This year has been one of the biggest in Project Winter’s history. From major improvements and quality-of-life changes to new cosmetics, events, and systemic upgrades, 2025 has been packed with updates driven by your feedback and support. The highlight, of course, was the launch of Cabin Fever (Project Winter 2.0) in September - a huge step forward for the game that introduced a new game mode for a more streamlined experience!

Whether you’ve been with us since the early days or you joined us for the first time this year, we’ve felt the excitement from the community. Seeing returning players jump back in, new players discovering the chaos for the first time, and longtime fans sharing their experiences has made this year feel incredibly special for our small team.
To everyone who has played, given feedback, reported bugs, created content, brought friends, or simply stuck around through the storms: thank you. Project Winter has remained alive and thriving because of all of you.

You can show it by selecting Project Winter for the Labor of Love category on Steam’s nomination page!
