Wunderbares Spiel, sehr anpassbar. Egal welchem Spielstil man folgt, es ist für jeden was dabei. Wände zerstören! Gaming Zimmer einrichten! Müll wegräumen! oder einfach Spaß mit der Engine haben! Der einzige Kritikpunkt der mir einfällt ist, dass man ALLE DLCs KAUFEN MUSS UM DIE ACHIEVEMENTS ZU BEKOMMEN >:(

die idee hinter dem spiel ist gut aber es lässt sich wirklich nicht flüssig spielen was sehr nervig ist der skillbaum hilft das problem zu bekämpfen aber trotzdem stört das sehr weshalb der spaß bei diesem game deises gutem studios aus bleibt

Lasst uns Häuser aufs Dach stellen! Oder lieber nicht, das wäre schwierig.
In House Flipper kann man Wände bemalen, Fliesen legen, Mauern einreißen, Bunker einrichten, Müll und Gras verbrennen... alles was eben beruhigt und wozu man im Alltag eben einfach nicht kommt, aber schon immer mal machen wollte (auf dem Mond wohnen inklusive). Auch kann man Häuser kaufen, renovieren, und teurer an reiche Menschen verkaufen und dabei selbst in einem Schuppen ohne funktionierende Toilette wohnen. Ein Traum, der wahr wird!
Abgesehen davon kann man seinem Innenarchitekten freien Lauf lassen und sich das Haus seiner Träume bauen, auch wenn es vielleicht ein Traum bleiben mag. Allerdings kann man sich darüber aufregen, wie schwer es doch im echten Leben eigentlich ist, 3 Wände auf einmal zu bauen oder ein gesamtes Haus in 10 Sekunden zu fliesen.
In diesem Sinne: Sperrt eure Stiefmutter nicht im Bunker ein.

Um House Flipper zu erklären muss ich kaum weit ausholen. Es ist vor allem zum Entspannen wirklich gut, für solche Tage an denen man nichts mehr in den Kopf bekommt und nur noch abschalten möchte. House Flipper ist etwas für die Kreativen, welche mit vorgegebenen und durchaus repetitiven Inhalt bestückt ist.

Zwar hatte ich mir vom Luxury DLC auch mehr erwartet - aber das ist kein Spiel bei dem man viel erwarten kann. Es ist grundlegend sogar recht kinderfreundlich. Ich empfehle es aber eher weniger, da man dennoch einige Grundvoraussetzungen mitbringen muss um dieses Spiel spielen zu können. Die anderen DLC's wie HGTV und Garden Flipper fallen bei mir ausgefallen auf. Sie sind cool, sie laden zum Entspannen ein. Manchmal kann man auch einfach seine Ideen umsetzen zu XY - aber es ist nun einmal ein sehr statisches und schlichtes Spiel. Trotz diesen Kleinigkeiten ein Daumen hoch und in guter Hoffnungen dass Geschichten zu Wohnungen / Häusern mehr erzählt werden im Pet-DLC.

Man kann sich kreativ entfalten und stundenlang abschalten und es entwickelt sich immer weiter
und hat immer wieder neue Überraschungen auf Lager.

House Flipper ist für mich definitiv ein Spiel mit Suchtpotential! Ich habe mich direkt in den ersten Stunden in dem Spiel verloren und war Feuer und Flamme!

An die Steuerung gewöhnt man sich schnell, so zumindest mein empfinden und das Spiel fordert sehr meinen Ehrgeiz.

Fazit: Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Ganz netter Zeitvertreib wenn man ein Mal wirklich nicht weiß was man spielen soll.

Läuft bei mir recht gut auf dem kleinen Kassen PC, und wenn dann Mal keine Kunden im Laden sind, bekommt man mit dem Renovieren und anderen netten Kundenaufträgen die Zeit gut rum.

Wer jetzt mal kein Spiel sucht bei dem man gleich 1000 mal Google beanspruchen muss, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wenn es Mal Aktionen gibt, ist das Spiel recht günstig zu erhalten und einige Stunden Spielspaß sind möglich. Jedoch kein Spiel für lange ausgiebige Spielstunden.

Du suchst ab und an was für Zwischendurch, greife zu.

Also das spiel macht spaß, hoffe das noch mehr inhalte kommen, und das man eventuell auf dem Grundstück sich auch austoben kann, mit rasen mähen und alles drum und dran.

Ich finde es lohnt sich, besonders da es durch diverse kreative Entscheidung- und Gestaltungsweisen unendlichen Spielraum hat. Ich würde mir nur wünschen, dass mehr Add-Ons kommen, oder einfach Erweiterungen für mehr Möbel etc. und damit deutlich mehr Aufträge, die sich ab einem gewissen Punkt nicht wiederholen.

