Welcome to another development update, where we share what we’ve been cooking up for our beloved Gas Station Simulator. Last time, we gave you a sneak peek at dynamic fuel prices — and it looks like many of you are eagerly waiting to get your hands on that feature. Today, I’m thrilled to finally share some insights into a feature that has been requested since day one: Controller Support for Gas Station Simulator! So, grab your favourite drink, some snacks, and let’s roll! ????
Controller Support Update ????
I’m gonna say (or rather write) this loud and clear: after countless requests from the community, we’ve finally rolled up our sleeves and implemented full controller support. However, there are a few things you need to know.
Full Xbox Controller Support ✅
We’ve added full support for Xbox controllers. Whether you're using an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S controller, Gas Station Simulator now fully supports both.
Steam Input Support ????
We’ve also integrated Steam Input, which means if you're using a PlayStation controller, the game will automatically detect it and adjust the button bindings accordingly. No manual setup required — unless you want to customize your controls, of course!
What About Other Controllers? ⚠️
While Steam Input brings great flexibility, third-party or non-standard controllers may not be fully supported. You might encounter issues with responsiveness or button mapping. For the smoothest experience, we recommend sticking to Xbox controllers for now.
