In Dungeon Siege III: Teasures of the Sun setzen die Spieler ihre Reise fort und reisen über die Grenzen von Ehb hinaus zu einer vollkommen neuen Gegend: der Aranoi-Wüste. Auf ihrer Suche nach einem verschollenen Helden der Legion, kämpfen sich die Spieler durch Horden neuer Bösewichte, nur um ein vergessenes Kloster vorzufinden, das ein längst verlorenes Geheimnis verbirgt: den größten Schatz des Azunitenglaubens.

Hauptmerkmale:

Neue Fähigkeiten: Spieler können ihre arkanen Künste durch neue und mächtige Angriffs-, Verteidigungs- und Heilfähigkeiten weiter ausbauen.
Stufenaufstieg bis Stufe 35: Treasures of the Sun hebt die maximale Charakter-Stufe aus Dungeon Siege III von Stufe 30 auf Stufe 35 an.
Mehr Monster und Gegenstände: Spieler treffen auf neue Monster in der Aranoi-Wüste - darunter Mumien und riesige Skelette - und stoßen auf noch mächtigere Gegenstände, zusätzlich zu den tausenden von Gegenständen, die bereits in Dungeon Siege III gefunden werden können.
Umverteilung von Talent- und Fertigkeitspunkten: Spieler können Punkte, die für Talente und Fertigkeiten ausgegeben wurden, neu verteilen und ihren Charakter so über das gesamte Abenteuer hinweg anpassen.
Neues Verzauberungssystem: Das Umwandeln von Gegenständen gibt dem Spieler nun die Chance, mächtige Phiolen zu erhalten, die es ihm erlauben, Waffen und Rüstungen mit dem neuen Verzauberungssystem des DLC zu verbessern.

Schwer zu spielen, man stirbt viel zu schnell. Kein Hinweiß im Spiel wie man weiterkommt. Die Sicht ist viel zu eingeschränkt, man läuft nur Wege ab. Inventar und Ausrüstung sind unübersichtlich. Man kann alles beim Händler erwerben, aber nicht alles tragen. Das Geld ist dann gegebenen falls weg. DS 1 und DS 2 sind dagegen gut gemacht.

I Liked DS1 some years Ago. A few Days before i loked for some Games in the Store and found this. I read the Infos and seen that the complete Pack is realy Cheap. So i bought that.

But my Problem now: I Installed the Game, started it and after 5 Minutes my PC freezes. Black Screen no reaction. The only Way to restart complete the PC with Power off Button. Second try. Started the Game walked the Way down over a Brige killed one Boss then go through the Door and Freeze again. The only Way to become PC to work, yes Power Button.

What to hell you sell here. This game is unplayable if its freeze all 5 Minutes? No patches awailable for this. Doesn't found any.

Never had a problem with Dungeon Siege III.

I know it's drastically different from the first two installments but I like the more couch co-op approach kind of like what Diablo III did. This is a pretty solid Expansion and adds several more hours to the already highly addictive base game. One day I hope they make a fourth game.

good amount of action and special effects,

good game.

I finished this DLC some years ago, Dungeon Siege 3 is a great game, it may not be better than Dungeon Siege 2 and Broken World but let me say something I truly feel, this game is totally better than Dungeon Siege 1 and Legends of Aranna. I take DS3 over DS1 anytime anywhere and all this stupid bashing and negative reviews towards DS3 need to stop

Played through this DLC with a friend on the hardest difficulty. We started it immediately after it became avaialble. Most of the boss fights are VERY brutal and unforgiving. AKA, you have been killed in a single hit after being teleported onto twice in a couple of seconds. If not for the ultimate sheild ability that essentialy gives the hosting player a few seconds of invincibility most boss fights would not be feasible considering how unforgiving most are.

That being said, I thought the story was okay. It was nice to see our characters from the front instead of just the back this time around. A shame this didn't extend to the main game. Lots of lots of nice gear to be had here. We didn't really use the enchant system.

I'd reccomend getting this DLC to get some additional playability and powers out of the game. If you are playing on the highest difficulty like me, I strong reccomend it to make your experience more enjoyable.

Fun game but not nearly the same as 1 or 2 !

+Nice story

+ntresting characters

+Nice landscape

+Seems to have good amount of weapons

Cons

- Nothing like Ds 1 or 2

-Abit clumsy atfirst but you will get the hang of it

-Pretty easy if you compare to DS 1 or 2

-Same style as ds1(dont know if its acctually bad)

-No character customization nor anyway to name or create own character.

But as conclusion a really nice game ! not really a hack and slash but a good game 4/5

I guess this expansion was responsible for half of the shit that I'd been abusing in the base game without even knowing (enchanting rules). It's not too terribly long, I polished it off in two sittings, it's probably about the length of a longer hub from vanilla DSIII? Still pretty cool and if you're a min-maxer, the final decision can give you an OBSCENE boost of a Deed. So yeah. Go for it, I just wish we might have, say, gotten more of these campaigns.

DS3: Treasures of the Sun DLC offers up basically more DS3 - new areas, new enemies, and new quests. If you liked DS3, you will probably like this - it's more of the same, for the most part. The level cap has been raised to 35. Taking me almost around 9 hours to finish the DLC - in terms of length, this is 1 of the better DLC's around. A solid DLC, though it's nothing radically amazing or jaw-dropping for a DLC.

This is a mini-expansion and it's pretty much mandatory in order to enjoy the game to its full extent as it adds some features in the base game (enchanting,a new drop type:essences, respec and ultimate abilities). It also adds a new area (desert) and 5-6 quests with many boss battles and some more loot (many uniques among them). If you enjoyed the base game or if you want to experience the game in its entierity then this is a must.