Also ich finde das Spiel sehr entspannend, vor allem zum runterkommen.
An sich eine große Anzahl an Missionen, die nicht eintönig sind und eine große Anzahl an Häusern und Möbeln, die viel Kreativität versprechen!
Ich persönlich achte auch auf die Grafik von Spielen und da hat House Flipper einen großen Pluspunkt für mich.
Ich kann das Spiel auf jeden Fall empfehlen für jeden, der gerne gechillte Spiele spielt und gern eigene Kreativität einbringt!

Well it is time to give my honest opinion: The Game make much fun at the beginn but it gets very fast boring even when you buy all DLC so far. What I miss is more task! When you have all task done from the main game/DLCs you repeat then over and over again and it gets so damn boring. Archivment hunt gets really hard when you have get all easy ones. I dont whould buy this again. Only when they whould add endless task. But how is now is, it is...meh. Dont get me wrong. It is fun for a bit time. But then...boring. Thats so sad...pls make more updates to the gameplay and dont make such weird task where you put too many object in one place it just looks unrealistic and bad.

Ist interessant, aber zu wenig komplex für längeren Spielspaß. Dafür, dass es Geld kostet, ist der Umfang zu gering. Die humorösen Beschreibungen in den Hausangeboten hingegen sind sensationell, spiegeln das Verhalten fer Makler amüsant wieder.

Wie wohl an meiner Spielzeit zu erkennen ist, Flipper ich schon sehr gerne.
Ich habe bereits mehrfach von vorne begonnen um verschiedene Stile zu probieren und es werden sicher noch einige Male ;).
Grafisch finde ich das Spiel recht gut gelungen, die Shop Navigation ist ein wenig umständlich und einige Dinge finde ich nur mit Hilfe der Suchleiste. Leider kommt es hin und wieder zu Abstürzen und somit schließt sich das Spiel, dies macht mir aber persönlich nicht all zu viel aus, bin wohl schon daran gewöhnt....
Ich freue mich auch weiterhin auf neue DLCs und hoffe auch auf weitere.

Alles in einen oder auch kurz und knapp :
Für alle die gerne mal Innenarchitekt und Gärtner bzw. Landschaftsgärtner spielen wollen, ist House Flipper genau das richtige. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Ich habe das spiel jetzt seit 93 stunden gezockt und bin sehr zufrieden. Es gibt hin wieder ein paar Bugs aber die gibt es bei jedem spiel. Wer Spaß hat am einrichten und Fan von Simulationen ist kommt bei diesem spiel auf seine kosten. Kaufempfehlung!

Selbst ist der Mann/Frau.

Ganz zu Anfang war das House Flippers sehr schwammig, ich weiß nicht ob es nur bei mir so war, aber es hat ständig gelackt und sich aufgehangen. Mittlerweile läuft das Spiel echt klasse, bestimmt auch für schwächere Computer.

Man fängt in einer kleinen Hütte an, neben einem Bett, WC und Werkzeug hat man einen Laptop. Auf diesem sucht man sich im Internet Aufträge heraus, wo man fremden Leuten beim renovieren hilft. Als erstes kann man nur Müll sammeln, später Wände streichen. Die Fähigkeiten wie z.B. Verputzen, Wände einreißen und so kommen etwas später, man muss anfangs noch bisschen eintönige Sachen machen bevor man zu was neuem kommt. Aber nach und nach erlernt man dann neue Fähigkeiten. Und je öfter man etwas gemacht hat, um so besser kann man diese Fähigkeit dann ausbauen. (Schneller etwas zusammen bauen oder 4 Wände auf einmal streichen)
Man arbeitet sich also nach und nach hoch, um immer mehr Geld zu verdienen, später kann man sich Häuser kaufen um sie eigenständig wie man will zu renovieren und auszustatten. Man hat ne große Auswahl an Möbeln und Deko zu Verfügung. Und dank des gerade eröffneten Steam Workshops, sind die Grenzen nun auch durchbrochen.

Die DLC´s sind auch ihr Geld wert meiner Meinung nach, durchs Garden DLC kommen nun Gärten mit ins Spiel, so das man diese bearbeiten kann. Bäume/Blumen pflanzen, Rasen mähen oder einen Spielplatz für Kinder aufbauen. Sogar bei einem Gartenwettbewerb kann man mit seinem Garten teilnehmen um Ingame-Geld zu gewinnen.

Mit dem HGTV DLC kommen neue Häuse und Objekte ins Spiel, die Küstenregion bietet daher auch neue Aufträge. Jedoch bisschen happig der Preis für dieses DLC. Aber ist von Region zu Region unterschiedlich. Am besten beim Sale ergattern.

