- Getting all minikits
- Getting True Jedi in every level
- Trying to unlock every character
- Playing the secret levels
- Getting all the red bricks
- Exporing the hub world
And even with all those things done there is still plenty to do. This game has a new type of level which feels more along the lines of a strategy game. It's basically this big battlefield and you need to build troops and vehicles in order to take over land from the enemies. This is not only playable against the CPU but it is also a multiplayer mode so you can play against friends.
The music is great, animations are nice and polished, very low requirements and its just more LEGO Star Wars. I dont think I need to say much more. If you liked the older LEGO games or other LEGO Star Wars games, you'll most likely like this one aswell.

I first got this game when I was probably 12 on PC with a disk and played the mess out of it on my old potato that could barely run it, and recently bought it on sale.
Fond memories, easy and quick missions, and a linear flow is something most games lack in this age, so it's good to have something to unwind to.

Pros
- This was the first LEGO game to have a huge, explorable lobby that is unlocked the farther you get in the game. Unlike previous LEGO Star Wars titles, the entire lobby isn't a mere 3 or 4 rooms.
- The game features unexpected humor throughout it's gameplay and cutscenes, some that I can still admittedly chuckle at today.
- Characters aren't purchased in a menu for the first time, you get to search throughout the lobby for new people making exploration constantly refreshing.
- The gameplay itself is futuristic. Animations are much smoother and and make combat extremely fun. On top of that, many characters have their own special moveset or style.
- Splitscreen provides a new dynamic feature where both players don't have to stay in the same spot the entire time; they can wonder off to different areas. This provided for a new feature that has characters split-up during a level to do different tasks at the same time.
- The game has well-polished areas with realistic lighting, shadows, and textures and sharper graphics making it possible to render over 200 characters on screen at once making large-scale battles possible.
- Because of the games new rendering ability, a new LEGO game feature was introduced: pvp combat. This is personally my favorite thing about this game because it provides much more replayability and something completely different than the other titles. This feature has each player build a base with vehicle spawners, barracks, forcefields, canons, etc. and then defend them at the same time.
- Space/vehicle levels in this game are actually playable and interesting.
- No levels seem drawn-out. Everything is done without the player losing interest or begging for it to be over.
- There's a lot more to do on free-play. Only up to 3/10 minikits are usually obtained each level, which gives the overall game more content.
Cons
- The game is pretty repetitive. Several levels are nearly identical and some tasks throughout those levels repeat themselves.
- The cutscenes. Yes, they are short and comical, but they often are too fast and don't explain much of what is happening unless prior knowledge from the Clone Wars show is acquired. A lot of unnecessary, yet funny, clips take up the majority of cutscenes and leave the game with much less story to it. I would still rather have this than a game that has 0 humor with the characters talking however.
- It sometimes zooms in on something after a task is completed. Don't get me wrong, this can be helpful in guiding what to do next, but there are way too many moments where it is completely unneeded and takes focus away from the game.
- The directions are sometimes lackluster. A lot of key components in the games mechanics are just there without any explanation or guide, making the user figure out how it works. This can be good in terms of the player being connected and creative with the game, but it can sometimes leave the player wandering around for several minutes with no idea of what's happening.
- Some context from the Clone Wars is needed to fully enjoy this. Just like if someone never saw Harry Potter or Pirates of the Caribbean, they wouldn't get a true experience of the game. People should only play this game if they have at least some background of what the game is about. Because that background is about the Clone Wars though, the audience is automatically much smaller than most LEGO games.
- Bugs. Even after 9 years of it being out, there are a few minor problems here and there. First off, force-placing in this game is pretty horrendous and hard to control. It can sometimes take up to a minute to simply move an object from one place to another. There are also the rare bugs like animations or abilities not working, or the game crashing, but again, these are rare.
Overall, this game is an absolute banger. I would highly recommend playing it. There was never a moment where I was bored during the game and I was constantly discovering new and unique things. Multiplayer is highly praised and gives both players a job to do instead of one trying to beat the other in pulling a lever. This game was put in a weird spot of being advanced in its gameplay and mechanics, yet behind in its dialogue and looks when compared to LEGO games today. The game is massively underrated and should be put up in consideration for one of the best LEGO video games to exist.

I've seen some reviews mentioning a bug where you cannot hover with R2 droids. They claim in their reviews that there is no known solution. This is not correct. The solution to this bug is actually very simple, although not what you would think - VSync needs to be enabled and then the droid hover works fine.

I know many people underestimate LEGO games (mainly because they're childish), but I've had great fun with it, and I'm glad to make my inner child happy.
Although, it does get boring because it's quite repetitive, and I got a little bit annoyed because there are no voice lines at all... It didn't succeed in being immersive and engaging.

Still looks great in 2020 and contains a ridiculous amount of content. So many wonderful features and mechanics that really could have been expanded into 3 other games.
WONDERFUL
Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars takes episodes and arcs from the first two seasons (Two levels very early on being the Geonosis Arena and the Battle of Geonosis from ep2) and puts it into one game. It's a solid enough product on the surface with 3 campaigns going against Ventress, Count Dooku and General Grievous as well as some extra, hidden missions. They feature some long levels that sometimes separate the playable characters into two different sections to do two different objectives which go to one goal.
Your main hub will be the Republic capital ship The Resolute. But if you get enough gold bricks to access the hangar bay, you can fly a ship over to the Invisible Hand which is a CIS capital ship. This lightly calls back to Lego Batman 1 where you can go from the heroes in the Batcave to the villains in Arkham except you don't get a full 3 campaigns for the villains. Once you access a specific part of the ship however, you do gain access to one of the two secret missions. The other is also on board the Invisible Hand but you need an early to acquire Cad Bane to get into the room to access that mission.
Another addition to the game is the Ground Assault Battles. You'll encounter a few of these in the campaigns but have a whole dedicated galactic conquest type of mode based around the GABs. To 100% the game you'll need to do this mode twice over, once as Republic and once as the CIS and conquer every planet. Now this will get annoying pretty quickly considering those missions are timed and are much easier when you have some good red brick powerups under your belt. The enemy really poses no threat to you in this mode as they really won't attack you 90% of the time or anything you build in your number of bases at all. Plus unlocking extra planets is a task in of itself.
Other than that there have been a few instances where the game would soft lock due to bugs. One such bug was on the 6th mission on the Grievous campaign where the second character's ship blows up and they fall forever, thereby not being able to complete the mission since you need to be in the ship to enter the hangar.
The game does introduce a few cool things when you collect the minikits and unlock the characters that you get from getting 10/10 of them. One of the levels rewards a playable version of Starkiller from the Force Unleashed series, including his classic way of holding his saber behind him.
Overall? The game's pretty good and has a great choice of playable episodes. 100% save file is a slightly annoying task but it's quite rewarding with the minikit characters all coming from the Original Trilogy.
