I contacted support, and their response was that there was nothing they could do. Basically, the game is designed in a way where if you want to remain a guild leader, you must log in every single day, otherwise you risk losing everything you built.
There is no warning, no protection for the guild founder, and no way for support to help. This completely kills any motivation to invest time and effort into the social side of the game.
Very poor guild system design and extremely disappointing support.

The combat system feels fluid, dynamic, and deeply satisfying. Blending martial arts techniques with elegant swordplay, every encounter feels cinematic yet skill-based. I especially appreciated the freedom to approach battles in different ways — whether through stealth, agility, or direct confrontation. The mechanics are intuitive but still offer enough depth to stay engaging for hours.
Exploration is another major highlight. The world feels alive, filled with meaningful side quests, memorable characters, and hidden secrets that reward curiosity. Traveling across mountains, forests, and villages never feels repetitive thanks to the game’s rich environmental storytelling and dynamic weather system.
The narrative is equally impressive. The story unfolds naturally, allowing players to shape their own journey while still delivering emotionally powerful moments. The writing is thoughtful, and the character development adds real weight to your decisions.
Overall, Where Winds Meet is a masterfully crafted adventure that successfully combines beauty, freedom, and compelling gameplay. It’s a must-play for fans of open-world RPGs and anyone who appreciates a well-designed, atmospheric experience.

Best Persistant Multiplayer Dungeon game.
MMORPG WORLD SYSTEM (8/10): EXCELLENT, but too many menus
"Where wind meet" is a hybrid Multiplayer game with a game lobby and a interactive world, that have character progression based on a Single Player mode. Your quests/level progression mainly happens in a single player world. It is here the narrative and plot unfold, where you fights the soul-like bosses. Combat is fluid and smooth, comparable with the likes of BDO.
The game lobby is a series of menus that open up various activities where you can join queues to fight dungeons, bosses (5man and 10man), or engages in PVP contest (1v1 and multiple player groups). The interactive world is just like a MMORPG, you can travel around, kill stuffs, collect resources and see everyone else. This world allows open world PVP and all manners of freedom.
COMBAT SYSTEM (9/10):
Combo based combat similar to most soullike/action combat game. Each character can equip 2 weapon, each with 4-6 moves. With around 10 odd weapons to choose, you can work out various combi. In addition, you can obtain various universal moves known as Mystic Arts (I see them as a series of addons, with some skills to improve combat mobility/durability/CC/counters). You can only equip 8 of these skills to your arsenal to further expand your combat option.
PAY TO WIN/GRIND TO WIN/GROVEL TO WIN (10/10): BEST in MARKET
Probably the best feature of this game. Any poor dude will get close to the whales. So no way to pay for power.
No excessive grinding will gain you overwhelming resources, that will give you super distinct advantage. No grovel to your guild leaders to get first dips on loots, and maneuver in guild politics.
GEARING
Gearing is casual, just play 30min-1hr daily, you should get to level cap and gear cap in no time.
DEATH PENALTY
Close to nil, since everytime you die u lose 1 durability for each gear. Each gear has 100 durability and the repair is cheap.
COSMETIC (10/10 or 0/10): Depends if you get jealous over someone else outfit
They have quite detailed and beautiful free outfits, with a few dollars you can get some outfits. These are pretty cool too. Then you suddenly goes from few tens of dollars to whale class. These are outfits that cost till $800, and weapons close to $2k. Then again, since it is just to "Pay to Look Beautiful", I am fine, since they are paying the server uptime.