Das Apocalypse DLC bringt nun Bunker ins Spiel, ebenfalls neue Ingame-Käufer für eure Häuser, die selbstverständlich das Bild eines Amerikaners wiederspiegeln, der sich unter seinem Haus verschanzen möchte mit jede Menge Erdnüssen, Waffen und Klopapier. Aber es ist immerhin kostenlos.

Auch kostenlos ist das Cyberpunk DLC, was eine richtige Gamerloft ins Spiel bringt und das feeling in Night City zu leben, was sogar noch besser aussieht, als das Spiel Cyberpunk 2077 selbst.

Im großen und ganzen, wer gerne bisschen Handwerken möchte oder sich einfach nur virtuell gerne ein Eigenheim selber einrichten möchte, dem Empfehle ich dieses Spiel mit dem ganzen zusätzlichen Inhalt.

Sehr zu empfehlen vor allem wenn man in Sims gern Häuser gebaut hat :)
Es fühlt sich relativ realistisch an und macht echt Spaß. Da macht man auch gern mal mehr als in der Aufgabe steht. ♥

Habe das Spiel schon länger und auch immer wieder sehr gerne gespielt. Ich habe selten ein so gut vom Entwickler/Vertreiber betreutes Spiel erlebt, wie dieses. Immer wieder Erweiterungen, Updates, Kostenloses. Man spürt, dass die Entwickler hinter ihrem Spiel stehen und es weiterentwickeln wollen. Klasse. Weiter so...

Bei diesem Spiel kann man seiner Kreativität freien lauf lassen.
- Aufträge für Kunden durchführen (Renovierung, Aufräumen, Streichen usw)
- Eigene Häuser kaufen, renovieren und wieder verkaufen mit Gewinn.
- Dlc´s kann ich nur empfehlen, habe alle gekauft bzw kostenlos erhalten

Als Handwerker absolut ein Pflicht kauf :)
Malerarbeiten innen und Außen , Bodenbeläge und Fliesenverlegungen ,Reinigungen , Umgestaltungen,Garten Arbeiten usw. usw. usw :)
Es macht mir sehr viel Spaß das Game in ruhe zu spielen um zu entspannen.
Ich komme aus der Branche und fühle mich richtig wohl in dem Simulator.
Finde es toll das man sehr viele Möglichkeiten hat ein Haus so zu gestalten wie es einem in den Sinn kommt.
Die Aufträge selbst sind sehr gut und schnell zu erledigen um an Kohle zu kommen.
Hab mir auch schon das Hacker Haus gekauft , sehr schön umgesetzt das Objekt.
Dekorationen zu Festlichkeiten sind auch vorhanden und das nicht zu knapp sehr schön.
Wenn man aufhören muss kann man direkt Speichern und raus aus dem Game auch sehr Nice.
So muss weiter Arbeiten, möchte die Villa auf dem Mond kaufen ;)

House Flipper ist ein schöner Handwerkersimulator. Als Anfänger arbeitet man sich hier mit dem eigenes Geschäft hoch. Aus einer kleinen Bruchbude heraus, werden Mitmenschen am Ende schöne, wohnliche Häuser hinterlassen.

Der Einstieg ist leicht verständlich, da die Funktionalität des Spiels unkompliziert ist und die Erklärungen Hand in Hand mit dem Fortschritt gehen. Die frühen Aufträge bestehen einfach darin, ein oder mehrere Zimmer zu entrümpeln und ordentlich durchzufegen. Die Kundenaufträge bestehen aber auch schon bald aus dem Wunsch, die Wände neu zu streichen, sie zu fliesen oder zu tapezieren.

Kundenwünsche beinhalten später auch, Räume teilweise oder komplett einzurichten. Eine neue Wohnküche, aus den Räumlichkeiten der toten Oma ein komplettes Badezimmer und einen Hobbyraum für den Ehemann machen. Für jeden Raum werden die einzelnen Aufgaben rechts im Bild angezeigt.

Jeder erfüllte Auftrag bringt Kohle. Diese kann ins eigene Büro gesteckt, oder neue Objekte/ganze Häuser können erworben werden. Die meisten erwerbbaren Häuser sind natürlich baufällig - und wir sollen renovieren. Jeder Schritt, der getan wird, wird von Interessenten kommentiert. Und interessierte Käufer haben unterschiedliche Bedürfnisse. Der eine braucht nicht viel Platz, aber auf jeden Fall ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett. Eine andere besteht auf größere Bequemlichkeiten, ein eigenes Büro oder sogar eine Sauna.

