Heute das game mal instaliert und festgestellt das da gar keine deutsche sprache drin ist,nur untertitel.ist jetzt zwar kein beinbruch aber mein englisch ist jetzt nicht das beste und ich möchte schon etwas verstehn und nicht nur lesen dann nehm ich mir ein buch.bei steam steht auch drinn deu sprache und text,hätte ich das vorher gewusst dann konte ich mir das geld sparen zurück gebe ist nicht zu lange in der bibliotek.schade

Feels more like CoD because often you can't go stealtt
- checkpoints often suck
- mouse controls are really bad
- performance is bad for the visuals (rtx3090)
- fps locks to 60fps at best if it cant reach 60 it drops to 30 which is unplayable (disabling vsync does not work)
- it also start the ubisoft launcher where you have to login each time you want to play if you start this game via steam
- some minor bugs that were annoying but not game breaking

You can still play the game's online coop, you just need to block the following IPs:

185.38.21.83
185.38.21.84
185.38.21.85

Some people say .83 works for them, but otherwise, blocking these should have matchmaking work. Lot of wait time between invites and such, but still functions perfectly fine as of today's date.

No idea if PVP will work, but if you and a group of people try it out, you can probably get private games going.

A frustrating cover based shooter, disguised as a stealth tactical game. Every single level is full of scripted non-stealth fights and even when I manage to sneak with zero kills on some places, the game didn't let me progress unless an alarm is raised and enemies come to trigger a certain animation that would allow me to progress (like drop down a ladder that is otherwise unreachable).

There's zero freedom of approach, it's very much linear and straightforward which is exactly the opposite of being tactical.

A remarkable third-person co-op game after all these years, with a fantastic campaign (and, btw, not that short), amazing gunplay and loads of customization features! The plot is a bit generic (as are many in the Tom Clancy's line of games), but it's a great purchase nonetheless!

The main campaign is a little bit generic but still pretty interesting. Buy the base game, DON'T buy the deluxe edition and DLC, it'll be a waste of money because the servers is dead.

The game was good but as soon as I see 'Ubisoft' and 'have to use Ubisoft connect' I groan - I now avoid all Ubisoft games... I would advise others to do the same. Why have a game on Steam when you need to download other loaders as well??? I come to play, not work!

The bastardisation of a once great franchise continues...

While marketed as a tactical third-person shooter it's nothing more than a run of the mill, cover-based, modern(ish) military shooter. Absolutely indistinguishable from other titles from that era where everything tried to be Call of Duty. From the outset you're given a tutorial masquerading as gameplay, giving you 20-30 seconds of play at a time while the rest is spent watching dull cutscenes with nauseating shaky cameras and one-dimensional characters. It takes away what made Ghost Recon a superb tactical shooter, the freedom to plan and make your own choices, to approach situations the way you want to. GRFS forces you to play the game the developers want you to play, the antithesis of what made Ghost Recon a staple of the tactical shooter genre to begin with.

A fun campaign as an advanced soldier but not overdone super soldier. Think halfway between Halo Spartan and marine e.g., ODST. Unfortunately, feels like a temporary game, something Ubisoft made just to fill a gap between the next game.

Pros:
-Advanced soldier abilities: not overdone or too middling either
-Interesting campaign and decent mix of guns
-Sync-shot very useful in single-player mode
-Quality graphics and FPS gameplay for a 2010 game

Cons:
-Very short campaign
-Some paid DLC (though not really necessary e.g., guns)
-Half-baked multiplayer
-Ubisoft U Play account required

Final Verdict: A fun game in the Ghost Recon series as a more tech-y but not uber soldier with decent graphics/environment but with a short campaign

Super fun campaign! i really like the AI in this game. It's very intelligent. no complaints here besides sound and that it's online only. You have to get Ubisoft Connect through the internet in order to play the game at all. Plus, i cant wait to play co op campaign with my brother. It gives me an army of 2 vibe with a spice of SOCOM US navy seals.

Ubisoft, this used to be one of your best franchises. These were solid games, built well and had really great stories and campaigns.

Over time however they have failed to maintain these games and give them the love and support they deserve to ensure its a smooth experience to play.

Pathetic of you Ubisoft. Users having to buy your old games just so that they can waste 2 hours trying to make things run. Co op worked once and never again and there's no proper solution to make it happen either.

