Snowballs and Ice Age require snowy locations, so [b]Mannerheim Line, Erlenberg, and Glacier[/b] are in play. Plus, both submodes can take place on special winter versions of [b]Karelia, Prokhorovka, and Malinovka[/b].
Snowballs
Inspired by real-life snowball fights, this submode is fast, fun, and unpredictable. Shells become snowballs with curved trajectories, reload times are shorter, and [b]engine power is boosted[/b] for all vehicles. Plus, [b]HE shells deal extra splash damage[/b], adding to the chaos!
Ice Age
In Ice Age, the extra-slippery ground turns battles into epic slo-mo shootouts. Enjoy smooth drifting as rounds fly faster and [b]dispersion during movement and traverse is reduced[/b]. Add boosted engine power and top speeds, and you're in for a wild ride!
Rules
Except for different modifiers, Snowballs and Ice Age have the same set of basic rules: [expand type=details expanded=false]- Battles are [b]single-tier, fought in either Tier VIII or Tier X vehicles[/b]. Any vehicles of these tiers can be used in the mode.
- You earn XP and credits in battles, and you [b]can use all types of Personal and clan Reserves[/b].
- [b]XP multipliers for the first victory of the day work[/b] in the submodes.
- Snowballs and Ice Age battles [b]do not contribute to daily missions or personal missions[/b], but they count toward the mode Progression.
- Snowballs and Ice Age battles [b]do not bring you Battle Pass Points[/b]. Gold and credits are not put into the Gold Reserve and the Credit Reserve.
- Snowballs and Ice Age battles [b]do not yield bonds[/b], except for the event Progression rewards (see below).
- You [b]may play in Platoons[/b] (and are eligible for the bonuses if you do).
