Windows 11 installiert spiel startet und stürzt direkt ab wenn es ins Hauptmenü geht von den Trailern!!!

WRC 9 FIA World Rally Championship

kam wie schon der Vorgänger beim Epic Game Store ein Jahr früher raus, als bei Steam. Komischerweise kam dieser und der 10te Teil fast zeitgleich hier raus. Einerseits finde ich es toll, dass die Epic Game Store Exklusivität vorbei ist. Andererseits macht es für Steam Zocker den 9ten Teil überflüssig, da man gleich den 10ten Teil kaufen kann. So wollte ich ursprünglich den 9ten überspringen und beim 10ten weitermachen. Ich hab dann aber doch zugeschlagen, da es eine 50 Prozentige Reduzierung gab und ich nochmal billiger kaufen konnte, vielleicht weil ich den Vorgänger schon hab. Also habe ich nur ca. 16 Euro bezahlt und das wars mir dann doch wert hier mal rein zu Schnuppern.

Ich wurde jetzt nicht wirklich enttäuscht, aber ich habe mir mehr Erhofft. Denn der 9te Teil spielt sich haar genau wie der 8te. Es wurden wahrscheinlich irgendwelche Sachen verbessert. Mir ist aber nichts aufgefallen. Sogar die Menüs sind genau wie beim Vorgänger. Hätte ich den Vollpreis bezahlt, wäre ich jetzt sehr Sauer und hätte versucht das Game zurückzugeben.

Obwohl das für mich nicht so wichtig ist, habe ich den Online Multiplayer mal getestet, aber kein einziges offenes Spiel gefunden. Ich habs paar mal Versucht, aber ohne Erfolg. Und das noch an einem Samstag. Anscheinend tummeln sich die meisten WRC Fans schon im 10ten Teil.

Negativ ist mir noch aufgefallen, dass die deutsche Fahne oft falsch herum hängt. Viel öfters wie schon bei den Vorgängern. Ich muss auch die deutschen Strecken bemängeln, die finde ich nicht so gut gemacht. Außerdem hat es in Deutschland ab und zu geruckelt. Und das Land hat mir meine Wertung vermasselt, weil Deutschland extra viel schwerer gemacht wurde, wie der Rest. All das könnte darauf hindeuten, dass der Entwickler anscheinend Deutschland nicht mag. Ich will jetzt niemanden was unterstellen, aber es sieht ganz so danach aus.

Es gibt auch noch andere, altbekannte Schwächen. Wie z.B. unrealistische Unfälle. Kommen zwar nicht oft vor, aber sowas nervt. Und die Zuschauer, die sehen immer noch aus wie Schaufensterpuppen. Da müsste auch nachgebessert werden.

Ich bereue den Kauf jetzt nicht, da ich trotzdem meinen Spaß hatte und das Game sehr billig bekommen habe. Aber den Vollpreis würde ich dafür nicht zahlen. Lohnt sich nicht. Zu wenige Neuerungen im Vergleich mit dem 8ten Teil. Außerdem gibts ja schon den 10ten Teil. Dann lieber gleich den kaufen. Deshalb empfehle ich dieses Spiel nicht weiter!

I Loved WRC 8 now playing this one its even better, once ive mastered this then am looking forward to WRC 10, the reason why these series are so great is because of the realism speed and graphics and intensity, everything you want from this stuff!

I prefer this over Dirt 2.0 because of the career mode they have.
Its a game that doesn't frustrate me when I fail. The damage model is cool, the audio is great, visuals are a blast.

I gotta admit that I wasn't expecting to be giving WRC 9 a thumbs up due to the floating like a balloon issue that's spoilt the last few WRC games for me but, they've finally done something about it & it plays a lot better now. It still has a few issues but they pale in comparison to that one so I'm finally enjoying WRC again.

Well KT have flipped things around, their latest titles (WRC 9 for me) keep setting the bar higher compared to CM which have dropped the ball so low at this point, WRC is the Go-To game for your rally needs on Steam. Like I've mentioned in previous WRC reviews, KT have really found the sweet spot for a simcade rally game, you'll have fun and enjoy the rallies, going flatout in the 21km Finland stage is excellent, then take the very tight Japanese rally and you have a bit of everything. Their Single Player Career mode is very well executed and the soundtrack was tasteful.

I play these games with a Xbone pad so I can't comment on wheel issues that other people have reported.

This game has such good action { with an x-box one controller } ... the car has good realistic physics & handles really good { I've not tried any racing wheel } ... i like this better than dirt rally 2.0 ... you probably need to get a new monitor with a higher refresh rate { hz } ... the Spain SSS DLC track is a closed circuit with lots of tight turns with no additional route options and not even a change in direction of travel so i don't recommend that particular add-on { the base game is probably all you want especially if it is on sale } ... you can change the difficulty of the a.i in quick race and season mode ... in quick race you can drive any track as soon as you start the game with no trouble ... I'm also a hard critic of the games i buy so if i don't like something i say it ... this game is the rally game i prefer to play ... WRC 10 is good too but basically it is the same thing as far as i can tell so i bought this on sale and got a refund on WRC 10 until the price comes down ... WRC 9 is probably just as good { or maybe better } because i noticed the graphics in WRC 10 at times looked a bit off because of the overcast lighting but maybe i need to spend more time playing WRC 10 to say if this was just happening is some events and not in general. I'm not seeing anything wrong in WRC 9. The turning radius for hairpin turns might be sharper in WRC 10 but not a problem in WRC 9. If you don't want to manage your team in Career mode the Season mode is for you because it's the same thing as career with all the same races apparently just without managing your team { i don't even know what managing the team involves because you still control the repairs in season mode & i didn't even try career mode }. There is also an option to turn damage on or off in season mode { this is good if you are driving the 21km route in Monte Carlo and you flip your car somewhere by accident }. Update: Apparently there are more tracks in WRC 10 and the graphics are the same { in the routes that are in both games } just the lighting and colouring is different from videos I've seen on youtube. Some tracks the lighting in WRC 9 looks better { more sunny instead of looking greyed out or overcast like it looks in WRC 10 from what I've seen on youtube } but then again there are more tracks in WRC 10 { it might be less distracting driving with less sunny weather with no shadows from trees in WRC 10 but i could see the road fine in WRC 9 with the sunny effects } ... now you don't know what to do ... right ? ? ?