Also ich muss sagen ich bin eigentlich der Fifa, Rocket League und Warzone Spieler aber dieses Game hat mich gepackt :D. Macht wirklich mega Spaß, ist und Kreativ und ein guter Zeitvertreib wenn man mal beruhigt Spielen will ohne sich aufzuregen. Wie ich finde ein Grafisch besseres Sims mit den nicht nervigen Charakteren :). und für den Preis TOP !!

Für mich ist dieses Spiel der Favorit geworden, einfach aus dem Grund, weil man seiner Kreativität freien Lauf lassen kann. Zudem finde ich es sehr entspannend, alleine schon wegen der Musik. Ich selbst liebe es, Häuser zu renovieren, einzurichten und mich mit dem Garten, vorausgesetzt man hat das dazugehörige DLC. zu beschäftigen. Von mir gibt's eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Ich habe schon einige Stunden in diesem Spiel verbracht und es ist einfach so klasse das die Entwickler sich bemühen immer wieder neuen Content raus zu bringen :) ich freue mich ebenso definitiv auf kommende Erweiterungen. Das Spiel an sich läuft flüssig und ohne große Fehler.

Nach gut 25 Stunden hat es mich süchtig gemacht. Kann es immer kaum abwarten das nächste Haus in Amgriff zu nehmen. Auch das Garten Dlc ist grandios. Man muss genau 3 Aufgaben erledigen um den Rasenmäher freizuschalten.
Wenn ihr zweifelt, gebt dem Spiel unbedingt ne Chance.

35k for a house? So we’re not going for realism.

House Flipper is a simple concept, you buy a house, do some construction and then sell it for massive money, and that’s the core of the game. At the beginning of the game you do small jobs for various people, everything from repainting a room to removing a wall and replacing it. It’s a simple idea to start with, but then you earn enough money to buy a house and this game gets going.

House Flipper is admittedly shallow though, this isn’t a deep construction simulator, it’s just a fun game where there are multiple different jobs such as cleaning up messes, replacing bad appliances, and more. Almost nothing takes more than a couple of seconds to pull off. You can quickly add a new sink to the wall with a few button presses, but that’s also what works here. It’s the fun of renovation without the absolute horror of it.

Pick this up if you want a fun relaxed sim. This reminds me of Train Station Renovation, a game I enjoyed a lot, but I would say House Flipper is the better of the two. There are a few minor bugs and issues here, but overall, they shouldn’t get in the way. Though I will say that, how the devs advertise DLC for the game in the shop of the actual game is kind of gaudy, and there’s a lot of DLC here, like 40 bucks worth. Still, I had fun and made a good profit.

Can only recommend the game to a limited extent, as it becomes repetitive very quickly. The positive thing is that the workshop offers a lot of new decoration items. Unfortunately, these are also mandatory, since the game itself has quite few decorative items.

Overall, quite nice for in between, but nothing more. I recommend buying it on sale and then watching a movie or tv-show on the side.

House Flipper is exactly what it looks like. If you enjoy just the satisfaction of mindless games to zone out and vibe, this game is it. The perk tree is actually helpful, unlike a lot of other simulation games, the DLC's add a lot of extra entities to play around with and the overall feel of the game is very relaxing. If you don't like these kinds of games, you won't enjoy this. But if you do, this is 100% one of the best simulation games out there and completely worth picking up. Gameplay/mission loop is simple and quick, do a couple small jobs, earn some perk points and cash, and then go work on a full house. Rinse and repeat. This game is simple, and what it does well, it does very well. Again, I have to reiterate. This is a slow and simple game, but its meant to be that. Don't expect things from it and you'll enjoy it way more. Just vibe, relax and enjoy scrubbing dirt off the floor for a few hours.

Look, I really like this game. Its a mild experience, something to just mindlessly play and easy to pick up and put down. It has a lot of strengths, letting you express a sizable amount of freedom in what you make, it has a lot of options and props for you to choose from when building, and you really can do a lot with what you have.

It needs a lot of polish though. There have been several dlcs, and a new one on the way. But there are still a lot of bugs in the base game. Sometimes the game just... stops working for me, ill be playing it and then lose the ability to do everything until I close it down and reopen it, sometimes losing a lot of progress, sometimes only a little. There are a lot of attention to detail things that really bother me, like when plastering tiles the serrations in the grout are the wrong way than what you stroke. It seems lazy. When you're planting multiple plants in the garden dlc, after you have dug to the bottom of any of the holes, you automatically put the shovel away and have to take the shovel out if you want to keep digging. This, combined with other mildly infuriating things upsets me, content is nice, but it seems to be quantity over quality and its getting kind of frustrating, especially since there is more on the way.

I really think this game could benefit a lot from having the same level of care put into the appearance as someone playing it might put into their home.

House Flipper manages to scratch a specific itch, but it lacks long-term incentives and just generally feels like a missed opportunity. With more content, polish, interactivity, and customization, this could become a nice sleeper hit. It's serviceable as is, but it won't hold your attention for too long.

