[p]Greetings, fellow Vampires![/p][p][/p][p]While we’ve been buried in the kind of work that doesn’t screenshot well (those bloody 1s and 0s), we figured a small update is better than total silence. Today, we’re talking about the Train Station. [/p][p]Ready your luggage. Mind the step. Bloody Hell Hotel is just ahead. [/p][p]P.S.: We’ve been saving that last line for a while. We're unreasonably proud of it and regret nothing.[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p]The hotel is connected to the outside world by a single underground station. It’s not for guests. It’s for deliveries - conveniently ordered from your very own steampunk computer in the lobby.[/p][p]This is also where you’ll return from dungeon expeditions, via a network of minecarts scattered throughout the depths. A forgotten transportation system once used by the Vampiric Council.[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p][/img][/p][p]Quick Cart is the Bloody Hell Hotel equivalent of Amazon. Place an order through your lobby computer and the goods will be delivered straight to the underground station. You’ll have 12 hours to pick up your order before the train departs, so there’s no rush.[/p][p][/img][/p][p]That said, Quick Cart won’t deliver the shadier items you might want the most (blood flasks, lockpicks, etc.). It’s strictly for everyday necessities - farming seeds, cooking ingredients, and other respectable hotel supplies.[/p][p]Is delivery free? Yes. We briefly considered calling it something random, like Prime, but the team agreed it would never catch on, so we decided not to name it at all.[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p]The Vampiric Council app on your lobby computer offers a variety of services. One of them happens to be discreet deliveries straight to the train station.[/p][p][/img][/p][p]Unlike Quick Cart, which accepts human monies (gross), vampires trade in Crypt-O - a secondary in-game currency designed specifically to keep questionable transactions off the Vampire Hunters’ radar.[/p][p]Crypt-O can be acquired by trading through your computer (careful, it’s volatile), or by mining it yourself (also careful - this tends to attract Vampire Hunters' attention).[/p][p]The Vampiric Council store offers blood flasks, lockpicks, questionable cooking ingredients (poisons!), and a selection of items that will make even a 200-year-old blush (the equivalent of a vampire teenager).[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p]But wait - there’s more. No Bloody Hell Hotel update would be complete without a gnome being shoved into it for no apparent reason, and this one is no exception.[/p][p]The train station houses its very own Lost and Found, managed by a gnome named Jumble.[/p][p][/img][/p][p]The shop serves several purposes, but the most important one is this: Jumble will help you identify lore items recovered from the dungeons. Doing so grants Wisdom Points, which are used to unlock special abilities in your Vampiric Skill Tree.[/p][p]We’ll talk more about character progression and dungeon exploration in upcoming updates.[/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p][p]Development is moving forward steadily, and we understand many of you are eager to get your hands on the game asap. As promised, we want to keep narrowing the release window as development progresses - and with that comes the responsibility to set expectations clearly.[/p][p]With that in mind, we’re currently targeting late 2026, rather than the next few months. The game has been in development for nearly 6 years now. Now that we're in the final stretch, we're prioritizing quality over a rushed release.[/p][p]As we get closer to launch, we’ll ramp up with major trailers - we want to make sure they reflect the game accurately before launch. Until then, we’ll keep sharing updates on Steam, gameplay snippets on TikTok and behind-the-scenes previews on Discord.[/p][p][/p][p]As always, thank you for your support - we’re excited to show you what all this work has been building toward. Up next: character progression & dungeons. [/p][p][/p][p][/img][/p]
