Als Farmmanger bist du im Farm Manager 2021 für die erfolgreiche Ernte, die Mitarbeiterzufriedenheit, die Gesundheit der Tiere, die Effizienz der Ausrüstung und der richtigen Verarbeitung der Feldfrüchte verantwortlich. Du kannst neue Grundstücke kaufen und für die Erweiterung deiner Farm Materialien aus verlassenen Gebäuden verwenden. Im Farm Manager 2021 gibt es noch mehr Pflanzen, die du anbauen kannst. Jetzt sogar auch Bio-Sorten! Baue Sellerie, Karotten, Johannisbeeren, Stachelbeeren, Zwiebeln und mehr an. Behalte das Wachstum der Pflanzen im Blick. Dank der neuen Spielmechaniken kannst du deine Felder mit den verfügbaren Arbeitern und Maschinen automatisch verwalten.

Für die Arbeit auf dem Feld stehen dir eine ganze Reihe von Maschinen zur Auswahl. Kaufe und verkaufe sie auf dem Markt. Halte Ausschau nach Schnäppchen unter den gebrauchten Maschinen.

Im Farm Manager 2021 warten Bienen, Schafe, Ziegen, Kaninchen, Hühner, Truthähne, Enten, Gänse und Kühe auf dich. Zum ersten Mal hast du außerdem die Möglichkeit, eine Fischzucht zu betreiben sowie Strauße, Wildschweine und Wachteln zu züchten.

Logistikzentrum, Werkstatt des Mechanikers, Tierklinik und mehr! Das Logistikzentrum ermöglicht dir den einfacheren und schnelleren Transport noch größerer Mengen von Ressourcen und Produkten. In der Werkstatt des Mechanikers kümmert man sich fachmännisch um deine landwirtschaftlichen Maschinen. Die Mitarbeiter der Tierklinik sorgen dafür, dass deine Farmtiere bei guter Gesundheit sind.

Bereite Felder im Frühling vor, kümmere die um die Pflanzen im Sommer, fahre die Ernte im Herbst ein und züchte im Winter Pflanzen im Gewächshaus. Das Wetter kann auf deiner Farm großen Schaden anrichten. Starkregen und Hagel können deine Pflanzen schädigen, ein Gewittersturm kann ein Feuer auf deiner Farm auslösen.

Nur ein zufriedener Arbeiter ist ein guter Arbeiter! Heuere festangestellte und Saisonarbeiter an. Kümmere dich um die Mitarbeiterzufriedenheit, die Lohnbuchhaltung und Überstunden. Erhöhe mithilfe von Schulungen ihre Qualifikationen. Denk daran, dass jeder auch einmal eine Pause verdient hat. Verärgerte Arbeiter können jederzeit wieder gehen, daher lohnt es sich, sie gut zu behandeln.

Noch längst nicht ordentlich ausgereift. Reparaturen an Maschinen muss man Teuer bezahlen, obwohl man einen eigenen Mechaniker hat. Nirgendwo findet man Informationen über zusammen hängende Produktionsketten. Rohmaterialien bringen mehr als weiterführende Produkte. Weinberge sind nichts anderes als Felder. Lieblos gestaltetes Farmleben. Animationen der Feldbearbeitung finden zum Teil neben den Feld statt. Unnötige Schieberegler, die keine korrekte Ausführung erlauben, zB wenn man das 10x über den anvisierten Tag gerutscht ist. (Nervig) Nirgends eine Möglichkeit zu sehen wann man für was Saisonarbeiter brauch. Also kannste die gleich für das ganze Jahr einstellen, denn wenn die Pflanzen eigentlich nach 150 Tagen geerntet werden könnten, steht auf einmal 220 Tage da, weil der Winter da zwischen lag. Gibt viele solcher Ungereimtheiten. Der Anfang ist teilweise Öde, da die schnellste Geschwindigkeit immer noch zu langsam ist. Den Winter zu überspringen ist Blödsinn. Es erfolgt eine Kalkulation, aber Du hast danach keine Waren, Produkte noch wurden deine Ausgaben oder Einnahmen berechnet. Wenn das alles behoben wurde, gebe ich den Daumen hoch, da es kein neutralen Daumen gibt, geht er noch runter.

Ganz anders als der Vorgänger!
Zum Anfang denkt man sich, was soll das? So viel geht Automatisch.
Genau das ist aber auch das was der Nachfolger vielleicht sogar besser macht.
Nicht mehr 20 Felder immer und immer wieder durchklicken und immer und immer wieder das selbe machen.