Greedy money hungry establishment is what you've become.

Seriously disappointed with how this turned out. Never recommending any mode games.

Ubisoft sucks so much balls. Specifically the Uplay was worst and now Ubisoft Connect is equally as worthless. My Steam account is connected to my email and for some horribly stupid reason, there's no way to update it without going through a loop system on their help page which gets you absolutely nowhere. Thus, I sure hope this gets someone intelligent's attention because the game itself, AWESOME. UBISOFT CONNECT, HORRIBLE.

Played pirated version back then. and when I saw the game on steam, I bought it.
love the story and gameplay. the graphic looks good in 2021 (yeah I know it can't compared to current games). I wish this game get remaster!!

Last really good GRAW game, spent probably a few hundred hours in multiplayer back on 360. The campaign and Co-op are still there, but the MP servers were long since shut down. Get it on sale or don't get it at all, and don't even bother with the DLC

Just buy it for single-player perspective.. co-op had been cut off (don't know about LAN) from ubisoft-server relation. So buying other DLC (co-op or multiplayer related) is pretty much useless.

i Loved this game back in the day and wanted to check it out so recently purchased to play COOP with a friend, i can CONFIRM COOP WORKS, ONLINE! a few off the other reviews say you cant, with a little patience and menu hopping until the game actually finds your friends name in the Find Friends tab, it works, im in Japan and my friend in the UK, so yeah. Even now the game shocks me playing it back years after, Graphics are very playable, the weapon customisation was well ahead of its time, some features that took years for games to even implement, timed sync shooting etc, and coop actually feels like coop, none of this playing as the same person and seeing the same thing, what i see on my screen is different to my friend when playing giving us both the same experience but down a different visual/playable path.

One of the most underrated TPS out there. Got it on sell, loving it. Sad that you can't go for co-op or multiplayer anymore. But, for the campaign, it's worth playing. Don't listen to the reviews which says this game sucks. Breakpoint sucks, this doesn't. Play it to bring back the good old memories of earlier Tom Clancy games, when some shitty shooting game called Xdefient wasn't called under Tom Clancy's name.

By saying this, I would like to tell everyone, enjoy the game. It's just *TACTICOOL* enough.

Awesome, unique and futuristic tactical shooter - its not like other titles where you run around with guns blazing!! you are a squad leader and have to plan and coordinate attacks carefully

When the attack / mission objectives are achieved - the experience is extremely rewarding !!

They closed down severs and didn't provide us with any other means to play AT LEAST COOP with friends

I bought 3 f&^#^ copies of this game just to play coop with friend and family. That is the ONLY reason why I bought this game and now I cannot play coop anymore

FUCK COMPANIES THAT DO GAME WITH EXPIRATION DATE

I can play freaking Quake 2 TODAY and I will be able to do so until the day I die cause GOOD COMPANIES give players means to host coop MP by themselves

there is P2P, there are dedicated servers, EVEN FREAKING LAN would do

OR AT LEAST INTEGRATE COOP WITH STEAMWORKS

but no... they wont give any means to play to you

they want to close down servers and they want you to be a good cashcow and buy their new games

Fuck such world... I really loved playing coop in this game. IT WAS AMAZING

it was so amazaing that I would most likely come back at least once every year to replay it again like I do for example with R6 Vegas or Ghost Recon Advanced Warrior.

I know I am definetely in minority here... most people dont give a shit about being able to play their games longer then a year or two

Overall gameplay was adequate. Before you start a mission it lets you configure your weapons on initial briefings that suits your playstyle. The ending of it was a big cliffhanger. The only problem in this game was the constant crashes.

Great game, horrible PC port. Stay away from this port. I recently bought it as i've played this back on X360 but this port is nothing like that. Sure you get higher resolution but that's about it. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this port. It's a good game just not worth on PC

I like the game, but I bought it to play co-op with my wife and the muliplayer/co-op features don't work. I am tired of companies selling us games that either don't work or that they modify later causing them to not start and/or so that certain features no longer function. It's not just this game from Ubisoft, I ran into this with 2K (X-COM 2), Activision (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 1), the MS store (Resident Evil: Racoon City) and others. IF THE GAME DOES NOT WORK THEN STOP SELLING IT OR MAKE IT WORK!