I would say yes wonderful game you get to design houses of your dreams. So much fun! It takes a lot of time to make a masterpiece but it is worth it! I have been playing this game for 1109 hours and I would recommend it.
BUT THERE IS A HUGE GLITCH THEY NEED TO FIX.......... THE OFFICE GLITCH. YOUR OFFICE JUST RESETS
But apart from that I would recommend it.
(Frozen District if you are reading this PLEASE FIX THAT GLITCH!)
But it is a wonderful game.

If you are anything like me, you enjoyed building in the Sims far more than playing in the Sims. You enjoyed creative mode in Minecraft because the best part of it isn't mining, it's crafting--designing, building, and creating.

House Flipper is like that, but even better. It takes all the beauty and potential of Sims building and makes it into a fully-fledged game, complete with support for community-added items, tasks to choose to complete or not, and a soft, relaxing game where you can do whatever you want, whenever you want.

You can challenge yourself to create the most beautiful or the wackiest of houses, or you can just sit back and enjoy the endless potential of flipping houses with the risk, physical demand, or monetary requirements of real life house flipping.

This game is definitely an all-time favorite of mine, and it very well could be for you, too!

I play this game because my wife does not let me do projects in our house. This game lets me be the Home Depot Dad I set out to be. Would recommend to any Dad out there.

Really addicting and therapeutic! Love cleaning up dirty houses, renovating them to look nice, and checking off all the tasks on the list. It's so satisfying. I bought the garden flipper and HGTV DLCs because I just want to play more! :)
I was really sad when I realised I had finished all the jobs from my inbox. When I first started playing the game, I didn't know they would run out! I wish there was more jobs, I enjoyed doing them a lot.
Also would love it if there was a multiplayer feature, it would be so fun to house flip with friends.

House Flipper is a fantastic, addictive game--there are many days when I feel a twinge of guilt cleaning a virtual home while neglecting the home I live in. I find it soothing to paint walls and pick up trash, place tiles and pull weeds, mow grass and chop down trees. There are no time limits and no NPCs to bother me while I play. Just me, a belt full of tools, and a house to flip. 10/10

Are you a Millennial that yearns to decorate the inside of a home you'll never be able to afford? Are you a closeted goth that knows they have to dress professionally to survive but just wants to paint an entire room black with a single doll on the floor? Do you listen to podcasts but have nothing to do with your hands while listening?

In all seriousness though, this game is relaxing and fulfills my need to decorate in wildly different aesthetics without bleeding my actual money dry. The money flows easily, very little grinding if at all, and new content comes out on a regular basis. I'm still waiting for the garden dlc to dip in price, but the game stands alone very well without it. Highly recommend!

I didn't realize when I bought the game that there were additional things I'd need to buy to do even the basics like trimming a lawn. It's pretty pointless to only own the base game, and when you add in the costs of the other packs you'll need, I'd have to say that while the game is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon, the total cost is absolutely not worth it. I don't like when a company makes people pay for things that really should just be content updates.

That kind of game is popular now - clear or/and build your house, clear station, chop wood, grow plants.. all those things are funny, indeed, but only at first time. After second, third launch I started to feel irritation, because with time passing you have nothing to do, have nothing new and thriving. When will Steam create an opportunity to give a neutral rating???

This game is fun, I REALLY enjoy designing my houses and all that Jazz. If you like having a free to customize almost however you like space this game is for you. The only thing that would make this game better is mod tools, so we could have custom houses and what not. Imagine if you could use this game to plan how you'll decorate your actual house, that'd be amazing!

I find this game to be a very relaxing and easy way to get creative. I love it when the shop is updated as the more options we have to renovate homes to suit our own tastes the better! The only issue I've found frustrating has been the walls we cant demolish as some of those I'd like to be able to move.

This game ruined my marriage. I'm sure I share some of the blame, but basically what happened is I've always hated cleaning, and it's always been a sore spot with my wife, but in this game cleaning is actually really fun and satisfying. My house in real life had been really dirty for the last couple weeks and when my wife came in and found me cleaning a house in a video game, she totally lost it and had divorce papers for me a few days later. Other than that, pretty good game.

First of all, if you want to be able to do ANYTHING with the garden, you need to buy the DLC. I believe you can pull out weeds by hand but that's it. That feels like a total ripoff right off the bat.

I bought both the main game and the gardening DLC on sale and I still feel like I got ripped off.
The options available in the game are very limited, and most of the options that are available are ugly. There are a few decent tiles and some decent wallpaper. There are very few light paint colors that are neutral and look good, the rest is either very bright or way too dark. There's no support for the Steam Workshop so this is all you get.

