01. Verarbeiten Sie den Schrott mithilfe schwerer Maschinen, und verkaufen Sie ihn dann.
02. Sie können mehrere Fahrzeugarten verwenden, um die Welt der Schrottlagerung und des Schrotttransports zu erkunden.
03. Transportieren Sie verlassene Autos mithilfe eines Anhängers, und pressen Sie sie dann zu kleinen Schrottwürfeln zusammen. So machen Sie schnell Kohle.
04. Finden Sie alte Möbel, Elektronik- und Autoteile und viele andere Gegenstände, denen Sie in Ihrer Werkstatt ein neues Leben schenken können.
05. Alle Funde und restaurierte Gegenstände können Sie dann an der Schrottbörse verkaufen.
06. Gehen Sie einfach zu Fuß auf Entdeckungsreise oder fahren Sie mit dem Auto. Sie können mehrere Fahrzeuge benutzen, um die Welt der Schrottlagerung und des Schrotttransports zu erkunden.
07. Finden Sie die Container mit zufällig generierter Beute und durchsuchen Sie sie.

Junkyard Simulator

Der Moment, wenn man auf seinen Kollegen nicht hört und es selber herausfinden möchte. Was hat man davon! Nur Schrott. Das schlimmste ist das es in dem Game um Schrott geht. Es sieht auch an sich gut aus und hat auch potenzial. Doch wenn man mit der Handkarre 1000 m durch die Map fliegt, ist das nicht Spaß fördernd (Ist nicht nur einmal passiert). Dann verstehe ich auch nicht, warum ein Schrottplatz mit 20 Schranken ausgestattet werden muss. Also empfehlen tue ich das Spiel keinen. Solange das Spiel noch so verbugt ist, kann es kein Spaß machen. Wenn es irgendwann aus dem Early Access kommt und die Fehler behoben haben. Spiele ich es gerne noch einmal. Doch so tue ich mich verdammt schwer, es weiterzuspielen.

das spiel ist immer noch nicht spielbar das nervt die Speicherung ist übel das mann alles verliert was man nicht verkauft hat vorm dem ausloggen und die ständige im Boden Versinkerei ist einfach nur blöde da man dann noch nicht mal speichern kann und ein riesen Vortschritt verliert

Ich habe das Spiel nun 2-3 Tage ein bisschen Gespielt und muss sagen 14 Euro ist kein schlechter preis.
Wiederum befindet sich das Spiel ja seit Oktober 21 in der Early Acess und da werd ich etwas genauer:
Das Spiel Crasht aus unerfindlichen gründen an unterschiedlichen stellen einfach das ist ein Dickes minus dafür das es seit 5 Monaten auf dem Markt ist! dazu musste ich teilweise Rätselraten wie ich welche Quest erfüllen kann da nichtmal dran gedacht wurde evtl dahinter zu schreiben welche Taste benötigt wird oder so. Dazu Bugt das Spiel immens! Ich konnte Teilweise die kleinen nebenquests nicht machen noch die Hauptquest weil zb. auf dem großen schrottplatz ich das auto auflade und das spiel es nicht realisiert. Das sind Fehler die können auftreten in einer Early Acess doch meine Damen und Herren nicht nach 5! Monaten!. Die Kransteuerung ist auch der Blanke Horror finde ich die ist Unübersichtlich und hat kein Schema, das betrifft auch die Pressen.

All in All bin ich geteilter Meinung klar es ist early Acess aber die Fehler die Auftreten sollten nach fast n Halben Jahr solangsam eigentlich raus sein! Die Grundidee und das Grundkonzept muss ich sagen Spricht mich sehr an aber aufgrund der vielen fehler und Bugs usw. muss ich sagen überlegt es euch gut ob ihrs Kauft. man kann Teilweise sagen es kommt einem Rüber als wollte der Publisher nur geld machen und hat keine Liebe investiert.

Ich hoffe ich kann meine meimung bald korrigieren wenn die entwickler mehr engagement zeigen und dies investieren

Eine große Welt voll Müll und Schrott. Nur kann man mit viel Müll nicht interagieren. Die Hälfte der Schrottkarren bleibt wo sie sind. Nach dem ewigen Tutorial ist das Spiel durch. Fast nix mehr zu tun. Auch Kohle ist kein Problem. Einer der Wagen zum Restaurieren steht an jeder Ecke. Kann man immer verkaufen und einen anderen für die Sammlung holen. Warum muss ich überhaupt den Wagen in der Sammlung verkaufen um die gleichen nochmal restaurieren zu dürfen? Unnötig

Leveln geht am Anfang schnell, nach dem Tutorial ist es ein ewiges Grinden.

Ist zwar noch Early Access, glaube aber nicht, dass sich da noch irgendwas grundlegend verbessert.
Nix mit Aufbau eines eigenen Schrottplatzes...