For this game to be release back in 2012 is not bad if you just want to play it on your own. Graphics obviously are in par with the year it was released but if you can see past then you'll have a blast with this game. I played this on the xbox 360 back around in 2014 I think, I can't remember how long ago it was. I decided to buy it here on steam as well because it was on sale and I remember how much fun it was. To me the replay-ability of this game is very high. On the down side if you are looking forward for co-op or multiplayer modes, I believe the servers for are down now.

Well, after uninstalling and reinstalling a few times, making sure my ubisoft account works etc, bindings, graphics and other tips from the community...I am uninstalling this ridiculous game. Have no control over anything, its glitchy as **** so I am done with this.
Stay away from ancient technology that doesn't work.
Its weird though....the older Tom Clancy Ghost Recon games work just fine

I love this game. I've bought it for multiple platform because I just couldn't get enough of it. It's single-player only nowadays, you can probably find multi-player games at certain times only or by joining Ghost Recon forums across the internet that still play this. Maybe it's not the most realistic Ghost Recon game there is, but it's certainly the coolest. I love the squad dynamics, banters, and jokes cause it makes it immersive and I imagine that how most of the personnel in the US Military talk.

Gun customization is cool AF. I like to dive into this game just customizing guns and test em on the range without even touching the main campaign, or just stare at them and spin em around.

If you plan on buying this, be mindful that you buy it for single player only, don't get your hopes up for multiplayer. The DLC Raven Strike contains 3 more single player campaign mission, for a fan like me, it's very well worth it. Other DLC (Khyber Strike and Arctic Strike) only contains multiplayer content.

This game was MY NUMERO UNO co-op tactical shooter of all time,
untill Ubisoft and their stupidity kills the campaign co-op by shutting down the server.

Until there is further notice ( which i don't think there will be ),
DONT BUY THIS GAME FOR CAMPAIGN COOP OR MULTIPLAYER MODE.

Don't buy if you want to play campaign co-op. Not supported any more, and neither is any other part of multiplayer I believe. No local LAN play option and nothing worked despite trying with Hamachi running.
Very, very heavily scripted and nothing like GRAW or GRAW 2 which is what I was hoping for. I only played a very small amount as I only intended to play the campaign in co-op, but on the strength of what I saw I wouldn't want to play any more.
It really shouldn't still be advertised as supporting co-op play or multiplayer when it doesn't. Single player only.
Am currently in the process of trying to get everything refunded.

The campaign had a nice length to it, and the difficulty levels not only increased the AI's prowess, but also introduced additional requirements to some of the missions (like do it all without being detected, don't let the robot take any damage, etc.). We had a good time planning out our attacks with the new coordinated shot mechanic, and the magnetic visor was surprisingly helpful. All in all, we had a good time with this game. I did not spend a whole lot of time with the competitive multiplayer, but what I did experience felt like a standard fare offering. It wasn't technically deficient. It just didn't seem like anything especially noteworthy.

The bottom line: It's worth it for the story campaign, especially if you have 3 other friends to join you. It's not worth it if you're interested in it solely based on the competitive multiplayer.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier has a nice campaign featuring strong gunplay, a sinister plot, gunfights with civilians and relatively open maps. Sure, the characters could have been polished more and some missions feel cheap when you have to be stealthy and if you get caught, you have to replay parts again. But you can always just stealth through without shooting anyone. Plus, I absolutely loved the ending mission.

What are the cons? It runs on uplay, which means you need another client to run the game. Also, many people are experiencing performance problems. I did as well until I found a fix by installing an old NVIDIA Legacy Physx driver. Keep in mind that Steam is only showing 0.2h on record since I played the game offline because I wasn't sure if Steam and Ubisoft slow down the game with some kind of dated copyright security.

Bought it for myself and a friend to play coop. Guess what, you have to connect to some ubisoft server that rests somewhere in a landfill, underneath Atari's E. T. burial site. After going through hoops following online guides no luck. Apparently inviting someone to a lobby seemed to be the most coplex part of online gaming(to ubisoft at least) at the time of this piece of sht game's release. There should be a warning added to the store page warning people about this.

