The 1.08 Patch is here with some serious fixes and improvements:
The entire save/load system has been reprogrammed to fix many bugs. All previous save files are now invalid. We apologize for this, but it was necessary to fix those errors.
Fixed the player being frozen when a game was loaded or restarted during a cutscene or while in the pawn-o-matic.
Profile save files are not deleted until a new game is started for that profile.
Accelerated the save profile handling when navigating menus.
Optimized some entity string data to reduce save file size and allow faster save and load processing.
Destroyed object fragments now being saved. Optimized saved data for these potentially frequently occurring entities.
Clearer hub and map information on the save states.
Ejected bullet and other shell casings now saved.
Further optimized entity class memory footprint.
Various entity spawn process optimizations, some in preparation for the next milestone.
Fixed water level resetting when leaving and re-entering PV_B (Blanco Industries)
Fixed a bug where some effects wouldn't be rendered during cutscenes.
Fixed a bug where the player would not always be facing the correct direction after the SR1 cutscene.
Fixed the pawn-o-matic view.
Fixed the lighting of the pawn-o-matic background weapons.
Increased the number of profile slots from 3 to 5.
Fixed a bug where an exception was thrown after the Idiot map ended.
Fix a bug opening and closing the weapon wheel.
Fixed a bug that could cause invisible crates.
Added bind for 'Give Special Orders' to Gamepad menu (This was missing for the controller!) Notepad can be viewed by opening the Inventory. Keyboard input is unaffected.
Fixed a bug where under some circumstances the 'Quest Master' and some other achievements are unobtainable.
Fixed a bug where some secrets would fail to trigger that they had been found.
Various logic fixes.
Updated the Unity version to a version that has the fix for the recently announced security vulnerability.