Beim Vorgänger hab ich irgendwann die Lust verloren, weil man das immer wieder machen musste. Jetzt beim Farm Manager 2021 ist das nicht mehr der Fall und man kann dadurch immer größer bauen.

Farm Manager 2021 ist also Ausgelegt auf größer immer größer und das macht mir mehr Spaß als beim Vorgänger, wo man ab einer bestimmten Größe einfach die Lust verliert.

If it was that easy to get rich in the real world, everyone would be.
Just select a crop that brings in big bucks like raspberries and watch the millions roll in!

Wanna be a wheat farmer instead? You will probably stay poor for a long time and just watch things grow for hours...

Please balance the game, it isn´t even realistic as in the real world a raspberry farm does not make 10 times the money a wheat farm does because of something called economy of scale which is not represented in this game at all!

Hat mich nicht überzeugt. Sehr schnell absehbar, dass es immer das gleiche ist. Wenig Realismus, kein richtiges Wirtschaftssystem, nervige Fehler die ein halbes Jahr nach Erscheinen nicht mehr da sein sollten.

Alleine das Tutorial ist schon kaputt, ich soll Futter kaufen aber die Scheune brennt derweilen ab.
Weil ich nun den Kaufbildschirm nicht mehr verlassen kann ist das Spiel für mich beendet.

Ich empfehle jedem, der an einem solchen Spiel interessiert ist, lieber von Vorgänger von 2018.
Dieser Nachfolger hier, ist vielleicht etwas schöner anzusehen und hat mehr Tiere, um die man sich kümmern kann, aber dafür ist das Management-System völlig unausgeglichen. Man erstellt kurz ein Feld, weißt die Pflanze zu ( noch die Frage, Bio oder Nicht-Bio) und stellt auf seinen Parkplatz die nötigen Fahrzeuge. Dann noch Mitarbeiter einstellen und fertig, den Rest macht das Spiel automatisch. Auch bei der Tierpflege muss man nur die Tierart im Stall festlegen und kaufen, Mitarbeiter und Nahrung festlegen, ach und nicht vergessen, deine Produkte im Autohandel einzustellen, schon ist die Farm fertig und läuft.
Im Vorgänger musste man noch den Auftrag zur Feldarbeit selbst erteilen, wodurch man drauf achten musste, ob es den Feldern gut geht oder nicht, dort hatte man noch wirklich das Gefühl der Chef zu sein und die Entscheidungen zu treffen.

Ja, hier mag die Grafik vielleicht hochauflösender sein und man kann vielleicht etwas näher ranzoomen, aber im Vorgänger hatten die Texturen einen ganz eigenen Charme, während sie hier eher wie fertige Modellbausätze aussehen und zwar von einer sehr preiswerten Qualität.
Auch die ganzen Patches, die gefühlt alle 2-3 Tage rauskommen, wirken für mich nicht sehr überzeugend, sondern eher so, als hätte die Entwicklung noch 2-3 Monate gebraucht, aber es musste nun schnell auf den Markt.

Keine Ahnung was passiert ist ,ob der Ersteller des Spieles sich kaufen hat lassen von einen Puplisher und dadurch an gewisse 0815 Programierungen gebunden wurde oder er einfach die Lust daran verlor sich mühe zu geben ?!.

Der erste Teil war um Welten besser und genauer. Man musst Leute noch zuweisen auf ihre Qalifikationen achten und das Mikromanagment war besser gelöst.

JEtzt ist es einfach nur mehr ein Haufen .... Mist ,denn man einfach in den Raum wirft und es wird erledigt.
Sorry aber einfach nur mehr Tiere reinpatchen die Grafik und Animationen erhöhen ist es dann halt auch nicht.

Werde hier einen Refund beantragen

feine sache, paprika angebaut keine ernte. wurde einfach weg gepflügt, keine bezahlumg.

äpfel überwintern nun das dritte mal, keine ernte nix. da hockt man stundenlang vor der kiste ! schade um die zeit.

vieleicht solltet ihr eure hausaufgaben machen, schließlich wurde es bezahlt.

Farm Manager 1.0.355 Patch finde ich nicht.Da soll angeblich Geld einstellungen und andere Fetures sein.Habe ich leider nicht festgestellt.Dir Einstellungen im Freien Spiel sind immer noch die selben.

