What is First Haul?
Truck World: Australia – First Haul is a short but immersive standalone experience that gives you a first taste of what we’re building.
You’ll complete two missions, drive across the dusty red outback, and face Australia’s harsh conditions — including a massive sandstorm.
But the core of the experience is what matters most: driving the truck.

Based on feedback from the community, we’ve completely overhauled the driving experience in First Haul:
- New and improved truck physics
- Full support for steering wheels from most major manufacturers
- Gamepad support and refined keyboard/mouse controls
- Multiple transmission options (auto, manual, H-shifter)
- Better sounds, improved UI, and dozens of bug fixes

Originally, First Haul was meant to be our demo. But instead of releasing something half-baked, we decided to delay the full demo until it better reflects the final game.
In the meantime, First Haul stands as its own free experience — and a key milestone in our shift to community-driven development.