My favorite Ghost Recon installment. Be aware that this requires Ubisoft Connect be installed, and it doesn't seem to run all that smoothly on my system (Intel Core i7, GTX1050, 12Gb RAM). I got this because I loved the story and gameplay from when I owned it on the 360 console.

I cant stress enough how poorly optimized this game is on PC. The game is unplayable, when you look around the environment stutters significantly and the frames frequently drop to as low as 6. It's nothing but a really bad port. I spent hours looking for a fix on the google machine and it no one has found one that works and not surprisingly enough, Ubisoft has offered zero support since its release from what I can find. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME

So I've tried to install this game several times and it never works? It isn't my PC or anything, there is something wrong with this game in particular. Apparently I'm not the only one either, it seems to be a common issue. If someone has a fix I'm all ears, until then I can't recommend this game because it may not work.

The graphics is ok, can't really feel outdated, cinematic storytelling, but I have problem with its control. Bought it for the campaign and play it as single player on PC with keyboard mouse, oh god the control is so difficult, probably is my fault which I didn't get to know it earlier that it is ported from console

Game loading screen & menu
I have to Press Any Key to continue twice to see the main menu. The first one is telling me the game will perform auto-save which is ok, the second one is not saying anything other than Press Any Key. When in game, I wish to adjust some setting like key binding or graphics, ops… I am not allowed to do that, I have to first quit the game, back to the main menu, then only can change the settings, the biggest problem is quitting to the main menu can take as long as loading the game

Taking cover
Like the rest of those shooting game out there, the character can duck behind a half-height wall to avoid being detected or shooting at. But in this game, just duck behind the wall is not considered in cover, player has to press the space key, then the character will stick his back to the wall, and then now only being considered in cover, nice to see the realistic gesture animation, but it's not very convenience in gameplay. Should have just treat me as in cover or auto getting into cover whenever I duck right behind a wall

Getting out of cover
Some time I have to get out from the existing cover quick because my position is exposed and being shooting at, that moment my mind is, hey I wanna go left quick, so I keep punching the left key, hoping that my character will just get out, but no, he just stick his back to the wall every time I pressed the left key, probably it's my problem where I can't stay calm in such situation. The correct key sequence to get out of cover is to press the space key first, then only direction key, or by pressing the backward key then only other direction key

Difficulty vs. AI teammates
I have 3 AI teammates, but they always down, ghost lead is the first to go down every, single, time. I did double check the difficulty setting, indeed I selected recruit, but then I die whenever I take the second bullet

Enemy know exactly where I am when camo activated
After enemy has seen me for the first time, I run into some walls or something, duck to activate camo, then I move to other position without being seen, then I try to move from cover to cover without using cover swap, then the enemy will know exactly where I am and start shooting at me right away. This doesn't make sense, no way he could have known where I am, especially my camo is still active

Sprint
My character can sprint when I am holding the Shift key. During a sprint, I can't precisely control where he is heading to, because he is either going way too left or way too right, it's like riding a bicycle without holding the handlebars, very difficult to make him sprint straight to where I want him to go

Camera angle
During sprint, the camera will always be lower down to my character's upper tight lever, and he is blocking 1/3 of the screen, causing difficulty when deciding where should he go. Also when there is a time when I am cooking a grenade in a cover, the game is so nice showing me the trajectory, but then the camera is placed so low that my character's body is blocking the landing point, so the trajectory is useless at that time. Worst, some time even the cover will also block the landing point

FREEDOM!!! The Broeist shooter i have ever played. This game revolves around you and your 3 delta force navy seal elite spec op ranger squadmates, and your unquenchable thirst to kill terrorists and save the world (read: America).
Future Soldier is a super fun 80's action movie futuristic third person tacticool shooter with a very tight story, and just enough humor thrown in to keep your eyes from glazing over from the on-screen explosions.
Its really the little things in this game that get to me, like the interactions between squadmates. Them picking each other up and shaking it off with fist bumps, to the playful banter between them to cut the tension in between enemy contact.
I love the glorified loading screens... i mean the breaching scenes in this game, they really reinforce the team focused tactical attitude this game promotes so heavily.
This game doesn't take itself too seriously, and neither should you. 9/10 I think i spent more time in this game customizing guns than actually playing the story.

A nice game, 12 missions, 10 hours to complete.

