We’re thrilled to celebrate a meaningful milestone: Way of the Hunter has sold over 1 million

copies. Since our launch in August 2022, this isn’t just a number, it’s a clear sign of your

support and something we’re genuinely proud of.

Whether you joined on day one or started exploring just last week, this journey has been

built together with you, your passion, your feedback, and your continued belief in what we’re

creating.

Shaped by the Hunt, Guided by You

From the beginning, our vision for Way of the Hunter was to create a space where ethical,

immersive hunting could be experienced in its purest form. In the early weeks and months,

your feedback led to rapid, targeted updates.

Over time, we introduced big expansions that opened up entirely new regions - from the

tranquil mountains of Aurora Shores, to the savannas of Tikamoon Plains, the waterfalls of

Matariki Park, and the Nordic wilds of Lintukoto Reserve. These maps brought new

ecosystems and species, richer stories, and more complex systems.

Alongside that, we partnered with trusted brands to bring you a wide array of realistic gear -

from firearms and ammunition to optics, archery, hunting gear, and vehicles. Whether

through paid DLC or free update, each addition was rooted in real-world performance and

then carefully refined, including based on your input.

With every update and expansion, we developed the experience further: introducing rare fur

variations, expanded taxidermy options, character selection, more diverse animal behavior

(yes, even charging!), and highly requested features like ammo changes and herd fitness

management.

We've also made some mistakes, but we have always tried to address them as quickly as

we could. We are constantly evaluating what works and what we can and will try to improve

in the future. Most importantly, we want to stay rooted in what hunting truly means: respect

for nature, attention to detail, and the thrill of the moment.

Coming Soon: The Night Hunting Pack DLC

One of the most-requested features since launch has been the ability to hunt at night, and

we’ve taken our time with it to make sure it feels just right. The upcoming Night Hunting Pack

DLC adds a new dimension to your hunts, focused on the unique challenges and quiet

intensity of nighttime in the wild.

With specialized tools and carefully designed systems, this new experience will truly make

night hunting feel distinct and immersive.
