Seeing that more and more people discover our little indie game genuinely means a lot to us. A very warm welcome to our community, if you're a new player. We hope you feel right at home. Here’s a quick explanation of our Monthly:

[b]Monthly Mode[/b] brings a fresh Dorfromantik challenge every month. Each month uses the same setup for everyone, so you can compare your score with other players on equal footing. Expect special rules, new twists, and a different strategic focus from the regular game. It is a great way to revisit Dorfromantik with a competitive edge while keeping its calm, cozy feel. [b]"Tile Together" Community Event[/b]

In April, the start of the Monthly Challenge coincides with a long weekend, and we're taking this opportunity to kick off a new event format: the [b]Dorfromantik Tile Together[/b]!

A global Community Day dedicated to playing Dorfromantik. We at Toukana invited ourselves to a cozy game night. And now we’re inviting you to join us... at your own home!

Introducing: "Tile Together" Day

Here’s the idea: [b]players all around the world play on the same day.[/b]

Now the important part:

This is [b]on purpose NOT a stream or a shared call[/b]. No voice chat, no pressure. Just you, your game, and the quiet, beautiful feeling of KNOWING that somewhere else on this planet, someone is placing tiles too!

We invite you to use the occasion to check out the new Monthly, invite some friends over for a spontaneous Dorfromantik boardgame night, or finally start that big project you’ve been wanting to build for so long in Creative Mode.

First Tile Together: April 2, 2026

We will kick off our studio game night [b]Thursday, April 2, 18:00 CEST[/b]. But of course you’re welcome to choose a time on April 2 that suits you best.

If a Community Day is something we all enjoy, we’ll suggest regular Tile Together Days in the future. We already have a few ideas for additional activities during those days but we’d also love to hear your wishes. Is a Community Day something you’re personally interested in? And if so: What would be a nice addition, activity or occasion for the next Tile Together?
