We would like to take this opportunity to share our honest thoughts on the recent updates, as well as our future direction and plans.
[Improvements to Fatigue From Events and Missions]
We have noticed that the recent simultaneous launch of various events and missions, with their complex and difficult achievement conditions, has caused fatigue among our Survivors. Thus, we plan to make adjustments to events and missions in general.Events and missions were originally designed with a focus on natural flow in eligible modes, rewards, and play experience. Zombie Hero Classic was structured around the Counter Exchange, while Zombie and Zombie Scenario were centered on the Epic Shop and Fragment Event. However, this separation forced players into play experiences they did not prefer, leading to fatigue with mission completion.
Thus, adjustments were made in the August 6th update to expand the CP acquisition modes in the Counter Exchange, simplify conditions, and reduce the overall fatigue from event and mission completion.
Going forward, when planning events, we will prioritize your actual play experience and feedback, carefully reviewing the appropriateness of mission conditions and structures to ensure that they do not compromise your usual play experience while providing enough fun and motivation to complete missions. We will establish flexible and intuitive event strategies to achieve this.
[Zombie Hero Classic Mode Update Plan]
We have received various feedback about Zombie Hero Classic Mode and are deeply aware of your disappointment about the recent update pace.To respond to your support and expectations, we have adjusted the overall update roadmap and schedule to enable faster updates. Starting with the introduction of the Change Shot ON/OFF setting in the 8/20 (Wed) update, we are preparing for multiple updates beginning on 9/3 (Wed).
First, the Z-VIRUS update will be implemented through the 9/3 (Wed) patch.
Along with the return of various weapons that many players have been waiting for, such as Ripper, BALROG, Dragon Sword, and Thunderbolt, Venom Sting and Venom Guard will also be introduced. At the same time, we will be making overall balance adjustments through system reforms, including the addition of a Morale Boost group bonus, the setting to choose the duration of the permanent death grace period, and zombie restriction features.
In October, we are preparing for the return of various weapons, including Gaebolg, and in subsequent weapon updates, we will maintain overall balance by considering various factors to ensure that the core fun and balance of Zombie Hero Classic Mode are not compromised.
In addition to weapons, we are preparing new zombies, and when they are introduced, the overall faction balance will also be adjusted accordingly.
We humbly accept the valuable feedback and constructive criticism you all have provided, and we will continue to strive to make Zombie Hero Classic Mode a mode that can be enjoyed for a long time through ongoing updates and maintenance.
