The Little Acre erzählt die Geschichte von Aidan und seiner Tocher Lily im Irland der 50er Jahre. The Little Acre ist ein liebevoll gestaltetes Point&Click Adventure für zwischendurch. Die Story ist herzerwärmend und bringt auch eine gehörige Portion Humor, sowie eine sanfte Brise Tragik mit sich. Die Zeichnungen harmonieren mit der Story und sind durchgängig detailreich im Stil von disneyähnlichen Cartoonserien. Besonders schön fand ich den Effekt, dass die Spielperspektive wechselt mit betreten der Parallelwelt.

Das Spiel ist relativ einfach gehalten. Wer komplizierte Rätsel und große Herausforderungen sucht, wäre bei The Little Acre an der falschen Adresse. Aber für 2-3 Stündchen Abtauchen in eine andere Welt lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall. Schade nur, dass es wirklich nicht für länger konzipiert wurde. Vielleicht darf man auf eine Fortsetzung hoffen? Wäre zumindest schön.

Ein wirklich schönes Spiel, aber leider viel zu kurz! Eher was für Zwischendurch. Der Preis ist etwas hoch, im Angebot würde ich es aber auf jeden Fall empfehlen. War aber bestimmt viel Arbeit, also sei es den Machern gegönnt! Die Figuren und Hintergründe haben mir gefallen. Es ist süß gemacht und hat auf jeden Fall Spaß gemacht!

Kurz aber sehr unterhaltsam.
Ein großes Lob an die Entwickler. Charaktere sowie Story und Steuerung sind erstklassig. Es macht vonm Anfang bis Ende eine Menge Spass.

This is really short but really cute and fun little game. The game is pretty straightforward, the puzzles (if I can call them that) are not challenging at all, the gameplay is almost non existent, you just walking around the game, pick up a few stuff and read the lines. Still, it was like a fun little interactive cartoon.

Definitely recommend it at a discount, otherwise it's a bit too much for me for an hour and a half of playtime.

Like: Although the story and game is very short, it was extremely fun for my kids and self play. My 7 year old played if very well and it also entertained my 4 year old to watch.
Dislike: The 1st half is the best. It loses a lot on the 2nd half. Its a great introduction to point and click games for kids.

The Little Acre is one of those games you don't really want to give a negative review, mainly because of it's beautifully hand-drawn animations. If there was a 'mixed' choice I would have chosen that one.

First of all, the game is really short. I left the game running while doing something else so I can't say how long it really is but I'm pretty sure it's less than 2 hours and I did not rush through the game.

A short game does not have to be bad but in this case it does hurt the story. Personally to me it felt like the game was rushed, especially at the end. There are still several things unexplained at the end of the game as well. Voice acting was good enough, not amazing but it didn't really have to be. I did notice the voice actors got less lines as the story progresses.

Then there's the difficulty... if you can call it that. The Little Acre must be one of the easiest point & click adventures ever. The game is very linear, especially later in the game you have to find a solution in the very room you are in most of the time. All the things that you can click on are easily noticeable and solutions/puzzles never really make you think too hard.

Having said all that, the game does have it's unique vibe and I did have some fun. The Little Acre is miles away from big names in the point & click genre like Broken Sword or Monkey Island, just don't think it will be like those games. To be honest, I'm not entirely sure why I give this game a thumbs up but I still do.

The Little Acre is an enjoyable point n click adventure with a smooth cartoon-ish style and great voice-acting!

There's so much to love about this short but wonderful title, as the art style is beautiful and the soundtrack is fitting. The voice acting is definitely among the best when it comes to point n click adventures. Gameplay-wise it's your standard point n click with inventory, puzzle solving and finding what to press next. What makes it different is the jumping between characters and interaction with other NPCs (Bugsy is very much a friend!).

The story is simple but the world itself is interesting, it definitely piques your interest and wants you to continue exploring the game as you get further in. I wouldn't mind more adventures in this universe with the characters involved!

I definitely recommend this point n click adventure, for both newcomers and old fans!

This is a very nice, funny and short Point & Click adventure for children and some adults. I encountered one or two bugs that irritated me for some time, but in the end, it did not matter much. I will definitely play this some time later once more.

The animation and humour in this game is splendidly adorable! Although it is shorter than I would've liked, it did manage to pull on some heartstrings and get you invested in these characters as if you've known them for ages. Definitly just wish the game would've been longer, and, the story, more in depth.

This game is alright. It's got a lot of charming visuals and a really interesting aesthetic. The voice acting's pretty decent, too.

The gameplay is pretty decent. It's your average point-and-click adventure game.

Overall, it's a pretty charming game, though I don't know if I would pay the full price for it. The gameplay is pretty short, about 2 hours long. I would wait to get it on sale or something. 7/10

The art is great but sadly thats basicaly the only good thing with this game.

The story is veeery short and honestly there isn't much to it (I would love to see it get more fleshed out though). What I hate the most about this game is the constant jumping between characters. Like sometimes you don't even get a minute with the character and then you're of to the other character in another place walking for a few seconds and then you're back again. Also what is up with all the achievements?
If you are looking for a nice point-and-click puzzel game this is not one as there are no real puzzels, my own fault for not checking before I played it.

Overall it's a cute little game if you want to waste an hour but in the end I can't recommend it.
It's not worth buying it at full price so wait for a sale if you really want it.

I have purchased this game on summer sale and the money that I paid which is -80% off the actual price,I am afraid that this is all its worth.The game is very very short,finished it in 1 h.The story is so so,the art is very cute much like the game Anna's quest,but overall disapointing.Its rather bland, not exciting and the puzzles sometimes lack any logic and most of them are very very very...i cant stress this enough VERY easy.I am sorry but I cant recomend this game,at least not for its full price.Nothing ''fantasy'' like nothing ''memorable''about it like some claim.

Hope I didn't pay much for this game.....waaay too short,even for me. Nothing remotely challenging,so if you are after a somewhat cute easy game...go for it...just don't spend more than a couple of dollars on it.

The game is cute, funny, heart warming, and SHORT OH MY GOD IS IT SHORT!

Look, I liked the game but it honestly wasn't 13 dollars in length. More like 5 maybe. If you can get it on sale ABSOLUTELY pick it up, but do yourself a favor and don't overpay.

This is an adorable, if short, point and click adventure. By far the best part is the voice acting but the art is also quite charming. I found the story interesting and engaging if a bit shallow. Similarly, the puzzles are quite straightforward and do tend towards the simple which leads to a fairly short playtime (and since there's an achievement for speedrunning the game in under an hour, this seems to be intentional). Still, it's well worth picking up on sale and playing for an evening.

Very cute and very short The Little Acre is, I think this is a good conversation to have with yourself about the conversion between time and money. The comments about the length of the game is true it's indeed very short and even the developers know this as they included an achievement for beating the game in an hour so take that for what you will.

I think everything minus the story is wonderfully done, the art is perfect, the voice actors are well picked and none of the characters really got on my nerves. Not many puzzles in the terms of having to click everything on everything at most you'll have 2-3 items at a time and there's only so much to interact with that it shouldn't be an issue to get through the game

While i did really like the game i don't think i could justify the 13$ price tag for something that can be beat in an hour but highly recommend getting it if it's discounted

To be honest, the game is pretty short and not too difficult (I finished it in a bit less than 2 hours), but it must be played just because of the gorgeous hand-made animation and all the love, dedication and work behind it. The music is also remarkable and the characters are quite charming, but sadly I had no time to empathise with them as much as I'd like. Anyway, this game is worth a try, and I'm sure I will play it again in a not too distant future, just the same thing I used to do with Don Bluth's movies when I was a child.