Most of your time is spent doing chores painstakingly slowly. Most of the upgrades you can buy with skill points are to make these chores go a little faster. But none of them make them actually fun. You're cleaning up piles of trash, mopping walls (I know) and going over the same spot over and over again or pixel hunting to find the last vaguely dirty spot that you need to clean to complete the contract. Again, skill point upgrades can help with this but on several occasions I found myself painstakingly cleaning every square inch of a wall that was supposed to still have dirt on it, just to hopefully hit it by chance. Then it's cleaning windows which is straightforward but equally boring.

You can change the floors and the walls, but the ceilings are white and you can't change them. Roofs are standard too, you can't change them. You can choose between a large or a small radiator, plus there's a vertical one to dry towels in the bathroom. You can change the layout of the house, but there are very few choices for doors (standard exterior door, 3 color choices. Standard interior door, 3 color choices. A few glass doors and a sauna door and I think that's it.) I haven't tried changing windows, I'm not even sure it's possible, but I've only seen one kind of window and it comes in either a small or large size. There is an already limited choice of window coverings, but a lot of the windows are built next to each other in such a way that you're unable to put up 2 separate curtains for them (They'd overlap so the game won't allow it) and the wider curtains won't cover both windows. So you're stuck with putting up blinds.

You can't build additions to the house. No ability to build walls outside the already existing footprint of the house.

To make it worse, at times you just won't be able to rotate an item in such a way that it actually lines up with the wall, making it impossible to place it in any way that is acceptable.

If you shell out the money for the gardening DLC (which should have been included in the base game AT LEAST to some extent) you'll have the same limited options. You can't change the actual landscape. You can't do any free style digging or raise the terrain. There are a few pre-molded ponds, but with no options for water plants, so it's just a tub of water with maybe a fountain or a wooden bridge across it (only with a small sized pond)
There are a few premade pools and the only variety in them is the pattern of the bricks surrounding them. There are some above ground pools too.

There is actually a decent variety in the trees and the plants you can buy, though it might not be immediately obvious because you need to go to the menu for that specific tree to see the different varieties on the left side. (If available at all)

My experience with playing this game for 24 hours is that I was doing a lot of boring chores, the end result never ended up looking like anything I would ever choose for myself, and there was no sense of accomplishment or reward for any of it. I could move my office to a larger house that I had fixed up, but you're unable to actually use anything in the house. So it's just a place where you can put the laptop that gives you the option to take contracts from people who will pay you to do their boring chores for them, or buy a new house, do all of the boring chores and sell it for a profit so you can do even more boring chores in the next house.

That's the extent of progression in this game as it is right now. It's not fun, it's not rewarding, it's frustratingly limited and buggy and needlessly boring. If you want to build virtual houses and have plenty of options to make them look exactly the way you want them to, buy the sims. Seriously.

Fun game I bought a bunch of cheap decrepit houses and did bare minimal repairs just to re-list them at double the price 10/10 would crash the house market again while living out my dreams as a slum lord.

The Sims game without the sims

It’s great if you have that architect urge and want to make something really cool.
Downside as of this time of writing you cannot do anything on the outside walls nor windows.

DLC’s yes you do need them. They bring the whole game together, so if you going to buy the game you want to have them.

I purchased the game and Dlc bundle for my wife and she really seemed to enjoy it. So I gave it a try on family view when she was not playing. Two hours later she was wanting to play again too, so I purchased the bundle for myself as well.

At the end of the day I had spent most of my Saturday off work playing the game. And I am up again first thing Sunday morning to play some more.

The jobs part of the game is very casual and you mostly only go through the motions of doing things in the jobs. You would think it would be boring and repetitive but somehow it is still very addicting.

Once you start buying your own houses it drags you in even deeper since there is a lot more freedom to do what you want.

I never played the game without all the DLC. But it seems to blend together making the game what it is. So I could not imagine playing without all of it. For that reason I would suggest buying the bundle from the start. Especially if you catch it on sale.

This is my review of this game after almost 120 hours played (currently at 118) and completed everything except some achivements.

As a start, I want to say that I have enjoyed this game, despite my negative review, although I would not pay fullprice for this game, I'd get it at a sale with the DLCs, I will explain why.

I am a fan of creative games, I've always loved building and decorating in games, and I can spend hours on end building my dream home in The Sims, so when I first saw this game before it's release, I was very excited!