The game looks great and the storyline itself is very interesting heartbreaking and heartwarming and sometimes will leave you on the cliffhanger and the scenery is pretty good from time to time but sometimes textures fail to load in and sometimes a npc would either be invisible or sometimes you'll see some of them doing t poses which is hilarious. You're able to play with friends through co-op either progressing the story together or playing multiplayer that is until the game constantly disconnects/lag/crash you from the servers the developers should be more focused on fixing lag and disconnect issues instead of putting in content first and try to make everyone look pretty. The microtransactions are not all that great concern the fact that they have different Indian currency that would also involve you to gamble your money away to just get a legendary outfit when they can just make it to where you can just buy it out right then and there instead of gambling your money away. You can start up a guild but the problem is requires guild funding to keep it up which they take out guild funding for maintenance daily when all they have to do is just let you keep the guild that you work so hard to create and have. As for boss fights and mobs the fighting is pretty somewhat decent it seems like hit boxes for PVP and PVE is wonky a little sometimes don't match up when you parry or Dodge and it does get aggravating from time to time. As for keep biting your keys you don't really have a lot of options to place your keys whenever you want it would be nice if you can have a little bit more customization hopefully later in the update I hope they consider doing so.
Overall if the developers of Everstone Studio would fix some of the issues and adjust on certain things this game can be enjoyable my average rating is a solid 5/10 I would have given it a 10 out of 10 if the issues I listed would be fixed and certain things would be adjusted.

The UI is a nightmare. There are menus within menus. There are a hundred different things you can claim every three steps you take, and they are all hidden under a hundred different sections of the menus, half of them accessed from different places. There are also a thousand different currencies... some you get by playing, some you don't... it's honestly an annoying mess.
Monetization is absurd. Half the real-money stuff is locked behind gambling which is extremely pricey, and the half you could straight up buy is just ridiculously expensive, costing a bit under fifty dollars for an outfit.
EDIT: Just to address something I see brought up often, I consider cosmetics to be part of a game's experience and just as important as all other graphics and customizations: there's no "it's just cosmetic" excuse. The shop prices are predatory, period.

First off, "F2P" is a fallacy. There is no such thing as a free lunch. People want to throw out that "its a great game and its free". When its not, your access to the game is a transactional contract. You give your information, your data, which can be sold to third parties or given to the CCP for "reasons". If you feel its worth that price, then by all means, indulge yourself.
Secondly, this game's true nature is simple: its a whale game. Everything about this game is driven about the collection of cosmetic items to be applied to your character, which you can then show off when you interact in the game's social game modes. It's so overt, the game literally tracks your cosmetic collection as a stat known as "elegance", and its tracked on global leaderboards. Whaling is literally the lifeblood of this game.
If you can accept the fact, this game is designed to social engineer you into buying the ludicrously overpriced cosmetics, and engage with the predatory gacha systems (its pity pull system requires $300 USD to trigger). then you may be able to enjoy this game without much issues. If you however, have OCD and collection obsessive urges. I strongly urge you, to stop here, and *DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME*. You simply will not be able to afford it, most of the legendary gacha-only skins cost upward of $600 dollars investment to even have a CHANCE of getting one without incredible luck that beats less then 1% drop rates. You have better chances at casinos, then with this game's gacha. It's not worth it unless you have money to waste.
If you can past these shortcomings, then you have to deal with a phenomenal game that will eventually whiplash you with its F2P nature.
MY experience with Where Winds Meets began great. It's story, its accessibility, its world building, all exceptional. Then you hit the F2P wall. The developers have put in, internal daily hard caps on drops so efficient grinding is punished. This is on top of the weekly hard caps.
This game is fantastic until you realize its on rails dictated by the developers. Then it becomes frustrating, as leveling requires that you log in and play the game like a daily chore. It's no longer a game you play at your pace, but by weekly and daily activity caps. I played Destiny 2 and enjoyed it until I realized it did exactly this. One has to basically play or FOMO. This game is full of FOMO. Miss an event? Too bad, that cosmetic is permanently delisted. Missed a week during an event? You missed the event's final reward milestone, too bad.
When a game has to constantly bait you with another piece of candy to keep you engaged because it will not let you enjoy it if you outpace the activity cap. Then you see why a great game gets not recommended.
I noticed alot of people drop this game because of this. Most of the game basically is daily activity grinding and going into social hubs to see how many people are willing to throw their money into a black hole.
So if you can overlook its nature as a game, and deal with its frustrating handicaps as a F2P game. You will get your time's worth out of this game. But always understand, this game is literally a whale game. It's designed around whales and getting people to convince themselves its worth it, when its not.
