After receiving an anonymous package containing a strange book, Miranda finds herself inadvertatly drawn into the fantastic world of The Otherside. With the guidance of the mischevious Jovie, a possessed teddy bear, she must travel back and forth between worlds and help to unravel the mystery of a brother and sister torn apart. All is not as it seems in this realm of secrets and enigmas, and you must help Miranda to solve the many riddles that lay within. Enlist the mysterious Michael's help and watch the story unfold through animated in-game comics. Journey through over 25 beautifuly detailed locations as you discover all the objects hidden throughout. Combine various items to create new tools to help you further your quest. Solve over 10 puzzling minigames to help Miranda locate the missing Louise and save her from a ghastly fate. It's up to you to help Miranda save the day and unravel the mysteries of The Otherside: Realm of Eons.

This plays as if it's designed for pre-school kids both visually and in playing style - slow with irritating boxes popping up all the time. Worst aspect of all though is that the game will NOT play in full screen mode, only in a small window making it difficult to impossible to find the items required.
Having only managed to put up with this child's game for and increasingly boring 10 minutes I can't comment on any hidden object games - if there are any. So far the only searches have shown thumbnails of the items to find or just a number for a specific object i.e. 5 brushes, 12 origami birds etc.
It is so boringly simple with no requirement for any kind of skill just amazing eyesight - although by going into the menu it is possible to look at a larger screen then return it to it's windowed format to play. Nah, don't think so. 0/5

Okay hidden object game but story line was choppy and not cohesive and ends quickly. There is also a bear that is suppose to be helpful and at times is funny but other times just annoying and seems to lead you away from the plot of story line.

The Otherside was good. If you like these casual hidden-object games, you'll probably like this one too. The game took around three hours to finish.

As hidden object games go, The Otherside isn't bad. Locations are never reused, the characters are interesting, and the story is actually engaging. The story is also all over the place, with a talking stuffed bear, portals that open between our world and The Otherside, and a kidnapped little girl. Although the story makes little coherent sense, it's well done for this sort of casual fare, even if some of the puzzles get repeated towards the end of the game.

A fun locate-the-objects puzzle game. If you enjoy FB games such as Gardens of Time, you will undoubtedly like The Otherside. The narrative is a little strange, but there are several different puzzle types to keep the gameplay interesting. The Otherside doesn't try to break the mold too much however and is a good choice for the casual gamer. The Otherside is definitely a great pick for anyone who has a penchant for puzzles.

Good game if you like those hunt the objects style games... beautiful graphics, decent story... easy to pick up, play, put down, and get on with life :)