Now it's been out for about a year and I've had plenty of time with this game, unfortunatley not all of it has been as enjoyable as I would've hoped for, and here is why

- The game feels unfinished and unpolished in some areas, something I would expect to be gone after it's full release. For example, you are stuck with what you get on the outside. Sure, you can repaint the house, but thats all there is on the outside. You can't extend the house (yet) in any way, you can only change the inside of the house.
Windows cant be painted, so if you're going for a specific look, it will more than likely not go your way.
You can't move windows or front doors, so you will have to keep that in mind when deciding your floorplan.
There are also alot of furniture and items that are in the game but cannot be bought through the in-game store, which I dont understand why.
Building a kitchen is the hardest part of it all, because most of the kitchen parts DO NOT FIT PERFECTLY IN A ROOM! There will more than often be a gap somewhere, and if you are like me and have OCD, it will trigger you...ALOT!
You also can't paint the ceiling, so you're stuck with white. Same goes for the roof, it is what it is, if it doesn't fit your style, tough luck.
I also find it kind of greedy that you need to buy the garden DLC to cut your lawn or remove trees, give us those tools for free and have the items and all that in the DLC instead.
We dont even have halfwalls yet!
The game also lacks content in my honest opinion, you will quite quickly know about every item in the game.
Also the lack of interaction with items makes the game feel kind of dead in a way. You can renovate your house to (almost) your liking, but after that there isn't much more you can do in there.

- Bugs, there are alot of them in the game, some new, some old and fortunatley, some gone. But they are there none the less.
With the brand new DLC it brought some more, for example, in one of the new houses you cant put down installations (pipes for sinks, bathtubs, showers etc) on the top floor, they will instead spawn in the same location, but one floor down.
Some installations will spawn in their pre-installed place (Like the washing machine, when you buy it and place it, it will spawn a bit away from the wall, so you can install it, when done it will be up againts the wall. But now it will go back to it's pre installed location and it will trigger your OCD) I've even had some items completely despawn, allthought it's very rare.
If you turn on the lights in one room and leave it, you wont be able to see that they are turned on from the other room (dont ask me why, could be for preformance, but if your computer struggle with the lights on, just turn them off)

- Jobs
So, you will have a couple of jobs to complete, those will give you some money and they're generally pretty fun to do. But there are limited jobs, and not that many, and once you've done them all, there aren't really much more you can do except renovating the 39 or so available houses, which after a while gets pretty boring aswell.
Some jobs are kind of...weird aswell. For example, there is this one job where you're going to fix a garden cinema for a client. In this job you'll find that doing so isn't that easy, because the space where you are going to put some items just aren't big enough. You'll often come across this with the jobs, the rooms wont really fit what you're left with so it will end up being cluttered and just look kinda weird.
Some jobs will even leave some parts unfinished, because its not a part of the job (like missing grass)
Seeing as it's quite alot of times between the DLCs, and they're generally kinda short, I think I speak for all of us when I say we want more content in between, so that we can have something to do other than renovating the same house for the 10th time.

- Houses
So, as you might've understood by now, this game is all about renovating houses, only problem is, there are so few of them.
If Im not mistaken, there are a total of 39 houses, where 10 are from the new DLC (and some from the free apocalypse DLC, and one or 2 from the garden DLC)
So you will quite quickly have gone through them all.
You will also notice that many of them are very similar to one another, and the majority of the houses are small or medium size.

Despite all these flaws, I have enjoyed playing this game, and I dont regret buying it. But if you are thinking of getting it, do wait until it's on sale and get the full game + DLCs, this game feels more like an early access rather than a full release

The game is creatively restrictive. Can't manually select a custom width of a cabinet, or if the cabinet has drawers or a door, or choose different knobs or handles, or change the height of the upper cabinets. No baseboards or crown moulding or wall moulding, lack of diverse furniture selection, lack of flooring and tiling selection, lack of door selections, can't change windows, lack of paint colours, can't create anything custom.

It's relaxing from just the atmosphere and the way you do things over and over is kinda boring sometimes but it sets your mind at rest sort of. Good for winding down and the music is quite nice. You have the ability to buy your own houses and fully furnish them, which is really cool and it's nice to see the great lighting, which makes your small home really cozy. I would recommend this but you should buy it on sale because it's kinda pricey for a game you probably won't be playing all the time. I'm not saying the full price isn't worth it because it depends on the player but if you're just looking to play this game because you want a more relaxing game as a break from the action then you should get it on sale since you will probably only come to this game once you're bored of your more action packed sort of games.

A game about flipping houses that makes you pay for DLC to mow the grass. I fully understand having to pay for the garden flipper DLC for trees and plants and garden things. But in what would would anyone ever flipping a house not cut the grass! Thats absurd and if this is how the game plans on progressing whats next? DLC for doors and other basic flipping things? What about charging me more to actually sell the house! Why stop at one basic thing, just finish ruining the game already so that you can learn your lesson and not charge for basic things that should be in the game.

