this group is Wheel... because the host is annoying and painfully drags everything out. Anyone who has played these party packs knows that there is usually only one or two good games per pack... This pack has 4 solid games and some appreciated menu tweaks to make running games easier.