Don't understand what I have to do? Very confusing. The tutorial is also confusing.
No cutscenes that help me to figure out where i am with my progress.
I really can't recommend this game, unfortunately.

Tried to play twice so far. both times the game has made it so i got stuck just getting through the tutorial. Trash. looks good but is literally unplayable unless you feel like breaking everything and starting over anytime you make a mistake terrible game.

Before I start my review I just want to say I recommend this game because it is at it's core good in my opinion. I'm sure you can really enjoy it if you can get past the bugs and glitchs, and as I did refund it I do intend to buy it again and try it in the future.

Junkyard Simulator is a Early Access game with a ton of potential. Upon reading the reviews I saw that the devs had responded to every single one which astonished me. So I decided to give it a try, from the reviews I had read it was buggy and glitchy, but the devs just updated the engine to unreal 5 from 4 so I figured that might be normal. Now my FPS was low on medium settings but that's because I have a GTX 1050 TI with 4GB of ram and my PC has 8GB of ram, and I don't have the best CPU, so I'm just barely meeting the requirements to play on medium graphics, and even on medium graphics the game looked pretty good. I do wish the optimization was better.

Now I played 2 hours and decided to refund, not because of the poor performance but because of the bugs. in the first 5 minutes I had an item fall through the floor in the first part of the tutorial where you're meant to put 3 items into a trash can. I was very confused where it went, because I was trying out the throwing mechanic, after looking around for a good 2-4 minutes I figured it had fallen through the floor, and I was right because later on more things fell through the floor. and in quest 5 where you're renovating a car. one of the bumper pieces fell through the floor SOMEHOW, and I was SURE I had put the part back on the rack, but it disappeared through the floor. I rebooted the game and keep in mind I had it in my mind to refund as I don't want to own the game in it's current state, so I was trying to complete quest 5 before I went over 2 hours. I had just rebooted and was grabbing the last bumper part when it fell through the floor as I was picking it up.

That was it for me.

Now I really like the direction this game is going, as I like satisfying build'em up fix'em up simulators, but I can't stand the bugs. I like the graphics and I hope improvements towards optimization will be made for people with lowish range GPUs and CPUs like me. Most of all though I hope all the silly game breaking bugs where items disappear and things don't work.
The tutorial needs more polishing so that it's clear to understand. the mechanics and general game play is fun is good for, for a Early Access game. I will definitely re-purchase when the majority of bugs are fixed and performance improvements made.

One more notable thing is you can't tell where you are in the world by looking at the map. you may be on a road but on the map no road is exists. the only hint you have is how far away from a icon you are. if that could be fixed that would be great.

Even with all the mixed reviews, I really wanted to try this game out. I would personally call this game unplayable simply because the controls and user interface is THAT bad. I spent most of my time trying to understand what the game wanted me to do, without actually enjoying the game. Not worth the download, let alone the price.

I like this game. However crash to desktop is common and autosave is about every hour. If items are not stored in certain locations they get wiped on save. This means progress is reset quite often. Sought out help on discussion and official support only to be told to wait until out of Early Access when they will be in Unreal 5. So I will update this when and if that happens or my CTD issues are solved.

Tested on multiple machines with different hardware it is not isolated to a single machine.

Edit: I wanted to add I still play this even with the crash to desktops. I just manually save fairly often. I am looking forward to the future features and polish for junkyard sim.

5 hours in and still doing tutorial missions... the maps, roads, placement of buildings suck... its like a maze...and when your walkling speed has to be upgraded it just sucks... ALOT of potential but as of now, no... ill play some more after a few updates... maybe.

I had tried the demo a while back and I saw this game on sale. As it stands now, this is a very wonky and broken game. The Tutorial, Map and Quest systems are at best cryptic. I won't be refunding it because I believe it could be a gem, but still needs a LOT of work....

This game is a 50/50 for me right now, I can see where it can be a really cool game. But I also can see a lot of things being really frustrating. Couldn't get the car crusher to work, the car wasn't perfectly lined up. I've gotten stuck so many times because the game isn't that intuitive yet. It may get there with time and updates

I was really looking forwards to this one, but... I have to say after trying my hardest to deal with all the bugs, glitches and performance issues I have completely lost interest.

I'm sorry but I'm that disappointed with this I really can't be arsed to take the time to give a detailed review. I would stay away for now, perhaps check it out when and if it comes out of early access.

plenty of potential but plenty of bugs to match.
this negative review is not to hate the game but to show that the devs need to make some improvements.

if you run too far and too fast with a cart or a vehicles then expect the janky physics to launch you into the moon or flip you over for no reason with a high probability of a crash. if you get stuck somewhere like a pit between dirt and a building then you have no choice but to quit the game and relaunch it to load a save file. The challenges pretty much guarantee you crash cause you need to run to certain places really fast which of course will cause jank and crash.