I loved this came for the coop back in the day. Recently my friend got the game because good coop is limited these days. Problem is we could not join each other. We tried and tried but this runs through Uplay and for some reason we could not invite each other when one of us created a game.

Great game but due to Uplay, I would say stay away. Its broken from my experience.

I'm giving this a pretty tepid Yes rating.

It's an older game, but still decent. Multiplayer, co-op, and Uplay Club are all non-functioning, so you'll only be getting a singleplayer campaign. The campaign plays kind of like a COD campaign with more stealth. It's not a bad experience, but there are quite a few better shooters available these days.

Ghost Recon as it should be.

Disclaimer: Previously owned on Xbox 360 and Xbox One via backwards compatibility.

This is one of the few games that ever managed to make an impression on me. I have loved this game from the moment I saw it's E3 reveal to the moment my 360's disk tray embraced it lovingly. Even now I still love this game. Everything about it was/is just amazing. The characters have a believable and enjoyable monologue. The enemies make you feel justified in mowing them down like grass in an overgrown lawn. The stealth, the stealth is purely amazing. The gun play is smooth and fun while simultaneously difficult but rewarding. The environments are well crafted and all feel unique. There's even a decent story to back up gameplay mechanics that make me wonder what the hell Ubisoft is doing to this franchise (I mean you, Wildlands and Breakpoint). Honestly, this is one of the few games/franchises that makes me wish I could rewind time and play for the first time again. Sure, the campaign is short but damn is it fun. Especially if you have friends - I don't anymore but I once did.

Hardware wise; I ran this with a 1060, 16GB of RAM and an i7 7700. I ran the game with maxed out settings at 60 FPS (I think it's locked at 60 FPS). I didn't have any issues with frame drops, bugs or glitches. I also didn't need to download any crazy mods to make this game work. It still functions/plays superbly. I think the multiplayer servers are shut down but who needs 'em?

I definitely recommend this game. Maybe get it on sale if you want to screw those greedy franchise killing bastards at Ubi... I mean, um. Yeah, just buy the game.

I've only played for 2 hours, but so far this game is amazing. It's so goddamn tactical, you can modify every weapon, you have wallhacks when you press V, You have a goddamn UAV, and you have a invisibility camo.

There are two methods of playing the game...I think. You can either go loud or you can try the stealthy approach. Either way, the game is fun. This was the time when Ubisoft made actual quality games and not just cash grabs. So...do I recommend this? Hell yeah I do!
And right now it's only 5 bucks so totally worth it.

9,9/10 because you have to run up 15 flights of stairs.

GR Future Soldier is one of those xbox 360 era titles that really was either a hit or a miss for many. For me it was a solid hit. I liked the future warfare aspect of the title, with invisible stealth sections, and a decent single player. Kind of dated at this point but still alot of fun if you have a friend to play with. I'd give this a easy 7/10

UPlay Required

The last of what I will call the ‘Classic’ Ghost Recon Series (meaning single player campaigns/experience comes first), before all the ‘Live Service’ mess that was Wildlands and Breakpoint. It really didn’t deserve the criticism that Future Soldier received, gameplay wise (not the Ubisoft anti-pc PR disaster), because the gameplay is solid in the single player, and even the multiplayer was fun when it had a small but alive community (its dead now).

Gameplay is very much in the vane of Splinter Cell: Conviction, as it uses the same engine (also a lot of the same gameplay mechanics). You can no longer control your AI squads as you could in Advanced-Warfare which is disappointing and removes some of the strategy and control that Ghost Recon used to be known for, but the gameplay still remains ‘tactical’ even though it does mean that the player does the majority of the heavy lifting in the levels. One big thing to mention is that in contrast to what other reviews say, nearly whole levels, and others just parts can be completed with stealth (not counting the plot forced shootout usually at the end of missions to push forward the story ‘as all modern games add’).

Compared to the Consel version the PC port has better controls and the unlocks of weapons and attachments are not broken as they are on the console that I have seen (strange for Ubisoft, whose PC ports are bad).

Pro: Gunplay, Gun customizations, In-game unlocks (in an Ubisoft game), Typical Ubi Shooter

Con: On-rail sections. Forced shootouts/cutscenes, Limited weapon selections, UPlay
