Captains!
With Update 15.2 fully released, it's now time for a sneak peek of what's coming in 15.3!
- Dockyard ZH-1: Get ready to build new German destroyer ZH-1—soon to be under construction at the Dockyard! She was born of a Dutch design but was seized by the Germans, and she features an unusual, aft-heavy, main gun layout best used when defense requires it. Where she really shines is with her fast-moving, quick-reloading torpedoes and her HE Airstrike armament—a rarity for German ships and destroyers in general!
- Dual Event Pass: Since Update 15.3 will run longer than usual, it offers two separate Event Passes with distinct themes. Golden Week kicks off the update with rewards inspired by Japanese tradition—Japanese Castle permanent camouflages for Amagi and Nagato, Golden Week containers, and hybrid battleship Ise.
The Battle of the Coral Sea Event Pass, inspired by the 1942 battle fought primarily between aircraft carriers, brings rewards like Commanders Robert E. Dixon and Shigekazu Shimazaki, Underwater Explosion and Monochrome enemy destruction effects, and destroyer Monaghan.
- Objective Points: Update 15.3 introduces a new feature—Objective Points. This addition is designed to give you clearer insight into how your in-game decisions and actions directly support your team’s success. They are earned through actions such as destroying enemy ships and contributing to mode objectives, for example, capturing or defending Key Areas. The aim is to help you better understand how your actions in battle impact the battle results.
- Aircraft Carrier Changes: In Update 15.3, Patrol Fighter patrol zones will become easier to detect, improving clarity when carriers contest the skies. Previously, players first had to detect the Patrol Fighter aircraft itself before the patrol zone became visible. Also, if you lost sight of the Patrol Fighter plane, you would lose sight of its patrol zone. The new system ensures that proximity to the patrol zone consistently reveals it, making the mechanic clearer and more predictable.
