Situated in a remote region of southern Chile, the small community of [b]Villa Hess[/b] is maintained by its local mining and fishing industries, with many livelihoods dependent on the exports of the nearby [b]Wildberger & Hess Fish Processing Plant[/b]. As such, the isolated community lives hand-to-mouth, turning to [b]Mother Lucia[/b] and her secretive sisterhood for spiritual guidance during difficult periods.
Following Anna’s abduction, Caroline awakens to find the town [b]eerily empty[/b] and is forced to navigate her way through some [b]truly unsettling environments[/b]. From the faded splendour of [b]Lucia’s Convent[/b], to the decrepit amusements of the [b]Galeria Luna Shopping Mall[/b], through the imposing mausoleums of the [b]Cemetery[/b], to the echoing corridors of the abandoned [b]High School[/b].

While exploring, Caroline soon discovers that she is not alone as the[b] corrupted inhabitants of the town[/b] reveal themselves. Tortured fanatics and quadrupedal bladed horrors stalk the shadows, as barnacle-encrusted abominations skitter through ventilation ducts. But beyond reality in the ‘Other Side’ lie the greatest threats, [b]beings of immense power[/b] that will require more than firepower alone to overcome.
Fortunately, Caroline will have a[b] greatly expanded range of weapons[/b] at her disposal. The [b]Automatic Nailer [/b]can unleash a steady stream of razor-sharp rounds while the lethal triple-barreled [b]Hand Cannon[/b] will stop even the biggest creatures in their tracks. Caroline can also take advantage of the new [b]quick select feature [/b]that allows her to [b]switch weapons[/b] in the heat of battle, as well as [b]new upgrade components[/b] to strengthen her arsenal further.