Ich hatte viel Spaß mit dem Vorgänger. Habe mich auf den neuen Teil gefreut, aber wo ist der charme geblieben? Hier geht es gleich mit den großen Maschienen los wo bleiben die kleinen Beete vom Anfang? Wieso brauche ich so unfassbar viele Betriebe die nur am rande mit der Landwirtschaft zu tuen haben? Was hat eine Tierklinik auf dem Bauernhof zu suchen oder gar ein Logistikunternehmen? Das Positive sind einzig die Navigationen und übersichtlicheren Menüs, der Rest ist für mich beim FM2018 besser.

Für mich leider uninteressanter als der Vorgänger.
Man kann beim Freienspiel nichts einstellen wie z.B. Startkapital etc. anscheinend gibt es auch keine Forschung mehr alle Gebäude sind im freiem Spiel gleich verfügbar.
Sorry werde es wieder zurückgeben.
Schade war eigentlich als Lückenfüller gedacht.

So ein kleines update:
Kurz nach Relase wurde der Freiesspiel Modus umgestaltet und rein gepatcht. Somit ist es nun drin. Wie es sich spielt kann ich nicht bewerten da ich das Spiel gestrichen habe von meiner Liste.

Allerdings bleibe ich beim Daumen runter weil ich leider kein neutral Bewertung angeben kann.
Warum ich den Damen nicht hoch mache ist ganzerlich gesagt den verhalten der Entwickler geschuldet und deren Umgang mit der Community.

Being a big fan of farming games and having played this game over 64 hours, I am going to recommend this game based on its future potential, rather than its current development level, As far as its current state game is a OK game. It get repetitious pretty fast on the crop farming side. It becomes a confusing and what is going on here once you start going into production, 'cuz the game lacks any kind of data, information and instructions for the factories: how many meat related ranches do you need for the meat factories to function in optimal levels? Chicken and other ranches, you just cant figure out the balance so you end up under building or over building. This goes for all the factories. So the first thing this game needs is a wiki like in game reference guide for the player to understand what and which is needed to produce all the good that can be produced.

Agricultural tourism is way underdeveloped. The attractions you can build are limited to three. The farm shop only has few items available to sell out of almost 50 plus items you can produce, You are allowed to make wonderful wines with flavors and cellar age them, but you cannot sell the wines in your farm shop?! There should be wine and cheese tasting room or a bistro as part of the tourism concept so you can sell all these wonderful items you are producing.

It is a fun game for the first few run through's, but after that, just when things should really get cranking and immerse you in wonderful world of production, game goes goo hit the fan mode really fast due to lack of information, available options for what to do with items produced and specializing in a path such as becoming a winery since only thing you can do with all that wines is just to sell them in the market.

So I hope developers read this review and further develop the game to accommodate all the wonderful options this game can have once you are up and running with your farm and ready to venture of to production with meaningful paths.

I give it a yes vote but there are many things I would like to see. First is the ability to set par lvls in your storage for example being able to set your warehouses to maintain a supply of fertilizers etc. on a monthly basis and also to sell excess product. Warehouses should also have more than 1 size like silos have. AI workers should drop their harvest at the trailer before going the rest and always use the resources closest to a particular field or farm first instead of taking the tractor from the farthest garage and filling at the farthest warehouse. Garages need to be scalable as well. Unlockable upgrades for warehouses and garages through the education system would be good. Overall not bad just needs some polish in my opinion.

Fun and relaxing game! I play it during work. I reach over and sell stuff and when I have enough money, then I expand when I can then get back to work. The tourist aspect can use some work. You get a petting zoo and fishing and that's it. No tours, no horse trails, no camping. I hope they expand on it. My only real complaint about the game is the lack of a soundtrack. 4 songs over and over gets annoying. Overall I am enjoying the game and recommend it.

Well again it could have been something good. But alas the devs just did a major graphics update with no real substance. The very basic functioning of the game is nothing more then a routine copy and paste code set of instructions that your farm allows for different items. Very little to no customizablility of most actions. Oh and don't expect many updates if any that might improve the game. Once you buy it..... they don't care.

Great game with a lot to do...but i would love it even more if it scaled a bit more. for example the animal products yield so much earning with minimum number of animals. 4 medium cowshed, 2 medium sheep sheds and a 4 medium chicken coops yield around 3.5million dollars in game. that shouldnt be the case with what is practically 32 cows, 80 chickens and 40 sheeps. At least the animals in the cowsheds etc should be more in numbers to balance that with more workers needed to yield that. for example, you should be able to have 12 cows in the smal shed, 24 in the medium, and 50 in the large, that way you will have 2 workers for small, 4 for medium and 6 for large, it scales better to real life while the yields of these sheds in productions should match what they yield now. This way the cowsheds and sheep sheds are not the nuke button per say, if you are having economic difficulty. with 8 medium cowsheds right now you can power through it and develop everything else. evident in the winemaking scenario, i demolished factories etc, went for the before mentioned setup and within 2 hours i had a million in cash, all infastructure and machinery needed with 10 large size fields with minimum workforce.