I never would have imagined to love this game more than the price it's asking for. There's something good whenever I finished flipping a house. I feel accomplished and then I ask for more job requests to the next!

Oddly, this game also gives me an idea on how to envision the perfect future house I'm gonna make someday...

This game is going the way of the Sims... minimal content in the base game, maximum content in the DLC's that will end up costing the base game. I was having a good time and would have even given this game a thumbs up except one inexcusable feature... All houses have a completely overgrown yard, grass up to your knees, and you can't do anything with it until you pay 15$ for the gardening DLC.

I'm not saying I want to cut the grass, I'm not saying I want to add ANY basic landscaping to my house without paying 15$. I'm saying that there shouldn't be a big gross eyesore all over the beautiful exterior of my house and its removal put behind a pay-wall.

Just load all lots with zero landscaping and no grass on a flat green surface until someone buys the DLC. That option would be infinitely better, and the developer's wouldn't come off like they're EA.

Also, it takes far too long to unlock all the tools. I want to stop doing missions and just flip houses, but still can't do wall covers besides paint.

My mouth fell open when I came across this game because it's so up my street. As I suspected it's a very satisfying game to play, from cleaning up to plastering and painting walls and repairing plumbing. I actually enjoy the assignments a little bit more than the actual house flipping, because they're quicker and every time you buy a house to flip it you have to get going on an entirely new interior design (or at least, I do want to make it a bit different every time). It requires more effort to do them well. The assignments just tell you what to do, so that's what I like to do after a long day when I just want to switch off my brain.
I also think there is room for improvement here and I'm hoping for a sequel that builds on this great foundation. I would love it if the assignments didn't run out, and a greater variety of houses and items would also be great. But above all I would love the ability to actually build outside of the house. You can destroy and build interior walls, but you can't build any additions outside, you can't put in windows or get rid of them. You can't change anything to the basic structure, which is a real shame, because there are small, one bed one bath houses that could do with a bigger living room or an extra bedroom, and they're surrounded by a massive lawn that you can only add gardening stuff to. Why shouldn't you be able to expand the house by building extra rooms? This should definitely be in an update or a sequel, I feel it's a really basic need in this game.
I also got the gardening DLC, and I am glad I got it but I'm also not wildly fond of it. Building a nice garden is too much of a hassle to invest a lot of time in it, I feel, and it doesn't matter much to the eventual sale of the house. Part of why it's a hassle has to do with placing items, which is tricky to get right. Inside the house as well, if I want to place chairs around a table it's hard to get it all straight and in the middle.
All in all, very satisfying, room for improvement but I'm hoping this is just the first step in the right direction, because it's already a lot of fun and it could become even more fun with subsequent updates/sequels.

A very chill game with a basic but rewarding money/sell/work system. Lots of tool to make really nice houses or just get the job done. If you like viscera cleanup detail you'll probably enjoy this.

I may not be able to control my life, but at least I can curate and build a beautiful home for these imaginary people in this world. House Flipper allows you to micromanage the things in your homes that you have neglected in your own. Accent walls? Pops of color to draw the eye around the room? You will learn invaluable life experiences such as; every room needs a radiator regardless of its size, roaches natural enemy is the vacuum cleaner, despite spackling every hole the one family with all the kids will always find a wall you missed somehow, and the most important thing I learned from this game is you can never have enough rice or noodles bags.

In all honesty if you want to tune out from your own daily life responsibilities without the fussy busyness of having to control someone’s actual life, then this game is the one for you. With multiple holiday updates, hidden surprises, and a variety of different toilets to explore, House Flipper is a game I would recommend to all my friends. From avid gamers to novice interior decorators, House Flipper has something for everyone.

House Flipper opens up so many possibilities of how hard and how fun flipping houses is, from fixing leaky radiators to changing tiling in bathrooms or kitchens, it’s a fun experience to say the least. House Flipper has all the basic functions of an amazing house building simulator. Personally, I think the decorating feature in the game is the BEST because you can get really in-depth of how you want a house to look.

So far? best 6 hours of my life. I've never been granted so much satisfaction when cleaning frat houses, and old people's homes. In attempt to recreate this sensation, I trashed my parent's house - went to my local hardware shop and bought all the necessary gear. I soon discovered that the game is not as realistic as I had first thought. In a subtle attempt to reverse what I had done, I flooded the first floor of my house and now have about 246 empty bottles of fairy liquid (for those recycling nuts!!), however, my parents came home before I could finish up. Safe to say, I've been kicked out and disowned by my parents and I'm currently roaming the streets of Hull in attempt to find a stable living. Thanks a lot developers. You've successfully rid me of my lifestyle.

Its a really fun and addictive game with lots to offer! if you enjoy being creative and doing up houses for fun id highly recommend!