Overall Game play is great. You have lots of things to do as junkyarder!
Pros.
You can renovate items(like cars, furniture..etc)
You can crush items and sell the materials according to the stock exchange.
Explore and find scraps.
and many more.

Cons.
Basically there are no active auto save option available yet.
Also the game has some bugs that lagging when running.
Another thing I notice is that the open world only have junk yards, abandoned cars (some vehicles can't renovate), market for scraps and stock exchange, garages things like that. Hope to get more content to the map like more NPCs, vehicles things like that.

Overall I love the game and fully recommending to those who enthusiastic about simulation games.

Good game overall for casual players, quite a learning curve with the controls (even for the radio, which I recommend over in-game music) but once you have the hang of them there's lots to do and some good places to explore. I like that the long tutorial doesn't exclude you from doing things on the side once you've unlocked new areas, and I like that you can choose what to spend your time doing to generate cash and purchase upgrades and things. The game is quite heavy on graphics resources, currently similar to Cyberpunk 2077 for some reason, and there are a few bugs, but none that set me back in progress too far. For an early access game with several hours of entertainment for the casual player, worth the asking price in my opinion.

i bought this game and i kept getting dash boarded. I returned it do to that fact but would like to buy it again if i can get it to work. But for the 45 seconds i played it, it looked pretty good. any news how to fix that would be great!

This is one of those games where you can choose your level of immersion. You want a game where you can dig deep into a dynamic economy riding the wave of supply and demand while you pour over important business decisions? Junkyard Simulator. You want a game where you drive around and rummage through scrap piles, maybe do the occasional odd job but mostly just mess around? Junkyard Simulator. You wanna crush old cars into cubes? You wanna restore forgotten furniture and abandoned auto parts? Well guess what. Yep, Junkyard Simulator. And you can do it all in a game that is, no joke, breathtakingly beautiful. I am constantly amazed by how polished this game is for early access and I'm super excited to see how much better it's going to get before the full release.

That being said, I do have some things that I'm not so thrilled about:

You can only be a guy. I'd love to have the option to play the game as a woman. She can have the same tattoos, drink the same beers, drive the same truck, heck, you could still call her JJ.

Controller support. Please. I'm lazy and I want to play games on my couch.

Pleaseeeeee let me clean! Please make it possible to power wash the equipment, pick up the trash on the ground, sort things, trim weeds, maybe paint. I know it's a junkyard, but it can still be organized.

even after a massive update i received a low level fatal error. hitting a rabbit in game managed to flip a truck, some serious work is needed with this game otherwise its just another waste of time im afraid

Very cool idea, but it's like you would build a house with an amazing floor, and later fuck up the walls. What I mean by that is: You made a game that has a great idea, you find various items renovate them sell them et cetera. But a lot of the mechanics are just bad, for example, audio in the crushers, for example, when you drive a vehicle it'll just sometimes decide to start flying, and worst of all locations and items sometimes just decide not to load. I m fully aware that this is an early-access game, so please fix these issues. I'd give it a 6/10, very playable, needs stitches though.

EDIT: All stuff mentioned ^ was fixed in patch 1.1, so the game had a little unstable beginning, but after a bit of work it's great. I'm just looking out for new features!

pretty unoptimized performancewise (stutters even on low with a 2070 super and ryzen 5 3600)

sometimes stuff I held and put down disappears and gets shot away at lightspeed, not thrown

the game then froze while trying to look for a tutorial about selling stuff, lost 2 thirds of the overall progress I made, maybe add more autosaves

long load times, pop in making it hard to navigate

minimap and normal map barely usable

This looked really promising, however, the game play just didn't live up to the trailers. The renovation game play is stale and tedious, and sadly the scraping mechanics are interesting but quickly become repetitive.

HOWEVER!

I received an email stating that I have made a few refunds recently and you pretty much accused me of using the system to “try” games…

This is not the case.

I post this here to help the developers of junk yard simulator and to put steam straight with firm words like I received in the email.

This game is great . There are a lot of good reviews and graphically is very nice .. so well done team who made this ..

The problem I had was that it was crashing on 11th GEN processors .

I found a fix here ..

And it worked. However I my point is I shouldn’t have to do that for a game to run .. I may re purchace the game at a later date but for now I requested a refund.

I insist that STEAM re word the emails that are automated so they don’t imply that some one may be “abusing the refund system “ when a lot of steam games have these types of issues.

Sorry to have written this here but I felt you should know the fix but at the same time steam are very hard to email directly

This game has about the same quality of a game made at a university by first year game dev students . The quality of this game is shit. Game is already abandoned by the devs as they are focusing on their next buggy cash-grab. Don't waste you cash on this crap.