Just under 200 hrs and game is completed. Kinda sad... need more Scenario's. Fun game, a bit repetitive, but is fun. Some glitches, example... placing fences along side of the road, you won't be able build up against them, you will have to delete them first, then place what you want at that location, then you can place the fences at the same location where they were before. Hope the game developer comes out with more updates.

Altogether a nice, casual game. I only play Free Mode instead of any story or campaign, and it gives me just what I was hoping it would - something to occupy the mind in a casual way that doesn't have constant threats, that has a little strategy, but doesn't beat you up for not making just the right decision. Enjoyable, and I recommend if it is on sale.

Workers hanging around and getting paid for not working. Too realistic of real life sim for a game if ya ask me...

Seriously though, I wish I would have known to do a search on the discussion forums about workers not working before I made this purchase. I have 4 game hours but I have just as many searching YouTube and the forums for how to fix the workers not working bug.

Games should be played playing not researching why the main features are not working and because of that I can't possibly recommend this game in its current state. And yes, I have plenty of workers, all but 2 on strike, all within the range of the field and all set on manual labor so it's not a player problem, it's a game problem. Sad because this game looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Sharp learning curve, fun , This game has help the retirement hours fly by. I like to start out with the free form mode. It allows you to start with more money, and choose which disasters to allow. After being teased by my farm family in-laws for being a city girl, I can say I have learned alot about real farming and the money needed to run a farm. Having animals is the most difficult for me.

This is leaps and bounds better than the last version. I enjoyed the last one but could never get all the way into it for some reason. Not sure if it's just how it started out or what, but this one seems much more polished.

The graphics are good.
The sound is fine.
The AI logic is USUALLY pretty decent (except when your workers plow a small field and then take the tractor all the way back to where you park it instead of plowing the next field).
It makes it fairly reasonable in terms of workload to earn some money with one type of product, then slowly upgrade to using that raw product to produce something more valuable.

Edit: I had a bug that would not allow me to see the production menu for the food processing plant. I asked about this on the discussion forums and within 24 hours the developer fixed it and there was a small patch.

That's pretty awesome.

Nice game. Still feels like its in beta. After a few years game time, the challenge disappears and the game becomes repetitive and redundant. Game lacks multiplayer which would cover some of the short-comings and repetitiveness in single-player. Eventually, you run out of land to buy. A feature that would help would be in-place upgrade of buildings, for example, small cowshed to medium or large cowshed. I still play the game from time to time but the later game play needs a lot of improvement. The game is good at the start in early game play, but once you solve the immediate challenge at hand, it looses its shine in later game play. I feel the price of the game was worth the admission, and I would buy it again hoping the developer continues to expand the game play. A better go-to-market model would improve the durability of the game play by presenting different market conditions over time. Also, a futures contract DLC expansion would help, buying contracts on the options market for future delivery of produce or products.

Let me just start by saying I love farming sims and management games in general.
This game could have been one of the best games of the genre on steam, but no, for me it's not even a good game.
Unfortunately, it just feels like early access BS, if it was in early access I would have gladly accepted the flaws but to call this a finished game, yikes.

1. Lack of content
One example, if you upgrade the main building you do not get any new buildings, only increases field size. Research feels lacking, you get % of efficiency to increase and other minor upgrades. There are only few vehicles and attachments. There are little to none graphics options...etc.

2. Bugs
Time and time again you either have to re-hire an employee or delete a building to remove some notification. Path finding just plainly sucks, no logic in that whatsoever. For no reason my tractor would go in circle before going to the destination, the longer way for some reason.

3. Mediocre animations and graphics
In this day and age to have something look like this with no options to increase the graphics quality...just lazy. I played a lot of indie games and I really do appreciate a good game play over looks, but come on, people move like robots and roads look really cheap like it was made in some free game world editor.

4. Lack of useful tool tips and tutorial
This is really annoying, countless times I would hover over important info. to get some sort of insight into what the hell is going on and what am I supposed to do and nothing happens.
I wish there was a help section / almanac in game to explain crops, animals, vehicles, harvest times etc. This would really help with the seasonal planning. Confusing graphs and statistic that look like they are supposed to help you but just make UI a mess, this is unacceptable in a management game where you are supposed to maximize your profits and micromanage your farm.

These are just some of the annoying aspects of the game.

I bought the first game and was disappointed, thought to myself this one looks really promising and the reviews are not so bad... oh boy how I was wrong.
Couldn't recommend, wouldn't play this even if it was free.
Asked for refund.

At release, there are a number of bugs, particularly in the tutorial and campaign text not working properly or being useful guides to learning the economy of the game. There are a lot of UI shortfalls in this game. No tooltips, no way to sort lists, no way to quickly find various essentials. The campaign is an extremely long and forced tutorial that keeps encouraging you to diversify your production, then immediately punishes you for having done so. For some reason, your meat processing plant can only be set to one type of meat at a time, meaning to diversify, you need multiple plants or can micro-manage the one constantly to collect different animals - similarly, only one type of fruit per plant, one type of grain per mill...

Looks like this time the game has been tested very well before release, Game runs smooth, no crushes or bugs. WELDONE. Really enjoying it.

On the face of it the game itself appears extremely good and well developed. The graphics for the PC are excellent.

However I do have 2 major criticisms:

1) There does not appear to a be manual for the game, not even an electronic one inbuilt. Many games especially of the 'strategic' genre are complicated and really need a manual.

2) The 'Tutorial' is OK but one thing it lacks is the ability to save it. It is extremely frustrating to start the Tutorial but have to close it down part way through because something else crops up only to return to it and have to start the Tutorial from scratch again. Many games have the ability to save the Tutorial, especially lengthy Tutorials.

A solid management sim, not a farming simulator. Manage staff, buy equipment, build up your supply chain, maximise profit margins, train employees and balance the books.

An addictive and enjoyable sim with a good learning curve, a lot of replayability and decent customizable starting options for free mode mean you can basically set your own parameters and play however you like.

Sim Farm in 2021

Seriously, I always search game like Sim Farm for a long time. Many failed, but not this one, they got roads, plantation fields, animal ranch, market, parking space (similar to garage). Yep, you can say that this game is good enough to be like Sim Farm but with a better graphic.

In addition, they got new little system like staff management, production factory, electrical wiring, which is a nice addition. And I found no bugs so far, if you see the updates, you will notice the developer did a lot of patching.

The downside is that there is no city management or events. There is no animal fences system, and the tracktor need a bunch of equipment to operate a field which is a little bit overwhelming sometime, you need like 2-3 parking lots. But overall, I really like this one.

This is still very much an early access game. It is playable and they are very quick to fix bugs, but it is not even close to a finished game.

The game will frequently assign a tractor to fertilize or spray when you don't have the resources on hand which locks that tractor until the delivery is made several days later, while there are other jobs the tractor could have been doing. Same with your permanent workers. It also is very inconsistent when it picks which tractor to use for a job. For example, it will sometimes grab a Rega tractor to plow the orchard while the orchard tractor sits idle and the red peppers are reporting they don't have a Rega tractor to spray. Another issue is that the temporary workers while harvesting a field will carry whatever is in their hands back to the bunkhouse and sleep for a while before taking it to the chest trailer which is attached to a tractor with a permanent worker locked into it for a week or more as the field is harvested.

I had to uninstall Farm Manager 2018 when it developed a game breaking clock bug (the days left for fields became out of synch with the in-game calendar, resulting in orchards dying before they could be harvested) that went unacknowledged by the developer and not fixed. Now I have had to uninstall Farm Manager 2021 because it has developed a game breaking clock bug (the in-game calendar advances glacially slowly, not even advancing one day while the AI plays merrily away and the days left on fields drops by over a week). Again, despite posting in the bug thread on the Steam discussion, it has yet to be acknowledged by the developer. Two games, both with game breaking clock bugs. I know I must be in a tiny minority of people that have encountered this bug, but does my experience tell you anything about the developer?

I wanted to like the game. Don't get me wrong, one of the farms I made was very fun for a couple days.

This game has no depth. It has almost no new artwork and assets. Some things have been redesigned but it feels largely the same as its predecessor. It is literally just a more well thought out version of Farm Manager 2018.

That fact that they took three years to release a game that ended up being the same game that they already made is a bit disappointing.

Once you achieve a sustainable farm, making millions is easy. However, with no new tractors or types of activities, it doesn't feel like there's a reward for you to play another farm and start from scratch. Especially when the research needed to upgrade certain buildings takes well over a year in game to achieve.

Logging and heavy equipment for it would be cool. More mowers, tractors, and perhaps an option to use animals on fields would also be nice. Let's hope the modding community helps this game be great.
